Our water heater broke in the night. They had a team here an hour after I called and a new water heater installed before 3 pm!

Don Lavoie is a great plumber. He was on time and he also went well beyond to make sure all the work he did was done right. I am very pleased. I will be using this company again and definitely Don.

He immediately started coordinating with Dry Effect to get the mess cleaned so he could get in and fix the problem. As soon as he could get in there, he knocked the job out quickly and done it right so that we should never have that issue again. He understood it was an emergency for our business and treated as such. The price was more than fair even considering the emergency nature of the call. The good: First, I will say that the actual fix was what we needed and we appreciate having a 6 month warranty on the work. Scheduling was easy and our service person was on time and friendly.***UPDATE: Roto-Rooter immediately called me regarding the negative review posted below. They assured me that this is against their policy and that they would be addressing it with the staff member and offered a partial refund on my service. Excellent customer service and responsiveness - I am editing my rating as a result!The bad: The person who came out to work on our flooding problem came into the house, followed me downstairs, stepped directly into the flooded area (in a utility room in our finished basement), and without any recognition that his dirty shoes were now also covered in sewer water, stepped back out onto our clean, dry carpet leaving footprints. There was absolutely no effort made to tracking dirt in and out of our house as he tracked in and out of the puddled area and through the house with equipment. I was left with a clean drain, but dirty, wet footprints on my carpet and all through my wood floor. I brought towels downstairs but he made no effort to use them to minimize the mess. I found it discourteous and frustrating. I've had other plumbers who leave the place looking better than when they arrived, and I was left with a mess to clean up.

Had water backup into the basement. Called late at night and Roto-Rooter was there in 30 minutes. They were able to take care of my issue quickly and efficiently. Their technician John was very polite and professional.

We recently purchased a home and had some things that had fallen into disrepair over the years prior to us purchasing it. I initially called Nixco prior to Labor Day Weekend to set up for a small list of items to address the following Tuesday, (I had found Nixco through a Google search and was amazed by their reviews) After the weekend the list of repairs had grown and Nixco was incredibly flexible in making sure everything I had that needed repair got accomplished even though there were more than I originally informed them of. The service tech Todd and his counterpart were very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable. I told them before they left that if I have any other Plumbing needs I will contact Nixco and I will reccommend them to others who ask as well.

Nathan was very nice, thorough and transparent about the work required. In addition he happen to have discovered we believe one of my mothers rings. We think my Dad may have dropped it in the process of putting it away somewhere safe and secure. We were very appreciative!
