Best Electrical Panel Repair in Jacksonville FL

Travis and Leo fixed a couple electrical issues for us. We will always use American Electrical Contracting, as they have the best customer service!

Service was performed this morning and the problem was fixed. However, when I was quoted the price it was for an hour of work and then priced in increments of half hour if more time is needed. They charged for an extra half hour even through they were not here longer than an hour and told my daughter it was because of drive time, etc. When I was quoted the price it was DEFINITELY stated that the price began when they knocked at the door and that travel time was not charged. Shame on me. I should have required a written quote. Just don't make the same mistake as I did. It won't happen again.

Billy came out on valentines day to check what looked to be a fried breaker box. Obviously it need to be replaced and he made some things happen and will be my house in 30 minutes(this morning) to switch it out, even worked with us on financing options. This service is top notch and the company doesn't do anything but customer service the way it should be run by a responsible business. Thank you Billy and Mr. Sparky!

American Electric did an excellent job of installing our new kitchen lighting. They were prompt, professional, and when finished cleaned the area. We were very impressed a would highly recommend American Electric to anyone seeking electrical work.

All employees, especially Lucas and Andy were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Questions were answered immediately in language I could understand. They arrived at at scheduled time and preformed in a professional manner, leaving the site cleaner than they found. The final price was exactly what was estimated. I will definitely be recommending them to people looking for electrical work.

These are by far the best electrician that I have used. This was a Tesla wall charger that was difficult to get to the breaker but they did it with the least amount of disruption. Kudos will use them for all my future electrical work

Thanks to Jose,Ryan,Brett and Caleb for the hard work of figuring out the electrical issue and correcting what previous so called electricians did wrong. They went above and beyond and were extremely knowledgeable. They explained everything they were doing and did what they had to do to repair a very serious issue (faulty wiring) as well as working through what I call a huge puzzle. They also relocated outlets and worked to get the three way switches all working properly and ran new wiring from the panel box, as well as bringing everything up to code. I couldn't ask for more. Great job guys!

if you need an electrician, do NOT call Thompson Electric whatever you do...

they came out to my home last week & charged me $125 to misdiagnose an issue...
they wanted to come back out & charge me $2,600 to do something that would Not have fixed the issue.....

* I called JEA the next morning & my issue was resolved by JEA within 3 hours of my call to them & JEA charged me nothing to fix it....
I called to let them know the outcome & was told no refund would be given & then was hung up on.
no refund given by Thompson Electric for misdiagnosing the issue...
I'm just glad I didn't pay them $2,600 to do what they wanted to do, that would Not have resolved my issue..
