I recently moved into a home that needed plumbing work requiring a few tiles in a shower to be replaced. I made an appointment and ended up getting in sooner than expected and the work done was fantastic, I am very pleased with the end result. The workers were pleasant and easy to work with. I did feel a little blind sighted as I was told initially that one guy, the “tile expert,” would come out for $90 an hour and two guys came, so I ended up paying $90 an hour for both of them. I would not think that a repair this size would cost close to $600 for labor and parts but I am happy that it’s done and was done very well.
Diego was so awesome! My mom bought two drawer Fisher and Paykal dishwashers and needed a base to sit them on since they obviously weren’t the same size as standard dishwashers. This was a very custom job and Diego came and built custom drawers to sit them on! Couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! Thanks guys!
I never list reviews like this but I felt it important to let people know what they may be getting with this business. We called home pro for minor repairs (hanging curtains, reattached drawer handles) They sent someone out and the person arrived when I was home at 11:30am (proof on my ring). While I was away my nanny wrote a check after the worker finished for the final cost she was told, which was $550. But shortly after I arrived back home I found that 3 of 6 things I asked for them to do were not done at all. They also replaced handles I specifically asked not to be replaced, and one of the drawer handles they did replace had already fallen off. After finding this, I called to ask why such simple repairs were charged at that rate of $550 and to let them know things were already broken and that they had replaced things I asked them to leave alone. I was told that the worker arrived at 9am (false) and we were charged for that time. I was advised to speak with Chris. After leaving messages I got a hold of Chris 1 week later.I asked for a partial refund because the worker was in fact, not at my home at 9am, things were not done that we had asked, and some of what was done, we had not asked them to do. I was calm in laying out what happened to Chris because I was hoping for a simple solution but was EXTREMELY surprised at how combative Christ was. He was interruptive, loud, agitated and refused to acknowledge that his worker did not arrive at the time they claimed to have arrived. He wouldn't let me finish a sentence after I explained the problem and was very abrasive and argumentative. He offered to finish the job, but I was so disrespected and offended during the call I declined to continue doing business.I'm unsure if Chris is the owner, but as a business owner myself, this owner was unprofessional, surprisingly argumentative and unwilling to listen to the customer. I felt degraded as a woman and after reading a few other reviews, I wish I had not done business with this company at all because this seams to be a recurring experience.

I was able to schedule an appointment pretty quick. Had damaged ceiling from a water leak. While there were some scheduling challenges, the team arrived and was very professional and completed the job perfectly. The project manager AB was excellent, professional, and kept me informed of the progress. I will use them again!

Needed some replacement of the frame around my front door due to extensive termite damage. Jonathan, was very professional in his work and made an extra effort to clean up his work area after he was finished (I’ve had some workers leave trash, screws, nails, sawdust, etc for me to clean up afterwards). Highly recommended and looking forward to doing more business with them in the future.
Do not invite these people into your home. Chris verbally contracted to remodel our shower. We contracted a bench, shelves, and door to be hung. When the time came for the work, he then stated he had not said he would do this work. There was no written contract. Chris said no need for a written contract. He wanted to charge an additional 600 dollars to hang the new shower door. This would have been additional cost to the 5500 dollars charged. We now have a shower with tile, drain pipe and shower head, No door, no bench, no shelves. I had left my Judith Ripka chocolate brown watch out where the shower handle was located, IT IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. IT IS GONE!!! I have searched EVERYWHERE, my favorite watch I have NEVER misplaced. Louis and his female help put up the tile and the shower head. They left a huge mess. Santos BROKE the old shower door , they had taken down , they left this shattered glass in our street and yard. My daughter had to get out there and sweep up the glass. Santos had placed a bag of broken tile on the door left in bulk trash, this shattered it everywhere. No one bothered to clean the broken glass up. DO NOT HIRE THESE people. Andrea Roland

The crew did a great job and was very professional in removing my kitchen island + appliances + counter top; then replacing it a few weeks later without any damage and exactly as it was before. I had a great experience with Chris as the business owner as well. I will hire them again. My only nit is that when they reinstalled one of my faucets, they rotated the orientation of the handle 180 degrees, which I will eventually need to fix.

Fantastic work!! Juan replaced a broken railing baluster and mounted an outside hose reel to my brick siding—both in the same visit. He went above and beyond to sand the sharp corners of the wooden baluster AND prime it before he installed it. Both look great. Would use again and recommend to friends and neighbors.

I requested a bid from this company. I got a text back saying to call them at 11pm which I did as I was awake. Talked to Chris who asked me the details about the project and then asked me What is your budget as if he is qualifying his clients based on how much money he can profit from. It was for a retaining wall and I have no idea how much does these things cost. Neither he offered to setup an appointment to meet me to assess the project scope. Rather he went on bragging how good he is and what not. After wasting 30 minutes on the phone call, he then sent me a text outlining his hourly rate, no clock out for any reasons (Wait, what? Really!) and when I responded to him for clarification, he wrote me a long message how he feels that I will be a difficult customer and he don't want my business as he has plenty of work. He is super arrogant and I can only related to those poor comments that people have left. I wish I had done my due diligence. I will never do business with such an unprofessional person. If you are willing to risk it, your call.
Jon and AB did a great job with the dryer vent/hookup project at our home. It wound up being more complex than we thought, but they were very friendly and professional throughout the process.

My front doorway was damaged during a delivery and I worked with this company to get it fixed. A gentleman by the name of Santos came out and made it look brand new! He was patient and nice through the whole process! Awesome job Santos!!

We had a need to install a self-contained elevator (Lift) in our home. When we first met Chris, he explained very thoroughly what needed to be “cut-through” our second floor in order to have our needs met. His team of workers, Edil, Greg, and Jonathan were working at our home for four days. What a lovely team! Edil (Project Manager), was a delight to work with... all three gentlemen were great! They were meticulous and clearly explained every next step to get the job done. We would hire HomePro and this same team to do other jobs at our home if the need arises. Thank you, Chris, Edil, Greg, and Jonathan!

I called HomePro Handyman Services a couple weeks ago to get a storm door installed plus have water damage around the back-door repaired. Chris Dandridge (owner) assured me his guys could handle anything. Although, that could be true the process at which his company operates is less than professional. As we discussed I would let him know when I had the screen door ready as it was being ordered. Last Monday 5/3 I texted him the door was here and needed to schedule a time. He replied back Tues 5/4 at 9pm that Edil his “Handyman” would arrive Wed between 12-1pm.Wed at 1:30pm his “Handyman” finally arrives and is surprised to find out I needed water damaged fixed also. I didn't have a good feeling about this project being handled correctly. 15 minutes after arriving he left to go shopping. Items purchased at Lowes for repair with a cost of $350 (300%-500% markup) 6 pieces of trim, caulk, expanding insulating foam, trim paint, paint brush, small paint bucket for holding screws, lumber 2x6x4 1 piece and screws. 30 minutes after arriving back he decides that it would be easier to just replace the entire back door and frame and gives me the choice of either paying for him to go shopping for another hour or leave him and pick up what he needs myself to continue allowing him to work. I went myself to buy a new pre-hung back door. After returning the “homepro handyman” figures out he still doesn’t have all the tools/supplies to complete the installation. After the 3rd trip to buy a drill bit he didn’t have and get more trim and lumber he finally has enough to start installing the back door. But I was already irritated. I texted Chris and let him know that his Handyman being so unprepared was unprofessional. Not that I even blamed the contractor that came out. I think the owner didn't properly prepare him for what he was actually coming out for. I believe Chris did this in part because he knew he was charging by the hour and was making sure he could get extra hours out of me, but that's just my personal opinion. Chris immediately called me and started getting defensive trying to make it my fault because I didn’t already have the supplies and accused me of being unreasonable for thinking I shouldn’t have to be his handyman’s assistant. I would have stopped the project in my tracks if I didn’t have a giant hole in the back of my house. At about 8pm (6.5hrs) the “homepro handyman” gives up on the project because it’s late. And as I found out later would have needed more supplies. Only the back door and not the screen door was installed.I had to spend the next day taking a crash coursing learning how to do what I paid his company 1k to do to finish the job.Prepared: FOn Time: CCompleted Work in a Timely Manner: FQuality of Work: BCustomer Service: FCost: $$$$ FMet Expectations: FOverall: FBehind schedule, overbudget and incomplete. Please do not give this guy your business. He is the most arrogant narcissist I have ever encountered.(added after owner response)I've seen the owner post on others complaints that he records all customer phone calls. I ask him to please post a link to both unedited conversations we've had to clear any confusion on who misrepresented what.

I requested a few projects and Diego came out and finished my request in a reasonable time and he is very knowledgeable. I was VERY surprised at how everything came out. I will definitely keep these contractors in mind for any project. Wonderful experience for a last minute call.
Just had Diego come out to fix up our house, and we are more than impressed with his handy work and great communication. We had a long, random list of tasks that he completed promptly & professionally. My girlfriend and I are highly satisfied customers. Expect more business from us in the future! 5 stars.
The representative on the phone (possibly Chris) was condescending and continually boasting about their ratings and how great there system is. Hourly pricing might be a decent way to go about a project but I would like to know a loose time frame to have an idea of how much we could be spending. I'm needing to install double doors from a single door, repair the water damaged wood floors around it, and hang 3 pendant lights where there is only one light over our island. I asked, Would it be like 5 or 30+ hours to install the doors? What if I sent pictures, will that help describe the projects? I feel like these are very reasonable questions to ask as I just wanted a ROUGH estimate to tell my husband. Generally, we'd like to know if we are in for $1,000 or $10,00 and he refused to work with me on our concerns and was extremely rude. We've had extensive home renovations, using an actual general contractor in the past, and are familiar with how renovations can vary in timing and pricing after the initial quote, but are not familiar enough to roughly guess how long each project could take. He answered my questions by just repeating himself about how their customers love this aspect, how they were better than everyone else, and how my projects were just small projects.... but THEN he proceeded to tell me that I needed to call a hardwood specialist to fix the floors because they would be better at it. Aren't they a general contracting business as well?? Isn't installing all new hardwood flooring a BIG job?? I repeated myself saying I only need the place with water damage replaced. He then said they could do it. After hearing how they aren't good at floors, I wouldn't want them to fix my floors now! He was somehow offended by every question I asked. I am not going to let any company cut a massive hole on the exterior of my house without asking questions. I also had questions because this company operates different than any other company I have worked with, other than our plumber and sprinkler system guy who are hourly also, BUT they give us a rough estimate on how long it could take and ask me to send them pictures. That works great and we have been using these two guys for years! The representative and I ended the conversation by him interrupting me again to say they didn't want my business while I was trying to explain they would not be a good fit and he hung up before I could finish. Needless to say, this was a terrible experience and now I am writing my first google review. We will be using Handyman Matters who were more than polite and gave a quote (not exact amount!) and were confident they could repair my floors! To add to this I really hopped to use your company as I had spoken to you (the same guy... possibly Chris) months ago and had a completely different experience, a good one. I had been trying to convince my husband to use your way of charging hourly which he was not keen on. I almost had him agree but he wanted me to call one more time to get a loose estimate of hours possibly spent with the understanding of change and I only received defensive condescending rude responses. I am glad I called again because if we had issues with projects underway, you are clearly AWFUL under conflict and unwilling to reconcile. I'm relieved I saved myself from this arrogant company in time!Written by an angry customer in the Forest Hills/White Rock Lake area!Also....In advance to your upcoming reply this is a legitimate review for your company HomePro Handyman Services and licensed General Contracting. This review was not made by mistake. I am not confused about anything as I remember our conversation vividly stating my concerns. I have attached a photo with YOUR phone number in my called list and the amount of time spent on our conversation. And that I only called 1 time. Would be happy to post my phone bill over the past few months too.Looking forward to your manipulated immature reply as I've read in others posts. (Readers look at the reviews from the company's other branches. All operated by the man I spoke with.)
I very much liked the business model of this company. I needed to hire someone to replace an old drinking fountain and install a new one. They were different sizes and drywall repair and paint would also be needed in addition to the plumbing for the drinking fountain. The tech that was sent out (Edil) was very polite and called when traffic kept him a few minutes late from his arrival time. He then called again once he arrived. I give Edil 5 stars. We did have a corroded drain pipe and repairs took twice as long as anticipated, but this was not anything that could be foreseen. The job did get completed to our satisfaction. Chris the manager of the company was helpful and good with following up on the project. I give him 3 stars. He was a little defensive when I asked if there would be a receipt or something showing me the charges for the work before my credit card was charged. I wanted to make sure I was good with the completed work before giving him the CC info, but he was offended by me saying that. He wanted to make sure he had the info on hand while we were talking on the phone, in case I could not reach him once the job was complete. I am going to chalk it up to miscommunication, but I think he does need to work on how he speaks with people over the phone.

Chris and his crew have done work for us and our real estate clients for years. Never met a more professional and detailed minded person and all the people he has working for him too. We have had super minor jobs done by them and very major too and always been pleased. They totally renovated my master bath shower and I love it more every time I walk in there. Anne Martinkus - Keller Williams Realty
I have had a great experience with HomePro - the owner is very responsive, and the service providers (particularly Santos and AB) were meticulous in their work. They were very careful and made sure to perform excellent repairs.

So where to begin this was a weird call, I have a small remodeling project at home, so far I have arrange 2 other contractors to give me a bid and called this company to be one of them, every other contractor has kindly arrange to just come out look at the project and give me a pricing, this is the first time Im doing any type of additions into my house so since its only adding a new wall and a closet my budget number in my mind is 10K lets say it could be more or it could be less, I don't know because this is not my area of expertise nor I have a clue how much it could cost, thats the reason Im calling to get a bid. The gentleman who answer the phone was nice at the beginning, then he completely went off the rails asking me about how much money I have for the project, like I stated before I have 10K in my mind Im clueless if is more or less who cares, that's why Im calling to get a bid. None the less the conversation just ended by me hanging up after he started ranting that the budget was a must since they need to know how much money I have allocated, For crying out loud, Im calling to get a bid, if I say I have a 1 million are you going to charge me that just because that's the number I said, very unprofessional, definitely not getting my business (I highly doubt they want it, anyway). Just blown away by the way the call was handle. They might be great I don't know but for sure first impressions matter and this people completely blew it out of the park. Remodeling By Danny, Remodel Solutions and Cox Remodeling definitely have their stuff together and very friendly customer service. I might not use any of them but at least they are doing what you are supposed to do in the business world. Finally the beauty of google is that you can find many other companies willing to take care of you. Best of Luck.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! First off I would like to say the crew that was at my house was very respectful and polite and the overall results of the work they did complete was of good quality. My main problem has to do with the lack of communication and the disrespect of the owner Chris. Please save yourself the trouble and do not do business with this company. I did a walk through of my house with Chris originally. My house is basically new construction and I hired Chris to install the the interior doors and baseboards. There was 9 interior doors and about 250 feet of baseboards in the whole house. During our walkthrough Chris said 1-2 days at the most to get it all done. During the first day I did a walkthrough with the crew leader AB (who is a very friendly and great crew leader) and we discussed which direction I wanted every door to swing open as I had purchased all the doors already. When I came back after they were done the first day I found they had installed only 4 doors so far and 2 of them were installed backwards. I advised AB of this and he said they would fix it, which they did the second day but now I was paying $180 per hour for them to fix their mistake. Mid day of day 2 I asked Chris and AB if it would be all done by the end of the day and was told yes it still would be. I returned at the end of the day to find 6 out of the 9 doors done and about 70% of the baseboards done. The crew said they would have to come back, which I replied don’t bother because I can’t keep paying that much for slow work. I paid $3,500 for a not finished project that should have taken 2 days at the most. Later that evening I receive a text from Chris asking if I was satisfied and I sent a reply advising I was not and outlining the issues I had with the services. He replied with disrespectful texts which I will include in the pictures for proof. Please do not do business with this guy! His employees are nice but the ownership is a joke. I hope his employees find a better company to work for in the future.
Diego did an excellent job and in a timely manner. He asked me questions in order to clarify what my needs were for wall mounts and such. Thank you!
Diego did a great job and provided several helpful suggestions regarding my project. I was very satisfied with his work.

Have a solid core door leading outside from the garage that was sticking. I needed someone to trim it and called HomePro. They did a good job in a timely manner.
I am sure you have a good business going. Great reviews because of which I called for your services. The person who answers the phone has no idea how to speak to customers. Very rude and unprofessional. Least interested in getting business it seems. Very disappointed. Hence have to look for other options.
