Trevor helped us update our shower. It was during flu season and he was happy to reschedule our estimate when our family got sick prior to his arrival. He was very transparent with us about our options and helped us figure out what repairs to make now if we plan to fully remodel the tub/shower in the next few years. He even talked us through what his recommendations would be when we decide to make those bigger updates. He wasn’t trying to upsell and gave us honest feedback based on what he could see throughout his estimate. He was able to get the work done the same day he came out to perform the estimate which worked out perfectly. Trevor was very professional and with the quality of service we received, we’re confident we found our guy for all our future plumbing needs.

Glad I called Carpenter Heating. Ashton and Nick installed the Bryant furnace in 4 hours. They did a great job getting the old unit out of the attic and installing the new one. They made it look easy, I know it was harder than it looked. They did a great job of explaining throughout the process. Everything was squeaky clean when they were done. I have been using Calhoun Plumbing for many years now for some rental houses that I have. I have always been happy with the work and felt that it was a good value for what they charged. I recently had to experiences which I’ve changed everything. I will just stay at the fax without questioning honesty, or competency, or any of that: 1. A gentleman arrived at two of my rental houses, one day apart, and at both he told me that I needed to have large sections of pipe replaced due to broken or corroded pipes. I believe this at the time. But as both tenants were left with the inability to use water/toilet, I wanted to restore things even if temporarily. As Calhoun had no working water jet, and I wanted that done, the Plumber recommended me to call another company, which I did. 2. This company came out and had both lines blocked and stated that they were in fact no breakage or corrosion or anything else that needed to be done. I had perfectly functioning plumbing in both cases in less than an hour. I spent. Nearly $800 with Calhoun for absolutely no improvement in service. In one case, the toilet was left in the hallway even. I spent less than that with another company who was there for less time and everything now works fine. This gentleman also placed a camera in and said there was absolutely no need for any pipe to be replaced. Again, I do not question intentions or competence here, and I will not speak ill of them. I am just laying out the facts. I do not feel that the outcomes described represent good value for money. It may be time to raise the prices and hire more qualified people. The service I received in these two instances was worthless and wrong. UPDATE: Sounds nice, the comment below; but, I called the day before posting this review and related who, what, where, and when. The time for any remorse and offers was THEN.

Around the end of Dec. I contacted Cantrell for a diagnostic after noticing water on the floor where the hot water heater is located (they did the replacement I recalled the diagnostic trip charge was about $80).The tech stated he was in the immediate vicinity.Upon his arrival the first thing that struck me as unprofessional was that he glanced at my shoes on the landing,my bare feet, and continued up the white stairs and across my hard wood floors in his muddy boots.He turned off the main water, placed his finger in the drip pan and stated it couldn't be the water heater because the water in the pan was cold. He asked me to plug the kitchen sink, fill it with water, and then unplug. We were about 5 feet from each other and when I unplugged the sink I noticed the water begin to rise in a tube in the laundry room.He suggested I remove the water from the drip pan with a towel and bucket.I placed a liner in the trash and he removed the liner stating in a sarcastic tone doesn't it make sense? (to remove the liner). He wrapped up by stating it would cost $140 to snake (plus the trip charge fee), to call in the am, and left, all within 15 minutes tops.I resolved with drano.On 1/18 I received an invoice for $265.At 4:43pm I called the office and spoke with an Eleanor who stated that can't be right....we charge $70 for the trip charge and $68/hr for services. She said the trip charge could sometimes double on weekends..understandable but still didn't add up($140, $208 tops).She asked for the initials on the description, I told her TR, she responded oh, the owner I will have to call you back on Monday. No return call but I received a duplicate bill with $265 highlighted in bold.I contacted several plumbers and their response was a $265 15 min diagnostic trip charge was far from standard, even excessive. Inconsistent pay practices? Beware

Our water heater wasn't working properly and not only did A 3 Aces request that our home warranty replace our water heater, the turn around time was remarkable! Unfortunately when you have a home warranty, you don't always get to choose the company, but we've had A3 Aces fix our disposal before as well. When I found out they would be assigned to our water heater, I knew the job would be done accurately and efficiently. Thank you for always doing a great job!

We called Gunther with a small leak problem. Fortunately they had a cancelation and were able to service us the same day.

The plumber did a great job, identifying and resolving the issue. He even corrected some 'questionable' existing install work. He was friendly and neat.

Amazing service! Called about a clogged drain and they were there within 2 hours! And the charge...unreal! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This is the third company we've used over the years to clean out our lines and they really were different. I just felt they were hard working, helpful , thorough, and not trying to up-sell me. They took care of the problem. period.
