I had an excellent experience with Hobaica last summer when my AC went out. They did a fantastic job explaining my options and eventually installing a new machine, so today I called them for a plumbing issue - a suspected leak. Travis Vonau did a great job communicating what the problem was and fixing it quickly... but then he went above and beyond and took a few minutes to check out (and fix) an electrical concern I had. Amazing service!

This is the first time we have used Sun Devil Heating and cooling. We first called for service on a 1994 Trane unit, it had a leak, the technician found the leak, tried to add Freon but it kept leaking out,. He gave us the cost to fix and cost for new unit. Tech did a great job. We checked around, and found the price to be very competitive. We agreed to a new unit, the install was scheduled, rescheduled when no one showed up (we were not called), the crew showed up two plus hours late to install. My only concern on install was that the tech did a terrible job insulating the outside line, and left a mess at the site. The inside air handler has about 2 inches of tape connecting the air handler and ductwork, I was told the shop does their own fabrication for installs, I guess that's what I expected. The crew did not bring the new thermostat promised, so that came the next day several hours after scheduled (no call). I was just leaving when the tech drove up. Chris at Alien Air was fair and honest. My roof A/C was replaced without any problems, the crew got to my place at 6 am and was done in 3 hours. The employees were extremely professional and answered all my questions. I was very surprised to have such honesty from a company. Chris decided I didn't need any ductwork and saved me $1100. Preferred Air became our preferred provider of AC services. They helped keep our old system running as long as possible. When it finally went out, they lended us portable AC units while we located the right unit. Installation took only a half day. The staff was competent, friendly, and fast. When we had questions, the owner is always eager to help. The one year maintenance check was smooth and gave us continued confidence that Preferred Air was the right choice for our home. Shaun is a fantastic repairman and representative for Howard Air. He checked all systems, answered numerous questions, changed the filters and clarified much information. I wish everyone understood what the word 'customer service' means like Shaun does. He is knowledgeable, cs oriented, kind, pleasant, and hard working.

Zeke is very knowledgeable and presents the facts based on his professional training through TRANE; not an opinion or partial untruth. He became our 2nd consultation and maintenance service techician because the first tech from Merlin's AC & Plumbing presented such obscure and ridiculous results of his findings.
So, any individual who reads this review, my advice is do not always believe a certified AC company or technician no matter how nice and friendly they present themselves and that their advice or professional opinions are really truth and facts.

From the first appointment with this company to yesterday when they installed our new AC and air vent, our experience has been nothing less than top notch. I engaged Certify HVAC to re-route my clothes dryer vent. Ulises understood exactly what to do, and even improved on the idea. Two days before the vent work was scheduled, my AC stopped working. Ulises came a day early, and identified what the AC problems were, and repaired everything. He also solved a long-time problem with wiring to the Nest thermostat.The next day the vent project was completed nicely right on schedule. Ulises is a great listener, problem solver, trustworthy and keeps to his word.

Horrible!
Not only did he lie to us about our air conditioner , he sold us a maintenance policy for several hundred dollars. Then came back when his repair failed, and told us our unit was not able to be repaired.
One week later, we had some one else come out who fixed our unit for $80.00!!! I called him and told him about the repair, he said nothing.
One year later, he call us back like nothing happened.
This company lies and scams, do not use!
The owner himself came out , also lied about how many employees he had, and about his company in general

My breaker was faulty and causing my unit to not have power. I googled an electrician, they were the first to come up so I called to see if they can handle it. Tommy was responsive and sent me his cell phone number right away so I can send him a video of the damage and he can figure out a quote. He did within a few minutes, he shot me a quote of parts and labor and upon agreement he was at my location within less than 20 minutes and repaired the breaker switch. He came in with permission and ensured all appliances were functional. He was personable, fast and my favorite no hassle just down to business. Thanks Tommy
