Best Air Conditioner Replacements in Phoenix AZ

Our air-conditioning went out last summer. We had temporary fix. Had 4 bids Expert HVAC had best price. Our neighbor recommended them.

They came out explained what they were doing and got to work. They are the nicest group of guys. They tested everything and showed us how it works. Our ducts were a mess they fixed all of them now heating, and air is evenly distributed through the house.
We are so pleased with their work highly recommend them.

1st Choice came out yesterday to do our yearly complimentary AC check up ! We had a new AC system installed be them 2 and 1/2 years ago and they have excelled in every aspect ! Best HVAC company ever! Technician Manny Did a grate ob inspecting our AC unit! Replaced our filter! CH

I've never done business with this company... I'm not even from Arizona. But I saw that they discreetly donated a large sum of money on GoFundMe to the family of a child who lost their life in the recent shooting in Uvalde. This is a organization run by good people - I wouldn't hesitate to use their services.

Family Owned. Smaller office - friendly voices. The techs are paid by the hour not commissions - that helped knowing I wasn't being recommended unnecessary repairs. Me and a few of my neighbors have signed up for their yearly service agreement. Great folks!

Arrived arbout time estimated, worked steady, answered question , friendly , and dogs even got a little attention.which makes experience nicer

The technician who serviced my house did a great job but the guy who came out after to look at my unit was a very pushy salesman (who insisted he wasn’t a salesman, you know the type). He told me I needed a $10,000 system replacement, but I thought that was extreme. I had a family friend recommend someone who came out and let me know that was a crazy overreaction and that all I needed was more refrigerant and my system would be good for the year. Had I just trusted this company I would’ve bought an expensive whole system in the middle of summer rather than maintain my existing unit for longer. Very dodgy business practice and I would not recommend them to someone else, but if you do use them make sure you get another quote from another company at the very least.

They guys from Comfort One Air Conditioning came out to tune up our 2 older units. They were on time and very professional.

They discovered one unit was low on coolant and filled it up. The other unit needed a capacitor. They fixed it all and assured me that these 25 year old units would make it through the summer.

After I decided to replace my old AC system for a new energy efficient unit, I contacted four HVAC companies in the Phoenix area for estimates. I got four very different estimates, with varying degrees of extras. Sun Tech's estimate was 2nd highest, and the reason I selected them was the technician (Steven) who came out was very personable and knowledgeable about air conditioning. He answered all my questions (even the weird ones!) and when he left, I felt like I knew everything I needed to know regarding my options.

Once we sealed the deal, they scheduled the installation date within just a couple of days (very prompt!). On the morning of the install, they (Steven and his helper?) arrived on time and ready to get to work on it. The crane was there right on time and the new unit was carefully raised and placed on the roof. Everything - smooth as butter.

Now the reason I only gave 4 stars instead of 5... Steven, who I had been dealing with (from the initial estimate) left after the unit was on the roof, telling me that the helper guy (I'm sorry, I dont remember his name) would be finishing up the job from there. I was surprised - obviously I assumed he would be there until it was finished. I was not too happy about that, but figured he'd be back later to check on things. Nope, didn't come back.

After the helper was finished, he came down from the roof and came inside the house to hook up the thermostat. Apparently the thermostat he brought needed a C-wire, which he didnt have, so it couldn't be installed (he didn't have have any on his truck?). So he has to leave and run to Home Depot (or maybe somewhere else, I'm not sure) and buy a new thermostat that didnt require the C-wire. He came back with another thermostat, looked nice, had all the same bells and whistles as the first one, so he hooked that one up. Then, he spent the next 90 minutes trying to figure out how to program it. He called his office at the end and told them he couldn't do it and Steven would need to come out and do it.

Steven was apparently not given that message, because he never called me to ask about it. But it didn't matter it turns out, because I programmed it myself after the helper left.

So at this point - I assumed either Steven or Jason (the Field Supervisor) would come out to inspect the work done and make sure everything was completed and up to par. Still, nobody came. So, that was my only real disappointment - that I have to assume all the work was done right because nobody came out and inspected it before giving it the thumbs up. I hope it was...

I used Acadia air to install my AC and heating unit. They are reliable and did a professional job and they come and maintain it as per recommended. I am very happy with them. They are very dependable and do professional work.

We had an undesirable experience with Parker & Sons in the past, but thought we'd give them another chance installing a water softener to our home. Brett and Andy showed up precisely on time. They were very professional and courteous. Their work trucks were spotless inside / out. They prepped the work area, installed the unit, cleaned the work area and provided new user and general maintenance training to my wife and I. Both are stand-up guys, obviously very proud of what they do. My wife and I are glad Brett and Andy made sure everything turned out the way it did.

Mountainside Air is the best HVAC company in Arizona. They are trustworthy, curious and kind. They do what they say. They are always helping other people. When your gut says you can trust them, your gut does not lie.

Derek was extremely helpful and got the job done quickly. He was quick to respond, figured out the problem and got it fixed. Best HVAC person I've used so far. I wish I had him for my projects previously.

This company is outstanding. They have integrity and are always looking to the best interest of their customer. They are not about sales, they are about service. A great owner and crew. You can trust them! I will always refer any AC needs to this company. Rare to find a business you believe in 100 percent!

Ulises installed minisplits in three rooms for us. He went the extra mile to find equipment given supply chain issues, and also to do things like paint the line set covers prior to installing them. He is very responsive and does great work. We'd hire him again in a heart beat.

I truly felt the advice I was given as a homeowner was authentic and reliable due to their industry knowledge of heating and cooling systems. I will definitely be using their services for any future needs. I highly recommend their services to anyone.

This is the best air company I've ever worked with. My air went out on a day the high was over 120. I called Frozen Air pretty much thinking I needed a new unit due to how old it looked to me. Frozen Air was at my house same day and magically had the parts to have my air running Cold and Strong. I strongly recommend Frozen Air for your A/C needs. Especially if your in a pinch.

William is great! I have had him at my home over the past  few years and he clearly explains what the problem is, ways to fix it and what to do to avoid him coming back out.

The tech Justin was great, he was on time, very professional and took the time to explain things I could do now to improve my system and things I should prepare for as summer approaches.
