Our AC unit went down during a 114 degree day. Always, on the hottest days, right?! I called about 4 companies for immediate service. (I only call and use licensed contractor's that have excellent reviews along with a good AZROC and BBB standing.) Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling was the friendliest of all and were able to come out at 5 PM same day. They were sincerely interested in helping us. The tech, Dave, worked on our unit for about 3 1/2 hours until we were able to get cool air. He was very pleasant and clean up after his work. He was determined not to let us suffer another any longer. Thank you SAH&C for your excellent service.

Hired Comfort Experts to do an air quality analysis when our son started experiencing allergy symptoms. From the first call to when the technician left Howard Air has been WONDERFUL! Scott Bird is so knowledgeable about anything A/C related. He was great and patient with us as we decided to get a new unit for our home. John or technician was so nice and answered all of our questions. We can not wait to get our new unit in. So glad though that Howard Air has a program that will temporarily fix your not working A/C until the new one comes in. I just had Kenny from Crispy Air & Heating at my house to deal with a service request for my AC. First impression...PROFESSIONAL!!! He arrived early, took the time to listen to the symptoms I was experiencing with my AC unit, then fixed the problem for me. Not only that, he took the time to answer my questions and explained them in a way that I was able to better understand. UPDATE: They refunded me.

The service tech didn't check heat pump refrigerant levels or the capacitor but immediately said the compressor needed replacing. It did not; only the capacitor needed replacing.
They ordered a new compressor, but it hadn't arrived for weeks, so I told them I no longer needed it and asked for a refund. They said they'd review my case, but for weeks they didn't get back to me.
Service tech even joked about charging almost $200 to replace a fuse on a Saturday!

Scott has provided great customer service for a lot of people in my network. After hearing them rave about his work, I felt comfortable choosing him as my HVAC tech. He did not dissappoint! If you want integrity, knowledge and quality work for a great price Scott is your man!

These guys are the best! Our a/c went out on a weekend and they showed up within a few hours to diagnose the problem. Thankfully it was still under warranty.

Unfortunately the manufacturer gave us the run around on replacement parts (apparently they no longer support our unit, even though it’s only 3 years old). Meanwhile our house was 118 degrees inside!!!

Rather than continue to wait on the manufacturer Junior and Jerry found a complete unit and swapped mine out.

This company is so unprofessional. They did work for us can't even get an invoice out of them they promised it to me yesterday by the end of the day didn't happen they promised it to me today by noon didn't happen now they're saying by the end of today it won't happen they ignore your calls their work is shoddy don't use them

With all the choices we have here, this is the best one you can make. He was at our house when he said he would be and less than 1 hour after calling. Diagnosed the issue and got cold air blowing again. Said he'd probably have to come back in a few days to install part he needed to pick up, which was perfectly fine with me. Instead he called me just a bit later to let me know he'd picked up the part and was coming over to install.
The pricing was beyond fair.
And he's a great guy on top of it.
