Got multiple bids and not only did they have the best price for our water heater replacement, J&J were also the most professional. Knowledgeable and organized, I got a quote quickly (some of the others never even sent a quote after coming out to look… smh), great communications, modern systems (electronic invoicing etc). Isaac came, he did the work, did a great job. Just so professional and a pleasure to do business with, highly recommend!

I have used Magic for nearly 2 decades now. I just had Steve Sobieraj out today to clear a drain in a unit. The Best tech on the team. He brought in a work mat for the kitchen floor, a bucket for draining and left the place nicer than it was. That was a first.This should be the standard for all the techs. And did I mention very knowledgeable?

The technicians from Flow Masters were very professional and very thorough with the work. They took their time and did an amazing job, better than several other companies I've hired in the past.
I was wondering why they were taking so long but turns out they were just going above and beyond.

Genteel was really good at answering the phone and getting a tech out to the house. The problem: They quoted $3800 for a water heater install, very basic took about 1 hour. I didn't shop around - didn't expect their to be variation for this service, assumed they were charging fair prices. I got curious and called Home Depot for full install for same model at same location and they quoted $2000 all in, independent plumber in SF $2000 - $2500. Would never recommend these guys if their business model is to overcharge in an emergency.

Never fun having to replace your water heater that's leaking but SMP did an awesome job getting everything back up. Dominic did a great job replacing the heater but we ran into some issues with rust clogging up the kitchen sink and shower. Dominic and Mike took the time to get everything cleaned out and running properly.

Also same day service. Other places I called were more expensive and said they could fix same day but kept calling back and extending the time and then asked if I was free later in the week.

I'm very impressed with this company! Marco and Mario came here yesterday, a Sunday, when I had a clogged drain pipe. It turned out to be something highly unusual, something Marco said he hadn't seen in his 20 years in business. They skillfully and methodically figured out exactly what the problem was among quite a few possibilities. And they kept at it for more than 2 hours until they fixed the situation. I really appreciate their skills and perseverance. I definitely will use this company all the time now, and I'm happy to recommend them.

We had our main sewer line break and send water back into our downstairs bathroom. Chosen Rooter was here within 10 minutes, scoped the line and found the tree roots that had broken the line. They came the next day for the sewer clean out. Trustworthy and great work.

I live in a 100-year-old San Francisco building, that was converted to condos in 1985. Naturally, things go wrong all the time, and need to be updated. Marco has been available to us on an emergency basis to locate and repair a major leak inside a wall, and also as scheduled for bathroom remodeling, plumbing installation for an in-unit washer, etc. I highly recommend him , since he has been able to diagnose and fix problems in a building that he didn't know anything about when we first called him. Excellent in every respect.

I contacted J Drains based on the referral of a friend. I called and the voice mailbox was full, but within 20 minutes I received a call back from Jason, the owner. I walked him through my problem (sewer was backing up at the clean-out on the property line). He discussed several remedial strategies based on listening to my assessment, where his price estimate was better than competitors by several hundred dollars. He then also said based on where it is - sewer backed up to the street - you should contact the City [of San Jose], they will likely come out and deal with this for you for free. He was shocked that other plumbers I'd called *hadn't bothered to inform me of that option*. Jason was 100% right; I called the city, and they sent a truck out 20 minutes later and cleared the problem right up. Cost to me - $0 (included in my municipal taxes). I know where I'll be turning for my future plumbing needs and advice. Thank you, Jason & co.!

very friendly person and honest,have a 50 years old faucet few other plumbing company and rooter company couldn't fix it.But bn plumbing spend few hour and fix it for me.
