When in need of a plumber Lyday Home plumbing is the way to go because of his professionalism and friendliness. He checks all points to make sure everything is working properly before leaving the job site.

It been raining all night and all morning. My basement is flooded but Lyday Home Plumbing saved the day. My sump pump motor blew out and they came quickly to replace the pump as well as took the time to explain what they were doing and preventative tips to help make sure it doesn't happen again. Home warranty company sent them out June/July. Plumber pulled out very few roots and told me my sewer was beyond repair and needed replaced. Sewer line backed up again so I called out a different company. They checked sewer with a camera and said sewer line is not bad enough to have any further repairs done at all. Lyday didnt snake far enough. To not do your job correctly, then lie and say my sewer line needs replaced is ridiculous. It's either them being extremely unethical or extremely incompetent. Call anyone else.

My first interaction with Lyday was via Mychal, a plumbing apprentice. He did everything he could to fix my problem, going well beyond the call of duty. He even got his equipment stuck in the sewer line and had to call for assistance, which arrived promptly. The interaction was extremely positive.

My homeowner's insurance and the home warranty left me high and not-so-dry, but the folks at Lyday did not. Brian returned the following day, bringing a diverse crew of people to replace the damaged part of my sewer line and the cleanouts beside my home.

It's clear that Lyday plumbing believes in building relationships and creating positive expectations. Office staff were brought out to observe the work, and have each of the processes explained. Likely, this is so everyone that answers a phone can relate to, and understand, the problems of the customer.

Everyone they brought to my property to contribute to a solution was great. The office staff, backhoe operator (Richard is awesome), city inspector, and the master plumber himself were courteous, and helpful. The organizational nature of Lyday Plumbing was cohesive, with everyone communicating with each other in a streamlined, and efficient manner.

I asked them questions about permits and a city ordinance probably outside their areas of expertise. They made calls and got me the information. When I asked questions or needed documentation, they provided it to me. When I needed things to happen quickly, Lyday Plumbing made it happen.

It's still early, but so far, the repairs seem to have worked. I was given lots of good advice on how to extend the life of my line. The price was more than fair considering the nature of the work, and I am at the time of writing this, very satisfied.

I received a quote for $ 2000.00 to fix my problem, Lyday plumbing came out and did
a great job for $ 500.00. would recommend unconditionally.

their employees are working hard in a time manner, some business would keep it long for man hour labor but these dudes are fine

We had some serious plumbing issues under our house and in our backyard. The workers were very attentive, experienced, and quoted me an accurate price. I hope to not need plumbing services anytime soon, but if I do, I will be calling them again!

I had a great experience with Lyday. Mychal was very professional and you can tell he really loves what he does and cares about being precise and thorough. They were sent out by my home warranty company after another plumber had been out and had not been able to fix my faucet properly. Mychal did a thorough job and found that my faucet was corroded. I am now getting a brand new faucet from the home warranty company due to Mychal's attention to detail. I will definitely call them in the future and refer them to others!

Glad we found Lyday! Great service, good work, reasonable prices. They have done several things for us including replacing a garbage disposal, a toilet and a hot water heater. Recently I had a leak in the laundry room and Brian Lyday was here and fixed it about an hour after I called in! Easy to contact and everyone is friendly.

My main water valve broke and was so old I had to replace Matthew was so amazing I will not be using anyone else. Thank you for your hard work and amazing quality of work.

I called about installing a water heater in our mobile home. They came out within an hour of calling them. Helped put a reasonable price water heater in our mobile home and we paid cash and they took off the price for paying cash. They will be our plumbers from now on.

Not professional. Minutes after walking through my door, Andrew with Lyday was asking my age and if I was married or lived with anyone. The leak I was having inspected required access into the attic. He insisted that I should see the attic for myself and offered to put me on his shoulders so I could see into the attic too. Before leaving he told me that I was beautiful and if I ever felt uncomfortable or unsafe that I can request not to see a certain person or company from my warranty company in future events. Great to know! Andrew will not be invited back.

The bad part is that they cashed the check I wrote 2 months after I wrote it. Sorry, but it does not take 2 months to cash a cheque, taking that long to do so it is not professional.

We called and asked for a quote and within an hour of calling someone was at our house and our faucet was being worked on. Very professional and Reasonably priced! Great customer service!

We had Andrew come out to repair a clogged bathroom sink. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We will absolutely be calling Lyday and requesting him next time we have a plumbing issue. He was wonderful!

These guys have always done a first class job. There was even one time when the faucet just required a simple tightening and they didn't even charge me a service call. Always on time and some of the most reasonable prices in the city.

This company t is pathetic, just because it was a warranty claim, they gave me a ridiculous price to replace water lines and gas lines even though it was ok and up to code. I called to ask questions about just leaving the existing lines because I didn't have the almost $700 to replace those lines and haul away the old one. Insurance covered the part and labor but this company tried to get me for unnecessary parts and when I called, they said they would have the technician call me back but never did and when I try calling now, it goes straight to voice-mail and voice-mail is not set up so you couldn't even leave a message if you wanted too. This company is a rip off and I would not recommend them to anyone. Definitely not a reputable company.

I recommend Lyday plumbing. Every person that I interacted with were friendly, professional and helpful. My repair was done in an efficient professional manner. The pricing that I had was fair with my experience.

Allow me to begin by saying, that I had NO idea that a PLUMBER was the professional to call to repair a gas leak. Long story short, we called Lyday Plumbing after smelling a gas leak in our home. The gas company shut off the gas to the entire house for obvious safety reasons. We were without gas heat or the ability to prepare food ( gas range) overnight. Matthew from Lyday Plumbing came out the next day and was able to isolate 3 separate leaks in our crawl space in the lines that lead to our gas fireplace. He shut the gas off to the fireplace in our crawl space so we could at least have the gas company restore gas to the rest of the house ( weather was dipping into the 30’s overnight). He was also able to provide a reasonable estimate of what it would cost to repair the lines. Matthew was very knowledgeable, personable and professional! We will definitely be calling Lyday Plumbing - and requesting Matthew specifically in the future! - Lamar & Cheryle Henderson

The contractor offers great service. I have been using Lyday's services for over 2 years now and I am very happy with every result.

I needed an emergencyplumber on a Saturday morning and they were sent by my home warranty company. They arrived quickly, were professional and performed a quality replacement. I would definitely use them again.

INEXPERIENCED.
Spent severl hours attempting to find leak. Even consulted supervisor to finally conclude it was a roof leak. I arrive home from work and immediately turn the water valve off to determine that it was irrefutably a plumbing problem (very consistant leak stopped). I then looked upstairs, under the sink, nearest where leak could be coming from and found both hot and cold valves seals were bad. In 20 minuest I did what this company could not, I am not a plumber. So calmly, expecting a quick fix sense there 6 hour issue of not knowing if it was plumbing, was magicly solved, of course I call to get the plumber back out to finish the job. And basically the response was that this was a different issue and they need another 65 dollors to come out and try again.. No apology. No remark about wrongfully suggesting roof issue. No mention about cutting my wall down without getting it approved by the company which claim was responsible for. I cannot believe they didnt think to shut the water off to deduce wether or not it was a roof leak or not. I used the word incompetent once i started to hear the phone reprisentitive started to get defensive and clearly not interested in helping, then hung up on me. Waste of money and a waste of time, insurance company is having them pay for damages to wall currently. Franlkin just found out it was the undersink stops and is replacing them, all done in less time lyday was here!

After having multiple terrible experiences with the plumbing company our warranty company usually contracts through, we requested another company to be sent. They sent Lyday and we always call to request them, now. The office staff is extremely helpful in how to get the most out of our warranty coverage. She was also very helpful in recommending what to inspect for a new home purchase and telling me how to look up all the old permits for that address on the city website.
They are always straight forward and honest, and they do good work. I recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber.

It's interesting you're responding to my review 5 years later, clearly shows you don't care about your customers. We used your company (5 years ago now) and it was a horrible experience. You said you were going to come out and never did. Then you finally came out and didn't fix the problem but charged us anyway. We had to hire another company to fix the problem. Terrible customer service and company. Do not use.

They were very friendly and professional. They were very prompt. Did the work in a short amount of time for a very reasonable price. Explained everything they were going to do. Told me what preventative method to use.

I called this company because they said they were 24 hours (called around 7pm) I had one person tell me they would get back with me but no one ever did. I then received a text message and will post that shortly after . I called back around 10pm because I had no clue who was texting me until I called the phone number from someone else’s phone. They had blocked my number. Haha, if you’re black I strongly suggest not even trying this company

Our plumber was amazing and even better a female!!!! As a woman alone during the day, it made me feel better having a female plumber. She was very knowledgeable and fast.

I used Lyday because I was forced to do so through my home warranty company, American Home Shield. Lyday did not pull a permit to do the work on my house, below slab repair, and then did not have it inspected. The work done was not done to code and a plumber that came to my house later for a different reason was appalled with the work that was done. He asked me if I had done the work myself because it was unsafe and not done to code. He reported the work to the city inspector, at which time he said no work permit was ever paid for, and no attempt for an inspection was ever made. This project was about $1800 through Lyday and I am currently paying $3000 to have it redone by a qualified plumber. Future customers beware. I work hard for my money, and I really feel taken this time around. I will never use Lyday or American Home Shield for anything ever again.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Quickly arrival and jumped right in to fix my issues at hand. Also provided tips for future issues that may occur and preventative measures on how to easily fix them. Highly recommend!

Warranty company sent this company out. The plumber was late, Insisted our line ran to the back of the house. It doesn't. The plumber ran his line out to 100 ft. Insisted we have a septic system. (We don't) Finally said he hit something at 140ft. Explained that our line is collapsed and separated from each other. He refused to run a camera down my line. he pulled out a tiny bit of roots. said he probably lost some along the way.
over 24hours of us as well as the warranty company calling them they finally got back with us. he did respond via fb messenger and stood up for the mess the worker left.
The Plumber left feces wiped all over the walls in my basement bathroom. I knew it was not going to be super clean but the guy didn't even lay doesn a drop cloth or use a wet rag to wipe down. He was a young guy and I had a house full of kids so i did not make a huge deal of it at the time. I just wanted my drains fixed. But to leave feces on the wall of a customer and also to touch stair rails and other things is gross.
I messaged company and owner responded by sticking up for his employee. Explained the warranty company doesn't pay them to put up plastic and keep the area clean.
We ended up calling in a different company for a second opinion. They had called the city to find out where our line met with the city before ever even getting here. Our line intersects with the city at the street. 51ft from the main clean out drain. The camera showed very clean clay drains. evidence of some roots but they explained they looked very well maintained for clay drains. (turns out previous owner did take very good care of the pipes and had them cleaned regularly.)
Lyday was snaking the city's drain. Our problem ended up being between our floor drain and the main clean out. (LYDAY NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT MY FLOOR DRAIN.) Not even outside the home. Yet he was insisting we needed an entire new sewer line.
The second company even called the city and the city was out to our street same day and cleaned it out. Just to be sure it was not an issue on their end. Lyday could have handled this whole situation differently. review would have been completely different. That said, Even though the plumber came out was a slob, he was nice and tried to answer all my questions. or maybe he was just trying to make me believe we needed a whole new sewer line.

Lyday came out right away and fixed our problem with our plumbing. They were fairly priced and we were happy to use them again and found that they were consistent in their quality of work!

I have old rental properties that are beginning to have pipes rust out. Due to the severity some of them are more than I can handle as far as breaking them loose and/or cutting them out. Called Lyday for assistance on a T between the kitchen and the bath. Appointment was at 9am, they showed on time, gave a very reasonable quote, and performed the work then and there. I am not on site most of the times, and they handled payment remotely for my convenience. They will be receiving my future business based on this interaction.

Very nice company. Had one company give us 2 different quotes depending on cash today, or waiting until tomorrow. Lyday was very honest and upfront. They were able to put us at ease after the first shady company made us feel like we could not trust anyone for a honest price. They were there when they promised to be there and work was completed and city inspected within a couple of hours. I would recommend them to anyone!! Nice work!

These folks are what they say they are. Fast effective and friendly. I'll use this business for all my plumbing needs. I never give 5 stars, but they your your back. They treat you like family.

I had an issue with my water heater and Lyday walked me through fixing it over the phone at no charge. I recommend this company.

Called plumber on weekend to inspect a slow drain. Was able to come over within 48 hours on my own schedule (after 5:00 pm on a weeknight) to snake and make drain fully functional again. Even though it was full of grease, snaking was done so carefully that none ever ended up on the carpeted floor. Sound advice was given on follow up treatment and the cost was cheaper than many home warranty plans. Would definitely have Brian back to take care of plumbing needs.

Christian is a miracle worker! He’s professional and a hard worker. He truly cares about the customer. He managed to get our sump pump replacement covered by our warranty even though the warranty company was trying to be a pain in the rear about it. Christian didn’t give up. He got it taken care of and replaced quickly before even more rain comes! I am beyond thankful for this young man and for Lyday! Absolutely great company. We’ll be making sure we are assigned to them any time other issues arise! Thank you for being such an awesome company and saving the day!
