Chris and Mike and the team did an A+ job for us. They gave us our options of replacing the entire unit ( with different models) or replacing the compressor, capicitor, etc, all the while explaining the pros and cons of our options. Very professional with no pressure to make one choice or the other. In a scam-ridden industry, full of charlatans and incompetent bozos, it's refreshing to work with a company you can trust.

It was so easy from start to finish on our new air conditioner unit, even with moving to a better spot on the roof. It was finished well ahead of schedule.

Be warned that I bought an $11,000 AC unit. After it was installed, I had to ask 5 times to get the invoice and Service Contract from them. I even had to get Home Depot involved as I used them because Home Depot recommended them.After finally receiving the service contract, they failed to put in the twice a year free Maintance Visit I was promised. I have called twice about this and have heard nothing.I’ll be contacting Better Business Bureau.

George was attentive, professional and completed our AC repair in a timely manner. Losing AC during an Arizona summer is never a good thing and George had a tech dispatched early the next morning after our after-hour call. We are very pleased with the service we received from this company and highly recommend them for all of your HVAC needs.

Cannot say enough good things about Comfort Experts! Have been dealing with Ryan for years. He has saved us on multiple occasions when the AC went out mid-summer. Finally bought a new unit this year and was very impressed with the professionalism of Ryan and his crew. Very honest and reliable.

we purchased a unit from them in October 2014.
the experience was great and the person that came out to the house was very knowledgeable.
he gave us three choices and he knew the differences between the units and was able to discuss
pro's and con's of all three units.
the price was very competitive and well explained.
on the day of installation things went very well considering the house was configured for a smaller unit.
there some small problems in the beginning but on each occasion a tech arrived in only a couple of hours. and was able to trouble shoot what happened and fix each problem.
since then the system has worked perfectly.
not only does the house cool very well now but I have saved some $100.00 a month in utility bills.
they also explained to the advantages of a second register and they were right on target
the house cools better and more evenly.
I also really like the computerized thermostat as I can program in the temp and it cools to that temp
without me having to adjust it. it even has a cool app for ones cell phone.
this is a great company made up of quality individuals that are knowledgeable and helpful.
I would recommend this company to anyone that needs an a/c unit or simply service on an existing unit.

Second time I called them, my AC unit wasn’t working and they immediately came out- after 5pm on a Saturday. All fixed and no up- charges. Walter was great! April 2023.
This was the first time I used Howard Air, as finding a reputable business can be difficult. I’m so glad I went with them, they are professional, explained the checkup on my unit, and the tech. didn’t rip me off by installing parts that weren’t necessary . I highly recommend Howard Air and will continue to use them.

Marcus was amazing! We had a CO alarm go off at 5am. After a leak was detected in the area of our furnace/hot water heater closet we called Adams. They had a tech, Marcus, out within 2 hours. He found the leak in the crawl space (exhaust pipe had become detached!) After some creativity refitting the pipe from the roof, he was able to shimmy all the way through our narrow eves by the roofline and reattach and clamp. We are so grateful for the fast response, perseverance with a difficult to reach location and positive and friendly professionalism. He even educated us on better detectors than we had. We are sleeping safe again and so appreciative of Marcus and the Adams Refrigeration Family!!

Preemptive tl;dr AccuTemp won't flood the airwaves with commercials, but there's no substitute for a reliable company that doesn't put the squeeze on your wallet. We've had them out a handful of times over the years, and this company has always been a fair dealer. They deserve your business. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Now the deets:

About a month ago over a weekend, our AC went out in a monsoon storm. Facing a sticky, sweaty night, we scheduled with the first company to answer the phone at midnight, which unfortunately wasn't AccuTemp, our usual standby. Turns out, answering the phones overnight is a poor way to judge reliability. That other company was evasive about when precisely they would be coming out (so much for 24/7 emergency service, too) and seemed to struggle with communication between technician and dispatch.

With morning giving way to afternoon, temps inside rising, and no work van in sight, we gave AccuTemp a jingle. Unlike the company that shall remain nameless, AccuTemp managed to give us an actual estimated time of arrival AND THEN beat that time by about an hour! Once here, the technician Brian was very friendly and helpful while explaining everything he was doing to fix the chain of issues plaguing our old unit. He got the AC up and running and didn't break the bank doing so. Here I am a month later with an AC that is chilly as ever!

Scott has provided great customer service for a lot of people in my network. After hearing them rave about his work, I felt comfortable choosing him as my HVAC tech. He did not dissappoint! If you want integrity, knowledge and quality work for a great price Scott is your man!

Phil did an excellent job. He spent all day installing our new HVAC system. He was also personable and patient in answering questions and explaining everything about it.

I had a great experience with Jashua at Arizona Valley Heating and Cooling. First, he was on time, had great communication skills though the whole process and good follow up. It’s rare these days you find someone who has good customer service skills but he was great! We had a situation with our awful home warranty company, Home Choice Warranty where they first referred us to a guy who told us we needed a new air handler because it was our fault for neglecting the maintenance on it. Not true at all. Fought with them for a good while then they recommended a 3rd company to come out and that was Jashua at Arizona Valley Heating and Cooling. He checked things over and it turns out as we knew it would we didn’t need the whole AC replaced but needed indoor coil and pan replaced. Anyways, he did the job and the headache is gone and I would recommend Jashua for any honest, dependable AC jobs.

I contacted A-Rated AC after another company said my unit could not be repaired and I needed a new AC unit, so I wanted a second opinion. A-Rated AC came out promptly and informed me that it could be repaired. They returned the next morning, and got me back up and running! All within 24 hours. I really appreciate the service and very fair price.
