We have brand new Nest thermostats that were extremely difficult to set up. I called Goliath Mechanical because we have a Service Agreement with them. They were prompt, on point , and supportive in getting the settings just right for us. This was the best air conditioning team in all of Arizona!!

I had George Brazil come out because our AC temp was not reaching the targeted temp over the weekend. They came out and told us that the unit needed to be replaced. It was older and gave us a quote for 12.5k for a new 5 ton system. I asked what brand and the tech informed me it’s whatever they had on hand. I told them I would call back. I got a second HVAC company to give a second opinion on pricing and we didn’t need a new unit! George Brazil never went into our attic to see the air handler door was not on and it was pulling hot air from the attic. Once the door was placed on Voila our house was cold again! We inquired about replacing the unit because we want something energy efficient and we were quoted a 5 ton Trane 2 stage unit for 10.5k! Huge difference with better quality. Don’t trust George Brazil, these guys can’t be trusted if they can’t do a simple job and want to sell you something you don’t need.

Stephen showed up as scheduled, looked proper, used booties to walk in and asked about the issue. He then went on the roof to access the damaged equipment, removed it, told me the plan to get it serviced and advised me he’d call when it was corrected and ready for reinstall.

My AC Unit went out unexpectedly late on Friday night. I called various places Saturday as soon as I got home from work but many were closed and the after hour ones were very pricey. Then I stumbled on Aguilar A/C & Heating. It's a shame they wernt toward the top of the list in my search for nearby A/C repair because it was already evening by the time I found them. Daniel came out within an hr and a half of calling him, inspected the A/C Unit and was able to replace the component that had broken. He gave me tidbits of things to look out for with it and everything took 20 minutes tops. We first met Chuck at the Home Show in Scottsdale on Oct 15th. We took some information on the company and continued on our way. The next week we called Five Star Air and another company to come out to look at our units - they are 16 years old, one the heater had already gone out and wasn't sure about the other unit (we just bought the home 7 months ago), so we suspected we needed to replace them. Chuck came out to look at our poor units and give us a quote to replace them - he was friendly, courteous and honest. We decided to go with Five Star Air because their quote was lower than the other company for the same exact units. The customer service when you call the office is at the same level, friendly, courteous, and very helpful. On Nov 2nd, Tony, Ashley and Sal (I think, sorry if I got the name wrong) came to install our new units. We have a flat roof home, so of course the units are located on the roof. They were great!!! Very friendly, professional, courteous, explained things and made sure things were working before they left. Within two weeks from our first contact with Five Star Air, we had two brand new units installed. That is service!! We are thinking of adding air conditioning to the garage and we will definitely be using them. You cannot go wrong with this company, their prices are good and the people are great.
