My mother had a really bad plumbing issue the other day and Clay came to her rescue. He did a great job. He was efficient, clean, extremely knowledgeable, and pleasant. My mother and I will definitely be using him again.

I can't bring to express how happy and pleased I've been with Rescue Plumbing! I had basement flooding that 5, yes 5 other plumbers could not figure out. I ended up needing major inside and outside plumbing work done to fix the issues. I worked with Pete and Noah and throughout this process and they were quick, accurate, professional. They have done the job and done it right and I finally don't have to worry every time it rains if my basement will flood or not. I know it will not flood now and I'm thrilled.

They charge a service fee to come out (it doubles on Saturday and quadruples on Sundays). I had a strange water issue that seemed like it could have been a frozen pipe. However, it didn't seem like it SHOULD be.

A tech came out, did very minimal inspection and troubleshooting, then gave me several very expensive quotes for running a thaw machine. I asked if there was any kind of guarantee that doing so would fix my issue, but there wasn't.

I ended up solving my issue myself by cutting into my drywall to examine my pipe following the recommendation from another plumber. It was frozen due to a frozen hvac line from another building unit that was running next to the water line.

The other plumber would have charged about 1/3 the price to thaw it. I did so with a hair dryer with confidence after actually finding the root cause.

Annoying service fees, expensive quotes, poor troubleshooting, no guarantee of problem resolution, and, finally, they also signed me up for a spam email newsletter without consent. F that.

Had the pleasure of Pat fixing my pesky toilet today. He was kind, professional and honest with my quote and his recommendation. He was also happy to receive lots of tail wags and licks from my dog as well. Amazing same day service.

Jesus replied quickly to my quote request to fix my clogged garbage disposal. He was able to come within an hour and a half and fixed it up in no time.

He gave me advice for how to keep things draining and clean.

I decided to ask him to take a look at a few other projects I have in mind, including a sump-pump backup battery. He took a look and saw that a piece of my current sump pump had broken off and my water was high. He fixed the unit with a temporary fix, drained the water, and did it for free.

I'll definitely be using Jesus for my future needs - he was friendly and knowledgeable - and, importantly, shared his knowledge with me so I can take care of my home.

This was my first experience with First Chicago Plumbing. The whole process went great. They were responsive and pleasant to talk with from the start. I highly recommend 24 HR Emergency Plumber Chicago INC who came out to replace my 15 year old water valve and irrigation valve. I was worried at first but from how they handled the situation, they gave me another reason to trust them and probably hire them if need be.
