We highly recommend Alvarez Plumbing. Two service reps; Alex and Barry came to our house yesterday. They did a very thorough investigation of the issues we were having and found, and completely resolved the blockage/and related smells. Great service people, very careful, courteous, knowledgeable, and polite. We were so fortunate to find such quality work done in a timely manner. Thank you again for your professional service!

Great work. Lots of attention to detail.

Horrible HVAC service. Horrible workmanship. Left holes open to the outside, installed lopsided split units and can’t address simple issues in a timely fashion. They are not good at what they do my any means. Avoid at all costs.
Created bug problems in the whole building because they do not properly seal holes.

I have used Alvarez plumbing twice. The first time was fine, they were responsive and I understood the pricing.

The second time was less straight forward. I was on out of town with zero cell service and only wifi calling. So I had to ask a friend to call for me and explain the issue. Alvarez was responsive but in the end the pricing felt way off. The toilet was clogged and they had to remove it to retrieve a credit card lodged in it. They charge me $526 for this service. It feels like because I was unable to speak with them directly and help manage the problem, they just charged whatever they wanted.

Pulling a toilet is not that hard. I personally install that toilet myself 6 month earlier. It take about 30 minutes from beginning to end. If I had not been out of town and service, I would have done the job myself.

I called Alvarez 4 times asking that someone itemize my bill and explain why it is $526. I want to understand, not feel gross about paying this bill and keep Alvarez as my go to plumber. No one has ever called me back. I just paid the bill, I feel scammed and I will not be using them again.

7/20/23 Review Modification...

After posting my above review, the plumbing service manager, James, reached out to me directly. He was shocked to hear that I had requested to talk to him about my bill multiple times and was never put in contact. He listened to my concerns and gave me a breakdown of my bill. Once that was achieved, it was easy to see there was work done that I did not approve/authorized. The company was being more proactive than I'd wanted. As a result, James removed the part of the charge that was in dispute and I was satisfied. The remain cost for the service provided so quickly, was fair.

Moving forward, I am giving Alvarez Plumbing the benefit of doubt. They are responsive when you need them and the work they have done was done well. Though I hope to not have anymore plumbing emergencies, if/when I do I will call Alvarez again. Thank you James and the whole team.

They came and replaced a leaking pipe in my bathroom.

Jay was professional and I was not charged extra for Saturday because they were too busy to come out on Friday when I called. Jay explained the problem and what he was going to do and was efficient. Excellent service and experienced technician.

Decent techs but 500 bucks is ridiculous

Had a great experience with Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning! The Dynamic Duo Father and Son Team of Buck and Brandon were very professional and upfront with the cost of the repair. They took the time to review all of my options, were not pushy, and even advised how I could save some money! Considering that having a pipe burst can be quite stressful, I was very pleased with the quality of their work, patience with my questions, and the fact that they cleaned up afterward even though the job took longer than expected. I would definitely recommend them!

I have used this plumbing company for years. I had a problem with a toilet that was running every few minutes for about 10 seconds. They wanted an outrageously high price to fix it.

Phenomenal customer service! After accidentally leaving a message on their non- emergency messaging service, James the Service Manager called me back after hours to confirm the situation and immediately sent someone out. Forever and Alvarez fan. Thanks James!

Dishonest billing. First the say they dont charge you service call fee if you have them do work. Service fee was on bill, called the guy on it and removed, dishonest that they try to sneak in. Then billed for 2.5 hours, have ring door bell, was in the door and out the door in 1 hour and sat in truck for 30 min after call, had to have him change billing to correct amount. Needless to say, they will try to screw you if you dont watch them closely. Also of course all AC companies try to push the You need a whole new system with outrageous over priced quote. The smaller guy I usually use was so backed up he would take a couple weeks to come out and service, wish I had just waited. Never again

TED was amazing, on time, friendly, fast and cleared our sewers in no time! Definitely would recommend him again and again

Boy Alvarez A/C is the greatest. Not only did they come out quickly (within same day) but they sent me technician Daniel Lode who I say is the best!!! He diagnosed my a/c problem within minutes and not only repaired problem on the spot but also performed a maintenance at my request. Our home ac unit had been down and our house was HOT HOT, but Daniel went above and beyond our expectations. He certainly is a great asset for your company . Thank you again Daniel for a GREAT JOB. Daniel and Alvarez A/C will be my go to for cooling in the future.

They know what their doing

I work at a community and we use their services as much as we need to. Very skilled plumbers they get the job done.

My plumbing problem was serviced by Justin S. He found the leak under my kitchen sink and repaired it. He was very professional, helpful and a totally nice guy. Even though I spent a little more than I figured on, I feel confident that I received quality work and won’t have any more problems. That’s very important to me.

James & Maurico replaced an old kitchen faucet at my mobile home this morning. It was quite the challenge but they did a great job! Very professional and respectful; they even cleaned up behind themselves. I have lots of projects coming up and I trust James and Alvarez Plumbing!

Prompt and professional customer service. I needed a handicap toilet installed, they were focused, no nonsense and in less than an hour it was installed and they took the old to dispose of eliminating that problem for me. Very reasonable pricing.

We were sure our A/C needed repair because the thermostat did not seem to be registering the right temp. After Giovanni checked it out thoroughly
he assured us the a/c has nothing wrong with it but we probably would be wise to reinstall insulation in our attic which would lower our electric billl and help the a/c over the long run.

I can’t say enough about my experience with our Technician Ted. We had an emergency leak/ pipe repair on a Sunday and Ted was able to come out quickly, diagnose the issue, and repair it. Truly a top notch experience from beginning to end.

I was having some issues with my drain about a year ago, they came out multiple times and finally discovered there was an issue with the installation of my original drain. I reached out to get a copy of the video I paid for, no response, and recently reached out to get an updated quote as due to the virus my financial situation changed and I did have to put the repair on hold for some time. Still no response. The technicians are great, the administration is horrid. If you want a place to ask for service and not receive it you've come to the right place.

Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning is untrustworthy.

I am not one the typically writes reviews but when a company makes mistake after mistake after mistake and gives their word that they will fix them and then does not; it is worthy of a review to let others know that this business cannot be trusted, has poor workmanship, causes more problems then they fix and does not do what they say.

The Leak:
They were hired to fix a leak in a bathtub.
* It took them 4 trips to actually find and fix the leak (one issue is they kept sending different techs)
* Since they broke through the tile to look for the leak I decided to re-do the bathroom and move a washing machine to a new area near the bathroom.

The Shower Values:
They ran new plumbing for new shower fixtures but didn't look at the fixtures that were placed outside of the bathroom in the hall so they could make sure everything fit properly. They shower valves are not solid and shake when you turn them on and off. Still not fixed.

The Flood
* Alvarez did the new lines for the washing machine but they never tested the drain line or removed the test bulb.

* After the entire project was finished, drywall, bathroom tile, new vanity, new paint, etc. the condo flooded because when the washing machine drained into the new line the test bulb blocked the water from actually draining.

* When the flood occured I called the after hour line and they wanted me to pay them for an after hours service tech to come out to evaluate the issue.

The Repair Quote
* They promised to fix everything and get their insurance company to pay for all the damage.
* The reconstruction and cleaning company that they hired gave a quote of about $40,000.00 in damage.

The Insurance Company
The insurance company explained how the quote was drastically over inflated and stated the damage was not even close to half that amount.

More Broken Promises
Alvarez kept promising that they would make things right. Calls went unreturned or excuses that the boss was unavailable because he was out fishing (literally fishing).

What their employees said throughout the process:

Alvarez sent about 7 different techs and/or supervisors to work on the project. Almost everyone, spoke badly about management and the work their previous co-workers performed on the project.

Even Marcus the CEO told me that they had a bunch of people quit and that some of the guys he sent out didn't know construction. Even with all of these issues not once did any management with any authority to get anything done even come out to the site to evaluate the issues or make things right.

Bottom line is Alvarez Plumbing and Air Conditioning and their management team is untrustworthy.

Jerome was great. He installed our new hot water heater and brought it up to current codes. I would ask for him over and over again for any plumbing needs. On time and very knowledgeable. Great company to do business with.

Had a clogged drain today, on a Saturday. Made a couple of calls to local plumbers. Alvarez Plumbing said there would be a $50 service call but couldn't quote me a price until they got here and assessed the situation. But they could be here in 30 minutes. Got here in 30 minutes. Poked around a little. Told me they couldn't get on my roof to snake the vent. Against company policy. Roof too steep (6/12 pitch). But they could pull the toilet and snake the vent $506.00 PLUS the $50 service call. DO NOT EVER CALL THESE PEOPLE FOR ANYTHING . . . EMERBGENCY OR OTHERWISE! Their competitor is coming later for a Saturday rate of $195/hr. plus $30 for the machine. Weekday rate is $125/hr. plus $30 for the machine. When you see ALVAREZ PLUMBING coming run the other way as fast as you can.

Some of their employees are rude and terrible Drivers and impatient when driving and should know better not to drive rude and impatient while driving a company's car (31).

Good guys, show up when called, and get the job done.

Called Alvarez for a plumbing issue at my restaurant location in Wesley Chapel. It was an after hours call, tech was punctual, gave me a quote and was able to fix at the same time. It was a bad situation for us, and pricing was extremely fair. I will continue to use for my plumbing needs in the future at this location.

Real talk… the first company I’ve been exposed to that are actual mechanics for techs. It’s nice to know that these companies exist. Not salesman but true repair techs. A+ rated company with roots of moral values. These technicians actually really like the company they work for. Breath of fresh air! You will not be sorry to hire them!

I have an older home and these small little repair jobs pop up and I never have a problem getting Alvarez plumbing to send someone to my home no matter how small the job. Their fees are fair and every technician they have sent out is courteous and professional.

I called Alvarez Plumbing with a problem and they were out to my home that day. The two gentleman that came out were very professional and honest l. They repaired the faucet thst I had a problem with and found that the other problem I had was not from my upstairs toilet it was from my roof. I would highly recommend this company to all my friends and family

They just replaced my sewer pipe from the house to the street. I have done plumbing myself for over 20 years and could not take time off to fix my own plumbing. I called another company who, lost my phone #, told me they would be by to take a look and never showed, never called and essentially blew me off entirely knowing I had no sewer and was sitting there waiting. Finally called Alvarez and they were punctual, and started within the next couple days. I felt bad for the guys who had to dig it up as the ground was saturated and with standing water from all of the rain, but they worked their butts off on it and made it usable the first day while I waited for inspections. The city of Tampa is who drug their feet. I inspected it myself and knew it was to code and installed properly so I had no worries using it until it was inspected. At any rate, in spite of the negative reviews here, I am thankful they were on their game with my repair. As a former master plumber, I would have known if they weren't from the start.

Family owned and operated owners are very hands on and go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Of course it's the middle of July on a day with 100+ degree feels like temps and my AC quits. I called Alvarez first thing and they got me an appointment for the afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised when the service tech, Hector, called me early than expected to say he was half hour away. He arrived and got straight to figuring out the problem. He explained how and why the compressor stopped working and replaced it in about a half an hour. He was friendly and professional and efficient. Even my dogs liked him. It was a great experience

Victor and Luis came to install a new sink, faucet, plumbing for that as well as a new dishwasher.
We have a 44 yr old home where nothing is level or plumb. They both work soooo very hard to make sure everything works properly and is installed correctly considering all the old home issues.
They go out of their way to make sure we are satisfied customers.
A few Yrs ago, Alvarez Plumbing did our entire home repipe , and they had many issues then as well. But were successful in the installation and never have any plumbing issues since.
Jason who set us up with Victor and Luis is awesome as well, he was diligent in making sure things were going to be ok with all of these house issues.
We DONOT use anyone else for our plumbing needs, they are honest courteous , they clean up any mess they make and take care not to damage anything, and a pleasure to have in our home.

Second experience using Alvarez and second time I’ve had an amazing experience as it pertains to the professionalism and quality of work and communication. This time it was a plumbing repair and Ted was awesome! If you can request a tech for plumbing, this is the dude you ask for!

Used Alvarez Plumbing in past years and have always had great professional service at a reasonable cost. Called for service to replace a old kitchen faucet and replace 2 toilet shut off valves due to age (30+ years). Elivs and Taylor were very good at explaining my options in repairing the toilet valves instead of replacing, which would’ve been a tougher job and more costly, The repair was much simpler, cost efficient, and the fix did the trick. Thank you for the great service! Would use Alavarez again and recommend.

AWFUL! they are an awful company that needs to learn manners and how to conduct business.My toilet wasnt working correctly so I decided to give them a try. Came out the FIRST time and said that they fixed it and charged a full fee which I did not mind paying since they said it was fine. They did not give me a written quote or anything they just charged me after they were done with all of the work. Later that day my toilet was STILL broken. I called and they said that they have to order a part to fix it. So once again I have to pay their fee plus the part, which the guy kept going around the price and wouldnt tell me how much the part costed! They are an awful company and I hope no one in the Tampa area has to deal with them

Disclaimer! I have never used their services. I was stuck by one of their trucks in bumper to bumper traffic and the guys were being nasty and perverted. They were yelling things at me and my friends. When we could finally get away from them we all felt violated and disgusting. Just be safe having some of these men in your home.

A pipe burst next to the house today. The water was flooding the sidewalk, yard and driveway. It was washing dirt and debris all over the place. The property manager called them and they absolutely handled the fiasco professionally and as quickly as possible. They saved my AC unit from being destroyed and did so superbly. The plumbers and AC guys did a fantastic job. They sent enough staff to handle this emergency well. I would recommend them and will use them myself from here on out. Excellent job by the Plumbing and AC crew!!!

The first plumber was slow and not very thorough with his work. We had to call for a second visit. The second plumber was very professional and friendly. He cleared the clog and proceeded to perform several steps to ensure the clog was cleared. He also recommended ways we can ensure the clog does not return.

We are very happy with our new AC system and the technicians who installed it. They arrived promptly when they said they were coming. Billy Gann, Travis and Jason were very professional, friendly, helpful and answered all our questions. They took our old unit out and cleaned up all the mess it left behind along with the wrappings from the new installation. We highly recommend Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning.

I seriously love these guys. 3 out of 4 experiences have been amazing! One guy kind of sucked, and I have damage because he failed to tell me something small that could have saved me about $2k. However, the other 3 guys have been incredible, and I will STILL call them for everything HVAC and plumbing related.

We have used Alvarez several times and have always found them to be honest about repairs needed, professional, responsive and great customer service. Our older AC died labor day weekend, they came right out and had a new a Trane installed within days. Highly recommend 👌

Great experience today with Mike V and Alvarez Plumbing & A/C! Had a clogged drain-line that I could not clear. Mike took care of the issue, made some sensible recommendations that we took into consideration all for a reasonable fee. He was clean and courteous and good with our dogs! So I had a holding tank on a 5th wheel have issues. So after I found out the cost to have it replaced I called Alvarez Plumbing they came out repiped and capped off my black tank. Fulltime unit in a park and 100x better than ever. Thanks guys for making a stressful situation a memory.

Our office has had ongoing plumbing issues for the better part of a year now. Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning was the third company sent out by our property manager and the first company that was actually helpful. Alex Ponce arrived promptly on time and kept us continuously informed in regards to what he was doing, what the issues were, and provided detailed explanations in layman's terms. If all the employees at Alvarez are as efficient and thorough as Alex, I would strongly recommend this company.

Alvarez plumbing a top notch family owned company with friendly experienced knowledgeable plumbers .

I Called up Alvarez plumbing on November 13, 2016 around 3pm after a failed attempt replacing my daughter’s bathroom shower valve. The valve was cemented with calcium deposits from the hard water we have in Florida. Youtube has many videos on this replacement as well as Delta and in all the videos the valves come out real easy. But if you live in Florida and have hard water do not try this repair yourself. After swallowing my pride, I told Perry D’Amato with Alvarez plumbing what I did he told me about how difficult shower valve replacements can be. Perry evaluated the situation repaired the copper tubing and added an access panel for any future problems. He replaced the entire inner workings as well as new sprayer, handle and bath tub spout with a Delta kit. I am very impressed with Alvarez plumbing, from the coordinator Alques at the office to Perry the plumber they all were very professional friendly and courteous.

I did an after hours service call due to a toilet shutoff valve was broken and I was luck enough to have Anthony as my tech. Anthony was a professional, respectful and competent at what he did. The response time was quicker than expected and he did a great job in very little time. I have used Alvarez Plumbing in the past with success but Anthony's work will ensure I will be sure to call them again when I need anything.

I found this review I wrote over a year ago, which I guess never posted, when I went to post a new review. This one was after I had installed a new kitchen sink and counters.

I always use Alvarez Plumbing, as I have never had a bad experience with them. All the workers who have worked on my properties over the years have been highly professional problem solvers, courteous, and take the time to explain what they are doing or what the problems are. They have earned my repeat business, and my recommendation. James and Barry were excellent today. They reconnected my faucet and instant hot, and explained, after trying their best to make it work, why my disposal could not be reinstalled, since I went with an undermount sink, and my old sink had a shallow side sink for the disposal. They could do it, if they made a hole in the exterior wall to run a new line that would line up with the disposal, but it wasn't worth it to me. They also reconnected a toilet that had been removed for a flooring job. They found a small leak in a supply line under the sink that I had never noticed, and replaced the line. James has been out to my house before, and I was glad to see him again. He is tenacious in getting the job done. While checking the connections and running the sink water, they discovered my newly re-done shower, adjacent to the kitchen was not draining. Seems the tile guy never flushed out the drain, and the grout/dust had solidified, causing a stoppage. So they cleared that for me too. I appreciate the thoroughness of James and Barry. They are an asset to the company.

I called Alvarez this morning and my mother had a backed up toilet and tub. They said they could come out same day which was a God send to me as she is elderly and this is the only bathroom she can access with her walker in this older home. Victor was our technician and he could not have BEEN anymore professional, explaining things to both my mom and myself. My home inspection company referred them to me because my other plumbing experience was not good at all and refused to use them again. I would definitely refer friends and my clients ( I am a realtor) to Alvarez Plumbing. Top notch professionals and Victor was the best!

Called Alvarez plumbing out to my business. (Restaurant). We were having some drainage issues and a horrible sewer smell permeating from the sinks and drains. The came out the FIRST time and pulled out a couple things from drain that they said was the problem. Next day smell was still there. Called them, they came a SECOND time. They suggested a Smoke test, so I did it. So on their THIRD visit, they replaced the Air Admittance Valve that they said was the real problem. Over $1,000 in charges and only a month and a half later...smell is back. When I called them, they tried to charge me another $300 for another smoke test. I told them I would pass. They obviously don't guarantee their work and its easy to see why. They never even offered to come out to take a look at it again without charging. I know I'm going to have to call a plumber out, but I will NEVER give another penny to these shoddy crooks! My Advice if you're looking for a 'good' plumber...KEEP LOOKING! BTW, if anyone wants to contact me to verify, I have all my receipts to prove what I spent and how many times it took them to still get it wrong.

Plumbing issues happen. I have a great fear of the unknown & unseen pipes under my home, in the walls and under ground. That fear increases as I'm thinking how much will this cost..... My brother referred me to Alvarez Plumbing & A/C - they scheduled Plumber Jacob Costine.
He called on his way and arrived on time. Jacob was professional and politely answered all my questions. One of the bigger issues I reported to him he responded would clear up on it's own after he fixed the main issue. He was able to provide me with all costs before he started and did not do any pushy sales routine. Jacob saved me money by not adding on a repair or service I didn't need (I wouldn't have known that I didn't need it... I don't know plumbing)
He provided great customer service and completed the repair needed in the time agreed.
I will be calling them for a quote to take over my A/C service agreement and any future plumbing needs.

Service was fast to come for a weekend and technician was pleasant. We paid $400 for a clogged kitchen drain that was never repaired. Technician said he couldn’t get it fixed and we needed a camera inspection. Was able to get the snake down the first time and when he went the second time he said it felt like a pipe collapse. So now we are out $400 and no solutions.

A few weeks ago my hot water heater needed replaced and I was lucky enough to have Edgar come to to my home. He was so professional and kind. Never have I seen a more thorough and dedicated person. Carlos was also here and he did not disappoint. He too was very professional and kind. Hats off to you both .

We knew our a/c system was on life support, and it finally decided it was done. We received one quote from a company that we had dealt with prior, but wanted to get another quote for comparison. The costs reflected the same, but their technician Osmel made our choice easy. Coordinated with James and Jeremy, and a team was on site early and worked throughout the day. Even with a minor hiccup of a damaged section of drywall in the garage ceiling, they were honest and rectified it immediately. Will probably be using them for some upcoming plumbing tasks in the future.

I am a woman living alone in my home and I am not experienced with plumbing at all so I called for help. 100% do not use them to unclog a single drain. I couldn't believe how expensive. Other company's have a going rate for $180 to $220 and I paid $303. The tech was very nice and did a good job but the company should really rethink the price of this task.

The best A/C Plumbing company in Tampa Bay area

Called one morning, indicating that I had a kitchen drain tha was absolutely not draining properly. The receptionist asked 1 or 2 questions about the drain location and cleanouts available.
Without much discussion, she advised me that they would have someone to my location within 4 hours (and they would further contact me when on their way.)
Not even 3 hours after calling, I received a call indicating our plumber was on his way. Upon his arrival and quick review of the clogged drain he proceeded to unclog the slow drain.
Alvarez Plumbing has always provided me the best quality & service without over priced rates. And they've always been available promptly.

$250.00 an hour for a plumber????!!!! You people have lost your minds.

I am extremely dissatisfied with their service. I would never use them for any type of plumbing needs.

They inspected our bathroom and said that the only problem was water splashing on the molding. We did not believe this because we had had three other plumbers look at it in the previous year, and they said they believed it was a broken shower pan.

A qualified plumber came today and tore up the tile, and found that it was not superficial splashing but really was a broken shower pan. This is a big issue, and the guy from Alvarez was totally incompetent. The fact that he charged $85 when everybody else had done their inspection for free makes it even worse.

So, they charged for an estimate when nobody else charged. And they gave a completely erroneous diagnosis. Bad, bad, bad.

We cannot say enough good things About JT with Alvarez Plumbing & AC! JT’s immediate response time to our plumbing issue in our new home was incredible. Call Alvarez for all you plumbing and AC needs!

Alvarez plumbing came to home and placed a small band-aid on my plumbing issue for not a small price! then rescheduled to find out the cause of the real problem for an additional large cost. I called 2 other plumbing companies after they left to find out the cost of what they did and it would be a quarter of the cost. how can they get away with this. $400 to snake the pipe and then come back and charge $300 for a camera seems astronomical when another company quoted me $300 for snaking with camera use. Seems unethical to just take advantage of someone when they are going through a home emergency. regardless i am not using them for the camera diagnostic as i see this will most likely escalate into larger cost.

I recently used Alvarez plumbing services due to flooding. My bathroom flooded on Christmas Day and the tech that came out went ABOVE and BEYOND. I felt horrible that he had to come out and service my home on Christmas Day. The first thing I did was apologize for the inconvenience and thank him for coming out. He was very professional, very nice and kept me informed during the entire visit. When I say ABOVE and Beyond I mean it. He asked for disinfectant cleaner to clean my tub, and I thought that was just Amazing!.. WHO DOES THAT!. I was very grateful and appreciative for his services. Not my first time using Alvarez and each visit they are great. But this time stood out! Happy Holidays and Thank you for your Great Services!

Unfortunately this is my 2nd time changing my rating, it was a 3 star rating that I changed to 5 because they took the time to address my first issues which was a communication issue between my husband and the cleaning lady and mess issues. He had asked her about employing her further and she ignored him and when asked again she gave him the one minute finger gesture and never actually spoke to him. Come to find out she didn’t speak English so that was understandable and the mess part they did start to try and keep it as clean as they could. But now that they are done and I was able to pick up everything that was left I see they’ve broken several Christmas decorations that were still out when they started working. And also the fact that every time they did work under the sink they would take out the soap bottles and cleaning chemicals and never put them back when done we have two small children running around so it bothered me. Still I’m giving them 4 stars because besides those few things the work they did was wonderful and the workers were so nice. I also get they are used to doing this kind of work in places that aren’t occupied so I’m really not holding it against them much at all I just know they will read this and improve their work for future clients.

They hung a sink at my business and propped it up with a PVC pipe. 3 days later, claimed they didn't do it, fixed it a second time, and charged me a second time AND called me a liar... HA! This ain't my first rodeo cowboy. Do you think I walk around with a 3 foot tall piece of pvc in my briefcase that just happens to be the perfect fir to prop up a sink? Wow... Morons! Steer clear and tell everyone you know... I've facebooked it, alerted the BBB, talked to a few community leaders and wont stop telling my story about these fools until I take my last breath! THE NERVE! I had to add this.... $480 to fix a leaky sink and rehang it on the wall. another $250 to fix their mistake. So $730 total for a job a half-retarded squirrel could have done (with equal quality) and in half the time!

Set an appointment for today. Was told they would be here between 12pm-2pm...over 2 hrs later, no one has shown up or called. Was hesitant to call last night after reading reviews. If this is how they do business, don't even want them in my house.

I had called Alvarez plumbing today to help me with my kitchen sink which was not draining properly. I was hoping that they can get it fixed today, and I was hoping they would give me an estimate of their charges over the phone, but I was not given any estimate whatsoever. I then had a representative from the company come in and take a look. After 5 to 10 minutes of assessment, he had told me that, the charges would reach $400 just to take care of the plumbing problem. I have not been charged this much for a simple drainage issue. It would have been nice if they had communicated that cost, or even just an estimate, over the phone so I would not have wasted my time. Furthermore, I was charged $49 just for dispatch fee. I did not have my kitchen sink fixed, had to get off work earlier to receive them and worse, I got charged for nothing. My sink remains clogged. Please do not use this company if you are looking for immediate and affordable plumbing.

We have lived in our house for 10 years and over the years have had to do a number of minor and major plumbing projects. Alvarez Plumbing far exceeded our expectations when we needed them to do a whole house re-pipe.

Prompt: When a pinhole leak started in the concrete of our garage they came to investigate within an hour of our call on a Sunday night.

Knowledgeable: They explained options of leak detection, busting up the concrete, and doing a re-pipe in words that I understood so that we could make an informed decision of the best way to proceed

Accurate Estimate: Out the door price was the same as the original quoted price and they let us use an online coupon with no hassles whatsoever.
Efficient: They estimated that the project would take 3 days to complete. They were done in two. WAHOO!

Clean and Courteous: Our team of plumbers Jose, Luis and Frank were very courteous and clean. They protected our new carpet, kept drywall holes to a minimum and overall were very pleasant to be around. They left the place cleaner than when we started.

Little Extras: Our son had pulled too hard on the drain plunger of our sink a week earlier and detached it. (KIDS!!!) They reattached it for us with a smile.

Convenience: They installed a water softener and new water heater at the same time

Built to Code: Our house is being inspected tomorrow to confirm the new code items but I’ll admit I like the new features of outside shutoff that are now built in.

Pricing: We had checked with some of our friends who had similar repairs and the estimate was in the same range.

My only minor complaint was that the water has a hint of PVC glue taste. But that should go away in a day according to their plumber.

I don’t wish anyone to have leaks. After all it is no fun to have water flooding your house or have to pay to do repairs, but I can honestly say I was very pleased with the service we received and would highly recommend Alvarez Plumbing to anyone who needs a plumber.

This business is more interested in billing then they are in standing behind their work. The city of Tampa contracted them to flush some lines in my business, they did not do the job correctly. Our Tax dollars hard at work. Then they refused come back and fix even though invoice clearly states 30 guarantee. I would not recommend. I am sure they have good plumbers but looks like thier billing department has taken over their operations.

Alvarez has been our first plumber of choice for years now at my company. As the Facilities Manager for my company I've been super grateful for their service. They've done 3 back flow tests and repairs for two buildings and I'm scheduling a 4th. They've come at 8pm to help with a leak. They've unclogged numerous toilet problems. They've even helped us out with our tenants and gained us massive brownie points.

I'm not going to doubt the negative reviews on here. A lot of jobs can be costly and if people don't understand what exactly is going on its easy to run that tab up. I can see where the frustration is, but I wouldn't say it warrants an entirely negative rating. To each his own, though.

Our washing machine backed up into the laundry sink and onto the floor! Alvarez Plumbing had been recommended to us by a retired plumber friend so we called them a bit after 10. Everyone was so helpful! Justin, on the phone, explained the possible procedures for clearing the drain as well as the prices and said he'd have a plumber out between 12 and 4. We'd get a call 30 minutes before arrival. Barry called at 1 and arrived at 1:30, had personal protective gear, and he was great! He was very knowledgeable about the situation and came equipped with proper tools that he knew how to use. He worked hard and made absolutely sure the job was well and truly done. I called Alvarez Plumbing around 2:30 with an emergency plumbing back up in my bath room. Within an hour Barry & Sam arrived at the time that they advised me of. They immediately did a thorough diagnosis, & explained what they thought the probably was. They also gave me an estimate of the potential cost & told me of a 10% senior citizens discount. Once they started the removal of the toilet ,the job was completed in less than 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. That included thoroughly cleaning their work area. I would definitely recommend Alvarez Plumbing.

3/02/23. Thank.You.So.Much! That was literally a year long problem your company just solved with our plumbing after other companies claimed there was zero issues, when 'clearly' there was. We've been dealing with that problem from day one. The very first time we ran the washer it started backing up into the kitchen sinks and flooding the laundry room and it's just been getting worse all year. Yes, we thoroughly, and I do mean thoroughly, tested your work. Not only did we put a full load in the washer which we've never been able to do before, on high soil and pre-soak, but we also filled the sinks with water, undid the plug and turned on the garbage disposal. I had issues with both of my toilets. One had a cracked tank and the other was rocking and not stable.
I called Alvarez because of their advertisements and their highly positive reviews. The scheduling process was quick and easy.
Perry D'Amato showed up on time, we went over my issues, and he took a look at both toilets. After going over everything he went over my options with me and priced out all the options.
I decided to replace both toilets & was prepared to reschedule so that he could come back to do the work. I was amazed when he told me that someone would be able to deliver both toilets to my home as he started the process of removing both toilets.
Once the work was done he went over with me everything he did, and even showed me how easy it was to remove the seats for cleaning.
I will definitely be using Alvarez again if the need arises.

Worse experience in 35 years in business!
Called Alvarez Plumbing with details of repairs needed in my house and asked for an experience technician, one called, he asked and I sent him pictures of the bathroom faucets to be repaired. A service call was set for Tuesday between 10 and 2 the following day, at 1:59 they called and reschedule it between 2 and 6 pm, never showed up! Without calling, the following day, a novice plumber showed up, he had no idea what had to be done! Took him 2 hours to change a kitchen faucet and was unable to take apart a bathroom faucet ( he didn’t know how). He took his own pictures of the faucet and a new appointment was set for the following Tuesday to have time to get the parts.
A second technician tried to come back first on Friday and then on Monday without any notice, we were not home. He didn’t know that someone else had been dispatched.
On Tuesday he came back, he was able to take apart the two faucets but did not have the parts needed. He took additional pictures and was trying to take the old part with him when he handed me an outrageous bill for services rendered to date, which I paid, it included travel from his prior service call in Apollo Beach to North Tampa, about 30 miles and before completing the job.
Technicians are either incompetent or misinformed on clients needs.
Within the company the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing,
They did not complete the job and left us with two nonfunctioning bathroom sinks.
Never to be used again, stay away from this company.

Jared replaced our kitchen faucet and was extremely thorough. He explained what he did and rechecked for any leaks after completion. He went above and beyond to caulk the backsplash where our caulking had chipped. Great service!

A little salty with these guys. I called for an estimate on making my old dual sink pipes into a single drain. The estimate was free but they charged an out of county fee but didn't bother to mention it until they were done with the estimate. The plumbers seemed knowledgeable though and appeared to take their job seriously. That being said, the estimate to run a water line to the fridge, and put in new pipes was almost $800. Little much in my opinion.

Very pleased with Alvarez Plumbing, we have used them before and have never been disappointed. Our toilet was running in a bad way and needed some extensive work. James was sent to our home, he was polite and wore protective booties when he entered our home. James explained what needed to be done and since we had some knowledge of what was wrong, knew he was being honest. James did an awesome job replacing the damaged parts, everything looked good and no leaks were detected after. We will use Alvarez again and request for James to do the work.

I called three other 24/7 companies before calling Alvarez none was able to confirm a repair person this evening. I called Alvarez Saturday evening for emergency shower repair, the organization responded promptly, confirmed a repair person would call to confirm and he did. The repair person made a quick assessment of the problem, made the repair and it was done.

Overall great experience. Had an initial issue as technician damaged well while repairing leak. I had to call a well and pump repair company and pay to have fixed. While away on vacation our AC went out. My elderly mother lives with us so it was important to make sure she had air since outside temps were high 90's. I made arrangements from out of state for Alvarez to come take a look. I called mid day on Wednesday and a tech was there that afternoon. I forget the tech's name but he spent a lot of time trouble shooting and sent us pictures of our rusted coils. He removed the gas and replaced twice it but was still having issues holding pressure. Our AC is more than 11 years old so we decided it would be best to replace it. The scheduling department did an amazing job making sure they had all of the equipment necessary and scheduled the work to be done Friday. The crew ( Jerry and Jason )arrived on time and worked all day. They had an issue with the breaker and made the decision to borrow the breaker from our dryer and then order a new one. It was a good decision since AC was more important than drying clothes and I was happy to return home on the weekend and have cold AC. Jerry returned today and replaced the breaker.

Once again, I am so happy I used Alvarez plumbing again!!! Previously, they replaced the ptrap under our tub and replaced our tub, replumbed behind our tub for no extra charge, they’ve replaced the ptrap under our kitchen sink and today Luis Morales came out and cleaned the drain to our tub!! Gio came out with his partner and they were here for awhile checking for leaks, etc. I had a dirty filter which caused it to freeze up. They provided annual maintenance so they waived the $49 service fee and basically checked everything for fee. They were here at least an hour. Great customer service. I had Henry C come out tonight (Riverview/Brandon area) because we had both toilets and bathtubs filling up with water to the point where one of the toilets leaked from the base and flooded the bathroom. Thank God Alvarez exists because our property manager would have waited until tomorrow to send someone out! Alvarez was contacted through a third party and now I can report that my issue is fixed. Henry was so polite, asked permission before doing anything including stepping in the door, he asked questions and listened, and he repaired the problem. He went above and beyond the regular techs who come out. He made sure that the root cause of the problem was resolved and made sure we were happy with the results. Hurricane week! Water softener sprung a leak and because of the leak, all water had to be turned off. I have a 6 year old so that is a no go. Leak detection (shower floor) was a bot tricky but successful. $160 diagnostic fee OK. $335 charge for a simple faucet replacement with an identical one I bought is nothing short of rip off. Never again. Found provider on Angi for $165.

I am going to be entirely honest here, I have been rehabbing a mid 60s home for about 7 years now, project by project. You usually have to go through a few companies that blatantly try and rip you off before hopefully finding someone honest. I have used this company for both major plumbing and AC work. They are always honest, and always tell you what you need. In this day and age, many, if not most companies will straight out lie to you for money, this company I absolutely trust. Take it from someone born in Brandon before the mall or Crosstown, and still here, be careful out there, and these people should be your go to when you need an honest appraisal, and affordable work.

I will never use ANY other HVAC company in the Riverview, Tampa, Brandon area. I have a brand new house built by West Bay homes and the upstairs has had major humidity issues. I gave up on West Bay and their installers/sub contractors. I reached out to Alvarez and not only did they figure out the issues no one else could but the customer service is top nothch! Sean (or Shawn?) offered donuts and coffee before he arrived and I jumped on the opportunity because it was my son's birthday. He wouldn't let me pay him back. He's a great part of the team and I'll request him for my 6 month maintenance every time! Thank you!

A great big shout out to Alvarez Plumbing for their excellent service! We’ve used Alvarez for 10+ years for our personal plumbing needs and they’ve always provided excellent service, but they recently went above and beyond. 4 years ago, we purchased a newly constructed home & we’ve been dealing with plumbing issues since the beginning. Of course, they were warranty issues so we’ve been dealing with our builder’s plumber, who we’ve had out multiple times (can’t tell you how many times they replaced the studor vents & swore that was the problem). As time went by, our plumbing issues worsened to the point we were having stoppages and back flow issues in the drains on a regular basis. It was disgusting &
we were at our wits end! After recently sending the builder a video of what was happening, I finally got their attention! They came out w/their plumber the following morning and they told us there were a couple of major issues. We were devastated because one of the issues would entail us being displaced from our home for repairs.
I immediately called Marcus with Alvarez for help and a second opinion. Right away, he sent Joe out (Joe’s great, by the way) to run a camera thru the lines and they properly diagnosed the problem! Turns out, the fix was much less invasive than the builder’s plumber told us! I relayed Alvarez’s findings to our builder, they came out and fixed the problem based on the report from Alvarez. We didn’t have to move out & all is good for the first time in 4 years! Yay!!!Thank you Marcus, Joe and Alvarez Plumbing!!!

I called Alvarez on a Thursday, September 17, because we had no hot water. When I called, I also asked if while they were here, could they look at two different toilets that were each having different issues.

Upon arrival, I showed them where the hot water tank and the two toilets were. The water would not stop running on one of the toilets and the second just didn't flush right.

They repaired all three items for $546.00.

The next day, Friday, September 18, there was no hot water again, but I didn't notice until later in the day. I called Alvarez in approximately the 4:00 p.m. hour. Yes, it was late on a Friday. I was told that if I wanted them to come out on that day, I would be charged the after hours rate. When I questioned that because they should have fixed it correctly the day before, I was told that might be something else. I opted to wait until Monday. When the same service people came out on Monday. They took a look and the gentleman explained to me that there was a loose wire and said that somebody in my house must have gone in and moved it. I explained that nobody would have gone in and touched anything on the hot water heater...he debated that with me for a minute and then said, it must have moved by itself.

He then went out to his truck for a few minutes and came back to my door with a quote for $1603 suggesting I get a new water heater. The water heater works fine since the ghosts have stopped moving the wire.

The toilet that was not flushing just right is working fine (thank you). The toilet that had the water running non-stop, still has the water running non-stop. I called and left a message with the answering service and got a call the next day from Alvarez. She left a message explaining that she did not know if I called about the hot water heater or a toilet. My husband and I decided it wasn't worth having them come back out again, so I did not call back. It would have been nice if they just fixed the items correctly the first time around and then didn't try to blame what went wrong on somebody living in the house.

Jarod from Alvarez plumbing provided us with exceptional WORRY FREE service on the 19th floor on Bayshore Blvd. Jarod replaced all of the individual valves when we found one we couldn't turn off. You really don't want to worry about any plumbing issues on the 19th floor. These valves were definitely in need of replacement and will certainly add value to the home. Jarod is a true professional and left the place spotless. All of the work was photographed and a detailed scope of work was provided. I don't think there is a more professional, honest, reliable plumbing company anywhere in the Tampa area. Thank you!

Had Joe B come in to clear a clogged drain. He was friendly, professional, and had helpful advice. I will be using Alvarez for all of my plumbing needs.

Contacted this company for an emergency. The unit's water heater was leaking extensively. Plumber said both the internal and external shutoff valves were not working and the water needed to be shutoff to the whole building. Then quoted $1300 to replace a compact 30G heater. Then charged $50 to come out even though they did not mention during initial call. Sent them on their way and the second plumber got the water off and removed the heater in about 45 minutes. Alvarez plumber was either not knowledgeable or was deliberately lying, take your pick.

Alex P. was early for my appointed time. He was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. Kept me informed throughout the entire visit. Did not try to sell me anything I didn’t need and was quick to do the job and did it well. Cost was reasonable.

She was very impressed by his attention to make sure she understood exactly what the problem was and what was needed to fix it. He gave her an estimate and time frame to fix the problem but it actually ended up being much less for both. She will definitely recommend both Alvarez Plumbing and Jacob to anyone that needs a great plumbing company and use them in the future for any problems that may arise. Called to have work done, they came out and only address a portion of the issues. When I called them back to finish they wanted to charge more money to finish the job. Absolutely dishonest. Never again

Be careful! Being a homeowner has it's advantages at times but also comes with the fact that we have to rely on third party service companies which can be a gamble depending on the specific company and their integrity. I've provided a copy of the work order to verify that this is a legitimate review. Please read the work order as it first reads, Returned to repair leak. We hired Alvarez to repair the hot water valve under our kitchen sink due to small leak and a so called master tech came out with an apprentice. I've learned even on small projects to have a company handle repairs as the state statute for construction defect is ten years in Florida and make sure you verify they have general liability coverage including workers comp which can be verified on the state website.

After an hour the work was completed and upon arrival home after work the valve was still leaking. Question is how does a master tech training someone install a small valve incorrectly? This is basic plumbing and if this individual is training others I would be concerned. This was not the tipping point for me as I like to be fair and give companies a second chance. We have an older house with copper plumbing for the main water lines and from time to time they get pin holes and leak. We called Alvarez and set the appt. with a window from 10am - 2pm. At 2pm the dispatcher called and stated that they were running late. Not the news you want to hear after already taking work off to support their window but at least they called. When speaking to the dispatcher she verified that I was home and waiting. She also explained that the tech would arrive as soon as they finish the other job. Now speed ahead two hours later and after getting off a conference call for work I noticed I had a voicemail. Verbatim the voicemail stated, Hi, I'm the tech for Alvarez plumbing and if I don't hear back in five minutes were cancelling your appt. I returned the call ten minutes after the voicemail was received and the dispatcher stated the tech went to anther job and they didn't know when the next tech was available. I was told this was company policy. So now my water has been off for almost twenty four hours with two small children and after verifying I was home after they were running late I have to be on call like a doctor or they don't show up. They never sent a text confirming the the tech's name or an email verification. At this point I called Benjamin Franklin who came out in two hours and texted me instructions for their arrival including an email. Basically Alvarez plumbing got a bigger job and was looking for a way out and will leave you hanging dry....literally!

After calling Alvarez plumbing and air-conditioning they sent a technician out the very next day and he immediately troubleshot our sink in the kitchen for this is where he found the leak. Within 10 minutes we had a quote, that included their 10% discount and a day when he would return to make the repairs. I felt this was outstanding because we were in the middle of a pandemic and it was also July 4 weekend. He returned July 3 and had the removal and replacement of our kitchen sink completed in record time. He involved my wife and myself in the process all the way and let me say he was very courteous, professional and followed all the CDC guidelines for this pandemic. I would certainly recommend Alvarez plumbing and air-conditioning and their representative Barry H. to all of our family friends and loved ones. My wife and I couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you APAC! My mothers AC went out while she was in the hospital. I called another company out and their technician had decided to sell me a new unit instead of attempt to correct any issues. I got quoted 12k to replace because “it was beyond repair”. I called out APAC on the advice of an old school friend and not only were they out there same day, they tested and diagnosed a capacitor that needed replacing. 1 part swap later and we have AC again. True professionals!

After discovering a leak under the kitchen sink I called Alvarez Plumbing. Horrible experience with Alvarez Plumbing. I'm getting charged for their services but they never fixed the issue. I try contacting them to discuss but they never return my calls when I leave a message or the service manager seemed to forget to call me back. Details of my experience with Alvarez Plumbing following:
I’m contacting you about two invoices; xxxxx-xxxxxx and xxxxx-xxxxxx. The problem I had at my rental property was sewage was backing up into the pipes inside the home. After I requested/paid Alvarez Plumbing to camera my main sewage line, it was determined the issue was a back fall in the line located at the home/city intersection of the pipe. I was told about 60 ft downstream by tech over the phone. The repair was accomplished on 9 June 2016 (invoice xxxxx-xxxxxx). The same problem happened again within a week after the repair in which I contacted Alvarez Plumbing to check the problem again. It was determined there was a stoppage at 45 ft and was cleared out by the tech (xxxxx-xxxxxx). After this second dispatch, I spoke with the tech who serviced my property and Jeff (office) to inquire if there could have been any other issues in the line that may still be causing the problem…I was told no, it’s my tenants causing the issue. After this repair, the same problem happened again. My tenants and I were not confident in Alvarez Plumbing’s work so I decided to contact a different plumbing company who serviced the house on 29 June 2016. The technician ran a camera and found build up at 43’ to 50’. He cleared this out completely and there hasn’t been a problem since and he provided me with pictures of the job. I don’t know what the blockage was but it looks like calcium build up/rocky substance.
Overall, I’m not satisfied with Alvarez Plumbing’s work as the problem was never fixed until I hired another company and should not pay for your services. Also, in my opinion, Alvarez Plumbing lacks the appropriate knowledge/expertise and professionalism to service customers. I was offered a video of the when Alvarez Plumbing checked the pipes with a camera but it was never provided to me. I asked the invoice be emailed to me; a hard copy was sent to my tenants and I had to ask them to email it to me. I called twice to discuss this issue and my calls never get returned. I left a message with your answering service provider last week and left a message with Abby on Monday, 11 July 2016. She stated I would receive a call back from the service manager…still hasn’t happened. Another thing, why does it take so long to receive an invoice? Other companies who service my house usually proved me with invoices within 24 hours…48 hours max. Again, I’m very dissatisfied with this company…you guys never fixed the problem and want to charge me.

We have been using Alvarez for our plumbing repair needs for about a year now. Each time we need them, they come right away! They work quickly but do a thorough job. The technician came out to my house same day as my call. He diagnosed and fixed my problem within an hour. My AC unit kept shutting off and wouldn’t restart. The pc valve outside needed to be cleared. We also had a pan filled with water underneath the upstairs AC unit which needed to be dumped. Once both things were completed my unit started running beautifully again and took my temperature from inside the house from 92 degrees to 72 within an hour or so. Very pleased and reasonably priced.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Paid their $49 inspection fee, I never got an inspection form or as much as a receipt. Guy comes out looks at it 10 minutes and tries charge me $420 plus taxes and whatever else to replace the float mechanism and rubber valve!!! $8 parts 15 minutes to install ( YouTube it) total rip off BEWARE!! Told the guy I would buy a brand new toilet and still have money left over, before paying what he was trying to charge. I told him to call the office and ask if that price was right as it sounded absolutely crazzy, he says yes yes that's what it is...if this is plumbing services CAN'T imagine their newly added hand in glove AC jobs charges.. will never call again.

They responded quickly with getting me a Plumber. He called ahead to say when he would be arriving. He came in dress in their uniform and evaluate the issue. Explained what it might be, but would need to check further to verify and most likely fix it. It turned out exactly to be what he thought it was!! So was in and out in no time and Faucet and water pressure was running great!!

On 1/17/23, Alvarez sent 3 of their employees (Manuel, Anthony and Ted) to conduct a camera survey of our building sewer line and to remove and replace 2 leaking water valves. All these projects were conducted in a timely and professional manner. Very satisfied with their response and service.

We had a water pipe piece bust on our house plumbing, luckily outside the house, but it was an emergency repair at 7:30 pm on a Saturday. We called Alvarez Plumbing and the response was great. The dispatcher was courteous and arranged to have their plumber, John, at our house within 45 minutes as he was finishing up another person’s repair and then came to our house and fixed our leak. Fast, reliable and professional. James & Barry lets us know exactly what the problem was and what they were doing about it. Then checked everything in the house to make sure water was flowing properly again. A++ service!!!! Highly recommend.

This was the 2nd time I requested service from Alvarez plumbing. The 2nd time because I was impressed by the responsiveness and timeliness of the 1st. Victor and Ricardo were exceptionally courteous, neat and professional. Plumbing work, by nature, can be dirty and messy, but Victor and both of his partners did an amazing job of restoring the areas to like new. I will be calling Alvarez Plumbing for any future olumbing needs.

Had a dual kitchen sink keep backing up. Tried snaking it myself, but it didn't work. Alvarez came out and fixed it for me - a little pricey but it was a weekend visit - That said, the tech was super professional and a huge help. I've used Alvarez before, and will continue to do so.

Outstanding service!!!! Hard a hot water heater that decided to be difficult. It was still under manufacturer warranty. We had used Alvarez Plumbing in the past, (and will continue to do so in the future). Edgar and Robert arrived to assess the situation. They handle the warranty with the company and scheduled us for the next morning to replace the tank and any other needed work to bring everything up to current code. Long story short, Edgar and Robert were so knowledgeable, professional, and curtious. They did an outstanding job and handled everything. We highly recommend them and Alvarez Plumbing for all our plumbing needs.

We needed a new water heater, and we got a recommendation for Alvarez Plumbing. Richard Guzman showed up on time, answered all our questions very professionally, provided an estimation based on the option we chose and did a great job, all by himself. It may have taken less time had he got some help, especially with taking out and then putting the new heater in place, but other than that great job!

I hired Alvarez plumbing for a leaky faucet at a rental. We had a lack of communication on this project. This was the first time I hired them. After speaking with a gentlemen named Scott, I felt they will now have this issue corrected. I will use them again.

Alvarez is the best! My A/c went out at 6pm on a day I was having 12 women over to eat and play bunco. Alvarez Plumbing and A/C was here in no time at all to my rescue!! My ac went out in my house and it was 95 degrees outside and i have 3 kids and a dog at home so i was freaking out. I called alvarez plumbing and ac & they sent Daniel lode out to service us and i am forever grateful because not only did he get my unit up and running within 20 mins he was also very informative and wasn’t selling me anything like some other company that came out and told me I needed to purchase a new unit. But Daniel came through and fixed our issue now my kids are happy again and im a happy momma 10/10 recommend 😌.

Just had Alvarez out to install a new garbage disposal and look at a few faucets. Whole process was wonderful. Great customer service from booking the appointment to calling ahead of time to confirm. Jarod did a fabulous job installing a new garbage disposal quickly and easily. Also solved my low pressure issue in the bathroom faucet. Friendly and knowledgable service. Sean was excellent! On-time arrival, kind, courteous, and thoroughly explained the reasoning behind my AC failure. I would strongly recommend them for anyone who wants their AC fixed in less than 2 hours.

Replace pipes under sink.

I called Alvarez Plumbing at 730 Saturday morning and Michael Ragan was here by 830am.He was very personable and completed work very professionally. Thank you so much!

My outside main pipe broke, lost all water in house. I called 830am on a Friday, and 2 nice techs came to house at 4PM the same day,and the job was done by 6PM, and done the right and correct way. What a relief, I was happy with the service and the whole experience. Thank you!

My tenant called to say that the toilet was leaking from the bottom and the sink was backing up. I was out of town so I had to find someone to go review the issues and repair the problem. I got a few recommendations and called Alvarez. Rihanna answered the phone. She explained that they charge a $49 diagnostic fee, which is waived if you use them for the repair. I expressed that I was not comfortable with this idea. I had never used them before and I wasn’t sure if they just give me an outrageous price. Rihanna empathize with me, waived the potential fee because I was a first time customer and got me a same day appointment. She was lovely.

Then about 2 hours later Ryan arrived at the property. He was awesome. After assessing the situation, he gave me a fair quote and did the job while keeping in contact with me.

I am happy with the service I received and will use Alvarez Plumbing for my future emergency plumbing needs.

I had the Alvarez A/C team come to my house to add an additional A/C vent. Not only did they do a great job adding the vent but they also noticed additional leaks in the duct-work in the attic. They fixed everything quickly and they were very courteous. Thanks Alvarez!
