He showed up on time. Got busy with the repair service. Explained as he went. Gave his recommendation on the piece of equipment and/or replacement options for when that need arises. It was a good experience from my perspective.

Water heater was spitting out water, called, came same day and replaced it! They brought things up to code and it was all done quickly. Super professional, also helped with my sink. Joe was plumber who came and was great, and so was the person who answered the phone. 10/10 would recommend!

I tried to use ice to clean the garbage disposal, the moter burned out and they were quick, to not only explain why they couldn't give a quote over the phone ( new home buyer here so I dont know anything about housing and upkeep) but they also got here the same week I called, and solved my problem in a very quick amount of time. 10/10 would recommend!! I have dealt with different plumbing companies in Seattle and I have to say that Bob Oates is superior to all I have ever used. I like the professionalism and their expertise. They respected my house. They listened and answered to all of my concerns. They have great communication skills. I am very impressed as I rarely see this. Also they didn't make me feel that got ripped off. I got a great value from them. I have had a bad taste from other plumbing companies and contractors. This company has 100% impressed me. Nick and his team were clean, courteous and were able to do the work quickly. They repiped our house in one day and when he realized they had forgotten to repair the drain pipe for the washer Nick called immediately to let me know so that I wouldn't use the washing machine until they had come back asap to correct the mistake. They even made time to correct a bad decision we had made about keeping a faucet when they returned.
Bottom line: They provided us with good service and great value.

Jon quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with our heater. He and his assistant were extremely courteous and helpful. We'll definitely call Puget Sound Plumbing and Heating the next time we have issues.

My project to replace the water main from the meter to my house was very successful! The crew showed up at the promised time, started immediately and finished early. The city inspector passed the work the same day, and the trench was covered the next morning. The men were careful to avoid tracking any dirt in my home. The work area was cleaned up when they left, and the work was professionally done. I was offered a choice between to code work or an optional upgrade of 2 PVC sleeve over the pipe. I chose the sleeve as a reasonable cost increase for better protection against future soil penetration or digging. The lead plumber told me about a city-sponsored partial plumbing cost rebate program, which I was previously unaware of, thus saving me money on my next water bill. The crew decided to install a PEX line, which is state-of-the-art plumbing material, versatile and durable. After the job was finished, a small leak developed at the downstream end, which was quickly fixed, leading to a perfect installation. I am very happy with the process and the result.

Akers is THE BEST if you need a waterline replacement. I came home from 2 weeks away to learn of a leak in our 250 foot water line from the city meter to the house. Andy came out within a day to take a look and spent 90 minutes with me describing the exact approach they would take and answered all questions. His crew got started within 3 days and had a new line installed in a couple of days using the best materials and fittings (other quotes from plumbing companies called for using inferior pipe and not nearly the level of thoughtfulness as Akers). It was a tremendous stress reliever to have professionals handle this and allow me to never worry about it again. If you need a new waterline in the Seattle area Akers is the only place to call.

Had them come out for a hot water heater repair, right on time and very professional. Also, the guy wasn’t equipped to fix the problem I had, but he told me how to do it myself and then didn’t charge me for the visit, saying he doesn’t like charging people when he doesn’t fix the problem.

Didn’t fix my issue, but it wasn’t their fault, and overall found them to be very trustworthy. Would recommend.
