Allan and Hillary came over and solved the problem and actually fixed it. He did a great job, taught me how my drain works and showed me where my drain line connects to the plumbing in the house under the sink. We use Scottsdale Air twice a year to provide systems checkup and service. Last week Bonz Heideman, Scottsdale Air service tech, provided our winter tuneup. We appreciate his complete review and service to our systems. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for well trained HVAC technicians..
These guys are awesome. Professional, responsive, and courteous. When they installed my HVAC unit, they provided several options with lots of details. They also provide tune-ups and cleaning. Today’s technician (Matt) went over everything he did, answered all my questions, and provided information about Scottsdale Air’s Membership Program (without pressure).

This morning on my commute I was in front of a Scottsdale Air Work Truck on the 202 East (red mountain fwy). The driver zoomed past me doing at least 90 in the carpool lane ALONE and weaving in and out of traffic WHILE TEXTING. I was able to pull up closer to him as he exited on McClintock and got the AZ plate number as CMO8647. I'm extremely disappointed with this company's driver, breaking the law by riding in the carpool alone, weaving in and out of traffic and putting other drivers and himselft at risk by texting while operating a pretty big work truck.
We had two new air conditioning units intalled in 2020 by Scottsdale Air. We recently had a very thorough tuneup on the two units performed by Bonz, who was courteous, prompt, informative, and just an overall nice guy with a cool name! He recommended an air scrubber and installed it on the same tuneup call. We trust Scottsdale Air completely and appreicate the quality service we consistently receive.

Honest Honest Honest. This company employs nice, honest, hard working, and smart people. Over the years as a tempe resident we have had a couple people come out to service our air from this company and it's always been a great experience. Our unit is 20 years old and they never push to sell us anything. They do the best they can to service and repair our old lady until we can afford a new unit. They give us tips and tricks. Highly recommend this company. And if they tell you to get a new unit you will know it's Honest.

Hands down the best company to work with ! I have used other companies in the past and Scottsdale Air Heating is by far the best. I want to give a special shout out to Jonathon who was my tech who is the ONLY person who knows about Mitsubishi wall unit air conditioners as so many other companies / techs claim they do but know nothing. I want to also give out a special thank you to Dave Holland who came out , talked to me and actually helped put a temporary fix until Jonathon came out
Bonz is my guy at Scottsdale Air! Calls when he's on his way, explains exactly what he would be doing and even showed me the before/after work that was done which I very much appreciate. I am in the military and deployed overseas. My AC went out and Scottsdale Air was highly recommended, it was noted they were expensive but did quality work and had great customer service. My family called, they were prompt about coming out and providing solutions. They put in place a $500 temp repair which we were fine with since we knew the unit was older and we would likely need to replace. They said the $500 would be deducted from any future HVAC replacement. So we proceeded with quotes and made a selection. They do offer a 10% military discount, which we appreciated greatly. But when we went to settle the final invoice, the $500 was never deducted. When I called for clarification, they stated that it was an either/or with the 10% discount...
Had we known this ahead of time, the price point would have been such that we would have shopped around... Lesson learned, if I have future issues while away, I will certainly find a way to do better due diligence.
John Areikat from Scottsdale Air came out to our home last month to look at an A/C unit that stopped working. First off, he was extremely professional and very patient answering all of my questions as he diagnosed the problem. Second and probably most importantly, he took the time to show me the exact issue and discussed how he proposed he would repair it and the exact cost. He even gave me advice and walked me through how to prevent it from occurring again. And lastly, he was very, very fair with the price for the repair. Overall, John represents the Scottsdale Air brand and reputation extremely well! If only more HVAC companies could be as honest and straightforward as John and Scottsdale Air.

Called Scottsdale Air based on reviews and seeing their vehicles around our neighborhood. First call was on a Thursday. They said someone would call us back that day but we never heard back so I called again Monday. They were apologetic and sent someone that day. He said he fixed the issue but as soon as he left my husband checked and it was still actively leaking in the house. I called and asked if someone else could come take a look they said they would send someone Tuesday morning. I called late Tuesday afternoon to see if anyone was coming and they did not have us on the schedule, again they were apologetic and able to get someone out before the end of the day. He did a little more work and investigation than the first person but again told us it was fixed and again we discovered it was not right after he left (my bad for not checking while he was there). I understand it is an old system and may not be fixable but I would rather know that than have fake fixes.

I can’t even begin to state how wonderful this company is. As I manage a place of business they came to my rescue. It was later in the day, our AC went out and we had deadlines to achieve for our Roofing company. I made a phone call to another company. They stated they could not get to us until the next day. I found Scottsdale Air conditioning called and spoke with Christine, within moments she confirmed I would have a technician at our place of business within the hour. I would recommend Scottsdale Air every single time. Back in August, my upstairs unit was not working, I called Scottsdale Air as they were the ones who had done our initial installation and they had done a great job. Dave came and gave a quote. While we were deciding on a day that worked for us, the a/c came back on by itself, so we ended up not getting the repair done. But this past week, the unit stopped working again. When I called Scottsdale Air, Jacob the manager said he would honor the original quote. Dave was the one who came again and instead of just going ahead and installing what we had discussed previously, he did another diagnostic, found a leak, replaced the coil, all at no additional cost inspite of the size of the additional job. The initial job which was to take 2 hours ended up taking almost 6 because he had to go pick another part up, call another technician to help him, and do extra work.Not only that, he made sure that he wore booties inside the house because he noticed that we don't wear shoes inside the house. Every single time he had to go in and out of the house (which was a lot ), he would take them off, put them back on. The Scottsdale Air team is great, especially Dave - all about the customer, very fair in their dealings and you could see that they take pride in the quality of work they do.
We have used Scottsdale Air for both repair work and maintenance inspections. Dave is who we request and get when needed. He is prompt, very thorough and very effective. He always cleans up the area before leaving and explains very clearly what was done. I recommend Scottsdale Air for any HVAC work required.

I was very frustrated today with my experience. I had used Scottsdale Air & cooling before. They had come and done a good job. Today, the technician showed up and said my roof was too tall and he could not work on a tile roof. This is despite the fact that they had been here before and worked on my roof. I had taken the day off to be here for them and they just said no and left. Why they agreed to the appointment if they had these concerns, I do not know. They really left me in a lurch. I will not be calling them again.

I cannot say enough how great my service was from Scottsdale Air. I worked with Eric, who did an excellent job of figuring out what my issue was with getting my house cooled off. He didn't try and sell me into a larger unit like a few other companies had tried to do, instead he got me the right setup. I highly recommend Scottsdale Air and can't thank them enough for getting me fixed up.
I would recommend Scottsdale Air for any AC installation. They did a great job on my RV mini split system. The crew was very experienced and knowledgeable. Eric was great to work with. Very professional service. Thanks for the install!

We have had a number of good experiences with Scottsdale Air. Each time, the technician arrived on time. He clearly explains what work is needed.
We had a pre-summer maintenance check of the AC units. The technician remembered the previous visit and made sure to review what had been done.
Most recently, the company installed missing vents. They are very honest, honored the quote they gave us -- even when the job became more complicated then they had originally thought. We greatly appreciate the good service.

Had our yearly tune-up. As usual technician was professional and informative. Answered all of our questions. Technician made suggestions but not once was high pressure or alarmist. Appreciate good customer service. We are in the market for a new system and will definitely make Scottsdale Air our go to supplier.
What a great experience to work with a company that values its quality and people. Dave did an outstanding job. Followed up on parts I needed, stayed in touch , got the job done. Our three A/C systems work fine now.

Scheduled Maintenance visit today. My technician Scott Baker gave me a call to let me know he was on his way. He gave me ample notice, as it gave me time to get home. We have 2 units that were due for maintenance. One is about 10 years old and one is 1 year old, both from Scottsdale Air. I am not familiar with what all is involved with the maintenance, however Scott spent a good amount of time on both units and their respective air handlers. When his work was done, he reviewed what he found, answered my multitudinous questions with patience AND what I really appreciated was the extra time he took to rinse the coils off on both units. He said they were dirty, which would likely affect their cooling and efficiency. THAT really resonated with me. Let me tell you why.... because another company used in the past, suggested a coil wash and provided a $$ quote, for next time. It may have been reasonable. I appreciate my technician going the extra mile. That is customer service and I appreciate feeling that I can trust the company I hire, more over the face of the company....their technicians. Thank you Scott Baker.
Mike and his crew are incredibly knowledgable and everyone I've met at Scottsdale Air has been very friendly and helpful, even when we're asking question after question about our HVAC.
We had to replace our old HVAC recently during a remodel and Mike (full disclosure: we are neighbors of the owner) and his team were very helpful with our situation. We needed to get the new (4-ton Trane system) installed while keeping the old system running for a bit. The electrical to our home was 3-phase (yes, it was) and the old HVAC was 3-phase. It was early summer and we asked that they install the new system alongside the old. We were then able to install our new electrical service (single phase) and perform the cut-over from the old to the new within hours thanks to Scottsdale Air's eagerness to make it happen smoothly.
From the people in the office to the crew that worked up in our attic, everyone was great. We're also having them put the finishing touches on the system once the renovation is nearly complete. Mike even came out to help me design the rest of the system and helped me figure out how to prepare for the finish work.
I would highly recommend Scottsdale Air for your HVAC needs. We're customers for life.
Scottsdale Air was so helpful in getting our air turned on quickly during our remodel. We were having issues with the drywall taking awhile to dry due to cooler weather and they came out with two hours notice to get it warming up the house and help with our construction timeline. They were so friendly and accommodating!
Scottsdale Air has excellent office help and expert field technicians. Our tech (we always ask for Scott) diagnoses the issues with our units... carefully informs us of his findings and what the 'fix' is... and takes care of the problem or maintenance. Having Scott come by is like having a visit from a good friend a couple of times a year. We love this company and would give them an even higher rating if it were offered.
Scottsdale Air did a awesome job. I tried to use my warranty HVAC repair company to fix my AC that died at 107 degrees outside. After no call back for a day, I called Scottsdale Air and was called back in 15 minutes. They gave me an appointment time for the same day. The technician, Scott, showed up promptly as scheduled and was very professional. He immediately inspected, diagnosed, and repaired my AC in 30 minutes. Plus checked it out for any other issues. Best AC repair experience that I can recall. thank you!
Our A/C unit is under warranty and went out last night. Dave came out this morning and was able to get a complicated problem fixed in one visit. A part had to be replaced from the manufacturer. Dave took the time to pick up the part, comes straight back and get everything fixed. It took more time than most service calls, but he kept me up to date throughout the process. On top of that, he was also able to replace the filters in the air handlers and do maintenance on our other unit even though I had not scheduled it ahead time. Thank you for your hard work Dave! Our 12 yr old A/C system was going downhill fast, and Scottsdale Air was able to quickly put together a plan to replace it with a new high efficiency unit before we experienced a total failure of the system. Steve did an awesome job of laying out a variety of options in a replacement system, and the entire experience was handled in a very professional and friendly manner. I highly recommend Scottsdale Air for your heating and cooling needs!

We replaced our old unit with a new one from Scottsdale Air. The technicians were pleasant, courteous, and did a great job. there were a couple very minor issues I mentioned during a follow-up call and Scottsdale Air sent someone out at the earliest convenience to address the issues and make it right. I would recommend Scottsdale Air to a friend.
I am very pleased with Scottsdale Air's excellent service. I especially want to commend Russ Byrum. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in explaining everything involved with purchasing and installing my new Trane Air Conditioner. He was very patient in walking me through the whole process. And he is Dog Friendly, I liked that! Thank you, Russ! The gentlemen that installed the AC were great and did the job quickly and efficiently, leaving the area clean before leaving.

This is a very friendly and professional operation, including the sales representative, the office receptionist/scheduler and the installers. Reviews that were read prior to signing the contract turned out to be accurate. We had 4 contractors visit and write proposals. We had to request that 3 of the 4 contractors return in order to get an apples to apples comparison. Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling was the only one to come back and make an actual on-site inspection to determine if the one quote from a competitor was a necessary add-on. They agreed and gave a significantly better bid. They also met our scheduling expectations. We are anticipating that the annual maintenance will be as professional as well.

We have used Scottsdale Air for service for many years and have been very pleased. When it was time to replace our units, Steve Voirin discussed with us our needs and quickly responded with a competitive bid and installation schedule. The installation team was professional and courteous and completed their work on schedule.

What sold us initially on using Scottsdale Air for the replacement of our Heat Pump was Dan Delgado...Sales Consultant in March 2018. His experience as an installer and service tech brought a sense of confidence to know that the job would be done right.
To add “icing-on-the cake” the installers (Ev and Mikey) assigned to our job were excellent! I was actually present, within earshot, for 90% of the installation time and found both of them individually highly technically competent and worked well together when teamwork was needed.
Our most recent experience with Scottsdale air was on September 19, 2019. We had a service call from Scott Baker who is outstanding! He diagnosed the problem, consulted with Jacob on the telephone, and had a solution in minutes. Scott replaced the E 30 flex board that was under warranty and it solved our problem.

My experience with Mike and his team were truly professional and very helpful. I have not dealt with another company that goes the extra mile like Scottsdale Air Heating and Cooling. I was having serious problems with our air conditioning and thermostat installed by another BIG known company which apparently could not be fixed. Scottsdale Air tech Jacob impressed us with his systematic troubleshooting approach and always kept us informed during the process. The problem wire was identified and repaired quickly. Scott, a technician who has serviced my unit before and who I trust, came to do a simple check-up on the heater. The unit ran as an a/c unit a couple of weeks ago and as a heating unit last March, so I expected a simple trip.
I was wrong, as Scott began, the u it would not work. No heating, no blowing...literally nothing. He immediately assessed the problem as a bad board. He did additional testing and learned the motor for the blower was also dead. The unit is 9 years old...thank goodness.
Nine years ago, Mike, the owner visited me to discuss a new unit. When he showed me the numbers, I saw a line for $2000. When I asked what it was, he said it was a warranty. I normally don’t but warranties, but did so this time. Thank goodness. The warranty covered both parts and labor. The service to replace the parts was free.
I was amazed, but Scottsdale Air got parts for a 9 year old unit the next day. Scott returned the next day and did the work. I am always appreciative because Scott does not mind my watching and asking questions.
As a reflection of. Scott’s consistent commitment to superior customer service, after completing the repairs, Scott ensured both the heater and /c worked.
I am now ready for the winter.

Last summer I had 4 different TOP RATED AC companies come out to quote my new home (14 year old AC unit) for a new AC unit.
From the office staff, Sales Rep and to Technicians Scottsdale Air responded very quickly and were very professional and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.

A couple of months ago we purchased a Trane 4 ton variable speed system from Scottsdale Air Heating and Cooling, and we couldn't be happier. The installation of the new system was flawless. The employees were very professional. The system is so quiet you hardly hear it running. This weekend with the temperatures over 110 , the system ran great. The house was very comfortable. If, you are going to purchase a new A/C system, I would recommend giving Scottsdale Air a call.

UPDATE:8/20/2020 William came today,114 degrees out. He replace the bad condenser fan and installed a new starter as well. They applied the service charge from the day prior. Update: 07.05.2019 my old ac unit had a part go bad last night. We were all in the pool and did not notice it until morning. I called Scottsdale Air and Justin W. came out. He did a great job,he diagnosed the problem quickly, had parts readily available in his van and left no mess. He explained my options on the repair and we chose the path best for us. Scottsdale air has been doing my hvac work since 1995. They do great work and their prices are fair and reasonable. They have replaced two units on my mom's home and do the service on my home. There techs have always gone out of their way to make sure the job gets done right the first time. Last summer we had a 911.... No ac. I thought the worst and it turned out to be a circuit board. I have an older unit and the service man Scott took the time to find a replacement rather than up sell me. Three words HONEST,TRUSTWORTHY and ,DEPENDABLE. That's what we all want, right? Scottsdale Air is a first class company. Everyone that I worked with during the installation of our new AC unit was on time, respectful and knowledgable. We had a tricky issue with water leaking from our air conditioning due to it being installed by a subpar company that was not Scottsdale Air. The technicians that came to due the repairs were on time, friendly and knowledgable. Explained exactly what they were doing and why. Pricing also seemed fair based on work completed. I plan to use again for tune ups in the future.

Long story short – our master bedroom was a previous owner addition, in order to get it cool or warm enough we had to be too hot or too cold in the main part of the house.
Saw a Mitsubishi ductless unit at Home depot thought that this might be a good option... had the HD guy come and give us an estimate.. Was not impressed at all, Went to the Mitsubishi website found Scottsdale Air listed as a diamond dealer,
Steve came out, he was friendly and helpful and his price was $500.00 less then Home Depot. Tech Bob did the install a few days later- Obviously not the first time he has done this.
It’s be a few months since it’s been installed and we are seeing about a $50.00 a month energy saving in the summer time and we are very comfortable in our master bedroom for the first time - True professionals all the way.

Dave w/Scottsdale Air stopped by for a check-up before the summer and did a fantastic job! I've had numerous other companies check the unit over the years, but Dave was the only person to notice that the air handler wasn't set properly and the airflow now blowing 2x the speed! We were very pleased with Scottsdale Air's service. They came out within 2 hours of our call. Determined the problem and fixed it. Robert was terrific. Explained what the issues were and discussed long term solutions without trying to sell me something I did not need.
When my AC went out I panicked. First, we called our home warranty people. AC worked for less than a day. In the middle of the summer I couldnt waste anymore time with the warranty people. I asked around and a friend gave me a contact at Scottsdale Air. Russ Byrum. Russ came by the same afternoon and climbed into my sweltering crawl space. He cleaned out a clogged pipe from my drip pan under my air handlers. He showed me the mud and sludge the warranty guy failed to clean. He also told me that unfortunately the fix would last awhile but that my units were old. They were. Most of my neighbors recently had to replace theirs. I made the decision to replace both of my ac units and Russ was helpful and very knowledgeable about the products that were available to me. I did my price comparisons and Scottsdale Air was fairly priced. Russ wasn't pushy - rather very patient and answered all my questions (I had a lot as this was a big purchase). The install was about a week later and went seamlessly. Russ followed up to make sure I was pleased with the service. I had questions about my new thermostats about a week later and again, Russ was helpful and patient.

We recently purchased our first home in August 2016. After running the AC all summer and having it work great, we were surprised when the heat didn't work - especially after our house had just passed with flying colors through two inspections prior to closing. Scottsdale Air came out to diagnose the situation. They found that the gas valve at the unit had been switched off but that was not all they included in their write up. They basically told us that the entire duct system was incorrect and needed to be replaced. They told us that the system was unsafe to operate until the repairs were made as it was a fire hazard. They wanted to send someone out to quote us for a massive repair.
Naturally, we called our realtor, home warranty company and the company that conducted both inspections. The home warranty company provided a full diagnosis of our unit and duct system and had complete opposite findings - we needed to replace filters and turn on the gas valve. Everything else was running extremely well and properly - including the duct system. The inspection company looked back at their notes and stated the exact same findings with regards to the heating and cooling unit. They ended their email to us with this:
Scottsdale Air’s writeup about problems with the heating and cooling system are false and an attempt to sell a new duct installation to the homeowner. The Scottsdale Air writeup stating: “Furnace is not safe to operate until all issues are resolved” is irresponsible.
My husband and I are appalled at the disgusting attempt to sell a new duct installation to someone who does not need a replacement whatsoever. If you are looking for a company that is going to give you honest reports and conduct their work with moral integrity... Scottsdale Air is NOT the company you want to work with.
Johnathon from Scottsdale Air did our spring service and was on time, respectful, friendly and very helpful. He helped me set up our I-phone to control our I-Comfort thermostats when away from home.

Mike Voirin was my salesman. He was awesome. I could not have asked for a better representative for your company. Professional, courteous, and direct. He listened to me and made my choice of my new air conditioner unit hassle-free and simple.
Now, I would like to extend my gratitude to the real reason your company is the best in the valley: Eddie and his coworker that helped with the install of our new A/C unit. They were on time, extremely friendly, tidy, and finished the job when promised.
I had APS come out today to verify our rebate offer. APS stated that Eddie's install was perfect and that no corners were cut. He also went on to say that Eddie's install was the best that he has ever seen. I really want Eddie (and his coworker) to receive their due credit. They were very professional and did their job very well. Please give them a raise! They deserve it!!

I have used Scottsdale Air for more than 10 years and have always been a happy customer. Dave is a great technician and communicates very well. And, he is a just a nice guy.
A competitor came out to troubleshoot my A/C twice last year. Each time they found things for me to buy, but never fixed the issue. Scottsdale air found the root cause in 5 minutes. And the repair was quick and cheaper than the other company. Highly recommend.
These folks are the best. They replaced the original A/C system in our house but not before they did a complete assessment of the insulation and original installation. There were gaps in the attic insulation. They took care of it. There was just a single inlet for the original system that meant it made a LOT of noise. They ran a second inlet and now it's quiet as a mouse. The original duct work was too narrow. They replaced it. We now have a dual speed compressor (more efficient) AND 4(!) wireless thermostats so the bedroom can stay nice and cool at night but we can leave the other 3 zones off. Saves money! Since the installation about 5 years ago, they've taken are of annual maintenance in the most professional manner. A+ for Scottsdale Air!
We live across the street from Scott, one of their Service managers, and he helped us decide to go with Scottsdale Air (after we got 3 other bids) Eric Johnson came over to talk to us, and as a sales person myself, I was prepared for the hard sell. Imagine my surprise, when he asked where the attic access was & got up in the attic and poked around, made notes, took pictures. I had an idea of what level of HVAC I wanted to go with (as cost was a concern). I had done my own research prior, & wasn't really interested in the high end stuff because I thought for sure I wouldn't get my money back. He did load calcs, listened to the concerns we had about hot spots, and went over equipment choices, available rebates, energy consumption (my biggest concern), helped me do cost comparisons, and answered every question I had. I have knowledge of the industry based on my career, and he was completely respectful of it. He spent a lot of time looking to solve the issues we had, without adding additional expense (which we thought would happen). He is very knowledgeable, and is a master at his job. He didn't oversell or try to upsell anything we weren't interested in. After listening to our concerns. he came up with some good ideas, which were implemented and so far, they are working out perfectly! With our old unit, we would have turn the volume up on the TV about 10 notches, every time it kicked on. Our new unit is so quiet, I have to go look and see if it's still running. The installers were great too. They were respectful to me, and to my home. They cleaned up and avoided messes if they could. They explained our new thermostat, and filter changing, the app for the Tstat (and I love apps and gadgets!) etc. I was very impressed. I'm 100% thrilled, and look forward to saving on my energy bill. Call Eric Johnson/Scottsdale Air, he's your man if you want a new energy efficient unit. (Scott's pretty cool too.)

It’s not often I am impressed enough to write a review about a service provider. When I needed expert advice about HVAC ducting for our room addition, I called Scottsdale Air. First, I spoke with Robin. When I wasn’t sure how to articulate information I was looking for, she somehow knew exactly what to ask me so I could further explain it. Within an hour, the owner, Mike, called me and offered to drop by to take a look at the layout of our addition. The next day, he spent nearly an hour at our house going over the plans, explaining how to determine which size HVAC system I needed and answering all of my questions – I had a lot! He explained what I needed to do to maximize efficiency of the system and showed me where to install all of the registers. I could not have done it without him and I was impressed with his knowledge and willingness to spend so much time helping me. That kind of service is hard to find these days! I highly recommend Scottsdale Air to anyone considering a new HVAC or needing help with repairs. FIVE STARS!
Mike's crew once again delivered above and beyond expectations. The new unit is not only off the roof, it's quieter, more efficient and works so much better. It's hard to describe something as simple as comfort, but that is the word I would use to describe our new HVAC equipment, the whole house is just comfortable and QUIET!

I recently bought a home that was built in 1979. The house desperately needed to be modernized and upgraded to today's energy efficient standards.
As I began to plan the renovation project I was referred to Scottsdale Air by one of their previous customers. I had them come out to consult with me on the best course of action for the existing air system in the house. Their recommendations were spot on with what needed to be done, and they even mentioned a few cost conscience options as well that made perfect sense. The Scottsdale Air team came in and completely reducted, and redesigned the air drop openings throughout the entire house. The full renovation is now completed, and the HVAC system is now far more efficient and effective than the old system, and we love it!
The Scottsdale Air team was highly skilled, professional, courteous, and left no mess or sign that they had even been in the house after thei work was complete.

Ever since they bought out the company that I bought my AC with the serviced it under warranty and always treated me like I bought it from them. The warranty ran out in 2013 I've continued to use them. They aren't the cheapest, but they will go the extra mile if there's an issue and not overcharge you then. I'd much rather have my company be the best instead of the cheapest, especially AC in Phoenix.

This is the best home contractor/repair company I’ve ever had. From start with a very patient and knowledgeable salesman, Steve, to the fabulous 5 man crew, the experience was so pleasant. If you need HVAC help for a remodel or new system, you need to call this company. They will customize it for you, not just sell you what they want to. And the crew is polite, wants to help YOU, all are cross trained and they work as a real team, cleanup is top notch.

When my heater wasn't working on a Friday morning I called 6 other companies in the area and the soonest they could do was Monday or Tuesday. Within two hours their tech Dave came to my condo, simple wiring fix. Within 20 minutes he had left. Great company! Ill be sure to spread the word.

I've used Scottsdale Air for 5 years and always been pleased with the quality of their work and with their professionalism. Their technician, Scott, did our most recent tune up and was excellent.
Courteous and friendly and reasonably priced. I have used Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling for years to maintain an HVAC A/C unit in a rental house in North Scottsdale. They are professional and are able to schedule preventive maintenance within a few days.
I've been using Scottsdale Air for some time now. Always easy to do business with, knowledgeable staff. I've used them for my business and home for my annual summer check up and when the systems failed. Good folks.

The only thing that saved this from being a 1 star review is the kindness and friendliness of the technicians themselves and the owner himself showing up to the first problem. To begin Russ - one of the salesmen - came to my home and measured for the installation of my new Unit. I was extremely explicit with the fact that i had concerns about the size of the unit going in and the space available. He assured me it would not be an issue. The day of the install comes and the installers also show some concern.. they called out Russ to work with them(who never approached me with the issue when i was there the entire time) and they shoved the thing in.. bent to hell.. the techs did a good job of mostly unbending it and getting into place.. but the box that holds the A-frame chiller was still leaking like sieve. Russ and the Owner, Mike, showed up to investigate after i told Russ i wasn't happy. Mike agreed it wasn't right, there solution was to put in a smaller less efficient coil(not exactly to my liking as i would have rather put in a completely different unit at that point).. the smaller coil meant i'd lose my power company rebate for SEER rating.. they did covered the rebate loss of out pocket. However, when i got the final invoice they have over charged me. Upon showing them they agreed to refund the difference but the entire process was not my best experience.
Once again, the team at Scottsdale Air came through big time for me. Called them at 10am today and they were at the house by 1pm. Completed the job at a very reasonable price. They are my go to people.
Have used various heating & cooling companies over the last 49 years and Scottsdale Air has been my go to company because of the fine workmanship. They are a quality shop. I ask for Scott. He is the best.
Steve was very good at providing us information on buying new units and also getting the installation done on time. We had a few issues with getting a roofer to expand the hole for the heating vent, but Steve stuck with it and made sure it got done.
Technician was polite and cooperative. Put on booties over his shoes. Two hour repair accomplished in time and cost was as advised. Have used Scottsdale Air for years and will continue to do so when needed.
I just purchased my second HVAC system from Scottsdale Air... As a Phoenician I've always found that you need to have the best HVAC system that you can afford when you live here year round. If you need the best hire the best & for HVAC that's Scottsdale Air... when they tell you that they can change your life trust them.
Awesome service! I especially, appreciated that there were no hidden charges or surprises that came up. My technician, Jerry, was very polite, well trained as well as extremely patient. We knew when we bought our house a couple of years ago that the HVAC unit (original to the house built in 1998) was on borrowed time. So, of course, the heater kicks the bucket on the one cold weekend we have here in Phoenix...and why not the same weekend as we have family in town from the polar-vortexed midwest?
Have no fear - Scottsdale Air is here! We called on Thursday afternoon and had a technician out (ON TIME) at 8:00 am the next day. Dave was professional, pleasant and HONEST about the most cost-effective way to move forward. We agreed it would be cheaper to just replace the whole thing and he had a sales rep at our house that afternoon. Russ Byrum (sales rep) is the most patient man on the planet. And smart. This guy knows his stuff. My husband and I are first time homebuyers and we had no idea what we were doing. Russ laid everything out for us and didn't try to oversell beyond our budget. This dude is a ROCK STAR and will not steer you wrong.
By Tuesday, we had the AMAZING install team at our house (Please note: they were ready to come out on Saturday, but we couldn't make it work on our end before that because of work. Russ even offered to bring out space heaters to our home so we didn't freeze over the weekend).
Picture this: our HVAC system is half-outside/half-in-an-attic-crawl-space-in-a-garage that doesn't look like a human being should be able to fit in there. I don't know anything about this stuff and even I could tell you this task looked impossible. But for Jaime and Eulogio (I hope I spelled that right)? No problem. They worked quickly, quietly and CLEANLY - wrapping the whole project in about seven hours. It was AMAZING. I cannot describe how much respect I have for these two guys. THANK YOU.
Bottom Line: while this is the first time I've had the opportunity to use this company's services, my uncle and parents have been using them for decades; now they've earned one more lifelong customer. If you're looking for reliable professionals with a great work ethic that install a great product (this Trane XR15 looks like a piece of art and performs like NASA built it), the Scottsdale Air team is who you need to call.
I had a 2 complete systems installed and they did a wonderful job, fairly priced and pleasant personnel. Since then the have returned for scheduled service and I can’t imagine using anyone else for my HVAC needs.

We were impressed with Hector. He has the ability to communicate which we appreciated. He suggested we consider replacing the 12 year old motor in order to avoid overheating and failure to function. We requested a quote on the cost which we received later the same day. We are glad that Hector will be making the installation. We presume this will extend the use of our equipment for some years to come.

I have always had a positive response to Scottsdale Air. Scott is my tech and always does an exceptional job. He genuinely cares about us and what is best service practices.
I replaced a 5 Ton unit and would highly recommend Scottsdale Heating and Air. The entire process from sale to installation was fair and transparent. Don't think twice about using Scottsdale Heating and Air.
Scottsdale A/C (Justin) serviced our a/c units (2) after we called to say they were noisier than they used to be... He investigated and figured out exactly what was happening and adjusted everything - This company will not leave you wondering - you will get professional service and every question answered!! I only wish I could give them 10 stars!!

First I will tell you that this was our second unit from this company. The first Trane unit lasted almost 18 years, this could not of been possible without the yearly checkup service the company provides. Our AC unit just stopped working on a Friday, we were up and running with our new unit on Monday morning. Did I mention one of the service pros worked a temporary fix to get us through the weekend. Great experience all around. Thank you.

We discovered a lot of water around the AC interior unit. I immediately called S'dale Air. They arrived within 3 hours. Scott, the technician, accessed the situation as a clogged condensate drain. With some extra effort, he was able to clear it out. Scott inspected the rest of the unit, communicated his findings in clear and understandable details. The inspection and problem was solved in approx. 45 minutes. I was very satisfied with the entire process... the initial phone call to completion!

Our A/C unit was acting up, of course it was the holiday weekend. Called and left a message. We received a return call, the technician told us it wasn't as bad as the A/C unit sounded. Excellent service. They use modern technology for scheduling and routing, and if they are running late, you are notified in advance. Service is thorough and freindly. Billing is electronic, and you can pre-pay for maintenance at a discounted rate.
They also installed my new Lennox, and arranged 0% financing. Great company. Highly recommended.
All around great service. Service technician was extremely experienced, professionally, courteous and respectful. Office staff was extremely pleasant to work with. Have referred them to neighbor's and will continue to call on them for all our heating and cooling needs.

While performing a routine cleaning of the pre-filter I noticed a wet area just below the condensation line within the systems enclosure and immediately called for a service tech. Jacob was able to assess the problem as a clogged drain and cleared it. He was very thorough and polite! Thank you Jacob! RK

I was an employee for 5 months and was wrongfully terminated on 8/4/17 after an unforeseen medical condition where a fire truck was dispatched to aide in my panic attack. I received a picture of a termination letter via txt 3 hours later. That's how I was notified.
Shopped around and decided to use Scottsdale Air. No regrets. Work done well and on time. Priced competitively. I can recommend them.

Great folks - getting warm here and had problems with one of the units. Eric was out a couple of hours later with a quick repair. Very responsive and always great service and nice folks.
They couldn't be bothered to make their scheduled appt. When they couldn't come 2 hours ahead of schedule, they sent the tech home and told me I was out of luck. Terrible customer service. Don't give them your business.
