I called today for a semi-emergency situation at my home in Upper Arlington. They were able to get someone out within a few hours and give me a very reasonable and comprehensive opinion on a basement sump pump/water situation. They are clearly customer-focused and not sales-focused. And they quoted a full sump pump installation at a reasonable rate. I would like to thank Will H. and Joe M. as they repaired my main sewer line in my home. Without them asking questions on what I was experiencing, all my problems may have not been addressed. While they addressed the main concern with tree roots at the transition line, what I did not realize there were two other problems which were discovered by Will and Joe. The main water valve in the house was leaking and the main house drain had a hole about 12 inches long and six inches wide. They both were very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating to any questions I may have had. I would strongly recommend either of these men.

Sterling replaced my existing 1/2” Id galvanized steel pipes with 3/8” and 1/4” plastic pipes and connectors. Claimed it was apples to apples exchange. I lost all my delivery and pressure. He never secured my outdoor spicket to my foundation, put one shut off in the wrong place and completely eliminated 2 other shut offs to my hot water tank. He removed my grounding line to my electrical panel box and never returned to hook it up. I called him for a year to get these issues resolved and he never answered my phone calls. Worst contractor and experience I ever had in my life.

I have hired plumbers from BFPOC twice and each time were courteous, professional and fast. I will hire them again for that reason.

With parts, taxes, and the heater it came to $1141.00, and plumbers to help pick it up a city away and then carry it into our home for installation, they carried out the old heater after disconnecting it, then it took another quick trip to the store to pick-up more parts to reroute the pipes for the new heater, and then about an hour to install. It was an unusual job and an unusually large water heater. We had to go with a commercial size electric water heater to match our old one. The total time they spent from the moment he decided to go pick-up the heater to the point where the heater was cleaned up and installed was 4 hrs on a holiday. Labor for the emergency ran us up an additional $1720.00, but I believe it was a kindness given the emergency of the situation and our special needs household. Thank you again for your time and kind hearts.
