Our Technician arrived on time and did all the work we requested on our maintenance contract and in addition fixed the Humidifier that is tied into the HVAC system. Very professional and efficient in the work that he did. Explained what they found and verified that it works as the manufacturer designed it to work.

I don't leave reviews very often, but Midwest Mechanical was exceptional. Rather than try to upsell me into a costly repair, the tech told me I could likely fix it myself and told me where to get the part. I am looking at replacing my entire HVAC system soon and will definitely be using Midwest Mechanical!

Billy was very professional & polite. We wanted to be ahead of the game & have a general maintenance done to our ac unit before summer hit. Billy did tell us we should think about saving up for a new unit as we have an older unit wher parts are harder to come by and that the cooling system is pretty much outdated. We definitely recommend Billy & Midwest Mechanical for service & will be calling them 1st when we need their services again.
Installed our complete system in 2014 in the middle of August. Worked long hours to make sure we had AC. Great customer service.
The maintenance check was very thorough and Lee explained the system to us. They were professional in manner and wore covers on shoes while in the house. Midwest Mechanical will be our go-to company for heating and air.

Timing is never on your side when AC stops working. Midwest was able to send tech that day to service AC along with providing quotes for replacement units. Later the weekend AC just decided to stop working and within one call the owner had me scheduled for Monday morning install and realigned resources off new build projects because they understood the magnitude of the impact with a stretch off over 100 degree days coming. Would highly recommend for service, professional, on time, and very knowledgeable.

Midwest Mechanical is by far the best company to work with in Wichita! Anytime I have needed something, day/night/weekend they have been there for me within a day. Midwest Mechanical replaced not one but two AC units at my office building, of course when it was 100 degrees outside. It was the first time they had worked on a project for me, but they jumped right on it and I was back up and cooling off in record time!!
Had heating issue over the weekend when it was bitter cold. Reached out to Shon and he had a technician at my home within an hour. Great service.
Midwest Mechanical put in a whole system for me a couple of years ago. I have been extremely happy with the operation of both the furnace and air conditioner. Today I called to join their spring and fall maintenance program.
Unbelievably, they actually had a time available
to service my air conditioner today. They will come again in the fall to make sure my furnace is ready for winter operation. My husband and I are not handy so when we were having some issues with our furnace I called them. They were very professional and quick and explained everything they were doing. They also did not over charge. Our furnace is working great and we (and our frequent guests) feel much more comfortable now.

I was looking into estimates for a new Central A/C unit. The owner of the company contacted me shortly after requesting a quote (on Mother’s Day of all days) and I had a person at my house the next day. The individual showed up at the exact time quoted to me and even contacted me shortly before to coordinate schedules.
They took the time to look through my entire system and let me know my options based on what they saw. They were up front about cost and necessity of the project and even suggested workarounds that may let us baby the system along a while longer. I received a no-pressure quote about two hours after the person left.
I highly recommend this company based on the price, professionalism, and quality of service I received so far. I plan use them for all my future service needs.

Midwest mechanical was amazing!!! When I noticed my AC unit froze last night I was nervous how much this was going to cost me and how long I would be stuck in the coming hear since it was a Friday. Midwest was highly recommended to me, by a friend of mine. I put in a request for a quote and with in ten minutes was quoted and had an appointment that same day. Lee called me about twenty minutes before he arrived so I was able to have the minimum disruption to my work day. I met Lee exactly twenty minutes later at my house. He asked if I wanted him to wear a mask because of the covid 19. I showed him the inside unit and explained the freezing. He took a look at the unit then went outside. He hooked up his meter and showed I was low on freon. He explained what everything on the meter said and what it meant. Explained the limitations of repair with r22 freon no longer being made. We recharged the system with a note to look at replacing the system here in the next year. Lee was incredible with his customer service. I will refer all HVAC work to Midwest. Thank you for you amazing and timely service.
My landlord was able to get an appointment set for about 28 hours after she called Monday morning. Lee was professional, friendly & expedient. He replaced the capacitor & cleaned the unit, getting our AC running in 20 minutes. I'm super impressed!

I was thoroughly impressed with Sams professionalism and knowledge. He knew exactly what the issues were, addressed them, and took care of everything. He showed me how to do routine maintenance and upkeep on the outside and inside units. I hope you pay your employees well, because they deserve every penny they get. He was also easy to get along with and friendly. As a Combat Vet with PTSD, kindness goes a long way with me. As it can be difficult to deal with people, and the added stress of a maintenance person can be jarring. But again, Sam was awesome. Thank you, Midwest Mechanical.
Fast and efficient, I called around 1pm because I no longer had warm air. They were pretty busy but told me that one person could come out around 3pm, he was there before 2 and had everything running in about 30 minutes and then waited to make sure that it stayed on and working. He also showed me a few ways to troubleshoot any problems in the future which is incredibly nice to know. I am very happy with my overall experience!

It was one of our 100 degree days when our air conditioner stopped working. We called Midwest Mechanical and Lee arrive in about 20 minutes. It was in the evening. He was friendly and very efficient. He checked the thermostat, the unit, and the outdoors unit. He wasn't sure if he had the part but he kept looking and found it. We had air conditioning as soon as he put the part in. This is the second time we have called. We will continue to use this company.

My experience with Midwest Mechanical has been great. They replaced my heating and cooling unit and have done maintenance on those units since I bought it. They are very professional, on time and let me know who will be showing up to do the service. I would definitely recommend them.
I called and got an appointment scheduled the same day. Lee was the technician that came out to fix the problem and he did a great job! He showed me what the issue was, and had the parts with him that were needed. He was done and my air conditioner was working again in about 15-20 minutes. Fast friendly service. Had installation of new AC/heater combination. All of the technicians showed up on time and completed work in a timely manner. Had an issue that needed rework. As soon as the item was identified to Midwest they quickly came out to fix the installation issue (basically next business day - I called at closing time on Monday and they were out on Wednesday). Would have rated 5-stars if follow up was not needed. Fully intend on using Midwest for ongoing maintenance check-ups.
We have been using Midwest Mechanical for about 10 years. I have only needed them a handful of times because they do such amazing work and they get right the first time. My units were old and in desperate need of replacement but Shon personally made sure they continued to work until I could replace them. On the hottest day last summer on a Sunday my unit went down. He had us a new unit installed the next day. I trust this company to always do a great job.

Little bit expensive but job well done
My blower fan quit working and without ac we were sweltering ..called them this morning they were very busy but squeezed me in because i was with out ac.....they have also done maintenance work and installed my heating system... they have great customer service and their technicians are professional helpful and friendly .i would recommend them 100 percent.

Update 04/13/2020: 5 stars!!! Thermostat took a dive and Midwest Mechanical was out the same day and replaced the device. Lee, the technician, was professional and courteous. The measures the company is taking for protection of their employees as well as customers during the current nature of the times brought this homeowner peace of mind. I truly cannot recommend this company enough. They are awesome!!

I used them to service my AC. The tech was very nice and thorough. It was a very good experience and I will be using them in the future!

Fast response time (one week during the beginning of summer when everyone's AC is dying), but the tech was extremely rude, repeatedly misgendered my wife and glared at both her and our flags, was reluctant to service our unit, and then left as quickly as possible without waiting to make sure the unit was actually functioning properly (it wasn't!).
Do not use their services if you're visibly queer or have pride flags up at all.
