We had a plugged up kitchen sink and thought it was the disposal unit but couldn't correct it corrected ourselves so we knew just who to call-Fox Plumbing and Heating. We have used them before and we were happy that they said they could come within 30 minutes. Kit was our plumbing technician and he fixed our backed up sink right away with professionalism and expertise. Fox Plumbing & Heating remains our first choice and again has proven that they are Seattle's Most Trusted Plumbing and Heating Company----FIVE STARS all the way.

Troy came out today from Beacon. Very personable and professional. He was able to clear our plugged toilet! In addition (we have a really older house with older plumbing) he was able to fix 3 other areas including replacing the pea trap, sink stopper and the leaky supply line to the toilet. Even though it seemed like a lot it really was stuff that needed to be done. I hope everyone is lucky enough to get him when they need a plumber.

Wayne and his crew came recommended by a local sewer inspector and I'm SOOOO glad! I needed to replace 30 feet of sewer line because of massive root intrusion. Wayne priced my job competitively and got back to me right away with a bid. Once I decided to go with him and his team he was very good at communicating progress and timelines. His team on the job site was very professional. When I come to the time when I need to have the rest of the line worked on, I will look no further than Emerald City Sewer!

I had to install a new hot water heater. nn The service man named William and Amen showed up and did the superb job.I installed the water heater the other day, but had some more issues so I called the plumber (William). He showed up early morning and took care of the issue plus other existing. problems. I cannot say thank him enough. He is the BEST! Thanks!!!

Super glad I called Ridgid Plumbing today. We had a hot water leak under the house. Armin came out and knew exactly what to do each time a curve ball was thrown his way, due to some access issues. Can't recommend this firm enough!

Update: The number the you just gave me won't connect to anyone except the answering service. Not to mention, the sales rep won't return my calls. How about if you just call me?

1. EXTREME rip-off. Worth 5000 - 7000 dollars according to Google, but I paid over 15k for about 20 man-hours of work. That's $750 per hour. Then I found out, my remodeling contractor would have done it for 6k total.
2. LATE. The won't be able to come patch the walls for another 3 weeks. When they do, they won't paint.
3. UNRESPONSIVE. Once they have your money, they don't return your calls. The silence is deafening.

Disappointed in this company and the work that they did for me. I requested a cabling of my main sewer line and the technician only worked for about a hour before leaving after barley clearing the line. The company recommended a complete sidewalk tear up and broken line replacement which wasn't the actual issue. (according to them a “break” is also an offset) I had to talk to multiple managers to have them come out to attempt to clear the line a week after the first attempt, which they eventually did. Prices are too high for their lack of follow through. unfortunate this company has declined over the years in my opinion.

NEVER hire this company! Sloppy work, rude staff, and NOT on time. I have never written a negative review online, but they deserve my very first.

Setting: Our neighbor's residence needed sewer work. The hole for the project was made on the street in front of our residence. We are on a heavily trafficked street.

1. Poor communication - When every car made a banging sound throughout our house and buses created small earthquakes that shook dishes, expanded cracks, and knocked items off shelves, we tried to find who was in charge of the project. There was no clear information available and we had to go through multiple avenues, taking weeks, to find out who they were.

2. Does not keep to timeline - When we asked about timelines/updates, things always happened weeks to months after what they said. This project took them six months to complete. I would defer to an expert, but my understanding is that a leaking pipe does not take six months to fix.

3. Sloppy work (see attached imaged)- We consulted another construction company about the shaking of our house. They informed us that Bob Oates had done a poor job at installing the steal plate. The bump they created around the plate launched vehicles into the air to land on the plate. The impact resulted in loud noises and the house shaking. Bob Oates did not do anything when contacted and asked to fix this. There was loose asphalt that also got into the underbellies of cars.

4. Parking - We have street parking, and they parked equipment on the street in front of our home for months WITHOUT a sign (and therefore, I assume without a permit) to do so.

5. Safety concern - Because there was a large bump, cars swerved into the bike lane or across the centerline to avoid the plate. We almost witness multiple crashes. There was no signage to slow down. We made Bob Oates aware of the safety concern, and no action was taken. There was one sign up about a steal plate up the road mixed in among signs of another construction site. Even living here, I did not notice the steal plate sign for months.

6. Quality of life - Imagine hearing a bang or having your house shake every minute of the day for months. You think I'm kidding, but I am not. We live on a main road. When working night shifts it was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep during the day with all the city buses and trucks.

7. Rude staff - When addressed in person, the staff was rude and condescending. One went as far as mocking me for saying that our house is shaking by spouting, sure, everyone says their frames shake.

I hope you are convinced NOT to use this company.

Nick and his crew were fantastic. Very professional and did exactly what they said they would do. I have been a RE Broker for over 30 years and was so lucky to get Nick and Repipe Masters to save my transaction. Great value-much better than two other big plumbing outfits that gave me bids. I highly recommend Nick and Repipe Masters!!

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.

We always use PSP. Workers are always punctual and professional. They explain things so dummies like me can understand. I highly recommend PSP.
