Best Electric Panel in Jacksonville FL

Today we had Michael and his assistant here for a small electrical repair. Both of these employees presented themselves in a professional manner and were neat in appearance. Both of these men were very courteous and got the job done in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to call on this company again or to refer others to your company. We are very satisfied with the job that was done.

Our water heater failed. David Gray company came to our house and fixed it for a reasonable price. Corey and apprentice were both extremely nice, very competent, very professional. Will use them for all our electrical and plumbing problems, and will request these two people for any problems. They are really smart and very well educated in this work.

Paul was so pleasant, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended this company!

Mike & Cam are an awesome team of efficient electricians. They are very competent & knowledgeable in all areas of rewiring the whole old house. Danny and Scott were here and upgraded our panel box! These guys are awesome!! Considerate, efficient and so very helpful!! Even after a repair man that was called to move our hot water heater cut the water heater hose and sprayed water all over their equipment!! They were still professional!! We definitely need more people like them in the world!! Great job guys!!

Customer service is terrible. Technician was supposed to arrive between 8 and 10, didn't show up until 11am. They did not even have the courtesy to call and let me know he was running late. Still charged me a service fee for 2 seconds of work and never once apologized for the inconvenience. Don't waste your time and money with this rude and inconsiderate business.

New grounds on outside electric box and by tankless water heater. Lightning strike destroyed the water heater due to ol
d/bad grounding. I got shocked with 1 finger on laptop. I feel safer now.

I have known this family for 15 years and highly recommend their services. They are very dependable and show great integrity in all their work.

Just 2 days ago we had an electrical fire at our light pole. Almost the entire pole went up in flames. We started calling contractors and Thompson Electric was the 1st one we called but they were unable to come out until the next morning. We did find another contractor that came out that day and was able to give us a quote. They told us that it would be Friday before they could get started. After Thompson gave us their quote which was just slightly lower than the 1st company they asked me how soon did I want to get the job done. I said as soon as possible and they said they could start that day. They got the job. They finished the job today and I don't know if they had some pull with JEA but amazingly JEA arrived just about 2 hours before Thompson finished and got the electric line back up. The last part of the job was having the meter installed and around 8pm JEA showed up to complete that. So just around 60 hours from the Thompson quote we had brand new electrical service and that included the pole having to be relocated due to the old one not being in code now. Thompson exceeded our expectations. The staff was super nice and professional.

Complete trash. Unprofessional and incompetent. Couldn't repair a simple outlet in my bathroom after taking 3 weeks to schedule appointment and then showing up on the wrong day ?

I requested a quote through one of those websites that helps you find local service providers. Burbank Electric responded within the hour. We set a day/time for the estimate which was the next morning. I was surprised when Richard, the owner showed up promptly at 9am. He assessed what needed to be done and I had my estimate in about 5 minutes. I could tell he knew what he was talking about because I had a few estimates pre-pandemic to relocate and replace the electric panel to bring it up to code. I had another estimate schedule so I told him I would call him back and let him know. I live in a home that was built in the 1930’s so the walls are not made of traditional drywall. Richard didn’t seemed intimidated within the task of cutting through the wall to flip the panel moving it out of the kitchen cabinet. He said the cut out would be covered completely by the panel. After thinking about it I canceled the other estimate and called Burbank Electric to accept the estimate which was emailed to me that afternoon. On the date schedule for installation Austin showed up at 7:45 am and stay in the truck until approximately 8 am. He started dismantling the panel and said Richard would be here in about an hour. Richard arrived just I was told and the installation was completely in about 8 hours. Although they encountered a little troubled with getting the panel to fit in the initial cut and had to make it larger; I am very please with the results. I would definitely use Burbank Electric again. They get top marks for prompt response time, professionalism, making minimal mess, cleaning up after themselves, sticking to the estimate given, not adding any hidden fees, and for doing a great job. All those things were very important to me as I was unable to get input from my husband who is currently still in the hospital. Thank you Richard and Austin for a job well done.

I looked out the window and saw a guy with a backpack and a guy with a cloth lunch bag. I thought they were homeless, no, they were my electricians. They looked at my panel and said they found the problem and went to get parts to fix it. What they worked on did not resolve my problem. I called and told them this and they sent out two more guys the next day (they looked more professional and had tools with them). turns out, they could not figure out my problem either. So called again and for three days they said they would be back out, however they never came back. I called another company and with a glance, they diagnosed my problem (panel needed to be replaced) and had it fixed in one day. So dealing with Jax Electrical cost me two days of work and they could not figure out what the problem was. You be the judge as to whether you would use them or not.

Joshua and his team responded quickly to my needs and the day after I spoke with him the job was complete to my satisfaction. They installed an electrical outlet in a place that I thought would be very difficult but Joshua knew how to do it in a way I never considered. He held to his estimate even though the job took longer than expected. I recommend this company.

Fantastic service and value. The team installed a pool heater circuit and converted a well pump to 220v. Scheduling was easy, estimate was accurate and the team arrived when scheduled. Truly a pleasure.

I was really pleased with Master Electrician Michael's work. He came out on short notice and installed some outlets I really needed. He was very professional, did a clean job, and his pricing was very reasonable. I will use him again in the future.
