My wife and & I were very comfortable with their analysis and explanation of our problem. The quote was reasonable and the work started shortly after we accepted their quote. Poor experience, called for an estimate appt on 5/12, they said they could see us that day. Called later to say they need to move to next day. No problem, its end of day and emergencies get preference.Woke me up at 7:30am on a Saturday 5/13 and said a tech would arrive between 9-930am. At 9:50am I called and a man said they don’t know what happened, but I’m on the schedule for 10-1pm. He assured me he would investigate the miscommunication from that morning and call me back. No call back. At 12:45pm this was cutting into our day so I called to cancel our appt. The woman assured us they would tell dispatch. At 1:30pm tech arrives as we are trying to leave for errands. Fine he’s here, let’s get an estimate.A secondary sales guy shows up to give us our quote, he sits us down and says that we will be given a 3-ton unit since that’s what we have, and he recommends. I ask if he did any testing to confirm what’s needed, since our current unit is over 20 years old and, you know, technology changes. Says no tests are needed, it might change the ducting, and “the general rule of thumb is 500sqft per ton”. He then asked how many sqft we have (2400), and then….didn’t change his recommendation.All in all we needed at least a 4 ton by his own rule of thumb, and upon checking our unit we CURRENTLY have a 4 ton. This team didn’t do any heat loading, didn’t even know what our square footage was, tried to sell us a lower unit and didn’t even know what tonnage we currently had. All with a much higher price than competitors. At this point the money wouldn’t be the issue, but I have no confidence in their recommendations.The technician however was respectful and efficient, and even avoided our rug with his shoes, that was nice.

STAY AWAY OF THIS COMPMANY. I was working for them and they are SCAMMERS. they will tell you not truth about your problem to make sure you pay $$$$$$$$$ to fix it. And all 5 stars reviews are fake. They hire company and they created all this reviews from users who get paid but never even used this company services.Response:your answer is not truth. I was working for Pure Plumbing and you know it and you know your not honest business.

Diagnosed issue after isolating different components. Believes thermostat may be failing, as several times recently the unit continues to run although the temperature is above the setting. Only complaint, and not with Benjamin in anyway, is that the prices for installing a new thermostat and for a matching replacement thermostat are well beyond reasonable. I will be doing the replacement myself.

Technician Sam came out to do some electrical work in our kitchen and hang some new light fixtures. He was professional, courteous, and very efficient.
He also cleaned up whatever mess was made and even took all of our old fixtures away. This is another good experience we've had with Baker Brothers.
