Needed a plumber familiar with (and undaunted by) the quirky plumbing surprises an 80+ year old building can present so once again, and of course, I turned to Vanguard Plumbing for their expertise. The owner, Jan, is very knowledgeable and accommodating, quickly getting me on the schedule, and his tech, George, knows his stuff and did excellent work, as usual (he’s repaired/replaced a few things in ‘this old condo’, over the years). With his assistant, Chris, they worked a small miracle replacing a slow, old tub drain, replacing faulty shut off valves (including two, original red-knobbed room shut offs) and recapping an above-floor capped radiator pipe so it’s now below the floor so my new marble flooring will be obstruction-free! I also really like how accommodating they all are with all of my questions. I don’t want to get in their way, but I do appreciate being able to learn a few things about our plumbing system (that’s even more ‘vintage’ than me!).

The dispatcher was kind and prompt with the appointment time. A plumber was sent who managed to to fix the issues within a short period of time. I was impressed with the quality of their work and I would definitely contact him again for any future plumbing issues.

I believe that there is a very professional attitude. The quality of the work is excellent. Work is done efficiently. They have always been on time. They are very responsive to requests and have always been willing to meet the customers needs.

I have used Apex several times on emergency calls at the two facilities that I manage. Every time they show up quickly, diagnose the problems and have provided me with a quick and affordable solution!

Henry was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and did excellent work. He came out same day in a timely manner to fix gas leaks in basement and stayed until the job was done. I will definitely use for future work and recommend highly to anyone looking for a plumber.

I called Burris & Son for a furnace check at 8:30am and Mr. Burris arrived and fixed the problem by 11:30am. Mr. Burris is respectful, honest, reliable, knowledgeable and offers reasonable prices for service. Highly recommended.

Dominick came to our house this afternoon to clean a drain in a clogged sink. We tried calling several other plumbers and no one else got back to us. Dominick answered the phone right away and was able to schedule a house call the same day. He was easy to communicate with via text message and email and called when he said he would to let us know he was coming.

The work itself was taken care of professionally and the sink is now working perfectly. Dominick also inspected our sump and ejector pumps while he was here (for no extra charge!) and found that the battery on our sump pump was out of water and indicated that it may need to be replaced. He filled the battery up with water and gave me instructions on how to check to make sure it works. He also gave me instructions on how to replace the battery on my own if it did not work. In my experience it is not common for a contractor to help a homeowner find ways to avoid having to pay for extra services and truly speaks to Dominick's honesty.

I will certainly use Sinks-N-Sumps again.

I called Mike after hearing about him from a neighbor. I had a different neighbor let me know about a leak into her unit. I set up a time for him to come by and take a look. He showed up on time, wore gloves while he worked and was able to confirm the “O” ring needed to be replaced. He was done in under an hour! He then checked to make sure it filled and flushed properly. I highly recommend.

The team at Avantel Plumbing recently installed a new backflow preventer in my home and I couldn't be happier with their work. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and left the work area clean. I would definitely use their services again.

I worked with Sam to replace a flame sensor on our water heater. We recently re-did our floors and he was able to assess the issue over the phone given his knowledge from previous work. I had a big problem at home with completely clogged bathtub. That was in the evening and we couldn't even use it. I called this company and the plumber named Ben came and did the miracle job. I say miracle, because there was a problem with access to the pipes, since we live in quite old building.Ben, as well as the office lady were very nice and professional. The whole service was fast and they were courteous enough to waive some fee for us.I will definitely call the again if any plumbing issue should occur in the future!

Not happy at all. They did work for me. I'm still having issues. They said they would come this morning, and when I call, my call is ignored. They didn't keep their appointment this morning. They offered a 30 day warranty and don't keep their word. I will not use again.Very unprofessional. Very disappointed.

I called plumbing technician Josh from RODDING ROOTER To rodd out my main line and he did a marvelous job he unclog the lines and he changed all my old galvanized water line pipes with new copper blue type heavy-duty water lines I had an a friend that is a city inspector come over to check it and he said that Josh did a great job. Price Was Affordable Josh Was Responsible and Respectful. I will hire this company again and recommend rodding rooter to Friends and family
