I needed to have a faucet replaced in the kitchen. I purchased the faucet and only required the labor to remove the old and install the new. I called in for pricing, but I was told that they would not provide pricing over the phone. Only a technician on site could give pricing. If I do not move forward with the work I would be responsible to pay a service charge. I set up an appointment for that evening. 1 hour before my appointment window when the technician was due to arrive, the dispatcher called and said that they did not have any techs available to make the appointment. The appointment was re-scheduled for the following morning.The technician arrived the next morning and came in to provide the pricing which was $705. it was explained that it was probably a 1-2 hour job, so the price was excessive in my opinion. The technician offered to show me the pricing sheet to prove that is the cost of a faucet replacement. I moved forward with the work and the technician was on site less than 50 minutes for the repair.I was unhappy with the initial missed appointment and the excessive cost. I reached out to their customer service manager to see if a resolution could be reached where I didn't have to leave a negative review. The Roto Rooter employee that called me was not interested in resolving my issue and she actually spoke negatively about their own company employees. In a nutshell she told me We have raised prices every year for the last 4-5 years. Yes, that same repair would have been $200-300 a few years ago. I understand you have to raise prices, but double or triple in 4-5 years is excessive.I can see that the focus is no longer on the customer and that they'll continue to raise prices. I won't be using Roto Rooter moving forward.

Buyer Beware!I wanted an old kitchen sink disposal removed. I had a $500 quote from my usual plumber who has been maintaining that disposal for years. When I called Goode, they said the removal would cost $300 to $400.When they arrived at the property and took a look, they changed the price to $650. I still have to pay for the service call. This is not a good way to conduct business, and I will never seek services from Goode again.I don't believe their argument that this is a very complex procedure, given that I had a much lower quote from my usual plumbers, who are pricey themselves.

I have received professional and courteous service twice from this company. Both technicians dispatched to my unit to conduct repairs were knowledgeable and willing to help. Although there were some initial communication impediments, the company worked through them to resolve my issue (gas leaks). I would recommend this group of professionals to my friends/family. I would use them again for future needs.
