Had a great experience working with McMahon for our new high efficiency boiler. Mike was very helpful and patient in explaining our options and the pros and cons of each. They always answered my calls and emails in a timely fashion making scheduling easy and quick even during a very busy time of the year for them. The installation looks extremely professional and system works great. The installation team was very respectful and friendly (and a big hit with our dog!). My gas stove was sitting about 6 inches away from the wall because of a pipe coming out out the floor. Rich moved this pipe and now I don't have this big gap behind my stove anymore. Other companies wanted to go straight to breaking up the stone foundation to get at the pipe. Rich studied the situation and decided to try going at it from the top first. He learned that this would work and that going through the foundation in the basement would not have worked because of the way the pipes were arranged. He got the job done. He seemed very competent and trust worthy. (He also noticed that the sealant around my exhaust pipe from the water heater needed repair and he did it without charging extra for it.)
I would hire him again.
It was expensive though...I don't know if this is the going rate or not...

True Blue Plumbing & Heating was exceptional to work with! We replaced our old oil furnace and hot water system with new gas systems after getting the gas line brought to our house. Steve and his crew were terrific. They did the work over the course of 3 cold January days and sequenced everything so that we were not without heat or hot water for any noticeable length of time. They showed up at 8am when they said they would, they cleaned up after the work areas at the end of each day, the took care of the inspections with the city and National Grid and they were willing to answer all of the questions that we had about running and maintaining these 2 new systems. Karen, in the True Blue office, guided us through the MassSave loan process too. I would highly recommend True Blue Plumbing & Heating to anyone in the South Shore!

Johnny H was extremely professional thorough and helpful. He explained everything along the way took time to ensure I understood how my hvac units work and how best to maintain my units. He was also very polite and during these unfortunate times with Covid he was also very considerate in ensuring he used a mask, gloves and other care while onsite. Very nice highly recommend.

Chilli Willie's has excellent customer service. When I called to inquire about servicing of my HVAC system, the office manager was clear and thorough in explaining the options for services Chilli Willie's offered. I was then sent a follow up message that detailed everything that had been explained over the phone. My questions were answered thoughtfully, and I felt confident in understanding what services would be included in my appointment. The technicians were friendly, efficient, and explained their process. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to continuing the relationship.

This is by far the sleaziest operation in town. Came over to snake the drain, blew a hole in our pipes and then charged me 1200$ To fix his mistake as water poured through the floors into the basement. Put me in a situation where I had no choice but to agree to this price. What a JOKE! Avoid them at all costs, many many other options out there.

Total sham. He tried to charge me $6800 to replace my AC (less than 10 years old) entirely and charged me $250 for him to diagnosis that, while he was only here for about 30 minutes. Another guy is fixing it for $2400. He also undoubtedly made my AC problem worse while he was diagnosing it. It ran before he was here, and it completely stopped after he left. I'm assuming to cause some urgency in this summer heat and just have my blindly agree to his $6800.

I called with boiler issues and instantly spoke with someone that was knowledgeable about steam radiation systems. They asked a few quick questions and had someone sent out the first thing the next day which was a huge relief. The technician, Dave, was extremely friendly and fast. He gave me a thorough review of the situation and I never felt like he was trying to sell me on anything. The issue was fixed and hasn't come back in over a week. 100% recommend.
