Keith Cooper was my tech. He was awesome from start to finish! Arrived on time, gave me a realistic estimate, answered all my questions, helped me apply for financing, and was just a generally nice guy. I had a new water heater installed on the same day as the estimate. I won’t hesitate to call Tipping Hat if I have any more plumbing issues.

Vaughn arrived on time and was able to promptly address all concerns. Price range was communicated up front and did not include any surprise charges at the end. Highly recommend!

I called Roto Rooter for a service technician to come out and evaluate a clogged kitchen sink. John Greenleaf showed up on the same day and provided a very competitive price quote for performing the service. John was very nice and professional and explained everything he was doing which was nice to observe and listen to. While I would want John to service this in the future I did feel bad as he was dispatched from over an 1 1/2 hr drive away. That fact didn’t impact his mood or demeanor one bit though.

My wife and I used them before, they do good work. Their prices are getting a little high though.

We experienced a leak which was causing significant damage to our kitchen floor and garage celing and walls. I contacted other plumbing services I knew about and was given anywhere between a 2-4 week response time. I was able to find A Better Plumber and they came the next day. Beau, the plumber, was couteous, professional, knowledgeable, and worked quickly to resolve our issue. He explained what the problem was (which was different than my wife and I thought) and explained how he would repair the problem. Beau did an outstanding job, and both my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the service we received. If we have another problem, A Better Plumber will be my first choice.

Great guys that do a great job for more than a great price! These guys are awesome because they know what they're doing and they are extremely fairly priced! When they came out to service our kitchen sink they didn't need to do as much work as I would have thought, but not only did they fix the problem it only cost me $50!! Plumbers are so far from cheap to even come for a service call, but these guys are great at what they do, are more than fair on pricing, and good honest guys. I would recommend them to everyone I know and plan on using their services as long as they're in business!! Thanks again guys!!

I have had two different guys come out from this company Jason and Anthony for my furnace and my electric. Both were extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond in my opinion to make sure I got what I needed from them and their company. Very satisfied and happy!!

Summary: Elite was unable to unclog our toilet and replaced it instead - but did so improperly.  We were left with a heavy leak and an improperly sealed and rocking toilet. They were unresponsive when we tried to have them come out and fix it so we had to pay another company to fix their faulty work and had to partially refund an Airbnb guest for the inconvenience they caused. We understand that mistakes happen and have asked for a refund but they seem disinterested and haven't even bothered to call us back (as of 25 March 2023).

Details: We had Elite Rooter out to clear a toilet that was clogged by a guest at our Airbnb. The technician was friendly and tried hard to unclog it but said an object was lodged deep inside so the toilet needed to be replaced entirely.  We had new guests arriving within a few hours so we authorized the $599 replacement in hopes the problem would be resolved quickly.  However, after the toilet was installed and the technician left we found that the toilet water valve was still turned off and when we turned it on the shark bite connection began leaking very heavily (soaking an entire bath towel in a couple minutes).  Clearly the technician hadn't confirmed everything was functioning properly before he left.

The technician returned but didn't have the correct tool (a pex crimper) to fix the problem.  He called a different technician who had the tool and assured us he would be out to fix it by 9am the following morning. This now meant that our guests would be inconvenienced by having one toilet (of two toilets in the property)broken and a service call to deal with, but we agreed based on the promise they'd be there by 9am and this would be over with.  When we called that evening to confirm, the receptionist didn't know anything about the situation and said she would have the technician call us.  We did not receive a call from the technician, so we called again at 7:30 the following morning but the receptionist (a new one) again did not know anything about the situation and could not confirm that the plumber would be there at 9am, simply stating that the technicians manage their own schedules. She offered to make a new appointment window but failed to address the fact that our guests' expectations were based on Elite's promise of a 9am resolution.

Feeling that Elite was either too disorganized or too uncaring to reliably complete their own unfinished work without further inconveniencing our guests, we called High Five plumbing who had a technician out within a couple of hours, at the exact time they promised.  High Five discovered that not only was the shark bite connection leaking, but the newly-installed toilet was improperly sealed and rocking badly (we have used High Five many times and trust the competence and honesty of their plumbers a great deal).  After paying High Five to fix Elite's work and partialy refunding our guests for the inconvenience caused, we were out more than double what we originally paid Elite.

When we called Elite for a refund they were disinterested and said they would call us back but never did.  I called again today and was told that management put a note in the system saying that we would not be refunded because the leak was a pre-existing issue! We also plan to lodge a BBB complaint, but understand communication within a company can be difficult, so we're holding out for a week in hopes that Elite will demonstrate some concern for customer service and contact us for a resolution.  If they do, I will amend this review.

I can not say enough bad things about this company. The day before Easter they came to snake my main drain. They didn't look for my cleanout and said they would have to go through the toilet. The toilet R&R would be $150 extra. They pulled the toilet and their machine would not work. They said they would be back the next morning. Easter morning. They did not bother to replace the toilet or plug the sewer line. The next morning the sewage backed up through the unplugged drain. The repair cost was a little over $100,000.00 to my finished basement. They then lied to my insurance company saying they showed up after the backup, THEY CAUSED. DO NOT USE MR. ROOTER AND TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO USE THEM.

Mark was amazing. He was able to install a new water spicket to the back of my house by tapping in through the bathroom plumbing. I will definitely use him again.

I just wanted you to know what a great experience I had with your company both in the office and field. I called about 5.30 pm on a Friday night with a main sewer line back up and was told that you could have someone to my home within the hour. Dean arrived at 6.00 and from the moment he got there he was the most professional, courteous and all around great guy. He went to work cleared our sewer line and also cleaned up all of the mess in about an hour and a half so we could continue with our evening. What a fantastic way to do business.
