I had a bit of an emergency (scheduled a broken dishwasher to be replaced in the afternoon and woke to find the kitchen sink wasn’t draining) they were able to dispatch a team that arrived within a half hour of my initial call. I mentioned the installation to the team and they recommended a slight change in the water feed based upon their experience with the particular installers so I had the additional work done as well...and it was a good thing because the installer mentioned he would not have been able to install given the original water feed. Very happy and will use them for all my plumbing needs!

I had my hot water heater go out, and initially hired another heating and cooling company to come diagnose and fix the issue. The service person was dishonest about the issue, claimed I needed an entire new tank, and tried to sell me a new one at $1600.

Enter Tim and Alex from Plumb Nation who correctly diagnosed the issue to the elements needing to be replaced. $345 bill. Alex was even prepared to contact the manufacturer on my behalf to ensure they covered a full replacement, should that be the case! Tim also took the time to explain to me the issue so I clearly understood the needed repair and was a complete gentlemen. As a young, single woman, I cannot appreciate this enough.

John provided an estimate and followed-up as needed. He was in a minority of plumbers who understood what the problem actually was (back-flow from the city storm system) and provided a solution (installed a 6-inch backwater check valve).

The job was more complex than anticipated due to some perverse joining by the original nineteen-20s plumbers of sub-surface drain pipes, but was completed in a timely manner with no impact to the livability of the rest of the household.

Dust (read: jackhammer) on the job site was kept to a minimum, with concrete mixing done outside.

Only critique regards the two concrete patches applied are much rougher than the adjacent cellar floor (cement?) surfaces. I'll remediate myself or else just put some paint on and live with it.

Tub was draining too slowly; when I take a shower, I was standing in 3 inches of water. Called a plumber but when he arrived, he ignored the issue and focused on reglazing the tub and gave me an estimate of $2,000.00. Called a second plumber. He also ignored the issue and focused on telling me a need a complete bathroom renovation (which would run me $8,000.00). Have other home improvements that take priority so will be considering the bathroom renovation perhaps next year, but I need the faucet to stop leaking and the I need the tub drain to do what it's supposed to do NOW. Called North Ohio and finally, someone addressed my immediate concerns. Drain now works like it's supposed to and leak has been stopped. Final cost: $265. Amazing! (Thanks for listening to my concerns and not focusing on taking me to the cleaners.). A+++!

My main water valve was leaking in the basement (6 beach towels a day worth of water). They switched out my 75 year old galvanized valve with a brass one. Plus, they put a brass elbow up to the water meter. Stan and Kevin were very nice, professional and fast. I thought their price was very reasonable.
