We needed our sump pump inspected for possible service as there was a recent flash flood in our neighborhood. Also needed our dishwasher checked.Tommy was on time, very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to clearly address any questions we had and provided honest recommendations. We will most certainly use Roto Rooter for any future plumbing needs.

NEVER CALL THEM.I was looking for a local plumber handyman. Not as the plumber said #1 growing 5 star company.If I had wanted that I would have searched that.And less than 15 MINS to fix a valve $212. That is outrageous and they should be embarrassed to charge that price. That equates to $448 AN HOUR.THEY MISLEAD YOU WITH THEIR CRAIGSLIST AD AND EVEN THE PLUMBER SAID THAT HE HATES THAT THEY MISREPRESENT THEMSELVES.My next plumber WILL NOT BE THEM due tov$448 AN HOUR AND MISREPRESENTATION.I had no choice since my water due to the broken valve had been off for 24 hours.

I hired them because of a recommendation. Somebody in my household put pasta and rice down the drain at the same time (obviously a massive no-no - hindsight 20/20) and it clogged our kitchen sink.

I called, and the person I spoke to on the phone gave me a bunch of things to do before setting an appointment so that I could try and avoid having to pay for a plumber, and I super appreciated that. I tried everything she suggested, and it didn’t work, hence why I’m reviewing.

The plumbers came the next day, and two people showed up at the exact time that they said they would. I explained the problem, and they quickly got to work.

I’m a strong believer in never giving a bad review, because I hired them to unclog the sink, and they did just that. However, they didn’t have any covers on their boots, so there was a lot of dirt tracked through the front door to the kitchen. They also stacked the few dishes I had set in the sink on top of candles and glassware that I had on the counter. Again, not a massive deal, but it was a little frustrating to have to clean out dirty dishwater and residue from my candles.

They shoved all of the rugs out of the way in the kitchen to avoid them from getting wet, which I appreciated, but then just used every towel available in the kitchen to mop up the water mess and then left. them there for me to clean up after they left. I don’t care because they were old towels and I’m not picky on cheap candles, but some other people might be a little more “Karen” about this.

They also absolutely smelled of cigarette smoke and the smell lingered for hours. Again, it went away, so we didn’t care that much, but someone else might complain.

Overall, they fixed my screw up. They fixed the sink fast and it cost $149. I’d hire them again the next time I do something dumb enough to need a plumber once more.

Very prompt and able to send a professional out quickly. The plumber was knowledgeable about did quick work, very tidy and clean. The only down side was the cost was higher than I expected, over $200 to replace a garbage disposal that I had bought. But that’s the price you pay for convenience and having someone able to come over quickly.

Matt came to our property to assist with a main sewage line issue. We had let him know what the problem was before he arrived (day before and morning of the job). He didn’t show up with the proper tools to complete the job and stunk of alcohol. He was very smug and arrogant and talked down to my boyfriend. He was clearly there to collect his hourly pay for no work completed.

Dale came out to assess a problem I was having with a hot water heater.

He went ahead and gave me several options that would fix the problem to ensure I could pick what best fit my budget.

After careful consideration, I decided to fully replace my hot water heater. Dale and the gentleman who came installed it all within the space of a few hours, cleaned up after themselves. The were friendly, arrived on time and did an excellent job. It's so great to have hot water again! I couldn't recommend them enough.

Very well mannered. They said 1 to 2 hours. They called 15 minutes after I called to let me know they will be here in 30 to 40 minutes. He ran an electric snake through my kitchen sink pipes and unclogged the drains. Very pleased with the whole service. Nathan, 5668, cleaned up any mess that he made. The dispatcher repeatedly called me when I told her to schedule with my wife (and gave her my wife's number). The technicians were over an hour and twenty minutes late. Neither technician spoke English. They did not understand the problem, which was a broken drain flange in my shower. They thought the drain was clogged. Instead of replacing the flange, they tried to drill a hole through the old drain cover and flange to secure the cover, which I could have done myself. This will leave screws sticking up in the shower, and it does not fix the broken flange. I told them not to do that, and that the flange needed to be replaced. They finally admitted they did not have the part to fix it, even though I told the dispatcher exactly what the problem was before they came out. I even told her the size and style of the flange. The dispatcher called me to find out what was going on because she cannot understand her Technicians' broken English any better than me. I told her to send the guys home, and I will get a different plumber. They sat in my driveway for over an hour before leaving. This several-hour ordeal left us in worse shape than we began.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about D&L plumbing. We had our sump pump die in a rainstorm and our basement began to flood. They had someone respond quickly and before a couple hours had passed we had a new, functioning sump pump that saved our basement from more water damage. These folks are very professional, helpful, informative, and fair. I could not recommend them more.

Eddie is the man! I decided to seek professional help after spending hours troubleshooting my kitchen sink clog. I called on a Sunday morning, explained my issue and he gave me an estimate for an hour of work later that evening. Eddie let me know when he was on his way and arrived right on time. He was very professional and cured my drain issue like a pro!

Our plumber showed up on time like they said they would. He was very friendly and told what was going with our tankless water heater. He had in up and going in a little over an hour. Didn't break the bank like other plumbers wanted to charge us.

Never fun to wake up to water in the basement. Chris was able to replace my sump pump within a few hours, allowing my basement to drain properly. In addition, I now have a battery back-up in the event of an outage.

Rooterman of Columbus was assigned to assess the cause of a leak by a home warranty company that we placed on Friday, August 28th. They were scheduled for Monday August 31, 2020 between 1-5pm.

I called Monday morning to confirm, and was assured someone would be out. No one showed up. I called shortly after 5pm Monday evening asking for an ETA, and was told they would check and call me right back. No one called me back. I called again around 6pm, they said they wouldn't be able to make it out that day and rescheduled for 1-5pm on Tuesday, September 1st.

I called three times on Tuesday, couldn't leave a voicemail due to a full mailbox and no one showed up. No one has called to follow up or reschedule and it's now September 9th.
