I could not be more impressed with Noah and Pete who came over to our condo within less than 24 hours of us calling. I had severely messed up our kitchen sink and not only were they so nice about it but they arrived on time, called 10 minutes before, wore masks through the whole appointment and worked while my husband and I were both on several conference calls. I could not recommend them more. Thank you guys!

I have had Tom from Baethke & Son out twice for different items. I had a great experience both time. They did repairs same day, were reasonably priced and super friendly. Tom was great and explained everything very thoroughly.

Called up Roto-Rooter with a clogged sewer pipe on a Sunday and they scheduled a service call to come out as we were told. The service man was very nice and explained everything to us and how he would unclog the pipe. The tree in our front yard and bushes next to the house were the culprit. Took him 2hrs to get it and the entire system flushed down into the sewer!! The supervisor came out with the video inspection and ran it from the house to city sewer line and found a couple of cracks and provided a repair estimate. Very happy with the service and the costs to have the work done quickly and efficiently on a panicked Sunday morning.

I hired Vanguard Plumbing to help with capping a gas line in my basement where it used to be a kitchen. They responded quickly, and scheduled me in right the way. Work was done very well, and Jan even took the time to check out my water heater and taught me what to do in case of a leak. Believe it or not, they finished the job early and hence offered me a discount, which was double-wonderful. Thank you so much for everything!

Great service. They arrived on time and Nick and Mike were very informative. My basement had flooded and I needed them to look at our sump pumps which ended up being perfectly fine. They were so nice they didn’t even charge me for coming out and looking. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Garbage disposal died and First Chicago Plumbing came out and took care of it quickly. The best part was that the plumber took the time to educate me on how my kitchen plumbing works. I learned a lot and feel like I now have an understanding of how it all works.

Had a leak under our tub. They ended up having to replace a pipe in a tight spot. These guys were awesome, on time and super clean after the job. Will definitely call them again if we have another issue in the future.

VanDerBosch Plumbing were professional and courteous and would recommend them for their fine work. They did a fine job and so happy they fixed our furnace for the early November chill we are experiencing now .

Chaz and Charles repaired a leaking drain pipe in the wall of one of my apartment units, and cut away some floor and drywall in a very clean way to allow for easy patch. I will start off by saying most of the service technicians were extremely wonderful.The overall experience I had with the company, however, was horrid.What I had done: Install external clean-out for sewer.Cost: Extremely overpriced - I ended up getting 2-3 quotes after the work was done, all of which were exponentially cheaper for the same exact work.Speed of service: They were able to come out pretty quickly, however there was over a week of time that elapsed between the initial dig and when they came to fill the hole in the yard - I was left with a huge hole in the front yard for that entire time.Customer Service: My biggest concern with my experience... From the minute I chatted with the company, I was being upsold. I was immediately prompted that I should replace the entire sewer line from the house to the street. I was given a quote for the job, and then after attempts to unblock the sewage line were failed, I was again prompted to replace the entire line.They couldn't tell me exactly where the sewage pipe went, and wanted to make to decision to keep ripping up the front lawn to figure it out.This is because they did not have enough tools for all their service workers. Rather than waiting to actually use the rod with the locating beacon to confirm - I was being asked to make a decision that would have resulted in an additional $10,000 cost.I was being asked to make decisions without having all the information.In addition to the fact that my lawn had a gaping hole for over a week - there were large wooden boards placed on the grass - which has ruined a large portion of my front yard. They also did not have a hose long enough to reach the street, so when they were clearing the hole - they pumped sewage water directly into my front yard - which also ruined the landscaping.The cherry on top was that they charged my account WITHOUT FILLING the hole in the yard, which remained open for an entire week. They took my money before actually completing the job I hired them to, all while trying to pressure me to replace the entire line without giving me a complete picture of the information.I ended up declining additional services, and calling a different plumber. They came out and cleared the blockage literally within 30 seconds.I would never even considering to do business with J. Blanton ever again, and would encourage you to be wary.
