I dreaded the search for a plumber and I put it off for weeks. I had been gouged by big name franchises in the past. I picked G&M because the initials matched my mom's maiden name. What a lucky pick!!!
Troy was very professional and skilled. My chihuahua is a good judge of character, and they got along famously. Their plumbers dont work on commission, so Troy was efficient and thorough without trying to pad his hours or upsell me. I am very happy with Troy and G&M. I will use them again in the future and I highly recommend that you do also. It will be a wise decision for your wallet and peace of mind.

Super Fast, here in under an hour. Couldn't give ballpark estimate over phone to do simple snake of kitchen drain. Quoted $389 to snake a drain that had easy access and likely would have taken 15 minutes and no parts. I'll keep looking. Had a coupon online for $75 off that might have worked but didn't get that far. Wished them a good day. Maybe that is what things cost now?

Our sump quit working 12/24/15. We called them out urgently as we were going out of town 12/26. They sent out a dufus who put in a new sump but could not get the lid on. All for $2200. We could hear the sump from our bedroom and it seemed to run all the time. We called the dufus back out and he said it was working fine. He could not explain why it was running all the time and loud. Fortunately, the Basement Guy, found a leak in the pipe, put in a quieter high capacity sump, closed the lid for $600 and we are sleeping soundly again. Do not use these rip-off artists.

This company is top notch! Everything went smoothly from scheduling to an on-time arrival and a same day resolution. The plumber, Jake, was extremely professional, polite, and knowledgable.

I would NOT use Apex, save yourself the headache. The work they did was ok. The follow-up to fix anything has been terrible as mentioned in previous reviews. This is especially frustrating considering they are not cheap. What I have found is that when we wanted our water heater serviced, we had a response and a technician out in hours telling us we needed a new one. After the job cost us over $3400, a general contractor working on other things pointed out that: 1.) our new water heater was larger and 2.) It was placed even more center of our basement than the previous heater making giving us even less space free basement space if we close it in. We did not realize the few inches of misplacement was such a huge problem, but even more important, that the company could have moved the heater about 1-2 feet over and got it out the middle of the floor since they were doing a brand new install. We called to inquire about moving it over (12-24 inches) towards a corner, had a tech out in 3 hours give us a quote of $850. We inquired about moving it a few inches back to at least where it was, also $850. While he did confirm they try to place it where it was, it is not. Also, I discussed with the tech, do us a service for the money we paid and tell us before you cut pipes short that we can actually move the heater a little for more space. We may not know things as a consumer so we depend on the company we pay... Fast forward, a manger calls and says the best he can do is $400. We advised we need to think about the price. We get a text asking if we want to proceed and advised the manager we did not get the new quote. He resent the $850 quote within 3 minutes. We advised that was not promised. The manager never responded to the text and when called, did not answer. OVERALL, I prefer a private smaller company that can personalize service and return messages as they depend heavily on their customer base. I WOULD NOT USE APEX as their price does not match their customer service and follow-up.

John was fantastic! He was polite, professional and experienced. He explained everything about the process from the estimate, the work to be done, and explained what he was doing while he worked. Things were done well and quickly. From phone call to payment, the experience was commendable.

I reached out for help on a broken spigot outside my house and was contacted the same day and provided service same day. I was quoted a 15 minute window of arrival and Rick was spot on. He was in and out in 10 minutes. No issues, no mess, functioning brand new spigot. Excellent service, excellent quality, I can’t recommend the company and Rick enough!

Called Mr Rooter because our drains were clogged and backing up. Josh from Mr. Rooter came out and barely looked at anything before telling me he needed a special type of machine to break through the clog. He said it was some type of a high pressure water hose that would keep them from damaging our lines and it would cost $695.00!!! He said a regular snake would mess up the lines. The next morning, Josh comes back to clear the drain, he starts working on it with a smaller snake while waiting for the crew to come with the high pressure water tool. Josh made sure to take me outside and show me a very large drain snake and explain why he couldn’t use the big one and why we needed the high pressure water tool. The crew with the high pressure tool came along with the sales manager, Jimmy ??? My drive way is now filled with 3-4 Mr. Rooter vehicles and several plumbers now. Josh was working on this for HOURS. He showed me lots of tree roots he removed with the small snake, not the high pressure thing. I had to leave as they continued to work and came back to Jimmy showing me an indistinguishable video stating our lines were “nonexistent” and had “rotted away completely”, all of our sewage was going straight into the ground and would cause major issues if not fixed immediately. He wanted to tear up my sidewalk outside (which they would not repair) and basement floor. Also, the water line would more than likely need replaced because he guaranteed after the job it would leak so that was added to the bill as well. If they accidentally hit the gas line or anything else they would not be responsible for repairs or costs. This work needed done “immediately”, according to Jim. The bill? $17,000!!!!! If you can’t afford that don’t worry because they will let you apply for a loan on the spot. Do not be fooled, they are scammers and should be shut down!! By the way, after the tree roots were removed our plumbing is working just fine and we have never had any other signs (such as smell or water waste) of sewage leaking. A couple of days later I noticed that our basement window where they shoved their high pressure machine through now has a large crack in it. This window was recently replaced, which I have a receipt for. I contacted Mr. Rooter about this issue through email and they have never responded to me. Yet, it was very easy for them to send me an email of the $17,000 bill for the work that they wanted to complete.

We had a sewer backup on Christmas Day. They sent someone that evening who worked hard but couldn't clear the block. They came back the next day, even without their preferred equipment, which had broken, and worked and worked until they got it cleared. We had checked with other companies, who would not even attempt it because of the low temperatures. And then, they even helped clean up the mess. They deserve more than 5 stars!

I have worked with Accurate Plumbing for the last 5 years. They have always been quick to respond and service. Unfortunately we had an incident of black mold generating from a broken seal at the base of commode. I already had an Appt the following week to unclog drain, but when I called Mike and explained the situation he had Bill out within hours. Bill was great about resolving the issue and cleaning up. (As well as fixing the items I already had an Appt for!). Highly recommend!

Trevor helped us update our shower. It was during flu season and he was happy to reschedule our estimate when our family got sick prior to his arrival. He was very transparent with us about our options and helped us figure out what repairs to make now if we plan to fully remodel the tub/shower in the next few years. He even talked us through what his recommendations would be when we decide to make those bigger updates. He wasn’t trying to upsell and gave us honest feedback based on what he could see throughout his estimate. He was able to get the work done the same day he came out to perform the estimate which worked out perfectly. Trevor was very professional and with the quality of service we received, we’re confident we found our guy for all our future plumbing needs.
