Hired in October 2016 to replace pilot starter on water heater. Saturday, 22 Apr, water pilot went out and would not restart. Called tech on duty and also filled out work request on line. Would not listen to fact that city utilities had already been there, insisted that I go thru restarting procedures. After assuring him that pilot would not lit, was more interested in telling me the price of service call. Agreed to wait until Monday for service. Called Monday, was informed one technician was out on an emergency and repairs could not be made til 0800 Wed, 26 Apr.
Would not budge, not try to fit into schedule, or make any concessions. To expect a customer to go 96 hours without hot water is unreasonable.

I think $230 is too high a price for a 5 min relight of a pilot light. I was out of town and couldn't do it myself. Make sure you ask about the price up front.

B&L took great care of me. The work was fast and high quality. They were super responsive making sure that no one had to take cold showers any longer than necessary. They solved some new code issues quickly.

Their staff went out of their way to give me a military discount even when I forgot to mention it right off. These guys will take care of you!

Our water heater was ancient and died. On a Saturday morning, we couldn’t find a single plumber open or who would do weekend work until we found Alphalete. Amazing service they came as soon as they could, we sent them pictures of the water heater and where it was they came out and it wouldn’t drain they lugged it out of the closet with out causing any damage or mess. The floor under it was horrible and needed replaced they showed us and advised we replace it but made it our call to do so. We did and rescheduled the install for the next day at no extra cost or convenience fee. They came out and got it in and set up and it’s beautiful!!! They advised us about the inspection we would need and that we needed more CO2 detectors. Scheduled the inspection in and out and bam life is back to normal and the water heater is a dream. They send a text before they arrive with a picture of your technician and all his info. They answer any questions you have, a stellar warranty and customer oriented service. I want everyone to use them!

I have to say that your response time was awesome and customer service is top notch. You are one of the few companies that actually deliver what they promise and then some at a reasonable price. It was refreshing dealing with such professionalism.

Called early this morning, problem was taken care of by 2:00 p.m. technician Tucker did an excellent job!

I used Jolly plumbing for a couple years at the behest of my property management company. For some reason Jolly must have gotten complacent in their assumption of my business and that I'm quite busy. By my rough estimate I think I've paid Jolly into the 10's of thousands (I own more than one older property that requires plumbing)
Since I don't think they publish their rates let me tell you about mine. One of their first jobs for me was in 2014 and the charge was $80/hr. This is quite high in my opinion but usually when you need a job done there isn't a lot of time for bids. The most recent non emergency job I had done by Jolly (and last as far as I'm concerned) they charged me for diagnosing the problem as well as a rate of 120/hr for the actual work. They ran two lines inside my apartment. To be frank it was quite half ass and I'm actually getting it looked again to see if it was up to code. This also means that for non emergency work their rates have gone up 40% which is far above any kind of inflation, just basic math.
I'm not sure what Jolly is up to exactly anymore. We've parted ways with our former management company but I'm sure they'll remain cozy with Jolly.

Got me taken care of at a reasonable rate even though they dont normaly service me area
