Best Water Service Repair /Replacement in Wichita KS

Wichita plumbers performed an excellent job replacing my gas-powered hot water heater. As he worked, he was thorough and answered all of my inquiries. Excellent service from Wichita Plumbing.

Michael H. was very courteous, friendly, and helpful, explaining exactly what he was doing and showing me along the process of getting my basement drain unclogged. He also took care of and cleaned up the deteriorated drain cover, which was the cause of the stoppage, and was careful to not track in anything from his boots or his machine in the house. Really appreciate that! When asked, he advised me and answered my questions on how to keep the drain from clogging again.

We had a mysterious leak with a squishy carpet in our son's old bedroom downstairs. Danny came to check out the drains (wasn't the problem), had another company advise to check the foundation (not it), and on a friend's advice, turned off the water main and leak stopped. Called Rooter Plumbing back and Danny fixed a leaking corroded incoming water pipe right under the kitchen sink between the ceiling and the upstairs floor. That slow leak did a lot of damage as we didn't detect it, but Danny was personable, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and fixed the pipe in less than an hour! He also helped us with the paper work for the insurance! Appreciated his help tremendously!

Britt and Nathan came out to my home and did some incredible work. They helped me fix my issue and determine the cause of the problem. They were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and took time to explain what they were doing. I highly recommend if you’re in need of some plumbing work done.

Kyle was very pleasant to work with and took the time to explain every detail of the task. He answered questions and explained the reason for part of the task.

The tech was very helpful and knowledgeable. Showed a lot of professionalism, very good job done by him, will call y'all in the future.

Honestly don't how how to describe these guys other than phenomenal and caring. I was calling these other bigger businesses and their prices and the things they were wanting to replace and work on had me stressed out. These guys came in checked out my issue and were able to fix me up at what I felt was a much fairer price. I hope I never have anymore plumbing issues but if I do I'm calling them.

Unfriendly, quick to not help

We were very pleased with our service today. When I called to book the receptionist was very knowledgable and explained pricing. Our plumber Tony arrived on time, did a great job, and stayed to make sure the problem was fixed before he left.

They were prompt for coming to look at the project. Both guys that came out looked at the project and gave me a verbal bid, nothing in writing and in my humble opinion should have been a pretty close estimate vs. if you do it this way 700-1500 and if you do it this way 2000-3500. The project wasn't that large and they had all of the information to bid it within a couple of bucks either way. Not impressed. Additionally no follow up and it has been 2 weeks.

Update 06.21.21: Once I posted about my experience, they called me back, and gave me a closer quote on the project. Quite high but a quote none the less, so they did what was requested.

I used Lyday because I was forced to do so through my home warranty company, American Home Shield. Lyday did not pull a permit to do the work on my house, below slab repair, and then did not have it inspected. The work done was not done to code and a plumber that came to my house later for a different reason was appalled with the work that was done. He asked me if I had done the work myself because it was unsafe and not done to code. He reported the work to the city inspector, at which time he said no work permit was ever paid for, and no attempt for an inspection was ever made. This project was about $1800 through Lyday and I am currently paying $3000 to have it redone by a qualified plumber. Future customers beware. I work hard for my money, and I really feel taken this time around. I will never use Lyday or American Home Shield for anything ever again.

Everyone I’ve worked with here has been awesome! I had to replace the line from the meter to the house and they did a fantastic job. Ben and Trent went above and beyond to get my water working again. I appreciate how the guys- from consultation to repair work- took the time to explain things to me. Excellent quality, excellent service.
