Our 14 month gas water heater was not working. The pilot light could not stay lit. We have a maintenance contract with Penguin Air, who came out same day. The technician was on the phone for over 30 minutes trying to figure out where the faulty unit was purchased and perhaps get parts. When all failed, he gave us an excellent price on a new, larger water heater, had to move the water lines to fit it in, and we had hot water the SAME DAY. This work started late afternoon and didn't end until 7PM. He and his assistant were professional, thorough, clean, and did excellent work. We highly recommend them!

What can I say? I adore this company. I'm a hard customer to impress but each and every time this company exceeds every expectation. Full disclosure---I love aliens so I am partial to any company that has alien in its name, but they are the real deal (as are aliens by the way.) This company is amazing.

Stuart has serviced our home for the past 7 years and has been absolutely amazing. Always very quick to diagnose any of our concerns. Incredibly personable and a joy to have over whenever we have HVAC concerns. Would recommend this man and his abilities to everyone. Great work and we appreciate you very much. I’ve never realized how dishonest a once thought to be reliable company could be! Had a Parker and Sons tech come out to my house to repair our air conditioner. I was outside with my grandchildren when the tech who was on the roof looks over at me and says, “oh no, looks like the evap coils. There are very large leaks throughout.” He then spoke to me and my husband and quoted us $6600 to replace the coils. That didn’t seem right to me. I asked about just replacing the unit. He quoted me no less than $18000! He had me fill out an application for financing since we don’t have that type of money, causing a ding on our credit reports. He then asked us to sign up for their service plan which is $14.00/mo. I will be canceling this Monday. After he left I called another company referred to me by a family member. He came out and had my air fixed in 30 mins by replacing the capacitor for $180. I am so disappointed in Parker and Sons. I will be posting my experience on all social platforms, calling 3 on your side, Joe knows, and letting all my friends know about the dishonesty we experienced.

Alliance Plumbing was in my apartment complex making some repairs today, and as the workers were leaving, a young man named Tory saw me struggling to carry a bookcase by myself - I was making it a few feet before having to stop, then another few feet, stop, etc. He was nice enough to offer to carry it, and took it all the way up the stairs to my second floor apartment. He was super gracious about the whole thing, and you just don't meet a lot of people who are willing to go out of their way to help a stranger out like that... He didn't ask for this review either, I felt compelled to make it.

Our experience with Pro-Tec refrigeration was terrible. We hired them to fix a commercial freezer, that was operating, but wouldn't reach sub-zero temps. After their tech worked on it, the unit would no longer reach temps below the high 30's rendering it completely unusable. I contacted the office the next day (Sat.) and was promised that a technician would be at our place of business first thing Tuesday morning. No one showed up and we have been unable to get a return call. However, Pro Tec did charge our credit card over $1200. We were never given an invoice, any supporting docs or shown any old parts. I called another company and their tech was out the following day and completed the original repair, but also repaired the damage apparently caused by the Pro Tec (which is why it would no longer reach freezing temps after his 'repair'). I understand that people make mistakes, but Pro-Tec's complete lack of customer support and follow through, after the sale, is completely inexcusable in my book.

The work was not done at my house but at friends and saw the progress. In the beginning they were nice but as items thebut once the job started it was different. The bathroom remodeling issues, the tile in the shower has cracked, the shower head is to low not for average person height, the towel rack n toilet paper holder has had to be replaced since what they installed fell out. The ac and duct work after installed the house was warmer on one side trying to get them put was a process in itself but each time they came they said everything is fine n was trying to upsell nsaying they need an additional unit. They had another company cone out and was told the wrong installation was installed, duct wrong was incorrect. I would not recommend this company at all and would give negative stars if possible.
