Best Drain Issues in San Francisco CA

Mario came out within 30 min from calling. I needed hydro jetting done and everything went great! Everyone I talked to was so nice.. customer service was excellent. They were cheaper than other quotes I had that were $1500-$1700, which was way too much for a mobile home. I couldn’t be happier with their service and will use them again in the future.. thank you soooo much Mario!!

Mario was fantastic! He showed up promptly, explained everything that was wrong, and offered several solutions to choose from. We just had a baby and he was very considerate of our time and ensuring the job was done quickly. Would highly recommend for any plumbing needs!

The plumber was on time, knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job! He thoroughly inspected the problem, returned the next day with replacement parts, as promised and completed the work within the time estimate. He explained everything in a clear and concise manner and answered all my questions. He even called back a couple of days later to explain something I asked the dispatcher about. Plumbers had to remove 2 water heaters from a shelf 5 ft high, to floor level, replace one heater, replace & re-route piping, re-install washer & dryer to new location. Great job! Professional, efficient, communicative crew.

Get the price quotes in writing BEFORE service is started. They replaced my garbage disposal and toilet fill valve. I asked for a quote and he said $200+ for parts. I asked for a TOTAL cost of parts and labor and he quoted me $500+. I said great, let’s do it. Total time took 45 minutes and he presented me with a bill for $757.50. You can see the attached invoice that he charged me $515.00 for the service. WHAT??? Literally less than an hour of “service” time and more than twice the cost of parts?? I’ve called twice to speak to someone but they don’t block time to return calls so the person on the phone doesn’t know when someone will get back to me.

We were at a time of need where our employees needed to wash their hands and our dishes And our water heater was leaking. I called many places and wasn’t able to find anyone available on that Friday afternoon. My last call was to advanced plumbing and they immediately dispatched a plumber to my business. PROBLEM SOLVED!

They were responsive and did an okay job that I paid a lot for but don't have much confidence in.

I called a bunch of plumber services in the neighborhood to get a quote for my shower that was draining very slowly. I went with Chosen Rooter and Plumbing because of their initial quote of $150 - $250. They also advertised that they have a 15% discount on their yelp page. Because of this and the 5-star review, I scheduled for them to help fix my drain issue.

I rarely write any negative reviews, but I feel that everyone should WATCH OUT for this company because of how misleading they are with their customers.

The technicians showed up and fixed the drain in less than 15 minutes. I knew that this was going to be an easy job since the drain was not fully clogged. I thought the initial quote of $150 would be the price with the 15% discount.

The technicians told us the total would be $250. I was shocked and confused but did not want to argue with strange men in my house and would just bring this up to the manager. I paid the invoice and immediately tried to contact them to see why the price was so high.

I brought this up with the manager, Daniel, but he was not helpful and I had to message several times to get an actual response.

He told me that they charge per project and because they used a power snake, it cost more. He also mentioned that the 15% discount only applies to neighbors and that I didn't ask for the discount.

First of all, I live in San Francisco, so I am confused about how I am not considered a neighbor. Second of all, I did mention that I am calling from Yelp and the discount.

Daniel proceeded to tell me that it's so great that they charge per project because other companies charge per hour and the customer is usually milked like a cow per hour.

Overall, I would not recommend this company as they mislead their customers and do not actually use their advertised discounts. I am not entirely sure why they have a 5-star rating but I do know that some companies can pay for better reviews.

Went through a couple plumbers until I flound these guys. Super professional and extremely effective. Not the cheapest, but you really want your plumbing done right.

I just posted a photo of the new toilet Ace installed. Our house has had Ace out numerous times to resolve various issues relating to our building's age (1880's) and the shoddy DIY work of previous owners. These guys have always been nice. Upfront, accurate estimates before work begins. In this particular bathroom Ace advised us we could either keep fighting the issue or simply replace the toilet. They let me select, from the variety at the big box hardware store, for whichever toilet would meet my needs (and fit). Dude! I so wish we'd done this long ago. It looks so sweet and the flush so reliable without threatening to overflow.

Jason (owner) is a great person to work with. I called about 10 plumbing company’s on a Saturday and he was the first to call me back. He came over and helped me out right away. Jason is a true knowledgeable professional to work with. I had a complicated issue at my house and he was dedicated to seeing me through the end and making sure I always understood what was going with the plumbing. As a contractor myself I could not recommend him more to work with. His right hand man Frank has good plumbing jokes too!
