Dex and Sam were great! Came out late on a Saturday and did a terrific, very professional job. We so appreciated it.

Loga and Omar were very proficient and good with their work. I personally always have bad experiences with plumbers but this was definitely the best. Will call this company again, preferably ask for the same workers. They did their job very nicely and in a good amount of time.

I was on a time crunch, not just a simple time-crunch, but a I'm-travelling-out-of-state-in-two-days time crunch. When my contractor said I needed to clear out a pipe to my sump pump, my heart nearly failed. As a single mother with family out of state, I often have to rely on the professionals to take care of the maintenance tasks I'm not knowledgeable about. That's where Roto-Rooter and their technician, Victor, stepped in. I called Thursday night, after 8 p.m., spoke to a delightful and encouraging customer service agent who scheduled my appointment for Friday, and received an on my way call Friday before noon! Roto-Rooter was organized and efficient. My time was valuable to them, and they demonstrated that through excellent customer service both on the phone and in person. I definitely recommend their professional, kind, and polite services to anyone. I didn't feel as if I were working with a huge company; I felt like I was being helped out by a good neighbor.

Jan and his team were responsive and professional. The quality of their work was high and the issue was taken care of quickly! I'l be using them in the future.

This company just wants your money and wants to keep coming back to “fix” the issue and charge you more money to make quick fixes, and then when the problem persists, they’ll come back and charge you to make another quick fix. Either they don’t know how to diagnose the root cause of the problem, or they want to keep coming back to milk the problem for all the money they can. Either way, when confronted about it, they got defensive and didn’t try to make it right. Buyer beware. Charged $400 for same day toilet auger and clearing. (Roto rooter will do same service for much less and with a 2 hour turnaround). Then, when the issue came back two days later the came back for no additional charge to auger again but charged $100 parts and labor to change a $40 part that was sitting in their truck. The issue came back again, and by this point it’s clear they don’t want to actually resolve the actual issue, but want to come back and charge parts and labor to “fix” another aspect or to charge the price of a toilet to replace the toilet, when it should have probably been done the first time. I was hoping to use this service for some larger projects I have coming up in the future, but I don’t think First Chicago plumbing is a match. Two stars because they did actually call back and were on time and followed up during the service to explain what they were doing and again after it was done.

Initially I reached out to Rob's shop because they were local and I like the idea of working with small businesses. Unfortunately, that is what plagued them in the end.

My needs were not an urgent plumbing matter- my shower only dispensed really hot water, borderline scalding, which is not pleasant to use, but I've been dealing with it for a few months now.

After playing some phone tag to reach them, I was able to explain my needs to Ralph. He promised he would call me back the next day with a quote on the work and to schedule a time to come out. Three days later I still had not received a follow-up call. I called in and had to re-explain my needs to a different guy, but ultimately he had to have Ralph call me back to schedule a time.

We scheduled them to come out on a Wednesday morning. I took the morning off of work to be home while they worked. They said they would be there between 7-7:30 and didn't show until 8:30. After taking my shower apart, they informed me they did not have the right part and needed to visit their supplier and would have to take my part with them. They also informed me that it could not be done in the same day and they would have to come back tomorrow. There was also the chance that it would be a different technician. I was not very comfortable with the idea that the guy who would be putting it back together was not the same person who took it apart.

It was the end of the day and I still had not heard from Ralph about when they would be coming out the next morning - I'll have to take off from work then too. I called in and Ralph informed me that they do not have enough guys to send out tomorrow and would have to wait until at least Friday before they could come out. This puts me without a usable shower for 2 days. They did eventually complete the job and which was satisfactory.

Bottom line is they are a small shop and they operate like one. Their prices were a little high. You might expect a lower price given they have less overhead than a bigger company.

The experts from 24 HR Emergency Plumber Chicago INC explained the process as they worked, and gave me options on how I would like them to set up the water heater. The plumbers were kind and friendly. I fully recommend them.

Pete and Noah were fantastic to work with. They arrived on time and were very communicative. They explained the issue with our shower and, despite the difficulty in getting parts for the random European model, had it fixed in just a few days! Two other plumbers had given us the runaround or ghosted us, so Pete and Noah’s work at Rescue Plumbing really stood out as phenomenal. Highly recommend!

I seriously have 0 idea how this business has over a 4 star rating. I don’t write reviews but I am not happy so have to share my experience. Here is exactly what has happened with J Blanton.I called and booked an appointment with an 8am-12pm window last Saturday. The technician arrived at *3:30PM*. He worked until 6:30PM which was frustrating bc he was 3 hours late, and none of us wanted to be doing this at nearly 7PM on Saturday night. His fellow came who was starving and hadn’t eaten all day so I brought him some potato chips, but allow your people proper breaks.The technician did not finish the job because he didn’t have the part + it was late + his wife’s birthday. But instead of saying, “we’ll finish this up ASAP,” they wanted to charge me an additional $400 to fix the remaining leak on another day.I called to complain because if he had just come on time, I could have run over to Ace quickly and gotten him that part so we could finish. Ace was closed by this time.Today is the new service day.I, again, have an “8am-12noon” window, but it is now *5:00 pm* — 5 hours after window closed, and the technician is still not here.This place is unreliable, untrustworthy, and frankly borderline unethical trying to charge another $400 fee for an unfinished job when it’s their fault for being late in the first place. Do not recommend.
