Best Repair in Seattle WA

Rapid Rooter came to snake our sewer line. Not only were they quick, their costs were very reasonable. Would definitely use them again.

We had a leak under our sink which was causing water to drip into our basement. We have had other plumbers come to our West Seattle house, some of which were good and some not. Ryan Bennett found the work done by the previous plumber was substandard and was probably causing the problem. It was obvious that Ryan was experienced and knew his trade, he was pleasant, professional and reasonable Knowing a good plumber, like a good mechanic or hair dresser is worth their weight in gold. Very friendly office staff and technicians. I have had several issues with our mini split systems at our property and they are usually able to come out in a day or 2 to fix. Prices have typically been better than other HVAC companies I've used.

Highly recommend. Same day service. Very nice brothers to work with. I called at nine in the morning and had a new hot water tank by one. Reasonable cost. A pleasant experience working with them, if you can call spending on maintenance of a home fun...lol. Really, great guys. You need not look any further for hot water tank repair or replace.

Same day service on a Saturday was quick with good communication (called around 1:00 PM and everything was done by 5:00 PM on the same day). Jesus and Brian did quick, reliable work. The service was courteous with clear communication throughout.

We had flooding of our basement and thought that we probably needed a French drain installed, which is super costly. We called Emerald City Plumbing and Wayne came out and looked at what was happening and figured out that the problem was with the rain coming off of the roof. Our downspouts were missing or not well directed. They repaired them and diverted all of the water out to the street instead of the foundation of our house, where it was previously going. They also dug some soil out next to our house and sealed the wall outside.

Throughout the process they kept us in the loop. They don't do work inside, but Wayne suggested what we needed done and he even came to check on the interior once we had the sheet rock removed. He was then able to see that we had a leak from a crack between the window where the water was entering the wall.

We were so impressed by him and his whole team! So professional and responsive.

I'm not a customer (yet), but I work at a neighboring business. We had a project where we needed some help fast, and the employees here took a moment to help us out. So 5 stars for being really good neighbors. I expect they're even nicer to customers, so they'll be my first call when I need a plumber, too.

The service provided by the technician, John (sp?), was great. He was happy and willing to communicate with me by phone as the owner of the rental property where the service was needed, and also provide some education/tips to the tenants in person to help maintain the drain properly. They were able to come the same day of the request and everything was exactly what you would want from a less-than-desirable (and expensive) situation. The problem was solved quickly and I give John 5 stars. The reason I gave 4 stars for the entire service is because of the person who took my call (dispatch). He was laconic, sighed often, and sounded annoyed and/or frustrated. He cut me off frequently (so much so that he didn’t hear the correct spelling of my name and entered it wrong on the ticket) and didn’t answer my questions when I admitted that I didn’t know the difference between hydro and blade options. He just said it was “[my] preference”, even though i told him multiple times I didn’t know the difference. Never once did he say that hydro was more expensive. He continued to sound frustrated. I give that guy 1.5 stars only because he actually did send someone, but I was so irritated that I almost cancelled the service and went with another company… but John compensated for the dispatch person’s shortcomings.

Richard showed up on time - did a very good job with our bathroom drain. Was very patient and worked till the problem got much better. I generally do not do reviews - but this was very good.

I trusted too much and didn't watch after the pipes were put in. The lawn was a mess. The guy who raked the dirt back into the gully didn't tamp the dirt down and bury the rocks. So there's rocks of all sizes and mounds of extra dirt that didn't fit back into the gully. The ceiling panels could have been put back better. I trusted you Eric. I want that last 500 dollars to hire someone to get the lawn back.

I highly recommend Jim Dandy. I've used them multiple times over the last decade for various of plumbing repairs and disasters, and they have always sent out kind, competent, professional plumbers. This week I have a sudden flooding bathtub drain, and they were able to send a plumber the next day, he was able to fix the problem, and he was able to recognize another problem (a cracked pipe in the basement) that was unfortunately more significant, but that I hadn't yet noticed. All around professional and reliable.

PJ and the team came to the rescue for me. My home ran into a serious plumbing issue, with a sewer line that needed to be replaced. Our whole household was in emergency mode — we couldn't take a shower, flush, or even wash our hands normally.

PJ and the team went well beyond the call of duty, working late into the night on a holiday weekend to get us operational again. They didn't have to do that — but I am so appreciative that they did!

You'll be pleased with their dedication to the craft, communication, and overall pleasantness to work with.

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.
