Saving Grace Plumbing

I was referred to Saving Grace Plumbing from a friend of a friend. Didn’t know what to expect and relied heavily on my friend’s referral and the company’s high Google star rating. To answer your question – Yes, I would use them again and am happy with the work being done so far.I was experiencing water draining from UNDER my entire driveway and into the alley (see pics). I was told by friends and other plumbing companies (on the phone) based upon the factors present, I most likely had a slab leak. The water meter in the front yard is running when everything is shut off in the house and it appears I'm still losing about a gallon of water every minute and a half. Just like any major house repair – who can you trust to do the job and give a fair price for the work? Once I called Saving Grace, they scheduled the leak locate appointment for the next day.Plumbing Technician Robert came out with one of his coworkers. They were very professional, friendly, and, most importantly, knowledgeable. They were able to locate a cold-water leak feeding into my water heater within minutes. It was amazing how efficient they were finding the leak in a short amount of time using their equipment. The leak locate cost about $300.I got the estimate two days after the leak locate was done and agreed to their repair price about $4,000. The slab leak repair will be for a cold-water line that feeds into my water heater. I am now waiting for the dig and repair crew which will be sometime next week. They are busy and the only drawback being the leak will have been running for over a week before it’s fixed. I am sure I will get sticker shock when the City’s water bill comes in for the month.I’ll add to this review once all the repairs have been completed. My impression as of now is Saving Grace Plumbing has a top-notch, very knowledgeable crew who can find leaks without any issues!

Oliver from Saving Grace Plumbing was dispatched to my home and he found the leak super fast and fixed the problem super fast! He was so nice and informative. I appreciate his expertise. He’s a good man. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Sara in the office and she was awesome as well!Outstanding company, outstanding customer service!

I called Saving Grace based on reviews I saw here and online. They were prompt in getting to my house. I showed them in the craw space where the cast iron had been repaired by the previous owner and had started to leak. They stood outside the access hole with a flash light, looked in and said, yes that's where the leak is, but we won't go down there until it's dry and refers me to enviro clean that wanted to charge me 4k to dry this out. This was a return water pipe from the kitchen, so no raw sewage. I went with a second option and fix the entire thing for $90. A few months later I get a bill for $175 trip charge and $3× for fuel charge and over $100 in late fees. I never saw an invoice and was never told of the trip charge that I can remember. Let along 3-4 invoices as I was apparently 3 months late paying. They took off the late fees but $210 for me to tell them what was wrong and them to send me to another outfit that wanted 4k, when I was able to do it all for under $90 is crazy. This is why you should never just go by reviews because this is taking advantage of people. There is no way I received $200 worth of anything from Saving Grace. I think the only Saving Grace is that I ended up getting a second opinion and found a better plumbing company.

Was last Friday when I noticed downstairs toilet is smelling and slight water leak. I called Grace plumbing as I have used them before. I was scheduled for Monday for service. But having 4 children in the house, I had to ask them to come and fix issue same day. Situation can not wait till Monday. And two hours later I receive a message confirming that a technician is on his way to repair and clean up the problem. What a relief for me and the children. I really thank them for such graceful attitude and service.

Our experience was stellar. From the office staff to the field crew, they are professional and very helpful. I have had the chance to meet the owner and you can easily see why his team is customer driven.... they just follow his examples. They are fair, reasonable, and most of all honest!

Oliver and Robert were amazing. Being a new homeowner, you are very leery of any expensive issues happening. From my first call to Saving Grace to schedule, until the time they left. I was reassured that my issue was not an uncommon issue. Andit won't break the bank. Price was very reasonable. Robert is a hoot, but he definitely eased my anxiety by making me laugh. Will definitely use them again and hope I get the same guys.

Oliver was on time, professional, courteous. Listened and knew the problem and the repair needed. Started immediately and was very efficient. Saving Grace saved me! Its never good when you have to call a plumber. They made it way less stressful. They were able to get to me in a timely manner and were less expensive than any of the other bids that I got. It you have to call a plumber I hope that you call Saving Grace and save yourself some stress.

incredibly unprofessional and rude behavior by service technician, I felt unsafe in my own home. Technician told me he could not fix the repair and when I asked him to write down for me what was wrong (so that I could better explain it to my insurance company) the technician stared at me wide eyed, slammed the door in my face and left. I’m appalled at such terrible customer service - to think it’s ok to take someone’s money and treat them like this

UPDATE: Did not honor warranty and/or sloppy work. Constant screw ups...one day they didn't show up...Shortly (1 WEEK) after paying this Company for service and installation repair from several botched installation attempts (pedistal sink/faucet) from a previous visits, I discovered the 1) 2nd new faucet head was loose (moved back & forth); 2) the Hot lever was loose; and, 3) The tech had botch re-attaching my new pedestal sink FLUSH against the wall, no longer LEVEL, water unable to completely go down the drain. When I called for them to come service, they told me they were not going to fix the problem they CREATED, were not going to honor the warranty, nor return my money.

I have “NEVER” had a plumber arrive 3 hours past the estimated time stated. I also have “NEVER” had a plumber who would “NOT” dig where the outside drainage spout was AND didn’t fill the hole back up either; even after someone else dug it up for him! And I have “NEVER” had a plumber tell me he couldn’t go on the roof either! So, needless to say, I will NOT be using this company again!

Josh and his team are responsive, expert, and most of all courteous and fair. The plumber delegated to this job replaced the ancient water heater with a tankless mini and also checked the natural gas system so the new tenant could commence service from Atmos after the prior occupant had not had gas service for several years.

My experience with Saving Grace Plumbing was excellent from start to finish. When I called the office I spoke to Cynthia and Courtney and they are both so sweet and calming to talk to. The plumber that was assigned to my case was Oliver and he was also super nice, quick and efficient. Saving Grace really helped me on a super stressful day! I will definitely be using them again!

There was a $20 fuel charge, a $15 material -Miscellaneous charge and a $50 sink machine charge added. These were not mentioned to me over the phone or by Robert before work began. I think these charges were unnecessary. I have never been charged like this before by any plumbing business. The tech arrived on time. He was polite and was able to able to diagnose the problem quickly. My only suggestion is to assign a partner with the tech as I had to help him with some tasks such as dispose water, plug in the system etc. while I was working from home.Overall good experience though and would definitely recommend Saving Grace.

Everything about this company was great. I highly recommend. I love working with Saving Grace plumbing. They are top-notch. Had a clogged drain in laundry room, called Saving Grace. They came out and unclogged it but it only lasted for couple days. Called them back, they said they don't guarantee their work! But on their website it says 100% guaranteed, they wanted to charge me again to come out. Ended up calling somebody else and they came unclogged it use a camera and got on the roof to clean the drain. Where Saving Grace did NOT do any of this. Very dissatisfied customer...

I repair was done promptly and the company responded promptly to my request, and arrived before the scheduled time which was fine with me. The Nick the repairman was courteous and cleaned up afterwards.I would recommend them to other friends and family and I would use them again myself.My only issue was that I was not emailed a receipt for the 65.00 service call fee that was promised.

Unprofessionalism at its absolute best! Courtney is a customer service joke. She has no idea how to properly schedule repairs. The poor attitude comes through the phone. Robert was the nicest tech but their office treats him as though he doesn't know hot to properly diagnose a repair issue. The list could go on but I see I'm not the only customer that has experienced this with Saving Grace. From the looks of it, your skin must be of a lighter complexion to get good service with this company ( to say the very least). I digress and will allow the next victim to explain in greater detail.

The technician Joshua Crow was great, he was very personable and polite. He did an excellent job of walking us through everything, explaining what he was doing and what he had found. He took plenty of pictures to help us understand what was under the house and was happy to answer all of our questions. He provided options for the replacement fixture and was back from the store in no time. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the other guys name but he did a great job, too.

They came the same day though heavily booked. Not only fixed the original issue but another that had been misdiagnosed by another plumber at Jampacked Services ( they are not good)Professional, thorough and nice. Highly recommend!

Terrible service. The guy look like he was afraid to even get mud on his clothing. He took a picture of the problem about 10 ft away made a report and said it was my exterior valve for my irrigation. That valve is out in my backyard the valve that I have a problem with is in my front yard. My point is he really didn't do any kind of investigation to even see where the problem may or may not be coming from. He was here maybe 5 minutes and that was it. I do not recommend.

We called and they were able to fit us in their schedule. Josh came out, assessed the kitchen faucet install, got straight to work with usual friendly banter. Josh did a terrific job, He was fast, efficient and checked for any leaks (none) before he left for the next job. Very pleased with Josh and Saving Grace Plumbing. We will use them again for sure.

I am quite pleased with the quality of work and professionalism that Joshua Crow brought with him to my house today. Great service. The first time they came, Robert, the technician realized we bought the wrong faucet style. Instead of charging us a trip fee, he just asked us to reschedule our appointment. When he came back for the actual install, he finished the work in less than 30 minutes and consulted on a few other minor plumbing issues all within the base fee. I hope I don’t need them again anytime soon, but they will be my go to plumbers from now on!

NICK, if I'm remembering his name was polite, efficient and did a good job. He or his helper, and the office kept me informed about everything. They also called a day early saying they could come by today and they did. Usually when repair people give a time with dow, it always seems to be near the end, but this company was here within 1.5 hours of the 4 hour window. long story short, a technician came to my house, in 5 minutes claimed that I have a slab leak, changed me for the visit and left.I'm not a plumber but it was odd to me.I called American leak detection, the next day they came, did a 2 hours work trying to identify the issue, and by doing a proper tests it was a bath-tab drain.I guess you know the different from cost perspective.Good luck.

Unprofessional staff, lack of communication, and mean owner. I hired them to fix the leak. The guy came, didn't really fix it, charged the money, so I had to make multiple calls to the company. I ended up hiring another company to fix the problem. Don't use their services, and take the happy reviews with the grain of salt.

I had 2 spigots replaced recently but as it turned out, one of the spigots was leaking and Oliver was called out to check on the leak. He fixed the leak from the spigot replacement and no more leak!!!! Quick and professional repair!!

I needed to replace my disposal, and Saving Grace Plumbing was able to take care of it, hassle free. They were professional and managed to take care of it in short order. I finally got someone else out to fix my plumbing. After this company tried and failed. They by no means were inexpensive. And never came back after their repairs started leaking

I was at first call of service very impressed because he was well recommended by the neighborhood. However.. as his business grew he hired unprofessional people, unqualified to do their job. I recommended him to my friend last Saturday to fix the toilet problem.. his guy could not handle it and had to call a second guy which he charged on both just to fix with a snake, used the snake and charged my friend for using it, Bill came up $597.20. They left without fixing the problem which took them 3 hrs. My friend was so angry... finally called another plumber who used the snake and fixed it within the hour.. charged her $120... my friend has asked him for a refund for the outrageous amount.. however, he has not yet responded. I thought Josh was a nice honest man. Guess I was mistaken. Will not be recommending him at all.

Saving Grace is true to their name.. I was installing a new kitchen sink on a Friday late evening, and I totally bite off more then I could chew. I ended up causing a leak. I called Saving Grace and they had a technician out with in the hour (remember this was late on a Friday night). Not only was this technician professional, but he was also very understanding and truly cared about my problem. He had fixed the problem and finished my kitchen sink install in less then a hour! He knew I was interested in learning, so he thoroughly explained everything as he went. Thank you again for your service!

They let me know when Nick was on the way. It was late in the day but he made it out within a couple of hours. He was very professional. He cleared the drain by snaking it. Used them twice and pleased both times. Very Happy!!!

After 9 days of no gas and my warranty company told me that Saving Grace already got the approval to do the job, I proactively called them on Friday. The lady who pick up the phone claimed she just got the approval for the job so she can put me down for Monday service. I took the day off from work. No one show up. I called the office around 3 and was told that I was not on the schedule. The manager proceed to ask his staffs if any of them had scheduled me and came back said we never did. As though I was lying and took off work for no reason. Then Tuesday was another long story. Management and team does not seem to communicate well. Manager was not professional in handling customer. They made a mistake and instead of being empathetic to causing you the inconvenience, they make you feel like you lied. So disappointing!

Top knotch. I will use them again if needed.

Saving Grace Plumbing was the second company that American Home Shield sent to address a water leak issue we had. The first company, which doesn't deserve to be named, said it was a slab leak. Saving Grace took the time to investigate and quickly identified it as a supply line leak leading to the water heater. They opened up the wall, immediately found the problem and quickly replaced the copper line with a new much more durable line. They were here for 2 hours but 1.5 hours of that time was spent on the phone with American Home Shield verifying our coverage. The actual work took them only 30 minutes or so. I wish these guys had come out first. Very professional, took the time to explain the problem and show the solution.

This business runs on rude customer service and bad policies. I called them to come out to do a diagnosis. I was informed that there would be no trip charge. However, their billing starts the minute they arrive. I went ahead and made the appointment. Today, they called me an hour before to confirm. I told them to go ahead and come. However, unbeknownst to me, another plumber had already come out before them and finished the job for a total of $154. Then at 11:25am, the “receptionist” calls me to tell me that their plumber arrived at 11:00am and demanded I pay $175 for the 25 minutes of their time. Keep in mind that the plumber NEVER walked into the business, spoke to any of our employees, or let anyone know he was on site. I told the receptionist that I would not pay for 25 minutes of their time (even know the plumber NEVER stepped foot inside). She then proceeded to threaten me to send my invoice to collections and hung up the phone.I’m so glad I didn’t use them. I went with Plumbco Services instead and I suggest you do the same.

This is the most amazing group of plumbers run by a true professional. They have done several projects for us and every one has been precise and perfect. You won’t go wrong with Saving Grace Plumbing.

Owner does not look out for the customer especially when his worker wanted to make a simple mistake (that he made) right. He wanted us to pay for it and did not take responsibility for any of it. Does not seem to place value on integrity and ethics.

The repairman did a great job. It didn't take him too long & I appreciate having my tub draining again. It had been so clogged that it took 3 days to drain.

Juan from Saving Grace Plumbing has to be one of the worst technicians I have ever had come to my house. I informed him the clean out was on the side of the house, which is where they would normally run the snake to clear the blockage, but he insisted he had to run the snake under the kitchen sink. He proceeded to bring the machine into the kitchen, did not put any protective covering on the floor under the machine, and proceeded to snake out the drain. During the procedure the machine scratched the wood floor with a deep gouge. When I pointed it out to him, he said how do I know it wasn't there before I came in. I asked him why he did not put down any protective covering on the floor. He insinuated that that was my responsibility. He said he was done and left without cleaning up and dripping water from the machine all the way out the front door. I asked if he was going to clean up and he said no.
