Tony (#1470) was prompt and courteous when he came to fix the crack in my Kohler tank. I was a little disappointed the tank couldn't just be replaced, but Tony explained the situation very professionally, and took the time to go purchase a toilet I was thrilled with. He completed everything in a shade under 2 hours, and I LOVE my new toilet!! I will definitely use them again, and will recommend them to friends! Thanks Tony and Roto-Rooter!

The project undertaken was to replace a 20 year old water heater with new and correct issues causing poor water pressure in a 60+ year old Chicago residence.

Jan and Chris arrived on time and hit the ground running and never slowed down. The water tank was replaced and brought on line in less time than was estimated. If you admire good craftsmanship you'll love Vanguard, the pipe fitting and copper sweating are truly superior . It made me question what I received from prior service providers.

As for the poor water pressure issue, I had convinced myself that the only remedy would be to have a booster pump installed. Our home has had remodeling of the plumbing on all three levels. So all the piping has been modernized and replaced with copper except for the holt/cold risers between the basement and the two bathrooms. After Jan had a look at the bathroom fixtures and the transitions between the new copper and the old galvanized riser pipes he had a different idea as to what would fix the pressure issue. He suggested replacing the valve system in the new shower that had mixing valve. And, replace the non-brass die-electric unions (connecting the old piping to the new), with brass fittings before spending the roughly $4000.00 to install a booster pump. As it turned out, at each point in this process Jan was right, there was significant blockage in the fixtures and DE unions. Long story short, I'm very happy with the water pressure at all of my fixtures and it cost a lot less in labor and parts than the booster pump! These guys know plumbing and that is evident in their honesty, workmanship and troubleshooting.

This is the best plumber ever. He explains everything and offers great advice without pressuring the customer. I am pleased with the service delivery and I would not hesitate to use him again.

Great service from start to finish. Starting at the service call, the gentleman took the time to listen to the issue and share his thoughts, then we scheduled the free estimate. Chas came to do the estimate and he was just as professional, listned to the problem (floor drain backing up) , investigated (popped manholes and drain covers, looked at sink line inside) and promptly outlined his opinion on the options. We had a deal and Chas took care of the problem on the spot. 10 minute phone call on Friday, rodded and unclogged line by 11 Am on Saturday. Will call again and refer to others. ? Hard to find honest companies, Apex is one of them.

The plumber, Henry Wright, was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous,. He quickly repaired my faucet. He helped me understand how to prevent the problem from happening in the future. I highly recommend him!

Mr. Burris fixed our leaking boiler, I wish I could give him 100 stars!! Highly highly recommend, he wasn't exaggerating when he said he's a doctor about to perform a procedure. Before he arrived a notable heating and cooling company stopped by and said it'll cost $14K as there was absolutely no way to repair our steam boiler. Truly truly thankful for Mr. Burris and his expertise. He fixed our boiler, taught us how to service it ourselves going forward, and followed up to see how things are going. We couldn't recommend him enough.

We live in an old bungalow with very old rusted pipes. Our upstairs shower pressure became super low and eventually non existent. Scheduling an appointment was super easy and our pipes were able to be cleared and now we have a functioning shower, yay! Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future.

I had a big problem at home with completely clogged bathtub. That was in the evening and we couldn't even use it. I called this company and the plumber named Ben came and did the miracle job. I say miracle, because there was a problem with access to the pipes, since we live in quite old building.Ben, as well as the office lady were very nice and professional. The whole service was fast and they were courteous enough to waive some fee for us.I will definitely call the again if any plumbing issue should occur in the future!

Terrible service! They scheduled my service 4 days out and after I took off work and had all of my tenants be available to open up for them they canceled an hour after my service was scheduled and had the nerve to try to reschedule the job for the following week as if it isn’t work that needs to get done ASAP. I will never use them again!

Had a plumbing issue and they kept delaying on when they would show up for our appointment all day. The last time they said oh we couldn't get there until 8:00 p.m. is that okay and we said sure that's fine we just wanted to get this handled and then they never showed up and never called or texted after that. Terrible service.

If possible, please avoid this company like the plague. They have no sense of professionalism or courtesy. We have dealt with them on multiple occasions before and actually had to hire a different group of plumbers to assess the situation. We have them the information of where we were told the leak was by a group that can actually do their jobs.They completely disregarded our comments and continued to do whatever work they deemed “correct”. We are only using them because the home owners association is forcing us to even though they have not been able to solve this problem for the past year and a half. They also just destroyed our entire shower wall because they are still unable to find the problem. 0/10
