Cody H. & Daniel R. did an excellent job today. They installed 2 ceiling fans & a light fixture over the fireplace. They were quick & efficient. I was impressed by their professionalism & they were pleasant to talk with. They cleaned up their mess and took the old parts & boxes with them. The price was fair and outcome fantastic. We had to have 2 people come out and they came to our house a total of 3 times and our problem is not solved. I have a flickering light in a ceiling fan. Nobody went to check the box in the garage. My electrician neighbor told us what the problem probably is and couldn't believe the way they handled the situation and their lack of knowledge. He told us not to let anyone from this company back into our house. We had to have our ceiling fan put back up and it was wobbling like crazy. It wasn't wobbling before the tech came out. He even said if it's not our light bulbs causing the issue we might have a poltergeist. It was very unprofessional of him. These techs do not know the basics and I'm calling for a refund tomorrow. I don't trust them to come back to my house.

Advance Electric of N. Florida is a top notch electrical company that performs electrical services for residential and commercial buildings in Jacksonville. We are a small licensed general contracting firm, originally from Miami and we spent the last two years developing an upscale concrete block home and unattached garage on the St. John's River. Originally we hired another company to pull the permit and complete the job. Unfortunately the owner disappeared in the middle of the project.
We scrambled to locate another company that would be willing to undertake the previous contractor's work and pull a new permit. Brice of Advance Electric came out and gave us an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He sent out Paul, the company's top technician. Paul attacked each part of the job with success, effortlessly. Not only that, he was very polite, efficient and cleaned up after himself. The company did what they would say they would do, supplied the materials and now everything works as it should. We were very happy with our experience with Advance Electric of N. FL. and we can say without reservation that they are one of the best companies that we have ever worked with.

The technician clearly explained the scope of work and helped me make an informed decision. Frank was professional, on time, and patient.

I contacted American Electric of Jacksonville to hang crystal chandeliers in 2-Story areas of our new home. Not only did they get it done with amazing quality, there was a considerable amount of troubleshooting which they took in stride. They spent the time to get everything perfect which required hanging these heavy, massive chandeliers, and then placing hundreds of individual crystals. They treated the installation as if they were doing it in their house.

They were also incredibly easy to work with and really well priced. I can't recommend them enough. This company will be my go to for years to come.

I called Thompson to fix an emergency on a Friday afternoon. I received immediate attention and prompt, professional service from the technician and office staff. The job was reasonably priced & was done in no time. The technician was very courteous and finished the work perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs any kind of electrical work done. I will definitely be using them in the future.

We've had to use these guys twice recently, or both experiences were exceptional. When the cold weather kicked in this winter we started turning on the heat and we had a breaker start tripping with frequency. The home is 30 years old and it was simply worn out (I guess). I had expected them to maybe pitch replacing all the breakers, but they didn't. If it's not broken, don't fix it - they said.

For my wife's birthday I recently replaced our aging electric range with a gas range. The clock and thermostat require a 110 hookup, but the electric range had a 220 hookup. So, I needed this converted. They again called when they were on their way, arrived and handled our needs quickly and professionally. We intend to keep using Lin's Electric as needs arise.

Joshua was pleasant to work with very knowledgeable in his craft, he came in and got right to work. I had several switches that had gone bad and he fixed them all quickly, I was very happy with the price. They have my business, I will definitely call on them again in the future.

The first time they came out was great. They did what needed to be done and at the price they quoted. The next time however wasn't a great experience. They took the entire day and didn't finish the work. They were putting in recessed light as I asked but they cut the hole too close to the beam in the ceiling so they had to put an LED light instead of what I asked for. As such, the smaller light didn't quite fit the hole they cute so now I've gotta patch it. This cost $200 above the quote and then they had to come out the next day to finish the work and then they invoiced me an additional $337. So I was quoted $550 or something like that and ended up having to pay more than $1,000 for the work. On top of it, they didn't even install a light on the front porch which was quoted in the initial price and the light fixture they installed on the back of the house doesn't even work. So, price was twice as much for only part of the work with patch work required in the ceiling. Their friendliness is out-weighted by expensive and incomplete electrical work. I thought I had a good electrician there for a moment. So disappointed.

Fantastic service and value. The team installed a pool heater circuit and converted a well pump to 220v. Scheduling was easy, estimate was accurate and the team arrived when scheduled. Truly a pleasure.
