The most difficult thing about owning a home is finding a contractor that's reliable and honest. After I met steven to do some work on my counter tops in my kitchen, I've never been so happier with the results and how simple the process was. I didnt hear any uhhhs or well I dont know, it was boom! This is the price, this is the work that will be finished. I also was freaking out about an electrical issue and asked if he knew somebody that would be able to fix it, he asked what was happening and said I got you and fixed it without breaking my pockets. Steven and his team are all around great gentlemen! Thank you for making everything simple!

I've been a landlord since 2009 and had my fair share of experiences with various service companies and technicians. I hope that anyone that reads this review trusts me when I say that Response Crew and Hugo, the technician that arrived to complete the task, are, by far, the best I had the pleasure to work with!

I needed to install a chandelier from a 12 feet ceiling in my apartment.
Fortunately for me they were able to schedule me the same day and within 35 minutes Hugo showed up. He wore a mask and got straight to business.
Hugo informed me of every step he made and showed me that the junction box that was initially placed in the ceiling by a certified electrician wasn't even the proper box. Hugo ended up having to cut through the dry wall to replace the box so it could accommodate the chandelier.
Not only did Hugo install the chandelier - he ended up also doing drywall patching and painting and he did an amazing and outstanding job!!
If you wonder about the price - I thought I am going to be charged quite a bit due to the unforeseen drywall repair and replacing the electrical box yet for all the work that Hugo did, it was honestly the fairest invoice I ever received.
I highly recommend Response Crew and I am certain that I will hire them for most of my future projects.

These guys are the best! We have not had a job they can’t handle they do high quality work and are extremely professional. They work by the hour but are fast and efficient. They might cost a little more but it is worth it! You won’t be disappointed.

Greg is a rip off artist. He charges extreme amounts to fix things. He won't provide bids he just does the work and sticks you with the bill. Please don't use him, he will rip you off.

Our experience with Kitchen Tune Up was ok, but would not recommend to anyone. Justin was our initial contact and he was amazing! Our issues with our kitchen countertop installs were: 1 - the waterfall edges were not matched up according to the directions I gave ( wanted the left side matched, they matched up the right side - and it's obvious). Pointed this out in email and text - no one acknowledged the problem, proposed a solution, etc. I should have probably pushed the issue and made them re-do the entire island...but I wasn't up to it at the time. 2 - the corbels for our extended island were not installed with the countertop install. I had to point out they didn't get installed and only then did Garth come to see the work. The fix? Extend the wall underneath the counter a few inches and put corbels in. So it works - but messes up the dimensions under our island where we may put cabinetry and beverage fridge at some point. Worst part of this issue is no one even acknowledged yup, we missed it. We are so sorry. They did offer a fix but no acknowledgement of the mistake. 3 - No one from kitchen tune up stays on site to oversee the work of the subs, to make sure all is going according to plans, etc. Other Kitchen Tune Up franchises have representatives stay on site during the work. Seems like the contractor should have been around, checked on the finished work, etc. 4 - you as the client better know exactly what you want. For example, there is no discussion about how far over you want the countertops to hang. They just assume 1 1/2 is whatever wants and that's what is installed. I didn't realize how off that looks - for me it's just too much. Especially on the island as the waterfall edge hangs over the cabinets almost 2. For what I paid, not what I wanted. But this is not my expertise or area of knowledge and I guess I had hoped for some assistance in the process. So unless you ask all.the.questions. they won't be assisting you in options available. I think I could have saved money by just hiring my own subs and supervising the work myself.

They are honest, reliable and so hardworking. Did an amazing job. If you are looking for someone trustworthy that does what they day they will. Hire these guys!
