Pete and Noah were awesome. They were punctual and professional. They walked me through what was done and ensured I was satisfied with their work. Happy I gave them a call, they definitely got the job done right.

I definitely felt as if I was being taken advantage of by folks who assumed I was a young kid who doesn't know anything about plumbing (and in fairness, they aren't far off--I am a young kid, and I have a very limited knowledge of plumbing).

I was quoted $900 for a very simple shut off valve replacement, and I overheard the plumber talking about selling services to me while on the phone with his supervisor. It's a $10 part and maybe 15 minutes of work. While I understand that applicable services are recommended after a diagnostic is run, and I obviously understand that you need to make your money, I really don't appreciate that language being used. A plumber is here to help fix a problem, not to up-sell me on some kind of service agreement.

The bottom line is that you can find someone more honest at a better price. My plumber was very kind to me and helped me to understand the problem at hand, but I certainly felt like I was being taken advantage of. The value is just not there, and it seems to me that they're valuing money over helping clients.

Any woman that works full time and has kids, I can tell you how disruptive and inconvenient it is when your pipes are backing up. Not being able to do dishes, laundry or take a shower is brutal. A friend recommended Roto Rooter. I called. The operator was polite and surprisingly expressed empathy regarding my situation. I thought I would have to wait until the next day or longer for someone to come over, but he said they could get a technician out in a few hours. I received a call saying a technician was in the area and could be here in 10 minutes. I couldn't believe it. Technician #3215 Sergio arrived and was polite and professional. He was very knowledgeable and confident that he would clear the pipes. I was impressed with his skill and demeanor. He made a difficult situation easy. He was calm, intelligent and respectful. He represented his company perfectly. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sergio and Roto Rooter. I wish everyone had their high standards and strong work ethic. Thank you for helping us.

Martin found the cause of our sewer gas smell and solved it without opening a wall, which we really appreciated. They will definitely be our first call if we have any plumbing issues in the future. An overall great experience.

Very professional, friendly, and helpful! I'm in the process of purchasing a 3rd floor unit which just happens to be having the vertical risers replaced by the HOA and Rob took time out of his very busy day to explain the work he is doing and how it is personally going to affect and fix my unit's current water issues. He was very straightforward with his explanation and was very patient and friendly on the phone with me even though I'm just the potential buyer and not even his current client.

The team did a variety of tasks including extending plumbing required for installation of a washer & dryer on our second floor. They were on time, clearly explained what they were doing, completed the work on time and cleaned up after they finished.

Job was to replace a section of pipe under the sink for a total cost $375.

They walked us through everything, every step of the way and made sure everything was done quickly and right. They were patient and understanding as we asked lots of questions. While I’m not happy all this happened - I’m grateful to have found honest plumbers who helped us through it.

I was able to get them on the phone without any issue and get setup for next day emergency service. The recommendations, work, price, and customer service were top notch. I was fortunate to have found this company in my time of need.

The plumbers that came out to my business were very friendly, and worked hard to get the best solution to my problems. Would highly recommend their quality of work, but I will say they are overpriced in comparison to other plumbers who have also done a good job on issues I've had in my business.

Power provides the best and most experienced plumbing service in Chicago. I wish all service providers could be half as good as Power.
