I've used Rapid Rooter several times. Their pricing is very reasonable and they do one thing very well which is clear your clogged drain. They helped me clear up a drain issue that was holding up my bathroom remodel and allowed me to continue with the project. I'll definitely use them again.

Our furnace stopped working on a Sunday. Danny was out about an hour later and went out of his way to rearrange his Monday to pick up an ordered part and be at our house the next day even though he has four more deliveries to make after ours that night. We were impressed and thankful to only have one night without heat. Would def. use Fox again.

We had flooding of our basement and thought that we probably needed a French drain installed, which is super costly. We called Emerald City Plumbing and Wayne came out and looked at what was happening and figured out that the problem was with the rain coming off of the roof. Our downspouts were missing or not well directed. They repaired them and diverted all of the water out to the street instead of the foundation of our house, where it was previously going. They also dug some soil out next to our house and sealed the wall outside.

Throughout the process they kept us in the loop. They don't do work inside, but Wayne suggested what we needed done and he even came to check on the interior once we had the sheet rock removed. He was then able to see that we had a leak from a crack between the window where the water was entering the wall.

We were so impressed by him and his whole team! So professional and responsive.

I always use Roto-Rooter because they are great. Why are they great? 1-they come out right now if you have an emergency 2- their plumbers are professionals 3- their prices are fair and 4- they let you request the same plumber if you really like your last plumber. Water heater had a leak and needed to be replaced. Called Puget Sound Plumbing and they were here to address the problem and replaced the water heater within a few hours after calling. Great response and very professional.

Simon was very good and easy to work with. He was able to give a quote and perform without us being home. He was willing to stop by prior to contracting on a weekend and able to answer technical questions. His bid was competitive and his work was good.

My project to replace the water main from the meter to my house was very successful! The crew showed up at the promised time, started immediately and finished early. The city inspector passed the work the same day, and the trench was covered the next morning. The men were careful to avoid tracking any dirt in my home. The work area was cleaned up when they left, and the work was professionally done. I was offered a choice between to code work or an optional upgrade of 2 PVC sleeve over the pipe. I chose the sleeve as a reasonable cost increase for better protection against future soil penetration or digging. The lead plumber told me about a city-sponsored partial plumbing cost rebate program, which I was previously unaware of, thus saving me money on my next water bill. The crew decided to install a PEX line, which is state-of-the-art plumbing material, versatile and durable. After the job was finished, a small leak developed at the downstream end, which was quickly fixed, leading to a perfect installation. I am very happy with the process and the result.

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.
