Best Gas Leak in Colorado Springs CO

Called about my leaking water heater. The plumber showed up exactly at the scheduled time. Every question I asked was answered with plenty of detail (I was curious about the trade-offs of tankless and electric water-heaters). The plumber was punctual, polite, patient, and obviously passionate about his work. He performed above and beyond, not just replacing the water heater, but making changes for robustness and convenience (the gas line valve was tucked back in a corner behind the water heater, and he moved it out so it could actually be reached, as well as a few other small changes to fix cramped valve placements), and also gave me advice about changes I need to make to my carbon monoxide detector placement in order to pass inspection. Although appearance isn't a priority, I have to say that I am pleased with the way the work looks visually, too. It looks clean and professional; leaps beyond the way it looked before.

As somebody who works for a small company, I always try to gravitate toward small local businesses for my needs. Sometimes you get burned by lazy amateurs, but it's worth it to find local driven professionals who take serious pride in their work.

These guys were amazing. We had another company say that we needed a full repipe of our house and had given us an estimate at $6,200!! Western Peak Plumbing came in to give us a 2nd opinion and told us the problems were actually simple fixes and would cost us under $1,000. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and were great at communicating with us every step of the way. They really did come in and save the day!

Honestly, picked Plumbing and Gas because they were closest to where we live. Had no idea who to call. Best blind call I ever made.

Ed was working across the street and we needed a plumber due to inspection done for sale of our home. I called the # on his truck and he came over as soon as he was done...no appointment! He's great, friendly, didn't charge us extra for last minute service or anything!

This would have been my first time using their service however it never happened. I had originally scheduled for Tuesday from 3-5pm. I received a call later in the time window stating the tech would not be able to make it and we rescheduled for today Friday May 1st. I was given a window of 8-10 am and would be the first appointment of the day. I planned on going into work later in order to wait for the tech. Here we are at 10 and no call with no update. I decided to call and they stated they would ask the tech for an update. The tech stated he would be at my house within 20-30 min. Unfortunately, I had to cancel because I planned the tech to arrive within the window I received which was not the case. I feel like I got the run around and was inconvenienced twice. I’ll take my service elsewhere.

Lucas was absolutely outstanding. Twice in one week he came out to fix some burst pipes within a few hours of my call. The repair was performed with a high degree of quality and precision and I have no doubt that it was well worth the price

My appointment was booked for the next day. This morning I was called with an update on the status of the plumbing technicians and then they arrived exactly when I was told they would. They worked swiftly and completed my job with ease. I will be calling this company again for any future plumbing needs.

They informed me that it sounded like the problem was something the water dept. should fix, after reviewing the photo I sent. And the water dept. did fix it for free! I appreciate their help and honesty!!!!!

In August we developed problems with our old hot water heater. We called several plumbers in the Colorado Springs area. Some would not schedule an appointment for one to two weeks. Then we called Oak View Mechanical. They put us in touch with their master plumber, Tim, and he said he could look at our problem the same day. Since we have an older house, the replacement evolved into a major project. County codes had changed and our venting no longer met code. We also had to replace our old furnace, as well as the hot water heater. Also, the old electricity was only 110 volts and had to be upgraded to 220. With this change, we decided to also install an air conditioner.

Oak View’s owner (Joe), master plumber (Tim), and master mechanic (Dana), and the owner of the electric company they recommended (Mark, Gaddie Electric) came to our house at the same time to look at the project and discuss it with us. At every step of the way, they consulted with us to insure they were doing what we wanted and promptly answered our questions. They staged the job and coordinated with everyone involved to minimize the inconvenience to us. They did the removal, installation, and rewiring in only two days! They set up the appointment with the county inspectors on a day convenient for us. They were very considerate of us and cleaned up all the debris. Our job was unusual because the house, hot water heater, and furnace were so old. Joe, Tim, Dana, and Mark were very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Professional service and super fast response. I had a sewer main line clog on a 3 day old house, called the emergency line and Chris was at my house within an hour! He explained what he thought the problem was, how he was going to fix it and what to expect. He fixed the clog and checked a few other places to make sure the job was done right.

Donnie was very friendly and professional. He identified and corrected the problem in a short time. Can’t thank B&L enough for responding to our needs on Christmas Eve. We would have had to put our guest in a hotel if B&L had not sent the technician on short notice.
