Had Brent Glaser replace my toilet valve. He showed up on time and was quick and professional. He also made it clear how much it would cost if I wanted him to do other things that I asked him about and made sure I approved before doing anything that would cost me more. It’s always a little scary using a company I haven’t used before, but thankfully this experience was very good. Thanks!

An edit a few months later. I requested their service for a second time this year on a different issue, and their resolution was once again quick and quality. I will certainly be calling them for my future plumbing needs.

I was very impressed with Mr. David Harper and his staff. They explained the process as they were going along, and made the process very easy to understand. I had other companies come out and the only thing they would tell me was that I needed to replace the entire line. When Mr. Harper and his staff came to look at the situation they stated that it really didn’t need to be replaced, and they gave me a an option to fix the situation. They have OUTSTANDING customer service skills. I will continue to use Mr. Harper and staff at Mr. Rooter for all my plumbing needs.

During the frigid weather my pipes froze and I called Mr. Rooter and was told it would be 2-3 days before they could help me. The plumber arrived, went under my house and came out and said I have found the problem and it is $454.00 to fix it. I signed for the work not knowing what all it involved except busted pipes. In less than 30 minutes he came back and said it is fixed and showed me pictures of the break and how easily he fixed it. When I saw the pictures I was in shock. The busted pipes I thought was a terrible mess was less than 2 feet of Plex and a T joining another pipe. It was fixed in less than 30 minutes. This company took advantage of a senior citizen and inflated their rates. that comes out to $15.00 a minute. No one in Wichita makes that kind of money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

Awesome job! My water heater started leaking and flooding my basement. Called Mr Rooter at 1:00 on Friday. They showed up at 3:30 and had a new one installed before 5:00. I couldn't ask for better service. Thanks, guys.

Dayton came by the same morning that I had called to schedule the appointment, and he was able to successfully clean my sewer line to the main. It took several passes as there were tree roots clogging the line, but Dayton was persistent and was able to confirm the fix with the line camera. The work also comes with a 6 month guarantee, so my wife and I were more than pleased with our service.

We had to install a clean out and clear the roots from our sewer line.

Scott and his team did an excellent job, were well prepared and timely, answered all of my questions, and were very professional.

My residential sewer was backing up for 3 days in a row….we’re talking poo in the basement when we would run any water, flush, try to shower, etc.😶 The first company I called (Reddi) couldn’t figure it out through the first 2 days. I lost faith in them and called Mr. Rooter. Brent with Mr. Rooter came out on day 3 and figured it out in no time at all!! The clog/problem was in the city main, and he was able to fix it ALL that day. Including our sump pump that had been ruined in the process! The service both over the telephone and in person from Andre was just wonderful. Very, very nice folks, and very prompt! Two hours from me trying to fix something at a sink, and making it worse, and having to call for help, to Andre putting his tools away and writing up the bill. Quite impressed!

I found myself in need of snaking my tub drain on a Sunday. Super easy to contact; they called due to a cancellation & came earlier than expected. Thirty minutes later—problem solved. Was expensive but somewhat expected & I couldn’t have fixed it myself.

Brent and Dallas from Mr Rooter went above and beyond to solve the mystery of the water leaking from our attic. They were courteous, meticulous and thorough and found the problem and replaced the cracked pipe efficiently and carefully. The company is very professional as are its technicians!

They ran the camera down clean out and saw it was clogged, after 25 years of use. Suggested using the hydra scrub and gave me a estimate. Ended up using the hydro scrub, also rinsed out the line, to check flow ,then went back and used camera to make sure clog was gone and flow was good in both clean outs. They were very nice and professional.

First, they came out on a Sunday emergency call. Assessed problems. Did all necessary to stop further damage. Then came back first thing Monday morning, replaced hot water heater, resolved other plumbing issues re pipes, water etc for refrigerator. All this in the cold rain. Top notch professionals with pleasant personalities. Excellent communication pros to customers. Highly recommend. Great reps for Wichita.

From the call into the office to schedule an appt, everyone was so helpful and nice! They were able to quickly get me in the very same day. I was given a call when they were headed my way. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with Mr. Rooter. They have done several small jobs and a large project at my house, and they always, Professional, courteous, dependable, and on time.

About a month ago now I used Mr. Rooter for my plumbing issues and they sent a service technician by the name of Brent Glaser to help me and my family with our services and I gotta say, this man was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish!!! He went out of his way to help us with our plumbing issues and even checked a couple of other things for us in the house and was absolutely wonderful to my wife and 3 year old! He was so nice and so considerate of our problems and did an incredible job and he even kept his shoes covered for us when he came in and out of our house, wore a mask, didn't complain, and did his job to perfection! We felt absolutely comfortable with him being in our home and he definitely made my family and I feel like every penny was worth him being here that day. That man DESERVES A HUGE RAISE!!! I've had other plumbing company's come and clean my drains. The two guy's that came and worked on cleaning my drains were very friendly and very good. They had a hard time with my 1912 plumbing but they got it all cleaned out. I'm glad I called them I would have never got my drains clean on my own. It's hard to find professional people to take pride in there work. I do almost everything that needs done because I'm tired of professionals that don't do the work properly or not to code.

Brent W and Dallas was our service technicians. I am so pleased with the service they both provided. They were both professional and polite and were able to do the repairs that same day. I was so glad Mr. Rooter answered the phone and sent someone right away. I strongly recommend this company.

Best plumbing company in town!

Our outside water pipe ended up busting on us and our technician Brady had it fixed in no time flat. Price was very reasonable, and Brady was very personable. Definitely will be using these guys in the future!

Mr. Rooter Wichita, came to my rescue. I had the sewer line back up and yuck water was in my basement. They came the same day I called. Dayton Carolina was the service technician. He was fabulous, clean, respectful of my floors and walls, well spoken and knowledgeable about his work. He was efficient and explained our problem, fixed it and cleaned up where he worked. It WAS a great experience. I'll call them whenever I need help with a plumbing problem.

Quoted my elderly parents $1200 to fix a broken shower diverter. Replaced it myself with $10 part from Lowe's.

Service Tecnician Brent Glaser arrived on time and did a proper job for a fair price. I paid extra for a camera view after the Brent cleared the line, and it was more than worth the price. The monitor showed a substantial hole the snake had bored through the root-tangle clog. Brent then ran a larger bit through the line a second time without an extra charge to clear out the remains. He was polite, competent, and professional, and he fixed the problem. I'm keeping his business card.

Mr. Rooter came out to fix a service entrance pipe to the house that broke off at the foundation. They were very quick to come out and on time. Highly recommend.

Mr. Rooter came to my rescue on a cold winter night. I called around 3pm and the service man Danny worked late, but had my new water heater installed by 8pm. He was qualified, friendly and efficient. The quality of his work was good. And he installed ventilation for free.

Brent and Dustin came out to our home right on the time we scheduled for. They diagnosed the problem quickly and got to work immediately with their dig crew. After the work was complete they verified the repairs with a camera so I could understand what was done. Brent Dustin and the dig crew were very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Jon was amazing today. He showed up before he thought he could, worked very efficiently and diagnosed our problems! He did a very accurate assessment of the next steps to correct our problem and called for back up assistance and additional equipment! He and Brent did a great job of getting our drains open and did multiple tests to make sure they had everything open, they cleaned up the area where they had to work and made every effort to make sure all was good before they left. They left contact info in case we had any issues or questions and said to contact them if anything came up. Michael H. was very courteous, friendly, and helpful, explaining exactly what he was doing and showing me along the process of getting my basement drain unclogged. He also took care of and cleaned up the deteriorated drain cover, which was the cause of the stoppage, and was careful to not track in anything from his boots or his machine in the house. Really appreciate that! When asked, he advised me and answered my questions on how to keep the drain from clogging again.

We had a mysterious leak with a squishy carpet in our son's old bedroom downstairs. Danny came to check out the drains (wasn't the problem), had another company advise to check the foundation (not it), and on a friend's advice, turned off the water main and leak stopped. Called Rooter Plumbing back and Danny fixed a leaking corroded incoming water pipe right under the kitchen sink between the ceiling and the upstairs floor. That slow leak did a lot of damage as we didn't detect it, but Danny was personable, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and fixed the pipe in less than an hour! He also helped us with the paper work for the insurance! Appreciated his help tremendously!

They were out within 45 minutes and were super helpful explains what was wrong and getting it fixed right away!

$550 for absolutely nothing. We won't be using this company again.

Brent explained what the problem was with the water heater. It's working great now after following his advice. We will follow up with a bick mason or a HVAC company to vent the dryer properly.

Dave came out and assess the problem and get it fixed up quickly. He also managed to find a pretty serious leak while looking over things once the job was finished which probably prevented some serious issues.

Called the day before and had 8:00am appointment scheduled. I was told “See you then” and ended the phone call. The next morning, no one shows up. At 7:55 they tell me they have a tech ready to send my way. You shouldn’t need text confirmation to follow through with a scheduled appointment and specific time. And then only texting 5 minutes before the time saying THEY are ready asking if they can come out still. Didn’t have my phone on me, was expecting what was planned. This is your customers time. Will take my business elsewhere.

Prices exceeded common sense for a half an hour job , 4 hundred dollars, to replace a 50 dollar shower cartridge

The 2 gentlemen went above and beyond their job to help us locate pipes and problems with our water lines so we can replace them. They were great!!!

I’ve had Mr Rooter plumbing out twice for two separate issues. Brent Weekley was able to help me with a water line issue outside, he explained what he was doing as he did and the pricing was reasonable and they were upfront about it before doing the work. Jon-Eric Kilts was the technician who came out and ran a sewer camera down our line. He let us view the monitor as he ran it down and showed that our line is in great condition. Helps that the office staff is very friendly as well! :)

Used service to replace shut-off valve under sink. $160 for less than 20 minutes of work. They selected that service in their app, so they knew the price ahead of time, but wouldn't tell me on the phone. They did an okay job (I question the quality of the valve they used), but overall I think their service is a poor value and would recommend looking elsewhere.

We discovered that our basement floor drain was backing up at about 7:30pm and Mr. Rooter had a plumber out to us by 9:00pm. Jesse worked hard for over two hours, but was unable to clear the blockage. Nevertheless, Mr. Rooter had a crew out in the morning to make a temporary fix so we could use the sewer system again.
While it took five business days to get the crew out to install the cleanouts in the backyard and another 4 business days to get my fence back up, the job was done well and $550 under the initial estimate. It was worth the wait.
Overall, I found the customer service skills of the people with whom I had contact (Jesse, Chris, Scott, and Jeff) to be top notch. I hope I never have to call a plumber again, but if I do, I'll be calling Mr. Rooter.

Incredibly impressed with how fast they were. Tammy was very sweet on the phone and Brent and Dalton were there swiftly and fixed my issue promptly. I was imagining having to wait, so I’m very happy with this level of service.

Wouldn’t fix a 2 year old hot water heater they sold, instead trying to sell another hot water heater - for $2200. Total scam. Wouldn’t even try to diagnose their previous hot water heater. They’re not in the fix it business. They’re in the replace it business.

Great work, done right and answered all questions

Do not do business with this company. They employed unskilled plumbers that have very little to no experience. I was charged for two different attempts at clearing my clogged pipes with no luck for a grand total of $800. I had to call another plumber that got it unplugged and charged me less than half that. I assure you they will tell you that you need a new pipe and charge you a crazy amount to replace it. Do NOT fall for this and call a professional. Again, they will try to sell you on something you do NOT need when they get there.

July 30, 2019 early afternoon. Blew off an in-line filter in our basement allowing full flow water down to the floor with encroaching into other rooms.
Fortunately, I was able to make it to the shut off in time but this left us with no plumbing services and much clean up. I called two other national chains but they were 36 and 48 hours out.
I turned to Mr. Rooter and got a very courteous dispatch who was genuinely concerned for our circumstance. I believe her name is Tye. She did her magic and got us a repairman to our home within the hour. Wow !
Our repairman, Nate Warnke, professional from the moment he arrived. He surveyed the situation and gave me a price for needed repairs immediately. I accepted and he was off performing the work with skill; and, he did not even care that I watched him all the way. I was able to learn about the fittings used and the pro press handheld that allowed him to complete the work torch-less. I was impressed. He completed by checking his work and even checked it a second time by my request.
My wife and I are so grateful that we are able now to put this behind us and happy that we were able to have Mr. Rooter perform the work.
I will definitely recommend Mr. Rooter and technician Nate Warnke.

I found a ceiling leak late in the evening in my basement and didn't know where the water was coming from. Nate arrived and found the problem for me. He didn't have the parts in his truck so came back the next morning to finish up. So grateful for the quick and good service! (and not charging $130 for an after hours call like another 24 hour plumbing company in Wichita).

Water line busted and water was dripping in my basement. Had to shut off emergency water valve. Just a quick call and they quickly came out within 2 hours! The work was done in less than 45 minutes! Tech also gave a $25 off due to being done in a short time. They have no trip charge within the Wichita area and free estimate! Mr. ROOTER did not disappoint! My tech (Brent) was fun to talk to and made the experience welcomed. Definitely will do business again in the future with them!!

The first Technician, Tim, arrived on time, was professional and friendly. He spent a long time trying to get an accurate location and cause for the sewer blockage, while referencing notes left by a technician on a previous but different repair. He then called his office to have another technician bring out extra equipment, at no charge to me so that together they could nail down the issue.
The problem was identified and clearly explained, with options for a cheap fix, not guaranteed to be successful, or a more expensive long-term solution which involved digging and adding a new clean out point to a previously inaccessible sewer line.
I chose the long-term fix. Scott, whom I believe is the owner, gave me a price with a few discounts.
It was more than I expected or wanted to pay to be honest, but now I have what I believe is a long-term fix for a 1950s clay sewer line that had no access for cleanout. They were able to take care of it the very next day.
2 years ago they did another repair at the distant end of that same line, the tap where it meets the city sewer, the failure was clearly visible as they showed me the camera going down the line.
That job too was done quickly and professionally, with every step and every option explained clearly. On this 2nd job Tim inspected that previous repair and showed me the camera and it is clearly still solid and clean.
All in all, this company has provided me with good technicians who know what they're doing, have patience, are polite and very professional, and so far I'm totally happy with the results of their work.
They will give you the big picture, and if like me you have a 70-year-old clay sewer line causing problems, bear in mind that you get what you pay for. I did.

Mike and Harold came out on an emergency service call. Not only on a Saturday but the Saturday before Christmas. They were super friendly and quick from the time of initial call to arriving at a solution to our problem. They also provided self help and preventative suggestions to help care for home. Brent was fast, professional, and knowledgeable about the issue and got us all fixed up in less than 3 hours.

They came quickly and were very clear about our problem and what it would take to fix. All the workers were professional and made sure that I understood my options before moving forward. My only criticism is that they would walk in or out and leave the door wide open. I was also told to use the enzyme cleaner in the pipes even though they were returning the next day to hydro flush, and the bottle of cleaner costs $50. Oof.

They came out to work on a sewer line that was backing up. They explained the issue and gave affordable suggestions about what would fix it. Both guys were very professional and friendly. They worked quick to get everything running again.

Had a water leak due to clogged drain line.. over flowed into basement ceiling and sheetrock damage. Mr. Rooter sent out Dayton to clear our drain..service was ahead of time and Dayton was very professional and knowledgeable..he checked with camera for the issue and then cleared the stoppage in short order..this nessescitated pulling a toilet to access the line..He handled all tasks promptly and efficiently..cleaning the area after completion...outstanding work..thank you Dayton and Mr. Rooter...

Plumber suggested the clog was local to the kitchen sink and not in the main line. Then charged $365 to clear the main line? The other option was $950. For a clogged sink. Then offered a free check-up of water heater, which was an excuse to plaster a giant red stop sign Mr. Rooter sticker over the sticker of the plumber who installed it, who happens to be a friend of mine, who I would have called had he been available. This was done without asking permission to deface the appliance (the sticker won't peel off). I think it's lousy business practice. The same guys had previously charged me $200 to replace a rusted cap on a capped water supply that was easily accessible, didn't have one on the truck, waited an hour on another guy, while this one bent my ear with his bulls**t. This'll be my last Mr. Rooter call. My other guy is a small outfit, but he just fixes and charges me for what's needed.

I had a sump pump that went bad. The service was impeccable! I really liked the service man that came out. He was very nice and worked quickly. I felt he was very honest with me.

Mr. Rooter's services were exceptional! Brady was the technician assigned to us and he was friendly, very knowledgeable, and explained everything all the work that was being done. He was extremely professional. He even took the time to checkout additional plumbing throughout our home to make sure everything was up to par and working correctly. If all of there staff is a professional and knowledgeable as Brady was, I will definitely be using them again.

Absolutely fabulous company! I called them to come and map my sewer line and determine if an outside cleanout is needed. They took the time to explain all possible options and let me participate it the mapping along side them so I could fully understand the issue. They were honest, professional and very well priced. After we had some work done a year ago, a concern came up and I called about it. I was impressed with how quickly Scott came out to check on my concern. He gave me an exceptionally reasonable rate and was committed to making sure quality work was done thoroughly.

They then proceeded to do what needed to be done to fix the problem which took several hours. He was very professional, great with our dog, and frendly. He had us taken care of in about 40 minutes. So I paid 75$ for the guy to run a snake down my toilet and fail. Then turn around and snake it myself an hour later with a loaned auger half the size from a family friend and I fix it. The plumber wanted me to pull up my toilet and was charging 295$.

Nate came out on a Sunday and was polite and fixed the issue. The price was a little high for the work that was being done, but Nate did a good job, didn’t leave a mess and was done within an hour.

We recently had water backing up into our basement. Out of the 15 area plumbers we called Mr Rooter was the first one to get back to us. After coming out to help unclog the drain initially they found that our sewer had disconnected from the main line. Thus our issue needed to be fixed sooner rather than later. The team at Mr Rooter pulled permits and called dig safe that afternoon and they were at our house first thing the next morning and they fixed us up good as new. We live in a subdivision and they also took great care in not tearing up our grumpy neighbors grass with the excavator. Their customer service is top notch, from the staff in the office to everyone out in the field, and they know what they’re doing! Not only do they do good work, but their prices are fair too!

Not a professional company at all. The office never answers the phone or their phones will pickup and handlg up in you. 1st came out very nice. Explained the issues and he sais yes our cables go.out past 250 foot to clean out a main. Perfect. He cleans the main it is good for a week. Main clogs up again. I call Mr. Rooter they tell me someone will be thrre after. No other time frame given. Grt home spent over an hour trying to get ahild of someone in the office and got ahild of no one. Phone kept hanging up and telling me they call couldn't he completed as dialed. Callrd their local customer service number and they tried calling a different number and same thing. This happened the 1st time around trying to get ahold of them. Tech finally shows up runs my drain again. I tell him to make sure he goes all the way to the city main. He said well our cables are only 100 ft. I said What? He said the other tech was probably in a hurry to get home it was his sons birthday. So don't do it. They are two expensive.

The guys were friendly and professional. They talked me through the problem and suggested options but were not pushy. Overall it was a good experience.

Brady was able to come out just a couple hours after calling. He was very professional and honest. His recommendation was to have the line hydo-jetted due to the amount of build-up on the line. Would use them again.

I was provided faster, better and less expensive service than my 2 previous services which were provided by 2 different local companies, but for the exact same service. Brady provided me with an immediate solution as well as a thorough disposition of the condition of my main drain line which he inspected with a camera (at no additional charge). I'm very pleased with the service and they will get all of my future business.

Called a month ago and IIIRC they quoted me $400 to change a faceplate and the head of a faucet on a tub. Quoted $250 to change the flange on a toilet. Did both in 20 minutes myself once I had parts. Can't recommend, maybe guy just didn't want to do the work

Fixed multiple leaks and thawed hot water line which then showed more leaks. Had to work in a muddy crawl space as well as under the house on a concrete slab. Got to me days before any other plumber would. First hot shower in a week.

Nate was on time and very helpful with installing my bathroom faucet and drain. I highly recommend Nate for any of your plumbing needs.

We called them on a Sunday evening about 5pm. They advertise 24 hour service. We had lost water to our home which meant no toilets and no heat as our house in on a water source heat pump. It was 15 degrees outside that night, but they said they couldn't make it until the next day. Fine, no one else would come out either so set up appt. The next day they showed up with the wrong parts and had to go back taking another couple of hours before our water was on. They literally installed 3 twelve inch pex lines and charged over $500. Worse yet, they disrupted our pipes causing another leak after they left. It was a very similar repair to the first one that they did, but luckily , this time I had the time to do it myself. It took me (def not a plumber) about 45 minutes to do and $25 of material. Then today I go down stairs and notice they graffitied my water heaters with large stickers to try to get more business. I asked my wife if they asked permission to put those there, and she said no.

The scheduling agent was courteous and helpful. Scheduling was very prompt and the technician arrived exactly when promised. The technician was professional and diagnosed the issue quickly. He also gave some recommendations for future preventative care that were appreciated. Issue was resolved quickly and we're very pleased with the experience.

I called Mr. Rooter on a Saturday at 10am and they sent a technician named Daniel out in less than 2 hours. Daniel was very friendly and professionally dressed. He immediately went to work on the problem. He took care of the issue in less than an hour. The price he quoted me was very reasonable. When I contacted Mr rooter it was to repair a burst piece of CPVC pipe in a crawl space beneath my home, and when Tim showed up on site he listened to what I knew of the problem and let me know how he'd like to proceed with his repair. His willingness to speak on the level with me and ask if I was alright with him exchanging the CPVC for Pex was extremely welcome.

Brent came to look at my water heater this morning for a diagnosis on why I couldn't keep my pilot lit. We discussed a few options and I opted to replace the unit. Great guy, super professional and was back the same day (soon after) and had my new unit installed in less than an hour. Can't recommend this service enough!

Arrived promptly actually before the time they originally gave me. I have a long drain 147' long. Had it hydra washed in two hours. Tech informed me of the condition of the drain pipe and gave me recommendations on how to avoid the root problem that caused the blocked drain.

I had Mr. Rooter come out a year ago and perform work for nearly $3000. I was told if i called within a year they would come out and clean my line for free. I called 10 months later, and waited for an hour for the tech to arrive. I was than told the line can only be cleaned if there is a clog or another issue. Very disappointed with their customer service and will NEVER use them again.

Requested a solution and a quote for a sump pump discharge problem. Upon review of my sump pumps in my basement, Brady from Mr Rooter discovered that one of my sump pumps wasn't working. I almost gave up in my search for a professional to assess my obsolete basement lift/grinder unit, but Mr. Rooter’s representative answered the phone and quickly connected me with the right professional for my job. The scheduling process was flawless and efficient and I was informed and updated via text messages so there would be no surprises.

My mother's house had a plugged sewer line and after a couple of failed attempts by me to clear the blockage we called Mr Rooter and they responded the same day. They discovered the blockage was due to a collapsed sewer line and 20' of the line would need replaced. Making matters worse is this section was under a concrete patio. We discussed our options and they came back the next day and fixed the issue. I'm very pleased with the work their crew did and the weather conditions they were working in was pretty miserable with it being cold, windy and rain mixed with snow. It turned out to be an all day job as I was told it would be and they stuck with it until the sewer was working again despite the weather conditions.
I would recommend Mr Rooter Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

Wow, whoever came out to my house (I should have got his name) was incredibly patient and respectful. My landlord initially called Bower’s plumbing to come out and they actually ruined my house…. We could not use any of the plumbing the next day. We had to call Mr. Rooter’s for an emergency on a holiday and they came out and fixed everything. Scott and Brent of Mr. Rooter removed our old 1-piece shower, then installed a new 48” Sterling 4-piece shower, plus new plumbing for the shower. Before the work was started, we were told and shown shower options and received a detailed estimate. In choosing a shower, we were offered much creative leeway. There was never any lag time in communication. The shower is exactly what we wanted and the installation looks perfect. After the shower was installed, they continued to work non-stop on replacing our water main shutoff valve, a damaged section of the floor and drain pipe for the toilet, the toilet flange, and the toilet shutoff valve. With the additional work they completed, our bathroom is now ready to have the floor tiled. All of the work was completed in one day. Scott and Brent each gave us expert advice and helpful information, which we really appreciate. Such as shower head placement, suggesting tiling above the shower if we wanted, identifying that our water main shutoff valve wasn’t working properly, explaining the floor repair, and even recommending a drywall installer to tape and mud. They were knowledgeable, polite, professional, organized, and efficient. Both were diligent in making sure we were happy with the product and service we received and completely cleaned up before leaving. Our experience with Mr. Rooter was excellent and without stress. We plan to use their service again.

I needed an out-door faucet replaced, and I'm not a plumber and didn't want a swimming pool in my basement, so I called Mr. Rooter. They were incredibly quick, not meandering or milling about, while still being friendly and professional. Four out of five simply because it was a touch more than I was expecting. That being said, I still plan on making them my first choice for future work.

Sewer scope inspection

When no other plumbing company would come out until my crawl space was completely dry (which could take 2 weeks), Mr. Rooter came to my rescue. I called on Friday and they had a guy out first thing Saturday morning. He found the problem and had it fixed within an hour and alas I had running water again. Thank you Mr. Rooter!

Having my main sewer line cleared of roots was a recurring problem. After clearing the line a camera revealed the source of my problem, a broken clay segment near the city tap. Scott came to my house promptly and reviewed my options allowing me to choose the most cost effective one for my needs. Before the work was done I called for other estimates and Mr Rooter was very competitive a even cheaper. I was kept informed throughout the process. The water jet cleaning was so effective that my drains run better that ever for the 30+ years that I have lived in this house.

They were able to get the job done in a timely manner and were all really nice and professional. My only issue is the job was quoted at 1750 and at the end it was $2800. Plumbing is a fickle job so I understand prices can go up but that was a huge jump. Also we have yet to receive a receipt explaining the reasoning behind the prices and were never explained them. Just thrown numbers at us after it was too late to turn back.

I had another leak near my underground sprinkler shutoff valve. They had come out a little over a year ago and replaced my sprinkler system champion valve. Once I realized that I had another leak, I called and they sent someone out immediately to shut it off. Took a couple of weeks or so but they came out and made the repair to a broken piece of PVC in about three hours. This seems to have done the trick. Since the leak was within a few inches of the valve they replace I thought they should have done this for free even though it was a couple of months past the one year point. Sadly this cost me an additional $900 +.

I had a main sewer line backup in my house twice. They came out and fixed both instances and used cameras to figure out what caused the second instance. At first I thought I was going to have to have my line dug up in my backyard but they were able to clear whatever was causing the issue. I was told I would love to sell you something but you don't need anything. If it were my house I would leave everything as is.

I know people have horror stories with plumbers but I have absolutely no reason to look for anyone else. Any plumbing needs should be handled by Mr. Rooter without question! I can't put into words how much I appreciate their honest, professionalism, and timeliness.

Made an appointment for late afternoon, and they called to see if it was okay that they came a couple hours EARLY! That was great! Austin took great care to identify where the leak was coming from, which was a faulty toilet seal at the floor level. Others had told me we would have to remove sheetrock on the basement ceiling to find the leak, but Austin took time and care to figure it out, and no ceiling was removed or damaged! He did neat, clean work, showed me the actual problem and the solution, and was courteous, kind, and respectful the whole way through. He even unclogged a sink drain while he was here at no charge! Very impressed with Austin, and will definitely use this company again!

Very POOR customer service. Believe me when I tell you these guys are money hungry, and will attempt to squeeze every penny out of you.

We called Mr. Rooters on a Tuesday evening at about 8 pm. The technician was very prompt and got to our house within the hour. He had to dig around the back of the house looking for a main drain cleanout, after not finding one he had to snake out the drains. He ran about 40 ft of snake into the drains and upon removal it worked! He was polite, honest, and upfront about all of the costs that may be incurred from his visit. They even have a service contract that will give you discounts on the services! I would highly recommend Mr. Rooters to anyone in need of a plumber.

Every stage of work done on replacing our main sewer line was done with great expertise. All the workers from front desk to pipe layer was easy to work with.

We were told that since we were choosing the more expensive option that we would get a year warranty on the service. However, as soon as the service was finished we were told that the warranty didn’t apply. They still charged us the same amount of money as if they would have given us the warranty.

Mr. Rooter was able to get a plumber to my house quickly even though they were short staffed and one employee had a personal emergency. They communicated well and finished the jobs in a timely manner.

They replaced a burst (frozen) section of supply line in the basement, to the sprinkler system outside. Another company had given me much more complex solutions (and higher estimates). Daniel did a great job creating access to the line and replacing it.
This is the 3rd time I have used them, and I highly recommend them. Plumbing repairs are expensive, and their (high) prices seem to be in line with others.

Brent (Weekley) had been out to my home on a previous occasion and has consistently shown more professionalism and expert knowledge than most of the contractors (for any service) I’ve had over the past five years. He replaced my water heater in one day, despite running into some challenges. Not once did I feel like he was frustrated or did I feel like less than a valued customer. He (and newbie, Leo) managed to change my home from a tank-water heater to a tankless in seven hours. Mr. Rooter quickly helped us out of a bind: our tank water heater sprung a rusted out leak in the bottom, AND the shut off valve wasn’t working. Water kept pouring onto the concrete floor in the basement. 15 minutes after our call to Mr. Rooter, Brent and Dallas were at our house working on the problem. Within an hour and half to two-hours, they were done and I had a new water heater that I likely won’t have to worry about again anytime soon.

Honesty, Fair Dealings, Great Service--I had to call a plumber to replace a garbage disposal while my husband was deployed. I called Mr. Rooter based on a recommendation from a friend. The plumber was courteous and professional, and I think did a great job. Later that night when I was able to speak to my husband, he noticed that the bill was higher than he would've expected. We spoke with Emily and she and the owner Scott went way above and beyond to make the bill right and make sure we didn't feel taken advantage of. We discovered a water leak in our kitchen about 6 PM one evening. Because Mr. Rooter had done a great job for us a year earlier, we gave them a call immediately. They were out within an hour, made a temporary fix, and arranged for a restoration service to come out. The next day they were out again, fixed the original problem we called for, and discovered we had another small leak as well. They fixed that one too. As always, they explained what they planned to do and gave us an exact price before they began the work. They are very professional, do great work, and are the kind of people you are comfortable having in your home. We highly recommend them.

Laundry drain backed up- they were responsive and had someone at the house within the hour. Courteous and cleaned up before he left. We are very appreciative.

They are NOT a 24 hour service provider! They came out yesterday & fixed the problem & now today (Saturday) they same thing is happening & I've been trying to call them for 2 HOURS. I keep getting a recording saying I'm reaching them during non-business hours, and to leave a message to have my called returned during the next business day. How is that emergency 27/7 service?!?!? What, are we supposed to wait till Monday to use the bathroom? Come on guys!

So over priced for a minor wet wipe removal ($424.00), I in all honesty could not recommend them to my worst enemy.

I discovered my basement room was flooded. I spent hours on the phone trying to find someone to help. Finally I called Mr Rooter. They sent someone over immediately to turn off my water. They came back Monday afternoon to fix the pipe. They are definitely my go-to plumbers now!

Be careful about the estimates and end cost. Be sure the whole cost is clear upfront. Additional work was recommended and end cost was excessive for the simple valve replacement performed. The work appears to be performed correctly, but was more than actually needed and overpriced. After the repair was completed, the technician mentioned a less expensive method that is commonly used. It sure would have been nice to have that recommendation before the work was done.

We had a “middle of the night” water backup due to sewer line had become plugged and the water softener waste water couldn’t bypass the clog and backup up into the basement utility area. Yes, middle of the night flooding truly is stressful. We immediately called Mr. Rooter.

Brady Basgall was the technician.

He arrived on schedule, professionally dressed, polite and very focused on making sure he understood our issue and fixing it on the fastest, less cost impacting way. He kept us informed of everything he was seeing along the way and advised of what would be the best solution to remedy.

After analyzing them potential cause of the water backup, he advised it might be in best interest to start out with scope first, to determine if it was an actual clog or other issue. The scope is much less expensive then going straight to a Rooter cable. Plus, he advised that most of the time, he clear a lot of the clogs with the camera itself, thereby preventing having to charge more for a Rooter cable. Plus, he advised that if the camera does find the clog and can’t clear it, and he would have to use the Rooter cable, he will then not charge the camera effort and merely charge the Rooter cable effort only.

Brady exhibited complete professional attitude the whole time he was here.

He was polite, professional and very focused on meeting our needs in the most efficient, economical and less intrusive method possible.

We have had an issue with the sewer backing up in our basement since we bought our house, 7 months ago. We've had other companies look at it but none could tell us what the issue was. We had used Mr. Rooter once before, at a previous location, and were very happy with their service. We called them again and they arrived exactly when they said they would. The technician was very helpful and ran his camera through the line. He showed me the video and explained the options for cleaning the line. We chose one of the options and two more guys showed up with the machine needed for the cleaning - one was the owner of the company! During the cleaning, they discovered the sewer line where it exits the house was damaged to the point that they recommended replacing it. He took the time to explain to me, as well as my husband and father-in-law over the phone. Not once did I feel pressured or like they were talking down to us. They just laid out the facts and took the time to answer all of our questions. We decided to replace the pipe and they had it done quickly. They were even careful not to destroy my rose bush - digging by hand around it so it wasn't damaged! We were very impressed with their professionalism and how hard they worked. Thank you Mr. Rooter!

I called at 8:00 a.m. and within 45 minutes the gentleman was out. He gave us two options for repairing the water heater and we chose replacement. He completed the work quickly and cleaned up everything. 5 stars for Mr. Rooter!

We had a good experience with Mr. Rooter. One of the managers came to do the final work, and he was able to complete the job quickly and much cheaper than a previous estimate. The entire team communicated well and the process went smoothly.

These guys have some extremely inflated prices. $349 to run 60' of snake into a sink drain to remove a clog. Call them if you want to feel like you were taken advantage of.

On time. Fixed our Issues quickly. Did not have to replace the whole inside of the toilet just replaced our seals. They could’ve told us we needed all new insides but did not. They also in the past hooked us to city water. Will use them again.

Very quick to come out and access the problem. It was a very cold day and according to other plumbers we had called, pipes were bursting all over Wichita. Our service technician, Brady Basgall was at our home within 20 minutes after we made the call. He was very professional in accessing the problem. He offered to us 3 options to fix the problem. There was no pressure from Brady while we discussed the options. Once a decision was made, Brady capped the pipe allowing us to use our water until the repairs could be made. There was no charge for this!!! We decided on a total fresh water repipe.

Brady and another service technician showed up promptly at the designated time. The work was done quickly and efficiently. He even added an emergency shut off switch for our convenience. We are very happy with the results and will gladly refer to anyone we know.

Easy to schedule. Service personnel was early and I received a courtesy call. My only dislike is that Mr. Rooter would not provide and details for fees other than the diagnostic fee. I would have preferred to call a few places and decide who to hire based on availability and price range.

Very nice, very professional and got it done quickly

The woman who answered the phone was professional, kind, and able to send a tech out immediately. The tech, Brady, showed up in a half hour - as promised - and quickly diagnosed the issue of our garbage disposal going bad. He provided options, specific pricing, and immediately replaced the disposal after we made our choice of product.

Brady also let us know about other services when I mentioned that we were considering some bathroom remodels. He was extraordinarily professional and courteous throughout his time here. I will definitely use Mr. Rooter in the future for our numbing needs!

I have a tenant where the sewer backed up on a Saturday!! I googled plumbers and called everyone on the list mr. Rooter is the only one who answered back and got the job done. Called at 8 am as a pipe had broken in bathroom the previous night and all the water to my house was shut off. Was immediately given an appointment for 8:30 and Daniel showed up promptly and on time. Water in your basement ? WE'll be right there. And they were. After exam of pipes with top of the line equipment..you have roots in your line... tomorrow we'll be out with the BIG equipment. And they were. If Mr. Rooter says it...you can trust that it will happen. And, it will happen with friendly, courteous, men who know what they are doing, get right to it and take as little time as they can to do it right the first time. What a mess, but what a relief. They arranged financing...All we had to do was stand by and watch. They didn't mind stopping to answer questions at all. We have had to have them before, on a lesser scale, but I can't imagine this service with anyone else....and we've had a few of THEM too. You and your lines are in good hands with the team at Mr. Rooter...count on it.

I called Mr. Rooter and talked to Scott Cochran the owner at 8:00 a.m. in the morning. He found out we had 2 small children that needed their bathroom and shower. Mr. Rooter had a full schedule but Scott asked Abigail his scheduler if she could find an opening to help us in today. At 10:00 a.m. Abigail called and said someone would be over in a few minutes to help us. That was incredible quick special service.

We had two small children that needed their bathroom. He cared a great deal that these small children would be able to live in their house immediately.

Tim was very professional. He arrived on time. After checking my Non working Water Heater (Pilot Light not staying on and 18 yrs old) He got me a new water heater. installed, replace and finished the same day. He stayed till the job was complete. I was a happy customer and would use this company again. They took care of all the paperwork and permits and notified city for gas company safety inspection

This company is a complete rip off. I wouldn't use them if they were the last plumber in the world.
We called them out to check an overflowing septic tank. The price was $195.00 to check and drain the tank. So far so good. They advised me that the tank needed some repairs after 40 years. They also wanted to hydraflush the line going from the tank to the drainfield. This was a hose stuffed down the hole and turned on for :20 minutes cost $545.00, next was a chemical treatment of 5 gallons of chemical poured down the hole to the drainfield..cost $1100.00, next was 10 feet of PCV pipe and some couplings..cost $1600.00 the whole job ended up running $4,300.00 WHAT A RIPOFF!!!!
Checking with the local plumbers union they advise the whole thing should have been a max of less then $1,000. if that.
Needless to say BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! Use them at your own risk!

Quick efficient resolution

Scott was very professional and they did a great job for my mother. They aren't the least expensive but you get what you pay for. They were able to fix all of the issues I had from using less expensive plumbers.

My go to for all my plumbing repairs

To set things straight, this is not a review of the quality of the work done. The job was well done and the plumber was very polite and professional. The review is for the price. In my opinion, $425 for an hour of work plus the drive time was a little steep. But, I needed the work done and didn't want to delay so it was my choice to go ahead and do it.
I would call an independent plumber next time and not a franchise.
