Wonderful service. They were polite, clean inside our home, and the installation was quick! Highly recommend.

We were having issues flushing the toilet for several days, where plunging seemed to help temporarily. The last plunge pushed sewage water up through our furnace room. Yuck! My husband called Baethke that night and left a message and we were shocked to receive a return call within 30 minutes from John Baethke. Thankfully, we were able to get an appt. early the next morning! Thank you John!

The next morning, Josh was prompt, courteous, listened (good eye contact) and asked enough questions to try and understand our problem. He also calmly and politely answered all of my questions. Josh tested various things, and let me know step by step what he was doing. He provided 4 different options, there was no hard sell or scare tactics (which is so refreshing!) and talked through each option with my husband on the phone. There was no judgment about the decision we made, also very refreshing, and he gave us additional options we could consider at a later date.

After everything was completed, Josh explained what he did, answered our questions, and did not rush out like many others do. Even if he had another appointment right after us, we didn't feel it. Again, very polite, considerate and engaged the entire time he was here. Shortly after Josh left, I dreaded having to clean up the furnace room, I grabbed all my cleaning supplies and was shocked that it was already cleaned! Even if it wasn't much effort on his part (maybe it was), this was definitely Above and Beyond, and shows just how considerate Josh was/is!

I'm not one to write reviews, but I don't meet very many technicians who exhibit all the positives that Josh did today. He definitely deserves my recommendation, based on my experience with today's service appointment!!

Hired Jan as a specialist to review a sewer oddity found in general inspection on a SFH purchase. That was quickly identified, however Jan also took the time to go over all of the plumbing with me. He found numerous places where the plumbing had not been added to or updated properly. The amount of work to fix it up to current code was great, and Jan's thoroughness helped us avoid huge bills in the future by passing on the property. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with First Chicago Plumbing. They were able to give me an accurate quote before coming in and it was very easy to schedule an appointment. The plumber that came was very helpful and professional and explained everything he was doing. The price was reasonable especially compared to other plumbers in the area and the service was great.

I literally just got off a 2 hour phone call with Rob himself where he took the time out of his day to help me understand the intricacies of our building's plumbing and to brainstorm ways that I can do a TON of the easy footwork myself. And he charged nothing for these two hours! This is why he is ALWAYS my go-to-guy.

Now I can do the easy investigating and don't have to drain our HOA Reserves on easy labor hours that we can do ourselves.

Yes, he literally gave up easy labor hours for the sake of our HOA Reserves. What a guy.

Just a heads up though. Rob can talk your ear off and I mean that in the absolute highest of compliments because information is king and he knows what he's talking about.

He also absolutely CRUSHED all the quotes/bids we conducted with other plumbing companies and his work was top notch. Oh, and he was available much easier and much sooner than the rest.

I did not understand why my colleagues insisted on this company when I needed referrals from them. It was until they took care of my concern last Wednesday when I believed that they are the best plumbers in the city.

Goode is not cheap but they were creative in their approach to a difficult problem behind kitchen cabinets that could not be removed. The quality of work was excellent and the technician, Jose, made sure everything was in perfect order before he left.

Edwin is a wonderful plumber, we are so lucky to have found him! He is responsive to service requests and after working with him for two years he knows our house very well. He will always help remind us how to shut off the water when the temps start to get below freezing and has even offered to help walk us through simple fixes when he can’t come out right away. He is knowledgeable, courteous, very professional, and truly cares about the work he does. Best plumbing service ever!

I had some water leakage problems on a toilet in my Rogers Park Condo. I'm not home often and my roommate didn't know what to do. I contacted VanDerBosch as they had done a fantastic job for my partners home a few months back in Andersonville with fixing (2) sink leaks and replacement of some faucets all done at a reasonable price and relatively quick amount of time. Upon calling VanDerBosch, Lauren helped get me scheduled for a tech to come out within a couple hours. Upon arriving at my home, Joe, my technician, was able to figure out what the problem was and called me to explain what was happening and gave me a free quote on the spot. Since it was a minor fix and we had a temporary answer to our water leak problems, I chose not to have them do the work as I can do it myself but I know that I have a trusted guy that I can call on for any future problems. I feel confident in referring this plumbing company to others since I had a good experience and I have seen completion work performed at my partners home and the tech was polite, low pressure and the area was left clean. We hadn’t even moved into our new house yet and the basement flooded from a faulty sump pump and the sewer backed up! Pete and Noah came out to help with the whole mess. They walked us through everything, every step of the way and made sure everything was done quickly and right. They were patient and understanding as we asked lots of questions. While I’m not happy all this happened - I’m grateful to have found honest plumbers who helped us through it.

Tony from right away plumbing came out to change the faucet and service my water heater it wasn’t working. Very professional and knowledgeable. Took care of the problem. checked and waited there for 15 minutes after the job was complete to see if everything was running correctly before he left.A+ service.

Came down the same day . Fixed my water heater within 20 mins I had hot water again. Price was great. Henry did a awesome guy. Will hire again !

In the last year Kuhn Plumbing has done a number of projects for us. These include installing a basement sink and setting up attachments for a washer, repairing a pipe under the kitchen sink, and improved the flow of our shower head. Each time they completed a quality job on schedule. Plus we had a number of plumbers look at our shower head problem, but only Tom was able to dramatically improve the flow.

Timely and efficient. High quality service and was handled professionally. Definitely recommend!

Don’t really take time to write reviews but this company deserves it . Mike was very profesional and answered every single question I had . They gave me a proposal weeks prior and I contacted them 3 weeks after and they picked up the phone on me every single time. Other company’s would not pick up the phone on me and after leaving voicemails never got one call back. If you’re serious about getting a job professionally done these guys are it , no hassles and if they say the job will be done, it will .He had Dan & Don with him as well , they were always respectful and never stopped working , Great guys . These guys did a fantastic job . I would not waste my time with others company’s depending on hope . I had a new septic system installed on the property in which they promised they will have a complete in five days and in which they kept there promise .
