We’ve used Penguin Air for a year now. First time was about a year ago when our AC quit. Called several AC repair companies across the area, Penguin was the first to get back to us. Just had them out again today. We had the service tech Nathan both times. He was great. He let us know what we needed at the moment and what we could wait on. He didn’t try to push anything. We will be requesting him next time we need any AC maintenance.

A big shoutout to Melissa for being so courteous on the phone and scheduling our repair so fast. She was very pleasant to speak with and got us on the calendar FAST. Highly recommend!

Had a problem with my HVAC system and received a text shortly after leaving a message. Jeremy called me and arrived shortly thereafter. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to repair it. More importantly he was polite, knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to communicate with. He explained the problem in understandable detail. He also spent the time to program the new thermostat I decided to purchase. 5 out of 5 STARS!!!

We had a leak in our water heater. Ace home service was the only one that would come out same day. Only issue we had was they picked up an electric water heater and not gas. Delayed install about an hour or so. Tyree was a very nice young man’s and very professional.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! My air conditioning hasn't been working and I have already had 3 different people come from this company to fix it. They take advantage of you. Especially since I'm a woman they think I don't know what is going on! Do not recommend! I've had to come off of work three different times and still hasn't been fixed. I don't trust them

Jimmy and his team are the best. Installed new Trane 5 ton unit. Best price in town and the installation team is fast and very professional. Don't use the big HVAC companies they will charge you too much and for things you don't need. Call these guys they will take great care of you

I had a number of concerns about my AC system after a home inspector tagged a few different areas of concern. Preferred Air had every opportunity to find a bunch of problems and charge me for each, but the contractor spent close to an hour crawling around my attic, taking photos, testing the drip lines, checking all my vents etc only to tell me everything looks fine and recommend regular maintenance in the spring. The assessment was affordable and I felt the contractor was honest and genuine. He answered all my questions, showed me photos and examples, and gave me a full range of options. He gave me prices for maintenance and future, non-urgent repairs and encouraged me to focus on other areas of the house before worrying about the HVAC. I will definitely return as a customer.

Call was made to service department around noon and had a tech at my house within 5 hours same day. Tech was very knowledgeable and friendly and didn't try and sell me anything. Took the time to explain to me the problem and said he would report his findings back to the office. So far working with the Howard Air company has truly impressed me. Update Howard Air installed two new A/C units yesterday 6/12/20 in our home. A could not believe how professional and extremely courteous the installation team was. The four of them moved thru out the process in harmony where each knew what the other needed and made the install look like a well practiced dance step for step. Kudos to the installers John , Joe , Pat and Alonso for simply a outstanding job. Again would highly rate this A/C company for your cooling and heating needs.

UPDATE: They refunded me.

The service tech didn't check heat pump refrigerant levels or the capacitor but immediately said the compressor needed replacing. It did not; only the capacitor needed replacing.
They ordered a new compressor, but it hadn't arrived for weeks, so I told them I no longer needed it and asked for a refund. They said they'd review my case, but for weeks they didn't get back to me.
Service tech even joked about charging almost $200 to replace a fuse on a Saturday!

Pro Skill replaced both of my air conditioning units the service from start to finish was above and beyond perfection . I got estimates from several companies and this was the one I chose based on the initial consultation with one of the owners. He had solutions to our hot spot issues and seemed more knowledgeable than any of the other companies. I initially wanted a Trane unit and due to supply issues we ended up going with a BOSCH unit. Very pleased with it so far. Highly recommend this company if you are looking for a new AC unit!

I had a great experience with this company. I found out about it at a home show. My house is about 19 years old and had some issues, especially in keeping the upstairs cool in the summer. As an engineer, what I liked about this company was that they came out, took measurements and pictures, and discussed the results with me in detail. After visiting my house, there was a follow-up visit with recommended improvements. Again, I discussed this with the sales rep in detail. There was no hard selling involved. In fact, I did not go with the full set of recommendations, just the set of items that I thought I would get the most benefit from.

Additionally, the fact that APS covers some of the cost via rebates, was helpful in my situation. The company sent out a crew of 4 people that were able to get the work done in one long day. Immediately the following week, my house felt much more uniform in terms of the temperatures. It was also much quieter as well as the AC did not kick on with nearly the frequency it had the week before.

The air conditioners are more quiet when running as well. I am not sure if this is due to more insulation assisting with the noise, or if the improvements to the intake of the units that I made allowed them to breath easier. Both of my units, the upstairs and down, had issues that were causing them to pull in quite a bit of intake directly from my attic (not good). I am looking forward to my first summer in 19 years where I have a good shot at having a home cooling system that will operate as designed.

This service is valuable as most builders really just build to the minimum code requires rather than having an interest in what your electric bill is 6 months after you move in. I would gladly do this in any future home, not only for the savings, but for the comfort factor as well.

Honest business great experience.

They always take great care of our needs. we needed a new blower motor for one of our exhaust units. They came out right away and figured out what was wrong, had the motor ordered overnight and installed it the next day.. Thanks Guys for all you do to keep our heating and A/C up and running.
