I was disappointed in the service. The drain was not fixed. My son who was visiting finally removed the large plug in the drain. The service man left an air valve just sitting on a pipe and when I used the dishwasher all the water overflowed on the kitchen floor. It was very expensive and the problem was not fixed.

Our main line clogged and all toilets in our house were not working. Elvis arrived very fast and went above and beyond to clear the blockages. Not only did he fix the toilets, he cleaned up residue in shower drains as well. The work that was needed was unexpectedly extensive since our house is very old but Elvis was extremely thorough and did more than what was expected. I would highly recommend Elvis for any plumbing needs!

Called at 9am and they had someone out in an hour and a half. Taylor went above and beyond to get the problem fixed.

Had very bad and hard time getting a plummer there for the emergency.. tgey scheduled a plummer to be there between 8am and 10 am , and no one showed up till after 1:30pm in the afternoon.. he didn't call or text me at all , then I had to call every hour or so to get a plummer to my condo, First plummer wanted over 3 thousand dollars for the repair and then tgey sent out a sales person not a plummer to my condo to sell me 1600 dollars to dry my carpet -- crazy nuts 😐 tgen they finally sent out a Good plummer to fix my plumbing problem.. For 1700 dollars and they they were there for over 5 hrs and did a Great job at the end -- but what a awful experience in the beginning..

I had Roto Rooter come out on 2 consecutive days. First, to unclog backed up toilet backup. The next day, to replace old, deteriorated, and leaking cast iron pipes and clean connecting sewer line.First,I would like to recognize Omar (Tech 4138) prompt, friendly, and efficient. I followed his supervisor's, Garrett, recommendation to replace the cast iron pipes underneath.Working with Steven (2856), and Thomas, assisting Steve, who had a broken finger(didn't get his Tech#) was a real pleasure.They were both pleasant and and friendly. They did some digging underneath my crawl space, removed and replaced the old, and deteriorated cast iron parts, installed new PVC pipes, inspected and cleaned sewer line, and installed new toilet flange and wax ring.Thomas was efficient and hard working from start to finish, showing dedication and good work ethics.Steven, being on restriction, guided Thomas through the job, many times lending a hand where necessary to get the task done right and safely.I believe Steven's knowledge and experience are invaluable to the company.I felt lucky and blessed to have this team working in my home.I honestly wished that Roto Rooter's pricing were a little more competitive, but bottom line, I am glad the job got done right.

My schedule time was from 9-1. At 830 I received a text stating techs were on the way and by around 9 they were here. Both guys were very professional and nice. Within about 15 minutes they had the problem diagnosed and about 45 minutes later fixed. Highly recommend Roto-Rooter!!!

Roto Rooter was able to send a plumber out after 5pm on a Sunday which was fantastic because we had broken the main PVC water pipe to the house pulling vines in the yard so we had no water to the house! not to mention there was no extra emergency service fee for coming out late or on a Sunday! Our plumber Muka, was very professional and friendly! We chatted about the World Cup while waiting for the sealant on the pipes to dry. It even rained lightly for a few minutes but Muka took it all in stride and didn't seem to mind. Great overall service at a fair price!

They were great. I had water from an outside spigot leaking into the house due to some bad handyman work. They came within an hour when other companies couldn't. Fixed the pipe and patched up the hole in the wall.

I contacted Roto-Rooter this morning and Cody was at my door within an our. I explained what was going on and he broke the process down and the cost. He was thorough and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. I had used a different company for this same issue the past 2 weeks. RotoRoto-Rooter for plumbing issues for now on. The plumber arrived 4 hours after the scheduled arrival time with an excuse if having a flat tire, and even if true, it does not take 4 hours to change a flat. He then looked at the drain situation for 2 minutes and then quoted me a ridiculous amount of money to fix the situation. I thanked him and he left. He was not dressed with any COVID19 protection, inc face mask or gloves, and even worse, he walked in without any regard to his dirty footware. That really upset me. Go elsewhere to get good service.

Technician spent a good hour and a half trying to find a quick and cheap solution. He couldn't, but did not bill for his time and scheduled to have a supervisor come out to assess a more thorough repair.

The plumber was very knowledgable and helped me understand the plumbing estimates.

We had a clog in one of our main lines which caused sewage to back up and leak from the base of the the toilets and it also backed up into the shower. It was a mess and of course occurred at 11 pm. The 2-person crew worked until the issues were resolved.

We have an older home with original pipes. They were full of scale and we had lots of drainage problems. Professional service but very pricey. I was charged $425 to clear a clogged kitchen sink. R.J. Kielty charged $100 to clear my toilet 6 months ago. In my opinion, the price does not match the service rendered.

I felt as though the price was insanely high. The technician was more concerned about selling me services than explaining what he thought the issue was. In the end my problem wasn’t resolved and I spent over $200, he wanted an additional $200 to remove the toilet so he could further troubleshoot then an additional $200 on top of that to perform the repair. I will never use them again.

For the last 2 months it seemed like all the toilets in our home stopped functioning properly. All 3 of them either kept running or was just very noisy. After trying to fix and replace the toilet refill myself with no success and receiving a $300 plus water bill, I decided to call in the professionals! Roto-Rooter sent someone out quickly. The technician (Mohamed) did a quick survey of my issue and then gave me a quote. At first I hesitated to proceed with the repairs since I felt the quote was kind of pricey including labor, but figured it was worth it to resolve our issue and plus he offered a Veteran's discount. Now we have peace of mind for all our toilets working properly...well for at least the next 6 months. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone for any plumbing issues they may have!

After a week from hell dealing with my home warranty company AHS! I called Roto-Rooter Tampa to fix a clog in my kitchen sinks. Michael from RotoRooter Tampa came in with gloves, mask, social distanced, very professional, knowledgeable and very well trained! From the moment I spoke with the customer representative for the initial phone call to arrival of plumber Sean. They were both patient, personable and professional. Sean answered all my questions with about my leaky shower faucet with ease and repaired it. I would recommend them.

I was easily able to schedule a service order online late on Saturday night. On Sunday the plumber Alex came on time. He was very friendly. I explained the problem. He was able to diagnose it easily. He fixed the problem in no time. The price was very reasonable. I also have a warranty for the service which is comforting. Very happy with the service.

We brought my mother-in-law back to her condo after not being there for a while and found half condo underwater from a leaking pipe. We called roto rooter who came right our with adjuster to get things rolling. First gentleman came in and started getting things clean. Found drywall damage and was professional to the tee. Then plumber who found problem water heater damaged and he just looked at me and said I will find one and off he went. Soon returning with one. Got repair promptly. High recommend.

Keli #3055 came out and put a camera through the sewer line and used a metal snake to see why blockage. He found a belly in the sewer line outside by an oak tree as the problem. Also suggested getting new toilets as well Very professional and explained his work

Roto Rooter was quick to diagnose my need to have my drain pipes completely replaced, a rather large expense, which I agreed to in an effort to get this done ASAP. A contract was immediately signed with an expectation of a 3-4 day turnaround. I was out of my house for roughly 11 days with next to no communication from my Sales Rep/ Project Manager Emmitt (Aaron) Smith.Emmitt explained that this was a fairly routine job and would only take a few days. I called to follow-up after the job started with no return call, I followed-up the day before the expected completion date in which he stated another day or two because of hold-ups. I followed up two days later with no return phone call. During this time I stopped by my home twice to see minimal work done and only one person on the crew working. This continued to happen as I would check-in with only one person working or not there at all. The crew was supposed to be two people, which naturally would allow for the project to be completed in a timely manner.I finally went over to the house nine days after repairs started. There was still a lot of work to be done. I called Emmitt and let him know that his lack of communication was unacceptable and that he had dropped the ball on all commitments he had made. He then called the employee doing the work at my home and screamed and cursed him out, completely unprofessional. Two days later the project was complete only when TWO employees came to finish the job. A few moments after the crew wrapped up, I spoke with Emmitt to confirm next steps and then proceeded to hear him call his crew and mock me for trying to increase the communication and let him know my disappointment with everything. Completely unprofessional, yet again.It seems like Emmitt is your shining star to get contracts signed, but has no intention of following through on commitments in a timely manner. Both Emmitt and his crew openly admitted to me that they took on additional jobs after my contract was signed and moved my job to the back burner as it was a time commitment and a larger job, which ultimately displaced me for roughly 10 days.Lastly, the crew left behind much of the pipes that were removed and miscellaneous materials and tools. Its been over a week, they never came to collect their items or properly dispose of the previous pipes. That service was included in the contract price. I've now discarded this material on my own.If you come across Emmitt in the Tampa Bay area, just know what you are getting into. Clearly the company values profit over service.Thank you for getting this job done, I have used you all in the past, however I do not plan on calling you back should any other needs arise because you have employees that dont respect or value their employees or their customers.

Initial customer service was good, had to call them back because job was not completed properly. First tech did not complete his QC and pipe had a leak. I specifically ask for a new tech to come out because of the poor job of first tech. The reason I have it 4 stars instead of 3 was because of the second tech ( Ransford) - he was great! Also, they stood by their word and did not charge for a repeat visit to complete job.

The main sewage drain was clogged I and contacted Rotor-Rooter for service. Access to the main at our home was very easy (outside on side of house, ground level). The first quote the tech gave was crazy expensive at $400.00 for a simple clearing. After some negotiating, the price came down to $250.00. The job took all of 15 minutes. There are other plumbing companies offering the same service for as low as $79.00. Take my advice and contact them first before you use Rotor-Rooter.

Our technician, Ben, was very professional, attentive and knowledgeable. He listened to our issues, Determined what the problem was and got right to work to resolve it. Sam was awesome! He replaced 2 sinks and 2 faucets in our bathrooms. Sam is very respectful and takes pride in his work. He double checked to make sure he purchased the faucets we wanted. My experience was good. Our plumber Miri was polite, respectful of our home and you could tell he cared about what he did for a living. I was surprised on how long it took Tampa to give him the call, I called at 4:00pm and he did not receive the request until almost 8:00 pm. Best plumbers I could have ever asked for! After 2 days snaking and trying to find out why my bathtub, sink and toilet were clogged we called a plummer. Not only did they come out same day but within 2 hours!!!! Was called with updates till they showed up. After Cody and Andrew listened to what was going on they were able to give us a quote and had a good idea what my problem was. They were quick to go over my options and a plan with no problem. After finding the clog they fixed it! They were so professional, kind, understanding, explained everything that they were doing and education about what can't be flushed witch I have no idea somethings shouldn't be flushed! Had a blocked main drain while I was out of town. My wife was obviously not happy so I called Roto Rooter since they are the big name. The technician that came out couldn’t find the clean out so had to pull the toilet. It was a bit more expensive than I expected but later they took off the charge to pull the toilet. When I got back I went to look for the clean out and gave up after an hour and a half. Jason from Roto Rooter came out with a fiber optic scope and scoped the drain all the was to the main sewer line. He used a locator device to mark the spot for the clean out. I dug down 2 feet and hit it right on the mark. Amazing. It was out in the middle of the yard. I would have never found it without his help. I’ll still grumble about the price of course but these guys are top notch professionals and I will use them in the future so that I’ll know it’s done right.

Eduardo was the technician who came out and his customer service skills were very poor! He didn’t properly evaluate any issues in the bathroom and didn’t care to listen to any other concerns we had. After giving a quote, he crudely asked my mom “Are you going to do it or not?” He was there no more than 3 minutes. Clearly his intentions were to never do the job. As a consumer I will never pay somebody who doesn’t want to do their job! Thanks, I’ll keep my money! Do better!

He took care of everything, including a very clogged sewer drain, repaired a badly leaking toilet, and fixed all the bad plumbing under my kitchen sink, in approximately 3 hours. His work is excellent and he is a very nice person, and very professional. Will use him again, without hesitation, in the future. 5 Stars

I had Roto-Rooter Plumbing in Tampa come and fix my burst pipe. They got here extremely fast which is great because it was flooding my house. Shortly after the plumber came the Roto Rooter Water Restoration team arrived and did Water Clean up and fully dried my house saving my cabinets and wood floors. Excellent team all around!

We also had a field technician, Chris Vega, come out to assess our situation and advise us if we had any damage or other concerns. He didn't find anything of concern which put our mind at ease. He was polite, friendly and professional. All in all, our experience was very good and very happy with the service we got.

My Tech Adrian was polite and very thorough. Afterward, he explained how to keep my sink drain from clogging in the future by using the pipe treatment to help the 50 year old cast iron pipes from corroding further.This is my second service from this office of Roto Rooter and both times the response and results have been great.

I called at 7:40 AM. I was told that someone would be at my house in 3 hours. Two people came out at 10 o'clock AM, to look at the problem but not give me a price for the job. When i didn't hear from anyone by 12:00, i called the person who came to my house earlier. Then a half hour later I got a call from the main office telling me that I got mixed up on the schedule and someone else was on the way. Then the person came out to repair my plumbing problem at 3:00 PM He was excellent excellent and I would ask for him again. His name is Ransford Evans. I had to call Roto Ruler 3 times to get an answer from them. My order started at 7:45 a.m. and ended at 3: 00 p.m. Mr. Evans only took one hour to get the job done. It was not his fault.

Called Roto-Rooter and they came out within hours.Had someone fix both my rental properties drains all the way to through the pipes to the end of the system.They gave a discount and it cost $928 to unclog and clean up the lines in both showers on the second floor.

Although the technician that came out couldn’t solve my bad water smell issue and initially charged me for doing a “service” the company called me back to address the matter and refunded my money knowing that no service was completed. Although they couldn’t fix my issue, the fact they refunded my money let’s me know they care about their clients and was much appreciated.

Scott and Steve were great! Roto-Rooter was very responsive to our emergency situation and professional to work with. They immediately identified the problem and took action. They completed the work faster than the original estimated time and kept us up to date with information and any issues that arose. Would highly recommend!

Slow toilet flush. $645 to pull the toilet and snake the line. Snake comes out clean, tech reinstalls the toilet and still a slow toilet flush. I now have a $645 diagnosis and a $450 offer to replace the toilet. I don't think so.

Estimate was given and I gave the go ahead to replace kitchen faucet and also to take care of a persistent leak I've had for quite some time. The tech identified the source of the problem and replaced part, the faucet installation (I had already purchased the part) went great as well. I must commend Brian for a thoroughly positive experience, he knows his stuff and his easy going personality is a big plus.

We called Roto-Rooter this afternoon for an emergency sewer clog that came up. Keli was our service technician - and we were lucky that he came out quickly and was able to unclog the main line for us. He was very professional and made sure that we understood what was wrong with our system. He also made sure to explain everything that he was doing to fix the issue and made sure we understood what he was doing with the snake and removing and replacing the toilet.After the job was done, he helped clean up the bathroom and gave us preventative measures to take in the future. I would definitely use Roto-Rooter again in the future, and highly recommend Keli who did the service for us in Clearwater.

Completely failed to show up for work order (Leak detection). When I called to ask what happen they said someone would be there within an hour. 2 hours later a tech showed up but had no idea why he was there and he did not have tools or skill set to troubleshoot. Total amateur hour. What a disappointment and waste of time for such a widely know national organization. I will not use roto-rooter in the future.

Quick response time. They fixed the deep clogging under the toilet but it was super pricey for an hour of work. I didn't look at other companies prices however so maybe $700 for a deep clog requiring them to take the toilet off to get to it is normal for the industry. Either way I'm happy with the work that was done at least!

I called roto-rooter to fix my leak. They did extensive work with a camera line trying to find the leak. They said they ‘found the leak at my kitchen sink.’ The leak was flowing through to the master bathroom and possibly was coming from the A/C unit. I paid them $1300+ to fix a leak under my sink but that wasn’t where the leak was coming from. The leak continued after they ‘fixed the leak.’ Finally got a leak detection technician to tell me the leak was coming from the A/C unit. I called them for a refund on what I paid. I texted several times more for a follow up and never heard back. Very unprofessional company taking advantage of people.

I always use Roto Rooter and I had a clogged tub. Muka tech 791, fixed the drain and made sure it works fine. Muka was terrific and very nice. I would have him back every time I need a plumber.

It was 930 on a Sunday night and all my plumbing was backing up into the house. I thought it would be an absolute disaster. The best news was there is no rate to come out unless I get the work done (as if I had a choice) but NO service fee- Even on a Sunday night! Scott and Steve were true professionals who made every effort to fix the problems with our bathroom sink while saving us as much money as possible. We've had problems with a slow drain and leak for five months but put off the repairs after an estimate from another company, that company said no repairs were possible and a complete replacement of pipes would be required. Finally ready to bite the financial bullet we phoned Roto Rooter. Imagine my surprise and RELIEF when Scott told me they were able to clear the clog (rust & hair, etc.) and provide a warranty and preventative maintenance care ALL for less than a fourth of what I thought I'd be paying today!!! My technician, Keli, was great. He was friendly, professional and quick. It my review was based only on his service, he would get 5 stars.However, getting Keli to my home was a disaster. It took 3 days. I waited at home an entire day only to get a call at 9pm that they would not be able to make it that day. Then I waited the entire next day only for the technician to show up 6 hours after the agreed up on window!! I received a 20% discount for the first missed day but I should have received another discount for the 6 hour wait the following day as well. I will never call Roto Rooter again!

This is my first time calling Roto-Rooter as the first plumbing company that came to my house wasn't able to solve the problem. It took a bit of a wait for someone to come to my house but it was worth the wait. Leonard showed up to save the day 🙂. Very pleasant gentleman. He was actually able to fix the problem. I will never recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone. I scheduled an appointment at 9am for 1pm that same day. The technician rescheduled 3 times throughout the day until it was 9:30pm, then he rescheduled again for 7:30am the next morning. He arrives on time, I will give credit for that. However, he quoted me $950.00 for a simple job. I contacted another plumbing company and they quoted me $250.00 and said it would only take 1-2 hours to complete.My over-all experience with this pitiful excuse for a plumbing company - Horrible service, outrageous pricing and customer service needs serious improvement.

I initially got what I felt was a huge runaround from Roto’s initial plumbers on my water heater’s diagnosis. However, after explaining the issues I was having, Tim from the Tampa office drove all the way from Pinellas (to Riverview) and ACTUALLY LISTENED and didn’t treat me like a “clueless customer”. He cross referenced the issues I was experiencing, having to reset my water heater continuously to maintain hot water in my home, and used his knowledge to replace my thermostat AFTER the initial techs gave me bubblegum patch jobs. If you use Roto Rooter ask for Tim from the Tampa office! 10/10 for this guy. Seriously.

They fixed it completely in 20 minutes and advised me on other issues I had that I should look at to have fixed. Now I can get started on my stack of dirty dishes. The tech was good at replacing a unit that dud NOT need to be replaced. The water heater was not leaking and only about 8 years old yet he said it was shot and had to be replaced. After he did, guess what? We STILL HAD NO HOT WATER. I called my electrician and he said yea a lot of those techs are quick to put in a new hot water heater when it's actually the electric connection has a problem. Do thanks Roto rooter now I have a new hot water heater I did not need. He suspected some electrical issue AFTER HE INSTALLED the water heater. A word of warning make sure you check electrical on your water heater before spending $1800 on new one!! Electrician came out and fixed it...Second tech came next day from Roro rooter to fix the sleeve and connection. He was more experienced and did a great job on a repair. But of course I still bough a water heater I did not need!!!

Received a bill for THOUSANDS of dollars from the city for water. they stated that it was a leak in my home. I called Roto Rooter to trouble shoot for me. The technician walked the property and within minutes was able to find the issue. He fixed it and double checked his work. I also received a 6 month warranty that guarentees his work. Professionalismunfortunately is hard to come by with tradesmen lately, but not with Roto Rooter's staff. They aren't the cheapest, but I'll pay a premium for Professionalism, punctuality, and getting the job done right the FIRST time!!!

Dispatch was so-so. They were supposed to call and let us know 30 minutes before the technicians arrive but didn’t. Otherwise, service was great. The technicians were friendly and were able to fix our leaky bathtub faucet efficiently. Even though it wasn’t cheap, it was money well spent for the quality of the service and the little time they were able to get it done.

I live in an older home (1954) and have been experiencing some backups. We couldn't figure out if the issue was inside the house or part of the city sewer.12-years ago, when we first bought the house, everything was flowing slowly. I had Roto-Rooter come out and clear the entire system. They did a great job. In April, we started having some backing up issues, similar to the issue a decade+ ago.They came out, cleared the system and everything worked well... for about 3-months. When it started backing up again, I called and they came out the next morning. They offered to come out that night, but it was after 10:00 pm and waiting until morning was the right thing to do. The scheduler let me know that there would be no charge and was very apologetic.The next morning, the technician cleaned the system again and had another gentlemen scope the drain... since it backed up so quickly. We discovered that the cast iron pipe, which is original to the house and almost 65-years old had almost completely deteriorated and needed to be replaced.They gave me an estimate for the replacement and an estimate for cleaning the inside of the cast iron, but that was a band-aid, which we all knew. Since the estimate was competitive and they've always given me great service, I chose to replace the line and start new.Everyone I dealt with was courteous and took time to explain everything that was happening. The line replacement is scheduled for early next week.

My 1st home leak. Roto-Rooters response time was fast! Everyone was nice but experience counts. I had to call a 2nd time as the problem wasn't fixed correctly the 1st time. Restoration services and billing are separate from Repair services. Repair services charges to cut things up and make a mess and repair payable at time of service. Each plumber is different but you have to ask them to replace what was undone. Screw the shower plate back or air vents removed unnecessarily. I had to ask the 1st plumber to wear booties.I learned a lot from this experience. 5 or 6 different plumbers come with 3 different division services: Restoration, Repair, Billing and Main Office.1. Watch what is being done and take notes and pictures- make sure your invoice matches. I was over charged for things that wasn't done.2. Pray you get Chris or another experience plumber he fixed the issue the 2nd visit and provided details I was unaware of.3. If you need restoration services call your insurance company 1st it might already be included in your coverage. Paul swooped in and gave me a quote for services and never returned my calls. The quote was wrong.4. Ask a lot of questions and don't make any decisions until you spoke to your insurance company. Roto-Rooter gave me a lot of quotes but didn't clearly explain I could be stuck with thousands of dollars of incomplete work to restore was damaged and replaced.Would I call them again? I'm not sure. I might just call my insurance company 1st.

Excellent service. Toilets stopped flushing, called a list of local plumbers in a directory where we live, no one could come in less than 48 hours. Roto Rooter was there in two hours. Technician worked very hard and solved the problem - I considered trying it myself but was glad I did not when I say what was involved. Tried to use this business but had an issue with BAIT AND SWITCH!Had an appointment for them to come out and give an estimate on repair to water heater that has stopped heating up. Told it would be no host. Not a difficult repair, just new heating elements. Very good about letting us know they were delayed. Then the technician called to say it was going to be over $310 for a diagnostic test. True BAIT AND SWITCH tactic!

Unfortunately for me, one of the competitors could come out immediately so I went with them. I knew I should have gone with Roto Rooter but I needed this issue fixed (plumbing in the house was unusable) so it was a panic decision.The initial company took forever to diagnose the issue and supposedly fixed the problem. A week later the problem had returned and the plumbing was backed up again. The original company did not offer a warranty on the snake and said they would come do it again but for full payment. So essentially they did not fix the problem correctly the first time but wanted to charge me full price to supposedly fix it again? No thanks.This time I didn't mess around and I waited for Roto Rooter. They sent someone out on time who approached the issue in a much more logical way. They found additional blockages and stayed until the issue was fixed. As an additional bonus they offer a 6 month warranty on the job so if another issue was to arise I feel confident that they would stand behind their work. It has been 2 over weeks now and we are trouble free. They were very professional from the moment I called and scheduled the service to the time they performed the work and left.I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality company that knows what they are doing and a company that will stand behind their work.

We had two gerber three handle shower valves leaking and called as always roto rooter. The tech, Muka did a great job by replacing all the parts and they look like new now. Thank you Roto Rooter.

I called the Tampa office of Roto-Rooter, and their plumber showed up exactly on time, great technician (Mr. Harald Haas). Was in and out in just over an hour and had to deal with Acid from a previous plumber
that I found online that did not work. Very happy with the results.

Our Toilet kept overflowing on floor and in the tub. Scott came out and took his time, was very thorough and communicative. He helped clean and explained potential problem and recommendations. Highly recommend using Scott !

My technician, Tyler, did an excellent job. Unfortunately customer service and dispatch seemed to have booked too many people for the time slot. I was initially supposed to have a tech out between 12-4pm on Thursday. At 7pm, I called and asked to be moved to the next morning between 8am-12pm. I was assured I would be towards the top of the list. My technician was not available until 4pm. When he arrived, Tyler was courteous, and resolved my issue quickly and efficiently. I appreciate his time this evening.

Our resort had a sewage blockage which would not allow one of our lift pumps to discharge sewage to the leach field.

My experience was great. The woman who helped me schedule was nice and knew what she was doing. Travis was the technician and he was nice, professional, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and fixed two items for me (shower and sink). Only took about an hour. Price was more than fair. Will use again.

I received a text in advance of plumber’s arrival - plumber ( Irvin ) arrived when scheduled - Irvin was extremely professional, took sufficient time to communicate the expectation for costs, their diagnosis and their plan for remediation - they completed their work in a timely manner and did a good job of clean-up afterward - was 100% satisfied with both the company and, in particular, Irvin !

If you use Roto-Rooter (which you should), ask for Petrit because he was AMAZING. He was so polite and communicative with us. He told us everything as he was doing it and explained to us what exactly was the problem, in a way that someone with no plumbing experience would understand. Next time I need a plumber I will be requesting Petrit and using this company again!

They came out to clear a clogged drain. They were at the house within an hour and took care of the problem. Not cheap, but they were very nice and got the job done quickly and sometimes that's everything. Greatly appreciated.

We had a bad clog in our main drain. Elvis from Roto Rooter came out and fixed it for us. It was a bad clog and took a lot of work, but Elvis was very patient and professional and made sure everything was properly working before he left. I couldn't recommend his service more.

Last night our shower and toilets started over flowing with sewage water. My husband called Roto-Rooter at 4:30 pm. They set up the appointment for 6:00pm, which was wonderful because as you can imagine, no one wants to deal with sewage water in your bathrooms until the next day. Ben, the assigned technician, was AWESOME! He really went above and beyond. He was thorough, attentive to detail, professional and courteous. He was definitely the silver lining in a crappy situation. He worked very quickly and was extremely patient in answering all of our questions. We had a major clog at our house that we could not clear and it was causing backup in our whole house. We called roto rooter and they came out the very next day and during the time frame they had given us. One guy worked hard snaking the house trying to find the clog. When he couldn’t get it he had a supervisor come out with a camera and found the issue of roots busting through the pipe causing the clog. They then called another guy to come out and replace the pipe and clear the roots. He was there within the hour. I was worried we would be without bathrooms again but they came and got the job done quickly and all in one day! We could not be more pleased with the service. They were all kind and patient and we are happy to be back in working order!

I had a positive experience with Roto-Rooter when they did a job on my previous house so when I had plumbing problems decided to give them a call first. I called late night and they came in first thing in the morning. The service technician immediately diagnosed the problem and start working right away. He also inspected the plumbing around the house and corrected other issues while he was onsite. We were pleased with the way he managed the repairs that continue to use their services for water restoration. We highly recommended Drini Cenko who did the job.

I had a main drain line clog a couple days before Xmas and had a house full of visiting guests with no working bathrooms. I called roto rooter. They sent out Keli to diagnose and fix the issue. Keli was at my home in less than an hour. He arrived with a big smile on his face and assured me we will have bathrooms working soon. Keli was the most professional and knowledgeable plumber I have ever met. He fixed the clog in no time. No mess at all. The service I received from Travis was excellent! He arrived on time (between 5-8pm) and quickly found our problem. Travis educated us on our issue as well as some things to do in the future for prevention. We will definitely use Roto-Rooter again.

The tech and the work was great; no problem there. I had no issues with the technician; he was informative and quick and did his job. My only problem was the pricing. I went with Roto-rooter because of all the best-value stuff one can see online when doing a search. However, $400 for a simple shower drain cleaning seems excessive. I mean, I've had licensed plumbers in the area and spend half the day changing out pipe valves and such and the prices haven't even been half this much. Maybe I'm just ignorant of the going market price for shower-drain cleaning service but, since that's all was done, I found this aspect disappointing. I was in a bind for time, at the time, so I accepted the service fully-aware, but I'll definitely ask for quotes ahead of time in the future.

Awful, run, run fast!!!! I don't feel they are worthy of 1 star! After the tech caused a flood in my bathroom at my business, I spoke with a manager that told me he would talk to the tech (on friday) and call me back Monday. Since this incident its been few months and guess what no call back. The manager said having a flooded room with wood laminate flooring would not hurt it? He should come out and look. We are unable to use this bathroom until the floor is ripped up. I told him I was going to stop payment on check until this was resolved, he answered he would turn me over to the states attorney. Great customer service with this company! Ha Well, we see about 950 clients a months and everyone sees our sign hanging to beware of this company. I hope you will beware too!!!!

BEWARE OF BREACH OF CONTRACT!! This company does not honor the payment authorization contract that you sign before service. We had a leak last month, we signed to have our insurance revise the coverage and pay them directly therefore their main concern would be to deal with our company as promised. Magically, once the invoice was prepared, our insurance company “changed” their policy according to them so we had the billing department reach out threatening us to pay within 30 days or else we go to collection. Per the signed agreement, we have 60 days after their LAST day of mitigation OR 10 or less days after my insurance sends me the payment directly. This threat through email came not even 2 weeks after their services were completed. I know how to read and know that this is illegal to tell someone “it is in your best interest to pay us.” They think they’re some kind of mafia and we will not lie down to this manner of business. Do NOT let them bully you!! We work too hard to be shook down by these money hungry sharks.

Keli, my technician, was the epitome of professionalism. I was impressed on quickly they responded to my call. Less than 30 minutes and I was quoted 2 hours. He was awesome and deserves a promotion!

I called at 9am this morning, wasn’t an emergency thankfully. I was scheduled between 930-1130. In a matter of minutes they called and said they were on their way.Raif was my technician and I wish I could recommend him to come back anytime I have issues. Amazing service. It was a good experience. Drink was very professional and explained what he was doing so I could understand. He also went to Home Depot to get parts he didn’t have on the van. He also let my husband finish the job of putting the toilet back together so we wouldn’t have to pay that extra cost. They are expensive but who isn’t. I am pleased with the work.

Roto Rooter did a spot repair for our toilet flange. They cut out a section of pipe that was 90% blocked and replaced with a new section of pipe. Our repairman was excellent, answered all questions and worked very proficiently. Very Satisfied!

At around 9:30 PM, we noticed our shower billowing black bile from its drain, which we thought was probably not what a shower drain is supposed to do. We called up Roto Rooter, who told us we could be seen around 11:30. Andrew arrived around 10:15. He gingerly tiptoed around the sleeping baby's room, and even carefully lugged the heavy machinery through the backdoor adjacent to baby. In short order, our toilets started draining again, and the shower drain remembered what shower drains were supposed to do and corrected its behaviour (naughty shower drain). Andrew was wonderful, and we wish him the best with his bean; and hopefully years of Adventure Time instead of Paw Patrol.Definitely recommend Roto. But hope you never need it ;)

Service from Roto router was great the lady at appointments was understanding and gave me a prompt appointment for the next day between nine and one they showed up at 9:30 problem was solved they also included a camera to look in pipes as part of the package. Tech Manny was very professional

Josh came out on Memorial Day and was very knowledgeable!! My sink garbage disposal and dishwasher clogged up creating a huge leak/mess all over my kitchen floor. Within 40 minutes Josh was aty house fixing the issue! He was very nice and professional! He fixed the issue easily. He was supposed to be done work at 6pm, but decided to come help us out and be the life saver we needed without any resistance! I 100% recommend using Roto Rooter and if you get Josh you'll be very greatful!

The service man, John, promptly arrived within an hour. He listened attentively to a problem we had with a clog sewer line on the far side of the built in the 50's. Herouted the lines from the source and from inline back to the source. Once he determine the issue with the clog he used a heavy duty router whick cleaned the drain. We intend on using his services for other properties. Extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Roto Rooter was great about calling and keeping in touch with us about when someone would be at our house. Miguel was our technician and he was awesome! He had to come to our house late at night after working all day. He worked quickly and was kind and professional.

The service men were nice & knowledgable. The second serviceman explained more to us, had the first one explained the same things & checked the other toilets we would have made the higher priced decision initially instead of having them come back out & in the end paying about 250 more than if we had just done more in the first service call. This is a nationwide company with VERY FAST service. We may have been able to get a better price if we shopped around more, the cost was def more than we anticipated. The speed of service is for sure the advantage of using this company.

Edited: Jason, who was recently brought in to help improve the Tampa Roto-Rooter team, has been in touch with me regarding the issues we experienced. He took care of the amount my husband and I owed for the water remediation and apologized for how we were treated. Thank you, Jason!My husband and I discovered a leak in a pipe between the first and second floors of our house on the afternoon of New Year's Day 2022. We called several emergency plumbers, and Roto-Rooter was the one with the soonest availability -- the next morning for a plumber. After setting up our plumbing appointment, we received a call from a project manager, who came to our house that same evening to investigate the leak. We were pleased with this quick response time. Things went downhill from there. The plumber who came the next morning (day two) was inexperienced and couldn't fix our pipe issue; he said the pipe would need to be soldered and that his soldering gun didn't work well, plus that he didn't have experience soldering and that a more experienced plumber would need to be called in. After three hours at our house, all he'd done was look at the pipe, remove a small section of drywall from our ceiling, and spend a lot of time on the phone with dispatch supposedly trying to get a more experienced plumber to come over then. The next day (day three) we hadn't heard from Roto-Rooter by 11:00 a.m., so we called their national dispatch a few times. We tried contacting the project manager who'd initially come out, as he'd left us his card, but he never answered his phone, and his voicemail had someone else's information on it. We did leave voicemails, which went un-returned. Finally, around 5:00 p.m., the local Roto-Rooter dispatcher called to let us know that our plumber team would arrive within forty-five minutes. It ended up being around an hour, but our plumber team was great! They were the best part of working with Roto-Rooter and the only reason this review doesn't have one star. Anthony and his assistant (apprentice?) did a wonderful job. Instead of soldering the pipe -- which he did know how to do -- Anthony recommended that we replace the entire section of pipe with the leak, as that would prevent future leaks with more certainly and would be what he'd do in his own home. They were done within a few hours, and we paid the Roto-Rooter invoice they left us and tipped them.Roto-Rooter was supposed to get in touch with us sometime the next day (day four) regarding water remediation for our ceiling around the pipe. Again, they didn't, and it took several calls to their local office Tampa this time -- as national and local dispatch weren't either very knowledgeable about the situation -- to hear from someone who said he would look into our project and arrange for a water remediation team to come out. Later that day, I was called back by a female office assistant who was the most helpful person I spoke to in the Tampa office. She told me when the water remediation people would be coming the following day. The following day (day five), the water remediation people came without much notice and set up a dehumidifier and a fan to direct it into the ceiling. The set-up was fine. However, the water remediation people didn't know exactly how long the dehumidifier might need to stay in place. One of them said he would call me in two days to see if he could come by then to check the levels in the ceiling. This vague time was an issue for both my husband and me, as we can only work from home on a permission-granted basis and don't work close to home, either. The dehumidifier wasn't removed until day seven, and we can only hope that all of the moisture was gone from our ceiling. We never got a specific explanation as to what was done RE: the water remediation, and they still haven't billed us for that. I *do not* recommend working with Roto-Rooter if you have any kind of emergency job, if you have a timeline for getting your work done, or if you need anything other than a basic plumber.

Our older water heater flooded our garage. Anthony came out quickly and was careful, fair and professional in every way. He replaced the hot water heater and repaired the wall connections servicing the machine. He worked without breaks for over 6 hours finalizing not only that job but helping with other items in the house that needed repairs. We highly recommend him and will request him for all plumbing problems in the future.

We had to redo the plumbing for the house we just bought after tree roots went into the pipes and destroyed them. We were so concerned about the amount of time and damage that it would take to replace all the plumbing, but not only was their team incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, they worked very fast and did an amazing job with minimal damage. Repaired broken main drain and thoroughly Jet washed all drains to interior toilets.(Excellent job). However baised on the price you charged why did you NOT additionally pour your liquid cleaner into all sink, tub, disposal and shower drains. Since you didn't include that with what you changed, I would say you did not meet or exceed MY EXPECTATIONS, HOWEVER your Work Crew DID!!!

I used Roto-Rooter today and the Plumbing Tech was Miri -WOW what great work. His father was a Plummer and he is soooooo knowledgeable and helpful.If you own a CONDO he is the TECH to request. I have a 5th floor condo with a tub pipe leak. He was very good at communicating and explaining what I needed to fix and why He saved me so much money because we were able to go through the closet in my 2nd bedroom rather than tear out all the tile. Charles Kruse and Sean could not have been more professional, polite or effective. I was recommended to this office of Roto-Rooter by a family friend who works with them commercially and we're fortunate to have had the recommendation. We had a fairly complicated flush ceiling mounted rain shower system with 3 body jets and hand spray installed in our walk in shower. It was a 2-3 day project that was done with care and obvious know-how. Some small adjustments needed to be made after we noticed them day 1 after install when using the new shower. Charles was quick to reach out and had Sean come back to fine tune everything and now the shower is 100% perfect and couldn't be more luxurious.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serious job to be handled by serious professionals.

The workers are; very nice, helpful and hard working. They do a lot to get the job done and proper. The man Ray, worked very hard! Called RR today for main line clog, our 10th call in 1 year of home ownership. Dani did a great job snaking the clog, but she called her supervisor Randy Olaski and he went above and beyond! We had a flood in our house due to a broken pipe in the wall. Roto-Rooter got us all fixed and took care of everything. I want to especially recognize NICK SMITH w/ water services. He was incredible! He was with us every step of the way from start to finish, including helping with our Home Owners Insurance claim. He was respectful, punctual and continued to follow up with us many times. I hope nothing like this happens in our home again but if it does, I will 100% be demanding to work with Nick. Thank you!

Company is less than honest. They will not discuss pricing over the phone, but when they get to your home they tell you it is $500 to clear the drain pipe and $625 to lift the toilet. Further, they do not tell you that it is company policy not to step on your roof to clear a drain through a stack pipe. Come on RotoRooter, be honest. Talk pricing on the phone.

Adrian was really fast, gave us an estimate before he started so we didn’t get any surprises, he took about an hour to unclog what was a bunch of the previous owners hair and a nice oatmeal plug that stopped about halfway through the house. It wasn’t cheap, but plumbing is one of those unavoidable expenses, and it was comparable to other plumbing services we’ve had. He also replaced a gasket. And honored the coupon we had and was very professional.Life hack: DO NOT wash a bowl with oatmeal without scraping it into the garbage completely.In fact just throw the whole dish awayActually just never have it in your house.(And shave your family’s head)😂

We noticed an issue around 9pm on Tuesday evening. We realized it was a much bigger issue than we could deal with and called around. The person on the other end of the call, wish I could remember her name, was very professional, but at the same time made a connection to this almost 38 week pregnant lady with dying toilets on the other end of the call. I was give. The choice to have someone out that night or the next day. The next morning I received a text to let me know my technician was on their way. They (my tech and a trainee) arrived had me walk them through the issue. He listened, but asked questions to better assess the issue. He then drew a rough diagram of what he thought might be the issue. After I agreed to the work, they got to work right away. They had both of my broken toilet lines fixed very quickly and were flexible with my requests to fix other issues that were discovered (poorly installed toilet & clogged shower drain). Miree was outstanding. I would highly recommend him, and the next time I have an issue, will ask for him! Very satisfied with the work that was done. I feel like the techs are well trained and informed; more importantly they can relay that information onto the consumer. It was not a cheap fix, but as opposed to other plumbing companies, I don’t feel like we got taken advantage of when we were desperate for help.

Yulio was both professional and likeable. He did a killer job with the fix and I will call them next time I need plumbing work done!

Overall the experience was positive. The work was completed properly and in an efficient manner with a 90 day warranty. The financing available at no interest for 6 months was beyond appreciated. The employee was in uniform, well groomed and even wore coverings over hiss boots to protect my floor. I have used this plumbing service twice and both experiences were positive. A discount for returning customers would be the only improvement I would suggest.

4th of July, woke up to water under kitchen sink and on floor... RR WAS HERE BY 9AM!Elvis was great. Prompt and professional. He was very apogetic that problem was our Reverse Osmosis system, which he could not fix today, but he did get it bypassed so we can use the sink and dishwasher.We have warranty on the RO system and will get that company out to fix, but really needed the leak to stop, and If not using the kitchen sink until we could get them man was not an option!Very happy to have someone to come out on a holiday to stop the leak and get us working again.

Prior to calling Roto-Rooter I had 3 other plumbers come to my home to unclog the same toilet 3 times since Thanksgiving. With their help I discovered that build-up in the sewer line from the kitchen is what was causing the clog at the Y where the 2 lines join. I also discovered I had installed the wrong size parts in the tank & for that reason the tank was not completely emptying. Thus the item(s) flushed did not go completely down the drain. I saw the difference with my own eyes both before & after they put in the new parts & cleared the kitchen sinks which were draining very slowly. They also told me to not use any acid stuff in the drains because it can eat through the pipes. That explains the leaky pipe I had last year- it was a leak that was nowhere near a joint. I am soooo happy they helped me & showed me what they were doing & explaining everything to me. Very professional men. I am impressed.

I clogged my kitchen sink drain up real good during the making of dinner which was the worst possible time for it to happen so I had dirty dishes piling up everywhere and we hadn’t even eaten yet. I had called other places but they couldn’t get anybody out to me until the next day or later! So I called Roto-Rooter and they were able to send someone within an hour! Serviceman Scott Bowers came out quickly, with his mask on for Covid protection, and quickly fixed the problem. When he was done he cleaned the area he worked at. He was very professional. I would recommend him and his company.

What went well? They were easy to reach and dispatched quickly.The bathroom clog was fixed. What didn't go well? Major upsell. Instead of snaking through the roof they removed the toilet and charged $700.00 to fix the clog. They did a poor job of caulking the toilet again.When I wanted to use a coupon for $75.00 off they offered my a 1 liter bottle of their own drain-o in lieu of a $75 reduction. That bottle was not worth $75.00. Then they wanted to upsell me to have pipes pressure washed for an additional $3,000. I guess they think people are made of gold. Have used this company in the past without issue but this was very much a disappointment. They have class action lawsuits in other states and apparently operate on a high commission sales model so there is major upselling going on. I don't need that. Sorry, I want a company I can trust.

They were very courteous and professional. Both field supervisors troubleshooted the issue and explained the available options I had. The gave me tips in maintenance and quotes for replacing the system. All in all I’m very happy and have Roto Rooter on my speed dial !

Wife called me with the kitchen sink backing up and clogged while I was at work. After trying several home remedies, it was time to call Roto Rooter to the rescue. I called around 4:45p.m. and the tech showed up around 6:15p.m. The tech ran the snake which apparently we had a terrible clog in the kitchen sink which consisted of build up of who knows what. Muka the Roto Rooter Tech # 791 was very pleasant and professional. I would say a great asset to the company. He got the job done within a 1 hour and our kitchen sink was clog free. We had a real mess with a backed up sewer drain. The house is old and the system a little complex. Tyler stuck with it and got it cleared. It was a great relief! He said the work is warranted for 6 months, so that is good too. Great job!

They did great work... on a SUNDAY. A lot of other places were closed or didn't answer the phone. The Roto-Rooter dispatch gave me a 4 hour window, but it took less than an hour for Alex to arrive (plus they call to give you a 30 min heads up that they're on the way). I highly recommend him . we had clogged drain initially that ended up into a main line clog but after getting services of Roto- Rooter all was just set and also got 6 months warranty too with 40$ discount. They provided us service on Sunday that was also an additional privilege too .

Considering everyone is short staffed and overworked. The tech was only a few hours later than the schedule said. It wasnt his fault.

I had an emergency situation on a holiday. Most places were charging fees for service, but not Roto-Rooter. A technician came out, he was very professional, informative and nice. He found what was wrong and gave me suggestions. He even worked on our kitchen pipes for a discount because he knew he couldn't fix it for good.The only thing I felt could be improved is the price. I spent about $500 for them to unclog my bathroom pipes (though they did have roots growing in them) and to work on the kitchen pipes. I was then quoted $2000 to replace my bathroom pipes. These amounts were a bit unreal to me.I also had to wait much longer than the original window I had been told as they were running behind. As it was a holiday, I didn't care as I needed it done (only one bathroom in our house of 3 people, no bueno).Overall, they were great, just a bit out of budget for me.

Our technician was great. Arrived on time and promptly showed us the issues and gave great information on what we can do, what to expect, etc. Would use again.

We needed our sewer line unclogged and toilet remounted, therefore I called the Root-Rooter. Within 2 hours we had a plumber working on our issue. He knew what to do right away and fixed the problem. I also liked that I didn't have to tell him to take his shoes off or use shoe covers because that was a first thing he did before entering our home. Very clean, organized and respectful!

I have a tankless water heater. The water was no longer getting hot. I called Roto Rooter and they sent out Muka. Muka found the problem; there was a bad heating element. Muka was very friendly and knowledgeable. He talked me through the entire process step by step. He helped me determine what parts were needed and how to get them. If you're interested in getting ripped off or taking advantage of this is the company to call we had an emergency situation and we were quoted over $6000 to have the problem fixed. We ended up calling the city instead. They came out and fixed it for free. There's no doubt in my mind that this company was aware that this could've been a city problem and rather than trying to help us they tried to take advantage of us.

Our house had a leak in the meter this past weekend. We called at 12 pm and made a reservation between 2 pm to 4 pm. The plumber arrived at 6:30 pm. He repaired the leak and when the person of the city came to put the water back on, the pipe had the same leak. After being without water (with four kids) for the entire day, we had to stay in another place because the plumber said that he had to come back the other day (Sunday). We waste our day waiting for a plumber and without water.UPDATE: On Sunday, March 20th, we rechecked the water meter and to our surprise it was flooded. Had to call the city again to get it inspected. It turns out the new work done by this company was not a 100% complete as it was cracked and leaking. We have to call again and waited until Monday morning to get the repair done because per this company's customer service stated that they only had junior experienced technicians available on this day.

Clogged toilet, they were professional and available same day, but quite pricey compared to others. $300 for a two min snake job. Other companies charge $79-$99 for the same service, but again they were the only ones available the day I needed.

A pipe broke during a plumbing repair and they called their remediation team to come out the same day. I was not impressed with the gentleman that came to remediate initially and called the office and spoke to Tim and he had someone out the next day. Mike set up equipment to dry everything out and avoid any potential mold growth. After a week, he came back to ensure everything was dry. He was professional and responsive and was willing to even answer the many questions my inquisitive toddler had for him.

Toilet wasn't flushing properly. Drini Cenko ran a line and cleaned out the pipe which was clogged with roots which came from the oak trees in the neighbor's yard. He did an excellent job!

The appointment was late by almost 90 minutes, though judging by how thorough their worker Elvis was in regards to fixing my plumbing issue I dont mind even as late as it ran the repair time.He was polite, responsive, friendly, and professional while helping me understand what future steps I can easily take at home to help reduce risk of a further issue and have better upkeep. Overall he himself was a 10/10.Only complaint is in dispatch not being communicative. I was originally told 830, then 930. I get it delays happen, jobs take longer. At 9 they said he was 20 minutes away, I called at 930 and when I spoke to them was brushed off he's 15 minutes away which turned out to be almost 45 minutes at 1015. 7/10 here, just wanted some honest realism is all.

I originally called to have my water heater replaced and the next thing I know I have water pouring out of the ceiling in the garage. I have only been in the house a month so the last thing I want to do is call my insurance company. Anthony was so helpful with finding the location of the problem which was the AC in the closet. I was able to get a technician in immediately and get the AC fixed and stop any further damage. I will definitely be using and recommending this company (especially Anthony). It is so rare to feel like you really matter as a customer to a company and not just a means to an end.

Called seeking an estimate to install a check valve in my residential home. Had already received two quotes. The telephone operator didn't have an answer for me and said she would have someone call me right back. Chuck called an hour later. He asked what I wanted and then explained very clearly how my system really worked and why I didn't need to spend thousands of dollars installing a valve I didn't really need. Chuck not only suggested an alternative, but said he personally had an extra part that he would drop off at my house for free. That is exactly what he did. If we had more people like Chuck in our world, it would be a better place.Next time I need a plumber, Roto-Rooter is going to be my first call.

Received service the same day. Repairman was here within 2 hours. Total experience went well. The guy was really good and got the job done but showing up without a mask lost you 1 star. Especially after I was Covid-Screened over the phone, told he would ba masked and our entire house wore masks to make him feel safe. Not everyone here has been vaxed. Our safety was not considered. Other than that, the overall service experience was perfect. Nice job!

The guys were awesome. Gave me upfront info and beat the previous companies quotes by over $1k. Plus they did the work same day and didn't have to set it out a weel or two. Thanksgiving Eve is not great timing for a plumbing disaster resulting in no running water. Resolution needed to be immediate, We called Roto Rooter; and, it was a wonderful experience - as wonderful as a plumbing need can be. They were communicative and arrived in a timely fashion. They were incredibly neat and professional; and, we were entirely pleased with their service.

Mr. Roland Meco was an awesome tech to have. He showed up within an hour an a half of calling. Within 5 Minutes he already knew what the issue was and what the solution was. We can't afford to replace the cast iron pipe right now, but he was able to clear the line and descale very quickly and effectively! 10/10 would recommend. If I ever need plumbing work again, I'll definitely be calling and requesting Roland specifically.

The plumber that responded to our issue was nice and completed the job for us. The one-star review was because a plumber was supposed to come back the following day to snake the line with a camera to identify the problem in the main line. No one ever showed up or called. The return service was included in the over $500 initial cost...ridiculous! Very disappointed.

Myner from Roto Rooter was out technician. He was courtesy, friendly and got the job done. We had to have a pipe repaired and we called several other companies only to find out they wouldn’t be able to help us until a week later which meant no water for that time period. Roto-Rooter plumbing had our technician out in a matter of a couple of hours and had the pipe repaired quickly. We will not call anyone else from this point on.

We had both toilets completely replaced and will need about 12 feet of pup replaced in order for everything to work properly. The team was very helpful and friendly when we asked questions. They were concerned about clean up afterwards and did a great job. I would recommend them to others.

Called Roto Rooter to clean out a clogged drain that backed up in my shower and toilet. I had called another company and they had no one available today, Roto Rooter was here within the hour! 7/13/20 Had clogged toilet over the weekend. RotoRooter sent Spence out first available time on that Monday. He was here less than 10 minutes and fixed the clog and also checked the other toilets. He wore a mask, gloves, booties and had his machine wrapped in a bag so as not to drip or dirty the rug. He also took the coupon I got online. Thank you!

Cody and Tyler were very professional and friendly. They wore and used all PPE equipment. They were able to talk with me about the problem and used terms that were easy to understand. They explained everything very clearly. They diagnosed the problem quickly and quickly began they repair. They were very thorough and double checked everything once the repair was completed. They walked me through each step and explained what to look for in case of future problems. They gave me a container of Pipe Shield for free. This preventative pipe treatment will last an entire year and will not harm the pipes. I’ve used it once and it smells really nice.They used a camera to check for problems inside the pipes. This service was at no charge to me. The cost of the repair was very fair.I plan on calling Roto-Rooter in the future and I would highly recommend the.company and the technicians Cody and Tyler.

Our drains overflowed on a Friday night. Nasty mess! We called Roto-Rooter and they promptly had service out at 8:00 am the next morning. Elvis was professional and did a great job of unclogging our sewer drain. Sam, his Supervisor, came with a camera and found out that the clogged drains were from a break in the city sewer pipe located on our property. We are now waiting for the city to repair it. I would definitely recommend this company for your plumbing issues.

We called in a panic, as we have before, because our kitchen was flooding with water. Roto-rooter answers the call with a pleasant, really helpful person in about one second. We spoke with Emmitt, the Leak Detection Guru, in about 10 minutes and he told us 5 things to do until he came the next morning. His professionalism, knowledge and smiling face were incredible and after climbing ladders, filming the piping, listening for clogs with a machine, and showing us the pictures he found the problem. He then sent Josh who came 15 minutes later, and Rotorooterd our pipes and cured our problem. These young men are top notch in every way...even Manny came to check on any water damage. Wow! What a company, almost 100 Hundred Years Old! I give them 100 stars ...AND AWAY GO TROUBLES DOWN THE DRAIN....ROTO ROOTER!!

I normally shy away from using “big-name” national companies for services available from well-reviewed local firms, thinking that I’m paying alot for their advertising. When my sewer line clogged yesterday I contacted two local firms. The first never bothered to return my calls. The second couldn’t schedule me until four days later. In desperation I called Roto-Rooter.The experience couldn’t have been better! Artind, the service tech, arrived at my house within 40 minutes of my call and immediately got to work. He was courteous and professional in every way. Unlike many service people we have used in the past, he changed his shoe coverings each time he entered the house!The drains in our 70 year old house presented some difficulties so Artind called in a more experienced tech Drini. He was just as courteous and professional as Artind. They both worked assiduously until the clog was finally cleared.From this experience, I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter Services of Tampa - especially if you are lucky enough to get either Artind(#0746) or Drini(#267) on your job.The price, $440, was reasonable for the work done.

I had a small leak on the wall on Friday 5-20-22 I did open the claim with my insurance, and I call Roto Rooter Water Restoration Service of Tampa Florida.Salesperson of Roto Rooter and the insurance adjuster arrived and agreed to make the water restoration.In the afternoon Roto Rooter technician start working without waiting that the leak to be fixed or without closing the main water line and accidentally he hit the pipe and flooded the room and the water went to other 2 rooms living room and dining room.I called the manager of water restoration of Roto Rooter in Tampa and I did not get a professional response by phone, the company needs to train the managers how to treat the customer.Water restoration start working and trying to dry without removing the laminate, the machines worked 4 days and when I removed the laminate by myself, I found water all over and smell of mold in all rooms.Roto Rooter told me that they will take care, but I don't hear anything from them waiting more that 1 week to get any report after their inspection.I found Roto Rooter very unprofessional in working and handling my case, they damaged my house and are doing nothing to help me out and declined to my insurance even was not a leak, but a flooding caused by Roto Rooter Water restoration team.Never want to use in the future this company.

I called Roto-Rooter for a water heater issue because I used them for a gas leak issue a few years back without outstanding service and work. However this go around the tech came out and my confidence is his knowledge was lacking from the first minute. He did not know which button to push to test the pilot light on my gas heater. I had to tell him which one it was. Then he quoted me $770 to repair my 13 year old water heater or $2,100 to replace it. Unbelievable since I found my brand new replacement at Lowes for $650 and installed it myself. And that’s with a 5 year warranty on the unit. These companies are counting and preying on the general public’s lack of knowledge of these and other units and WAAAYYY overcharging for the service. Not impressed and I won’t be using Roto-Rooter again. They lost a customer.

We had a wonderful experience with Rotor-Rooter. They were, FRIENDLY, PERSONABLE, and KNOWLEDGEABLE! The technician, Robert Mason, kept us informed with the progress of the repair which was done in a very timely manner. We are so thankful to have the leak fixed and stop wasting money and water.

First time using a plumbing service. There were a couple things I liked and a couple, not so much. I was happy they were available the day I called but was not happy waiting for almost an hour when I was advised that they were on their way. The Service technician, Mike #1163 was courteous and professional. Informative and up front. The price to repair a clogged toilet seemed a bit steep, 265.00 considering it only took them about 10 minutes to fix. But I've never called a plumber before, maybe that's the normal fee? I'm beginning to doubt my career choices. Should have been a plumber. Aside from that, I had a coupon for 40.00 that they gladly accepted and on top of that, they fixed my faucet (low flow) at no extra charge. Overall I was very satisfied with the service. Not so much the price though.

Hello,Initially, we met a service technician at around 8:15 in the morning. This technician had close to no ambition to look at the unit itself but rather tell us we needed to replace the entire unit and added on additional parts that would be better for us. This diagnosis was in essence looking at the machine for less than a minute and coming to his conclusion with no information backing it up other than some visible rust.When we asked for more details he tiptoed around the subject and just went straight back to replacing the entire unit for $1,600.We called in to Roto-Rooter and explained that we are all about the service and in this particular experience we felt that the priority was more about making quick money than fixing the problem or educating his clients as to the problem.The operater apologized profusely and escalated the comments to that technician supervisor. They went the extra mile to have another technician respond within 30 to 45 minutes. This technician not only looked at the hot water heater but did a detailed check of the entire unit. He came back and explain to us exactly what was wrong down to the faulty parts inside the unit and how they could of went bad. He provided us options and a recommendation to replace the unit.The second technician was very knowledgeable and friendly and was able to provide the service we expected from Roto-Rooter. We followed through with sealing the deal and paid for a $1,200 service call to purchase and install a new hot water heater (the price somehow went down $400 too...)Five stars for the way the company handled this circumstance because it initially was about to be A 1 star.

I had company in town and needed a clogged drain repaired quickly. They replied and came out promptly but then told my wife they couldn't find the clean out and would need to remove/replace a toilet to do the work and the cost would be $700. I was in a bad spot and needed the work done so I approved (knowing this was a really easy thing to do). One guy did the work in less than two hours.Needless to say I feel incredibly ripped off at $350 per man hour!Don't use these guys! check with friends and neighbors now (before you need it) to find a reputable outfit please.

Raif did a great job. He was very careful and did things right. Polite as well. Not happy with the sky high prices. And, if parts like simple fittings were needed it would have cost $105 more to wait for the plumber to go get them? It's crazy to charge a customer for not having fittings on the truck. I had a leak under the concrete slab foundation of my house. Everyone I worked with was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They found, repaired, and resolved the issue in less than 24 hours, over a weekend. Their prices came in higher than others, the full service and weekend hours are worth it.

He had I little wet detector and took pictures to prove he was here and advised the that the person coming in the morning would do the work the drain issue. Leonard was our tech, he was polite and professional. The price was outrageous as stated by others.

I called for clogged drain which in the past cost about 250. This time we were told that they could open up our drains but they needed to take off both toilets to do it. So over 900 later and on the 5 visit. Of which the last 2 were late we are having the same problem. We are being told that we have a belly that is catching debis but we never had this much of an issue. Called for Manager on Fri and Still have yet to hear from one. Techs are super nice but I don’t trust the company. Stay away and go with someone else. We have a six moth warranty but they are going to tell us we need to spend more.

Miri was absolutely fantastic. My kitchen sink was clogged. Miri came in and was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the situation and what he needed to do. After job was completed he explained everything, cleaned up.

Making an appointment was easy, Keli the technician was friendly, informative and forthcoming, and when Brian the manager arrived to give an exact quote for a major repair, he also was friendly and more than willing to talk about options, timing, pricing, etc. Were they a little expensive? Yes, but I knew what I was getting into from the beginning and having a reputable, experienced name made the holiday that less stressful.

My technician was Manny, who came out on a Sunday night at 9 o’clock to fix my toilet that was badly clogged and overflowed throughout the whole bathroom and into the hallways. I cleaned up the initial overflow and tried plunging it for two hours with no success. I was desperate. He used an auger and even that took six different passes to remove the clog. I am so very very grateful for the service I don’t know what else I would have done. Thank you Manny.

After numerous calls to different plumbing companies, I came across Roto Rooter. But not just any roto rooter…. I got the best of the best. Josh Gardner came out and quoted us for the job. He was able to accommodate last minute and on a holiday. He was very knowledgeable about the process and said his guys could get started asap. Day 1, his guys arrived on time and got the job going. Cody and Tyler Stringer…. Talk about a dream team. They were professional, knowledgeable, and great to talk to. We left them alone all day and they even locked up our house before they left and turned the lights off. Day 2 - They finished the job!! They were very minimal in dry wall damage... I joked and called them contractors - but they were really that skilled. He leveled every piece he cut and put them back after so it’d be easier to repair later. They cleaned up after themselves, and made sure to screw my dishwasher back in properly. Very happy with my experience!!! I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Cody did a great job, his supervisor Joshua came on site and did a courtesy camera view. Thank goodness I didn't have cracked pipes or roots, just a clog that was quickly removed. I'm thrilled with the service provided. The plumber was courteous, informative, and did a wonderful job. Before Roto-Rooter I had another plumbing company come and give me an estimate and they told me my entire shower area would have to be replaced at an extremely high cost. When Aldean from Roto-Rooter came he assessed the situation and the repair did not require anything having to be replaced. He got to work right away and made the necessary repairs. Technician arrived roughly in the middle of my 2-hour window. Got a 30-min confirmation call beforehand. Tech was able to evaluate situation and make repair. My only concern would be the cost of the labor. Seemed a little high for the level of complexity and the time it took to perform the job. Materials rates were satisfactory.

Both gentlemen that did the work on my property today were excellent- they were upfront about pricing, the issues causing the problem, how to make sure the issue did not arise again, and what the job would entail. In addition to being absolute professionals, they were also very courteous and kind- my two dogs absolutely adored them as well. I highly recommend.

Called with a non-emergency, I told them they could come anytime that week. They told me they could arrive the next day, from 9am to 1pm. Very convenient! I waited the next day...By 11 am, I got a call. They would call when a plumber was on the way. If there wasn't one on the way within an hour, they would call to let me know.Nothing by 13:40. So I called. Got transferred. Put on hold. Then disconnected. Called back. Told it would be soon.1pm... I called again. Told I was next.It is now 3:30 pm. And I have heard nothing.In the meantime, I took three trips to Home Depot, and spent some time on YouTube. I am grungy and sweaty, but I fixed the problem myself.Update: 3:43 and I just got a call that they are still waiting for a technician to become available.I will not use Roto-Rooter again. I am done patronizing businesses that think it is okay to make customers wait so long.

Called Roto-Rooter this morning 12/27 because my kitchen faucet decided to start dripping at a rapid pace after a slow drip before Christmas and it gradually turned into a steady stream. I spoke to the customer service person and she was really nice and took all my info down and stated is 10-2 ok for you which I agreed. They called a little later stating the plumber was on his way. Robert arrived at my house and quickly assessed the situation, stated the price of the work and started the job. He talked to me as what he was fixing and advising on other situations. Robert did great work and I totally recommend him in the future and also to use Roto-Rooter. I am very happy with the work and Robert.

My hot water heater quit working so i called Roto Rooter and they were able to come out the same day, however it was late so I made an appointment for the next morning. They showed up first thing in the morning and installed a new water heater (the old one could not be fixed, it was about 12 years old and needed replaced) as well as corrected a few other issues they found while there. I was very happy with my service and will call again if I need plumbing services

Randomly my shower head started a slow leak, so went online for someone who could come next day. Was super easy to digitally make the appointment that night and before noon the next day someone was here. The fix itself was a bit expensive for less than an hour of work, but I’m pleased with the outcome and appreciated the prompt fix.

Wow! I was really impressed by Josh’s super quick response time! He got here quickly and solved our problem almost immediately. He really saved the night!

Nick came out after having some communication issues this being my 5th plumbing company to come out to do what I requested. I asked that they come out to run a camera for my sewer system to make sure I had no issues as I will be doing some remodeling soon and wanted to make sure there were no issues that would destroy those things I want to do in the near fiture. Nick did advise if I was not having plumbing issues the use of running a camera probably wasn't necessary but if I wanted to do that he would. I appreciated the honesty so I asked him to go ahead as the money I would spend would set my mind at ease. Nick pulled the toilet and did as requested and no problems were detected. We discussed other things I need done and the decision was an easy one to make appt made that fit my schedule and plans are set in motion. Ariol was a godsend when our main line backed up and a very gross situation was bubbling up through the shower drain. He was polite, professional, and very informative. I noticed water coming up from my flooring in my kitchen late in the evening. I called Roto-Rooter and they had a team of guys (one to assess the situation,a second for clean-up and a plumber) out first thing the next morning, on-time.Logan, Kevin and Jason are experienced, professional, knowledgeable and caring (a rarity these days). I am a relatively new homeowner and they all took the time to answer my arsenal of questions.They held my hand through the many steps in this extremely stressful situation. Josh was the technician that came out and repaired our leak. He was very professional and thorough with his explanation. Josh came right in and set the expectations. He quickly located the leak and explained the next steps. He was spot on with his observations and diagnosis. There was a minor leak behind the wall. He replaced the pipe and made sure everything was working before he left. He called a water restoration specialist so they could survey the water damage. Scheduling is HORRIBLE!! My initial appointment was 4pm-8pm, then it was switched earlier to 12pm-4pm, I received a call that they are working to get someone out to me today. 4:45pm, they called stating that I will be the first priority visit tomorrow 8am-10am with a $50 off labor (there is a $40 coupon on their website). So next day, I called at 9am, the service technician needs to submit their paperwork so a dispatcher will call me when he is 30 min out. I waited until 10am and I was told that dispatcher was in the process of calling me any minute. I waited an hour and called back at 11am, was told the technician was nearby and to wait. I cancelled this service as this company is unprofessional and unable to even keep up with their scheduled times. I do not want to do business with a company who treats their customers (or potential customers) like this!! I took almost 2 days off from work for nothing but aggravation. Thanks for nothing Roto-Rooter!!!

If you do not value your time or need to have confidence in the competency of the plumber assigned to your job, this company is for you.In need of a new water heater, I called to get a quote for installation and replacement. They refused to give an estimate over the phone and require and in person inspection. I was given a window of arrival between 8 and 10am and was told I would receive a phone call when the plumber was on his way. By 10:30 with no word or update, I called to inquire about the timetable. They couldn’t give me one, only “you are next.” No one showed up until just about 1pm. The plumber who showed up was unapologetic, appeared inexperienced and unfamiliar with the job needing to be done. He struggled to identify the size and model of the tank or answer my questions about the installation. After wasting the majority of my day, I declined the service. I will not be a customer in the future.

The plumber they sent out was so nice. He explained everything that was wrong and told me everything I could do to prevent it from happening in the future. He had to come inside to fix the clog but he even cleaned up the stuff in the tub that came up from the drain after he was done.

Called multiple plumbing business to see who could get to my house the fasted on a Saturday for my plumbing need. Well I was told by this company they could get here between 8am-10am. Received a call around 9am saying they had to push it back to 12am to 2pm. I understood it was a Saturday and they got backed up. But then came 4pm still no service called biz for response said possible 6:30pm. I asked should I except service today? They assured me they would get to me. Well 8pm past and still no service or call to tell me they weren’t going to make it. Wasted my whole day waiting and wasting time my time with trying to work with this company. Worst part about it was the poor coummication, nobody called me or emailed me to follow up nor did they offer to see someone at first thing in the morning the next day. Very poor customer service will not be using this biz in the future nor will I ever recommend them. Very disappointing.

Surprise sewage back up greeted me this morning. Roto Rooter came out ASAP and cleared the drain and fixed a second problem that was occuring.

I live in Seminole, Florida. We had a drainage issue so we called Roto-Rooter. Keli arrived on time and within COVID19 standards. He found the problem within minutes and got to work. My sinks now drain without clogging up! Thank you Keli.

Great company, highly recommend. Called Roto Rooter and they had someone to the house within an hour. We had a clogged main line. The tech worked on getting the main cleared, but needed to scope the drain with a camera since it was clearing. Nick the field supervisor was there in 15 mins with the camera. The house was built in the 60's an unfortunately there was a section made of Orange Berg pipe (google it). Not good. Nick and the team saved the day! They were back the next day, since it involved digging a trench and replacing the pipe. Plumbing has never worked better! Plus they do have financing available with 18 months 0%.

Called for remediation when sewer backed up in condo. The inspector was great - knowledgeable, helpful and the reason for 2 stars. The project manager was completely non-communicative. They placed the equipment, did not take readings as scheduled, shared no test results with me. I kept calling until he finally sent someone out to get the equipment. Maybe they were storing it here? I will not be using this service again.

Saturday afternoon I called Tampa Bay Root-Rooter for assistance. My plumber was not available. The sewer had backed up into the toilet and tub. This was an issue we had in the past because of orange burg sewer-line placed back in the 1950's. (Raif 0273) came to the house. He was very professional. He spent over an hour carefully cleaning out the drain. He was straight forward about the line needing repair or replacement and that due to the condition of the breached sewer line the clean out carried no guarantee. He said it was in our best interest to have this taken care of quickly. Our community suffers from sewer-line issues and we all need to take some responsibility for our infrastructure. Sewers are not sexy but very critical. He offered to have an appointment set for a camera survey of the line. He contacted Guy Shipman to assess the damage done by the water that had leaked under the toilet seal. He provided an estimate to have that wax seal replaced. I had a $40.00 off coupon which he honored. I have needed this service in the past and I must say this plumbing experience was excellent. Thank you Raif. Thank you Roto Rooter.

I like that they were on time and had good communication as well as send pics. I disliked their prices and the negotiating on them. They charged me $730 for a clogged drain and new disposal. All my family & friends told me after how awful that pricing was. He originally said $520 but it went up. After he told me disposals are nothing but problems and he doesn’t suggest them at rentals. So therefore I will not use them ever again and want to warn others against it too if he had mentioned that from the beginning maybe I wouldn’t feel this way. Highly unsatisfied.

I had a handyman replace a part in my toilet this morning, when done there was water on the floor. I thought it was coming from the bathtub. I called Roto Rooted and explained the situation. I was very pleased with the technician. He was very knowledgeable. However, I was very disappointed with the company and I may not use them again. I had roots growing in my pipe and they charged $276 with a $40 coupon to clean them out. NO warranty for the service either, and they didn't use a camera (which seems like an expected tool for a job like this) especially with such a well known company. If I wanted to get a someone out to use the camera to locate where the roots were entering into the pipe, it would be an additional charge of $425. I called around and found other companies that included the camera service in their initial visit and fees, and I feel regretful that I didn't try someone them.

We had completely stopped up toilets and sinks and shower drain issues. Keli, our service person, was wonderful - considerate (he put on a mask when I asked), thorough, professional and very nice. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter. The day after Christmas a galvanized pipe outside my home deteriorated and started to leak water at a fast rate. After trying to turn off my water and disconnect the pipe to no avail I called Roto-Rooter. The dispatcher said she'd try to find someone and see if they can turn off the water that night - it was almost 10pm when I called! Well - Anthony and his trainee Joe showed up not too long after and showed out! Not only did they shut the water off to stop the leak temporarily they stayed and fixed/replaced the deteriorated part. Before midnight I had my water back on and the issue was resolved with a flat rate. A special thanks to Anthony and Joe for their professionalism and kindness. They also took a moment to show me how to turn off my water myself if this were to happen again.

The tech that came out to help us was really great. He was able to get the main drain line unclogged without too much issue. This did cost 560$ for the after hours visit and repairs so its a bit expensive but he did a great job and was very up front with the cost and how he would be doing the work.

After trying to get a plumber for a couple of days, I finally decided to call Roto-Rooter. To my surprise they were able to come within an hour, the estimate was free and the technician was prepared to resolve my issue in the same visit. Although it was a little more than I prepared to spend it was very much worth it. The technician was knowledgeable, efficient. polite and he resolved the plumbing problem. I will definitely use Roto-Rooter again.

Today, Saturday, Keli (Tech #3055) came to fix a drainage problem. He was very thorough in explaining up front what he thought the problem was, what he could do and how much I would be charged. He was very efficient and solved the problem. He gave us suggestions on how to keep the problem from happening again. I definitely would use Roto-Rooter again, if necessary.

I called on a Sunday afternoon and was promised a 4 hour window for one of my rentals. They weren't able to make the time and booked for the next morning. Tech arrived the next morning and had the problem sorted in less than 2 hours.

I was looking for a second opinion in regards to a potentially collapsed/broken drain pipe and I was told to try calling Roto Rooter. I called around 5pm and they were able to make it to the house by 6pm! Elvis was very up front about the pricing (which I absolutely appreciated) for the services he recommended and also very professional. I told him what the previous plumber said, and evaluated the problem based on that. He seemed very experienced, I felt that he really listened to me and didn’t try to push for services I didn’t need based on what was done already by the previous plumber. In the end, the leak couldn’t be fixed by himself, and I only had to pay for the labor, but wish I had called Roto Rooter in the first place. Thank you Elvis!

First responder was Shaun Neaviland who came out on a Sunday to fix our plumbing issue (Thank YOU Shawn). I was doing laundry and the toilet exploded spewing sewage throughout my home. Shaun worked diligently to fix the problem. He checked plumbing by using the tub to see if there was any backup, but it was clear. When he left I turned on the shower and up came the sewage again. The next day Scott Bowers showed up. I explained the problem and he went right to work. Within minutes he found the backup from the toilet went into the shower drain as well. Once cleared we checked all services; laundry, toilet, tub & shower and all was clear. Fast, efficient, amazing! I also would like to shout out to Roto-rooters Restoration Group with lead Adriana and her team, they were amazing with the cleanup on my Cat 3 event. Thank you all for being an excellent team!!!

I called and spoke with a very nice lady (Tracy) who promptly set up an appointment the same night within an hour and a half of calling. He took the time to diagnose the problem and explained to us exactly what he believed was wrong and why. Had it taken care of in no time and was super friendly and respectful the entire time. This was a horrible experience after an emergency call. I would assume they are jacking up the price because of an emergency. The first inspector to came out quoted us at $750. Then the field technician came out and said he didn't know what the other guy was talking about and said it should be much cheaper. The third guy that came quoted us $1200 and when we refused, said, What? You don't want your water back on? Absolutely horrible, please work on company communication.Update: We were able to resolve issue next day for less than $100

It was close to midnight and our toilets were over flowing and sewage was coming up the tub!! I made the call to Roto-rooter and they were at my home in 40 mins. The technician came in, explained what was happening, the cost, and got started once I gave the ok. Not only did he find the problem, he fix it as well in 30 mins. Now my daughters and I have our bathrooms back with no worries.I definitely know if we have any other plumbing issues, I will be call Roto-rooter again.

I highly recommend this company. I had an overflow in the tub and out of the toilet and of course was leaving the next day on vacation. They came out same day and arrived within an hour of calling to schedule. Keli (#3055) was wonderful! He was very friendly and detailed in explaining every issue I had and what would need to be done. He was thorough in making sure the issue was taken care of and scheduled an appointment for me for additional repairs that will be needed to avoid more problems down the road. I contacted Roto-Rooter to determine how much (if any) moisture there was in our walls and ceiling due to a leak that occurred during an air conditioner installation. Drew Jones contacted me and gave me a time window when he’d arrive. He arrived promptly and was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Drew used a moisture meter as well as a moisture scanner to determine the extent of moisture in the specific areas. He also checked for moisture in another area for me unrelated to the air conditioner issue. Drew forwarded the appropriate information for me to pass on to the A/C contractor so that repairs can be made.I specifically contacted Roto-Rooter based on my previous experience with the company at my former home. I knew the moisture sensing equipment would give me a clear indication of the possible extent of moisture damage in this situation.

Very grateful . Responded within time slot . Called at 8 pm and Plumber/technician was here by 11-11:15 , he was very professional and left the bathroom very clean after leaving . Took about an hour which is very reasonable for plumbing issues . Would recommend .

The guy was a know-it-all that knew nothing... uggh Every time I showed him he was wrong he would change his story and tell me something else that was not accurate... It was expensive for what it was and painful to listen to his inaccuracies.

All in all this was a very positive experience from start to finish. The plumber came out on a rainy Sunday night to snake the drain and the next day they came in with a camera to diagnose the issue which was a main sewer pipe replacement. Not what I wanted to hear but once I decided to use them, they were out the next day working on the job. From permitting to excavation, all went like clockwork and they worked into the evening to finish up the job on day 2. Everyone I dealt with was professional and demonstrated a great work ethic and integrity. Highly recommend.

We just purchased a home in the northern Tampa area and were running our new washing machine for the first time when water started gushing from the drain pipe! I immediately stopped the washing machine and cleaned up the damage. When I noticed the tub and shower were backing up, I knew I had a clogged main sewer line. Since we are new to the area, we weren't familiar with any local plumbers, so we called Roto-Rooter. Josh came out and inspected the situation and gave us a few options with corresponding pricing. The price he quoted for a main drain snaking seemed high at first, but he was there for nearly 2 hours ensuring that the snake was making it all the way to the end of our drain. He took great care in removing and replacing our toilet (to access the drain) and even re-caulked the base. He cleaned up his work area and most importantly, got the job done! It was well worth the cost!

We had a surprise backup somewhere in our sanitary sewer system that knocked out both our bathrooms including backing up into the shower and the tub. Less than an hour after I called Roto-Rooter a technician rolled up in our driveway. And 2 1/2 hours later, Ben, our technician, located the source of the problem, eliminated the problem, and cleaned up such that one would never know the length he had to go to set things right (120 feet of snaking out our system to be exact!).5 stars does not properly indicate the level of service, but that is the highest that the scale goes. Personally, I put it more like 7 or 8 stars, but I am limited to 5.

We had a problem with a clogged drain to the main sewer on the morning of Saturday, December 30th and called RotoRooter at 9am for service. No other companies could help until Tuesday or Wednesday, but RotoRooter had a time slot available for 10am and showed up shortly after. They were professional and friendly and identified and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. Overall it was a great experience as the technician was friendly and got the job done. It saved us a lot of stress over the Nee Year’s weekend and I would highly recommend them.

Keli did a great job not only unclogging out drain but also informing us that we had damage to our main drain line from age and that it was something called Orangeburg pipe that is made out of tar paper. It started out okay but went downhill. Tech came and cut three holes that I asked for to try and locate the leak in the wall behind the washer and dryer. Over an hour later and the tech's manager showing up to give advice and help, leak was not found. Was told I'd have to call a leak detection company to pinpoint the leak. $150, please for time spent on this now.Called leak detection company recommended and this guy put in his headphones and used a handheld detector to listen for leak. He quickly said it was the sleeve surrounding the cold water pipe at the slab. A picture was taken of the drywall cutout showing the pipes with a blue tape arrow pointing downward and sent to the Rotor-Rooter field supervisor. The supervisor called me right after to quote me a price of $3,700 for a repair. I asked him how does he make a quite like that without knowing fir certain the slab will need busting up? I don't remember what he said. I told him I would think on this.Meanwhile I call my brother and he was livid hearing the quote I was given. He gave me the number of a couple of buddies that did plumbing work for him and said to call them. I called and the two buddies showed up around 6:30 PM. The one guy laid down and peered into the hole and within a minute spotted a cracked 45 degree coupling. Only using his eyeballs mind you. Fifteen minutes later the bad coupling was cut out and replaced good as new or better. I say better because he showed me where whoever did this pipe work used an ol yellowed coupler that was bought from Lowes and was probably installed with the Crack as he noted where it looked like excess glue was tried to seal the Crack.Less than a half hour's work and I was only charged $150. You don't find many of these guys around anymore.Big companies can get away with outrageous fees I suspect because they think you will make a claim on your insurance. I don't know for sure. I feel sorry for elderly and single moms that have no other recourse. Not to mention a deductible will not help either.

Mynyr did a relocation of the gas pipe in our wall for the relocation of our gas stove. He was very courteous, informative, and professional. The work itself was done in a timely fashion, neat and clean. We would highly recommend Mynyr and Roto Rooter for many household needs.

Due to an error by Frontier, we had a sewer backup into our house. We called Roto-Rooter and they sent Thomas and Garrick to fix the water issues inside the house. Recently I had been having issues with our guest bathroom not flushing properly. Muka came out to look into it and was able to determine the cause fairly quickly. He worked through the issue and even set a follow up to happen with a camera down the septic line to make sure there will be no further issues.He also spotted a slight leak at the base of the toilet and was able to work on that to prevent any future leakage.Overall great experience and he was more than willing to explain what and why he was doing everything which left me feeling confident in his work.

They technician assured me he used a microscope Cera a fixed the plumbing problem and later the next day the plumber refused to show up. Took my $425 cash and I was promised a refund that I the company refused my calls saying the vice president was going to call me . Then Mattew, Richard and Dave split the money and laughed at me.

Pipe that backs up against shower was leaking into closet in bedroom. was impressed they came out the same day. Thought the price was awfully high $300+/hr. Cost up $300 in materials and $1100 for labor. Not sure if problem is fixed. Cut too big a hole where spout for tub is, so there is a gap.

I am writing to share my recent experience with Roto Rooter at 5020 Tampa West Blvd, Tampa, Fl 33634Inexcusable, inefficient and lack of communication by Project Manager, Melvin Davis was experienced by my insurance adjuster and myself throughout this entire project. Melvin met with the insurance adjuster on December 18, 2019 and at that time was asked to submit an estimated cost of remediation. NO estimate or any other communication or information/photos were supplied to the adjuster until the afternoon of January 3, 2020.Throughout this entire job, I continually asked the head technician, Jarred and the salesman, Livingston Sampson, if the adjuster was being sent photos and information as this project progressed, and was told YES by both. This was not TRUE. I received NO responses to my texts/phone calls to Melvin, regarding questions about supplying the insurance adjuster with photos/reports nor about the removal of the bathroom vanity. The Air Quality Assessor's report was sent via e-mail to me and Roto-Rooter on December 23, 2019. I called Roto-Rooter and was told they had not received this report, so I forwarded the report I had received to them, so they would know the 'clean up protocol' and not waste any time. Melvin later informed me that he had indeed received the report on 12-23-19, but was out sick. He failed to send the report to his office or assign someone to handle this; poor management skills by Melvin.Poor Time Management of employees by Melvin was clearly evident. Workers were not on my job site before11:30 a. m. on any day during this project, causing them to work until 8:30 p. m. on two evenings. This was extremely inconvenient for me. Numerous days, head technician, Jarred, was in the Roto-Rooter office doing 'paper work' until 12 noon or later before getting to my job site. Jarred and Mateo would work part of a day, no 2 days consecutively, then were continually pulled off my job by Melvin and sent to other jobs. Technicians had inadequate tools and materials to accomplish tasks on this job. I had to visit a neighbor to borrow tools necessary to attempt to complete their work one day. On 12-29-19 workers arrived at 12:15 p.m.; they left at 2:50 p.m. to go to Seminole, FL to pick up 6 mil plastic they needed for the job and returned at 4:35 p.m.Due to Melvin's poor management skills and lack of a sufficient number of employees, what should have been a 5 to 6 day job, ended up being a 19 day job!Both the Livingston and Jarred promised numerous times to send me Roto-Rooter's entire report along with all photos sent to the insurance adjuster. To date I have received nothing. On January 16, 2020, I texted Jared and asked him to send photos he promised to send me. NO response. On January 16, 2020 I also texted Livingston and asked him to send me Roto-Rooter's corporate address. Again, NO response.I am passing along the above information to the Board of Directors in my 140 unit condo association to let them know how poorly my job was handled by Roto-Rooter. I am also submitting a Google review to make certain social media is notified of how this company does business. Hopefully, no one will ever have to endure such treatment again.This whole experience has been very unprofessionally and inefficiently handled from day one and has caused much undue stress and frustration. This is UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS BEHAVIOR.ALL customers deserve TRANSPARENCY, TRUTH, ACCOUNTABILITY and INTEGRITY!

Anthony came by on a Sunday evening and helped get our water heater working again. I’m grateful the company stayed in communication with us through out the day even tho they were backed up in our area. They honored our request to still have a technician come out later in the evening rather than the next morning. Will definitely call them again for any plumbing needs!!

We had a blockage that didn't allow us to use the restroom or able to take showers had a company come out and spent 3 hours and got nothing accomplished and then wanted us to wait for their next available appointment which was 2 days, so I called roto rooter they were here in less then 2 hours and their tech had the situation resolved in an hour. We came home from vacation to find the water main on the side of our house busted while we were away. We called Roto-Rooter and they sent Alek out within in a couple of hours. When he arrived it was pouring rain, but he waited for it to stop and told us he would have our problem fixed today because he did not want to leave us without water. Even when it started to get dark he turned on the headlights of his truck and continued working and got the job done. He fixed the problem and was a pleasure to work with. Best service experience you could hope for!

The worst company to call for any plumbing problem. They charge $331 for a regular bathroom faucet installation without replacing the drain or water line.In addition to this they charge you per job type and not have an hourly rate. Do not use them and get an estimate from local plumber to compare prices that are substantial lower.

Edwart came out today to unclog my drain line today. Very quick and efficient. Roto rooter gave me a 4 hour time frame when he could show up and he was here right at the beginning so I wasn't waiting around all day.

Derlin Tavera, the field supervisor, did a good job. The other three employees who were working in my flooded first floor did not impress me.I went upstairs to bed Friday, July 1, at 9:30. I woke up at 1:30 to go to the bathroom and heard water running downstairs. The line between the bottom of the toilet tank and the turn-off valve had broken and my entire downstwas flooded. Your telephone answered told me that someone could get to my house between 8 and10 on Saturday morning. The team of two men arrived about 11. I am almost 87 years old and I spent 3 1/2 hours cleaning up the bathroom laminate floor and the kitchen tile floor. The living room carpet was soaked of course.I knew that I had to pay for the plumbing repair. The price of that is outrageous. The labor charge was $660.00 The parts were $22.00 for the new connecting line and I also wanted the newer valve that has on-off positions. That is not a huge price. $660.00 - I will never use this company for a repair again.The two who dried up the carpet and other areas (remember this old woman dried off the kitchen and bathroom to the touch. Of course not underneath.). To dry the carpeting they moved my furniture out onto my back screened porch. They covered it with thin plastic, and because there is a lot of furniture they overlapped two large pieces of this thin plastic. This is the rainy season and hot and humid. The furniture sat outside the number of days that they used dryers and fans. Saturday through to the end of the week. They did not remove the carpet when it was dry. The excuse was that it was dry. They should have removed it; it and it is ruined. They also should have brought the furniture back into the house . The excuse was that it would have to be moved again. True. But it is sitting outside in heat, humi and almost daily rain. Where the plastic overlaps the pieces come apart in the wind because items stand up higher than the comfortable soft chairs and sofa. Things hold that plastic up high and it won’t take long before that plastic rips. Besides all the furniture can be getting damp and mildew. I am furious and will never recommend you to anyone suffering what I have gone through. Not putting the carpet in disposal and putting the furniture back inside is pure laziness.

Prompt and courteous service cleaning an issue we had when the whole house was backed up. The technician, Elvis, was great and explained the process as it unfolded. Talk about draining my pipes! I’ve never had a clog that bad in my life. It had me feeling blue. But Roto Rooter came and took care of me.I feel so relieved, I’m definitely gonna call them again when I get back up. The amount of stuff that came out was insane! A job that used to take me hours by myself only took Mike about 10 minutes. I felt like a new man!!

The water restoration team I dealt with was superb. They always called to say they were on the way or if a change in plan occurred, let me know the night before.They were professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in providing information about what I could do going forward and what sprays to use.After working a long day, Mike and his team came out to demo and clean up black water at 8 p.m.We all know how most service people give you a 3-hour window…not these guys. They told me exactly when they’d be there and they were there on time, every time!!Can’t say enough about their service after what was a “crappy” event in my life.

Scott Bowers as a service technician is amazing! He did an excellent job explaining his process as he was doing it so I know what and why things were being done. Additionally his friendly demeanor and professionalism made me feel like the job was going to be done quickly and correctly. While I would have liked better updates with the arrival because they were 4 hours late from the said time schedule. Scott made up for it when he got to my house by making me feel as he truly cared about getting my issue taken care of and working quickly and carefully to get it done.

Roto-Rooter is coordinated well. My plumber arrived right on time. I also like how Roto-Rooter is transparent about the price right away. My plumber also gave me advice about my garbage disposal, which was handy. Everything worked out just great!

Service was good, but the response time to get information to my insurance company is awful. My insurance company is still waiting for information to pay my claim and cannot get a redo from Roto Rooter and it’s been two weeks since the job was complete. The supervisor will not call back insurance company after multiple calls.

We are new to the area and you can imagine our surprise from our first 3 nights being plagued with 1st floor flooding across the entire area. Roto Rooting did an amazing job of coming on site in a quickmanor to help resolve the flooding issue from our guest bathroom along with the water restoration and clean up crew to sanitize and help us have a healthy and safe living space again. Anthony came through for us big time. We needed a hot water heater replaced and several minor plumbing issues that needed repairs, and he knocked every one of them out. Both techs were extremely careful and clean, wearing shoe cover and ensuring no mess what so ever. They explained the problem, what need to be fixed and how much it will cost and upon my approval fixed the problem within a short period of time. We live in Lutz, Florida and had clogged plumbing so we called Roto-Rooter for help. They were prompt and courteous and were able to clear our drains and unclog both bathrooms. Our plumber, Harald Haas, was great! He was very tidy and cleaned up everything afterward.
