My outside drain backed up into my basement. I called Wayne at Emerald City Sewer and he and his crew came over that evening. Evidently the problem was quite a ways from the house. Not only did they blow out the entire line, but they installed an outside access to the sewer line, which I didn't have in my 1962 house. Cleaned up like they were never there. Highly recommend!

We had a clogged bathtub and I called Pioneer because a friend of mine told me he used them with success. They were excellent. They did show up an hour late, but they called and told me this two hours prior so I could adjust. Things happen at sites, I get it, but they took the time and had the courtesy to call and tell me they were working on another clients problem still. That stood out to me because they wanted to take the time to fix an issue and still had the foresight to keep me in the loop. When they got to my place they were nice, efficient, and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes. For that they get 5 stars.

My kitchen drain backed up due to an obstruction in the pipe. The blockage was impossible to snake out, it was some strange slime like material such that a drain snake could push through, but not push out. The repair entailed location of the blockage, construction of a containment area due to the dust created from the removal of a patch of cement basement flooring, cutting out a section of drain pipe, pressure cleaning the remaining pipe, replacement of the removed section of pipe, filling the cavity with gravel and pouring new cement to restore the floor and extensive clean-up of the area.Chuck Graf, the technician who performed this work was friendly, professional and skilled. I used to be a manager at The Boeing Company, based on my experience I found Chuck to be the kind of employee every manager desires. He's got a good attitude and work ethic, highly competent with respect to his requisite skill set and great customer interaction.

I am so thankful that I found Ridgid Plumbing and Drain Services! I received a call from my tenants that a new toilet I had installed by another company in October last year was leaking at the base. I tried calling a few different places, but did not find anyone available or the pricing was not clear upfront. I then called Ridgid Plumbing and they gave excellent knowledge, advice, and also the pricing was clear and fair. They also sent someone out immediately. This is the first time I had a problem with my condo and my tenants were so happy with the service they received from Ridgid Plumbing. I will now be using them for any future issue that arises. TJ arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to show me the video of our sewer pipe and explain what was happening. He wore his mask the full time and was tidy and professional.

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.
