Pete stopped by my home to provide a quote on my dishwasher that was hooked up to cold water (instead of hot), before I moved in.

Him and his son were prompt, extremely knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service.

Roto Rooter was able to schedule us right away, even called us about an hour before our window to say they had someone in the area who would be at our house in 30 minutes. We dropped what we were doing and rushed home, but nobody showed up for 90 minutes instead of the 30 we were told. When the plumber (Yuri) did show up he was courteous and professional. He informed us that the cost to clear our bathroom sink and bathtub would be $750, which seemed awfully expensive for two fixtures whose drain lines combine after only a few feet. But we needed the clogs addressed, so approved the work. The actual fix took about an hour and we're so far satisfied with the results three days later. Main complaints are that he left a little bit of a mess and he did not mention that he had to break the trip lever plate and instead put the broken plate back as it was before and we didn't notice it was even broken. While the break isn't a huge problem, since we weren't notified we proceeded to shower as normal without covering the broken cover. A day later we discovered that it wasn't water tight anymore and had leaked water into the basement. Not a huge deal, we're only down one ceiling tile. But a head's up would have been appreciated.Overall 3/5. Fixed the clogs, but was an hour later than they said, left a little bit of a mess, and neglected to tell us about the broken plate. Additionally, charging $750 for two connected drains and an hour's worth of work felt much more expensive than it should have been. Feel like I've used Roto Rooter in other areas of the country and their rates have been much more reasonable. Will be shopping around more next time. If other peoples' rates are better, will likely not return as I don't feel Roto Rooter added enough value to justify the higher cost.

We've used Vanguard for a variety of plumbing projects over the years and they always deliver. We needed our P Trap replaced and after a call and a couple of photos they were there the next day and had it fixed in under an hour. I haven't comparison shopped plumbers in some time but their prices seem a bit high. However, the work is fast and reliable and I'll continue to use them when needed.

Wasted my time and money and didn't solve the problem. Frankly I expected top service for the prices they charge ($250 just for diagnosis). They looked at my water heater and quickly concluded that I needed a new pilot assembly. They made me wait a few days because they didn’t have the part, and wanted an additional $285 to replace a $35 part. I didn’t have a good feeling about the training/experience of these plumbers and I was proven right. The part they replaced wasn’t even the problem. They called the manufacturer and were told that it might be the gas valve. All along they did not know how to diagnose the problem by themselves. They relied on the manufacturer for advice both times. Then they offered me to replace the whole unit for $1,680 but at this point I was not interested on their overpriced and unreliable service. In the end I did decide to replace the water heater but I hired a different company who did it for a much more reasonable $300 plus the cost of the water heater.

Called Kavana's Plumbing and Heating for main line issue. Henry Wright- owner/plumber came out and resolved issue with main line and replaced shower head and faucet head. I was very pleased with the time taken to do the complete job. Henry was quick and efficient. He explained what he needed to do and how much it would cost so that I understood everything. I have had no other problems since. If something else comes up, I will definitely call Kavana's Plumbing and Heating again. I was one hundred percent satisfied with the service that I received and the time in which it was completed.
