Called on a weekend about an issue with my sump pump. Got a quick call back from the owner John who walked me through everything that could be going on and had me test and describe a couple things to determine it wasn’t an emergency. Set up an appointment for later that week and just had Ron come out to diagnose the issue. He was extremely professional, thorough, and clear. These guys know what they’re doing and I’ll be calling them with any issues going forward.

After a catastrophic overflow of our kitchen sink on a holiday weekend (just eight days after purchasing our home), the men promptly sent by Roto-Rooter could not have been more professional and helpful. From Fidan & Kelly who came within the hour and identified the issue, to Joe the picote specialist who came the next day and descaled our problematic pipe, to Doug and Jose with the flood mitigation team for safely drying and disinfecting the flooded areas, we could not have been more satisfied by the skill and professionalism of all those who assisted us. Highly recommend!

I highly suggest working with Vanguard Plumbing and Sewer. I came to them with an enormous list of issues that piled up during the last two years and they were able to tackle them quickly with quality and care. I had: a leaky shower, a broken tub faucet, needed to replace the showerhead, remove a pedestal sink and replace it with a new sink and cabinet, replace broken valves on said sink, install a bidet and replace a kitchen p-trap. They were able to work efficiently despite my awful building management dropping the water shut off twice... and also communicate issues to this layman so I was always aware of what was being done. I also wanted to note; I have a trash immune system and have to take a bunch of immunosuppressants which is not a great mix in a pandemic. I requested we all wear masks while they were in my place and they respectfully obliged. This act and care was so so appreciated. Thank you!

These guys are GREAT! I've used Rob's company on two occasions, and while my plumbing issues were pretty simple, they were identified quickly and corrected in under 30 minutes both times. Kristine managed my appointment politely and professionally, and not only was I able to get a plumber (Alex) here the very next day, but he was on time and very friendly. In addition to swiftly fixing my clogged line, Alex also explained WHY this problem occurred and how I could prevent it from happening in the future.

From the assessment, these plumbers were able to diagnose that the previous plumbers had messed up on all my new pipes and they needed to be replaced. They gave a rough estimate and proceeded to do the work. It was beautiful and I recommend what thye do.

We had a leaky valve in our toilet and we came across Pioneer Plumbing And Rodding Inc. I called in the morning, the plumber was on site the same day, and it was all fixed 30 minutes later! They have a very helpful texting system to keep you updated about your appointment which I found really convenient. I am a happy camper!!

We met VDB in the early 2000’s and began working with and getting to know them while replacing an ancient boiler with a modern, efficient model. We have worked with them ever since on plumbing / heating projects from minor repairs to conversion to overhead sewer. Sound advice, excellent workmanship and there when you need them. If you need an honest, fairly price, knowledgeable and good plumber call this man first. Made a call this afternoon to this young man. Needed something big I thought (because it was big to me). He returned my text promptly said he would stop by the same evening and he did. He came in explained what was going on and fixed it quickly , cleaned up where he was working and was gone.. I made an appointment for him to come fix another issue i have due to his time constraints. I will be referring to anyone I know and don't if they mention needing plumbing work.
