2021 - Larson Plumbing did a great job for me again. I changed out 2 vanity’s that had 2 sinks in 1st vanity and 1 in the 2nd vanity. I followed the installation instructions that came with the faucets and mounted them to the vanity tops. Then I hooked up the supply and drain lines which took some modifications because they did not line up like the previous sinks/vanity’s. After 3 trips to Lowes and multiple tries, I had issues/leaks with all 3 sinks in different places. I reached out to Larson Plumbing which I have used in the past 2020 and scheduled a service call for my home. They put me on schedule quickly and sent Roy out to my home. In roughly 3 hours he took apart what I did incorrectly and reinstalled it the correct way. He explained what he did, was very polite and cleaned up after himself. Another fantastic job completed by Larson Plumbing. I am a fan and they can use me as a reference anytime.

2020 - Larson Plumbing just completed a project for me. Chris helped me with design, layout and fixture selection recommendations. This involved an ADA compliant bathroom that we had no idea what is needed. He provided recommendations on size of drain line and supply side pipe options and benefits. The employees he sent to our home were very professions, polite, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves daily. The whole process went better than expected and I will recommend Larson Plumbing to friends, family or anyone else I speak with that is looking for a good plumbing company. I have used Llona three times at two different properties and had nothing but a GREAT experience each time --- totally break the contractor sterotype. The first time I had a leaky valve at the day of closing for a property I was selling -- they came out and got it fix just as they said they would. Although they knew I was desperate, they didnt take advantage of the situation.

Most recently, they did the piping for our addition and remodel -- which included replacing all of the cast iron and copper piping on the 'old' side of the house. They did great work cutting up all of the slab and, through some clever expertise, managed to save our main bathroom that was recently remodeled before we purchased the house -- saving us thousands of dollars. In fact, our GC was so impressed he said he is using LLona as his default going forward.

Genuinely... couldn't recommend a better plumber and all of the person I have interfaced with have simply been great!

Honest reliable friendly plumbing company

I have used Alvarez plumbing twice. The first time was fine, they were responsive and I understood the pricing.

The second time was less straight forward. I was on out of town with zero cell service and only wifi calling. So I had to ask a friend to call for me and explain the issue. Alvarez was responsive but in the end the pricing felt way off. The toilet was clogged and they had to remove it to retrieve a credit card lodged in it. They charge me $526 for this service. It feels like because I was unable to speak with them directly and help manage the problem, they just charged whatever they wanted.

Pulling a toilet is not that hard. I personally install that toilet myself 6 month earlier. It take about 30 minutes from beginning to end. If I had not been out of town and service, I would have done the job myself.

I called Alvarez 4 times asking that someone itemize my bill and explain why it is $526. I want to understand, not feel gross about paying this bill and keep Alvarez as my go to plumber. No one has ever called me back. I just paid the bill, I feel scammed and I will not be using them again.

7/20/23 Review Modification...

After posting my above review, the plumbing service manager, James, reached out to me directly. He was shocked to hear that I had requested to talk to him about my bill multiple times and was never put in contact. He listened to my concerns and gave me a breakdown of my bill. Once that was achieved, it was easy to see there was work done that I did not approve/authorized. The company was being more proactive than I'd wanted. As a result, James removed the part of the charge that was in dispute and I was satisfied. The remain cost for the service provided so quickly, was fair.

Moving forward, I am giving Alvarez Plumbing the benefit of doubt. They are responsive when you need them and the work they have done was done well. Though I hope to not have anymore plumbing emergencies, if/when I do I will call Alvarez again. Thank you James and the whole team.

Replaced shower head and faucet. Excellent work, good price, and very courteous. Done work for us before, that's why we continue to call them.

Horrible drivers!! Guy almost ran me off the road 12/1/16 on Ulmerton in St. Pete. That loser almost had a law suit that would have put this company in bankruptcy. If their drivers are that inattentive and reckless I can only imagine how they operate as a business.

I was looking for a second opinion in regards to a potentially collapsed/broken drain pipe and I was told to try calling Roto Rooter. I called around 5pm and they were able to make it to the house by 6pm! Elvis was very up front about the pricing (which I absolutely appreciated) for the services he recommended and also very professional. I told him what the previous plumber said, and evaluated the problem based on that. He seemed very experienced, I felt that he really listened to me and didn’t try to push for services I didn’t need based on what was done already by the previous plumber. In the end, the leak couldn’t be fixed by himself, and I only had to pay for the labor, but wish I had called Roto Rooter in the first place. Thank you Elvis!
