Pros: responsive, good and fast work.

Cons: very expensive. They quoted me $1000 for each task (each takes less than 1 hour).

I have been using Roto Rooter for about three years now and have always been happy with my service. My most recent service request was completed by Gabriel (#5390), who is very knowledgeable, polite, and thorough! He was sent over after a previous service call and came over right away, explained everything he would do in detail, and fixed our water problems in very little time! He tested the water to make sure everything worked perfectly and made sure we didn't have any more questions before leaving. I am so happy he was our plumber and will definitely request him in the future! Thank you Roto Rooter!

First Chicago was very responsive to my plumbing needs. Eugene and his partner showed up early and fixed the problem that we had with our sink. He also to took the time to explain what the issue was and how they fixed it. These guys were very professional and know their trade. The price was pretty fair as well.

Alex was incredibly helpful in replacing our hot water heater the very next day after it broke down. He walked me through each step of the process and gave a very fair estimate. He also helped fix our kitchen sink! Would absolutely recommend using Rob West to anyone who finds themselves in need of a plumber.

Edwin has always been uber responsive and professional when we've used him. We had him install a new kitchen faucet, fix a leaky toilet, and clean and fix bathroom sink drains. He's been able to fix all of our issues and is overall very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend!

Friendly, competent and fair prices

We called Apex for same-day service, which they were able to provide. Their staff was very responsive. They were able to get a plumber out to our house within a couple of hours of my initial call. The plumber was able to identify and fix the problem quickly. He was friendly and efficient. I was worried about the situation, but they got it fixed fast so everything is good. Thank you!

Juan came out a few hours after calling him in the morning and was able to fix the problem quickly for a reasonable price. Thank you!

I had Pete and Noah come help with an emergency clogged toilet issue. They responded promptly, came on time, were super friendly and professional, and knew what they were doing! Everything was done very quickly as well. Thank you for such great service and I will be using them next time!

They gave me a quote, which is on the high side. But, I have a deadline to meet, so I agreed. The quote is based on at least four communications, including photos, phone conversations. However, as soon as the plumber arrived, he asked to double the price. Wow! Then, he refused to do the job and left.

The company has very limited control of​ the plumbers the company sent. The plumber just refused to work and left. Very disturbing​.

I can not count on this company. Very unreliable and potentially price gauging.

They are expensive.. BUT they show up when they say, the office staff is really nice and follows up, and they did a great job. Really nice guys, clean and cleaned up after themselves. They fixed and finished a job someone else screwed up.

We needed to have a plumber on call for a very important event. Robin and the team were wonderful and helped us every step of the way to ensure we were ready if anything happened. I appreciate the team and will be using them again in the future.

They do good work, but the amount they up charge is unbelievable. Here are their rates: $198 for the first hour; $89 for each 1/2 hour after. I was charged for 2 1/2 hours of labor.

I had a plumbing job at 7 am and he spent 20 mins figuring out the situation. The plumber says he needs to get the part. I have camera footage of him leaving at 7:23 am and he comes back at 9:03 am with the part. He takes 10 mins to complete the installation and he’s out of my house at 9:15. I don’t receive an invoice until 3 weeks later (they used to give it to you on the spot) and this plumber writes his time out as 9:30 am. He has the audacity to upcharge me another 1/2 hour when he already billed me while he was out of my house for over an hour and a half from 7:23 to 9:03 am.

*edit: they made things right and gave me a credit, but still don’t think the plumber should’ve done that to me

Showed up 4 hours late the original time is as 9-12 but showed up at 3:30. Had the wrong call I called for a tire up n he kept saying it’s a no heat call so I will never use them again
