Having a gas leak was not something I had on my bucket list. However, it led me to these guys! While it was extremely stressful, they answered ALL my questions (regardless of how many times I asked the same thing, ha!) and they shifted their work to get to my house ASAP. After assessing the situation, they started bright and early the very next day. They were very professional, clearly communicated next steps and prompt throughout the duration of the project. By the time the work concluded, I was sad to see them go! They made sure I was all set prior to completing the work, and I felt like they genuinely cared about my home and well being. I would, hands down, refer Tribeca to family and friends in the area. I now have my trusted plumbers should another need arise. Thanks, guys!

Called to ask about installing a gas log fireplace insert. Was quoted $99 for the first 30 minutes and $50 each additional 30 minutes. No estimate of the amount of time it would take. This is just the labor fee. Sounds like gouging to me. Will not be using them.

Zack showed up on time and listened to the main concern that I had with my heating system before getting started. He was able to diagnose the issue then expertly explained what was wrong and what he did to fix it. My experience with some other companies, that is the point where they would have come up with some $4000 part that would fix the problem that it took a few minutes and no extra parts to fix. I really appreciate Zack's professionalism, and as I said to him, I appreciate the fact that he's good at what he does. This is my second time using Baker Brothers for HVAC service and I'll definitely use them again.

I had used Flow Plumbing (Metroplex Leak.....) for a major foundation water leak in Feb of 2011 and were very pleased with their work. The next time we needed a plumber was July 2012 and in our mind the only one to call was Flow Plumbing. It did take a couple of business days to be able to come out as they were booked but they were worth the wait. Their price was fair, were very professional, speedy, and fixed the problem the first time. I would highly recommend them the next time you need a plumber.

As we needed a gas line for outdoor kitchen, I approached Reliable Sewer/Drain and their technician, Curtis, came within a day. I explained about the grill that we have ordered, where the concrete will poured and the length and width of the grill (from Costco) and they gave a quote of $2.8K to run a ten foot line from existing gas pipe to the grill location. As I didn't want to take any risk with independent contractors, I went ahead with their services they finished the work with in 3 days (including city permission) and I was super impressive. However, as soon as we installed the grill, the flame on first burner was very small and same with other couple of burners. I sensed something wrong and requested them to visit and in the two minutes, the same technician said there is not enough gas pressure (not even for a small stove) and that we have to go with a new line and for that I will have to spend another $4K. That was shocking not because of this new $4K but because I spent another $10K in the side yard with new irrigation line, pavers and re-installed few other things after they installed the first line. Now they want to dig everything and the response is unimaginable. I don't want to blame anyone for choosing this business but I am ashamed of myself in trusting them. Lesson learnt.Note: This is my very first online review of any sort of business. So, you can think the pain I went through.

Chris and his crew have done work for us and our real estate clients for years. Never met a more professional and detailed minded person and all the people he has working for him too. We have had super minor jobs done by them and very major too and always been pleased. They totally renovated my master bath shower and I love it more every time I walk in there. I called them out for a gas leak I had been told I had by Atmos. They came out and responded pretty quickly and were nice.However, without even checking for leaks it was recommended my entire gas lines needed replacing for $9,400.I asked about testing for a leak and they told me the test will be expensive ($900) and was unnecessary because it is just going to tell them what they already know and that is I need a completely new system. In my mind I’m thinking if I’m going to spend the $9400 you say it’s going to cost for new lines, I’m going to need a little more convincing evidence.So I called around and went with another plumber recommended by friends. The leak test was less than a quarter of what Koen quoted and they didn’t even try to tell me what was wrong or give me an estimate until they were done with their leak test.Though the repairs were time and labor intensive, the entire system did not need to be replaced as was recommended by Koen.I hate to give a local business such a terrible rating but I was pretty disappointed to feel ripped off by someone from my own neighborhood.
